Lightroom Classic

Well I loved AI masks and the ability to batch edit for efficiency.  Now for some reason I have to 'update AI settings' on every photo after the mask has been copied.  I can't copy and paste settings of masks (only does one picture at a time even if I've selected more).  I've tried different hacks from these forums.  NOTHING!  I'd be so grateful for a solution.  It used to be that I could edit one picture with masks, the copy those settings to the following ten pictures.  Now for some reason it's not possible.  ANY suggestions welcome!!!  Thanks!!!

Hii work with LRC, on desktop computer, very strong  new computer.and LRC is slowwww...for example, i click a thumbnail in order to see the enlarged photo, it may take 2-3-4-5 seconds to update the big image. and sometimes it doesn't update. it stays stuck with the previous image. i click a new thumbnail and yet see previous photo.is there a way to solve it ?

Since the last update from 17 june 2025, I have difficulties sending my photos to PS from LrC. It takes minutes to send a photo to PS, but most of the time it fails and PS does crash from my Windows PC.

it is possible to split an HDR photo in all the photo that has been shotted? I would erase one of them because not on focus 

Pet peeve. Was LR developed by a bunch of 20-somethings? The fonts are too small for my 60+ year-old eyes! I have font size set to large in Preferences>Interface. This problem occurs throughout. Develop module is terrible, the letters are gray on gray, there's not enough contrast. Library module too, casn't read the file names in the extended thumbnail. And the extensions, absurd forget it! Take a lesson from Bridge, and make these fonts so people like me can read them. My vision isn't that bad, it's 20-30 and i wear reading specs. Even the damn Preference Panel makes me squint. This is such an unnecessary mistake that has been made. At least make the font color white instead of gray, you're sacrficing readabilty for design, which is the same as bad design. If the Develop Module used tabs instead of lines you could make the font larger. Just sayin'. Please rethink this, Adobe.

Do the updated remove tools replace at the original images full resolution?

I store my presets with my catalog, and that catalog is on an external drive that I switch up between my desktop and laptop when I'm traveling. All the presets show when using my desktop, but when I use my laptop and pull up the same catalog, a good amount of the presets are missing. If I import them again while using the laptop, then when I plug the harddrive back into my desktop, they appear twice. How can I get them to be consistent between machines? I thought that was the whole point of storing them with the catalog, but maybe I'm missing a step somewhere?

Remove reflections works with sony an nikon files but not my Olympus Raw Files (ORF).

In the Compare mode the Sync button next to the Zoom slider is greyed out and I do not know why. Two photos are showing, which is a common cause but not here.  Please see the attached screen shot. I am running LR Classic 14.3.1 on Mac OS 15.5. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.  

The new AI People and Reflections detection features are not working. People is not detecting people and Relfections doesn't even appear to be an option. I have updated via My Creative Cloud Desktop app and uninstalled/reinstalled Lightroom Classic to no avail.  I've attached screenshots of a photo I was testing and how my Lightroom Classic interface appears with only the non-working People feature.

Installed LrC but do not have the modules - Library, Develop etc. Can't access my photos from past years.  On a Mac running 15.5 Sequoia

It showed up when I first started using LRC.     Now all I have is Quick Develop.     Also, is there a dust and scratch remove tool?    Or do I just use Generative AI remove?    I'm working with old photos.   Thanks.

Every time I have to start manually with a catalog in my documents folder, and I don't even know how it got there.  

I just can't get a photo to email in LrC. I've tried everything. I have a Mac fyi. It's a problem with the outgoing server I'm guessing.

HelloI am new to LRC and this is also a Photoshop issue too. When i click on a photo to edit in Photoshop it opens in Photoshop but at this set size image everytime. It is cropping off my original file!Its like when I open in photoshop there is this preset size set. I dont know why that is hapening.Photoshop is set to open at 300dpi but the image size is at a set dimension?Why?

What do these symbols mean and how to eliminate them. They are in the upper right hand corner of the format holding an image.

I have been having this issue for about one year and every time I talk to support they try something that never works so I often gave up and found workarounds. On a macbook air M1 running latest Mac OS. In a nutshell the issue is:   1. Import raw photos from camera into Lihtroom Classic 2. Create collection with photos and share with lightroom mobile (cloud) 3. Edit photos on iPad and edits most of the time sync back to Lightroom Classic 4. However, if I add a photo in the same collection from the iPad or from the browser, the photo never syncs back up to Lightroom Classic 5. Have spent already around 20 hours either chatting or on the phone with support and they have made the issue worse in a different way 6. One agent after many hours playing around through remote access determined that the catalog must be corrupted, even though tere were no errors on any logs about it 7. They createda new catalog and were supposed to copy the old catalog but the new catalog did not show my two

the photo is showing up as blue grain, but does not appear on the thumbnail. not sure what i did or if i pressed something wrong but it is appearing on the three photos to the left. the only place it looks normal is when im in the masking tab but all other editing tabs show up like this. any ideas?

Hello, I've searched the LRC Community and have found several Discussions and Bugs with respect to this but nothing that is recent.- Solved: LR hangs during import - Adobe Product Community - 12651407 I recently switched to a Surface Pro 11 (Snapdragon processor).  :- import works fine with a variety of image files and image file formats- import fails/hangs as soon as it attempts to import any video file--- I've let the process hang for several days hoping that whatever emulation was going on would eventually work --- I must force close LRC and restart- if I move all video files out of the folder, all is fine with import--- if I try to import from the separate video folder - it hangs- I've created a new, fresh catalog--- tried to import one video file - it hangs I've have not deleted dynamiclinkmediaserver as another post suggests as this seems to draconian. Keeping video files in a separate folder that's not part of my catalog is NOT AN OPTION.&

Software developper from PTGui let us know that not all the metadata was forwarded in the jpg export. Can you please support this data just like the 3 camera's from the mavic 3 pro are supported. It is about this data that the jpg files of an export are missing: it is about the 2,5x zoom lens of the newly released mavic 4 pro =============  It works for all DNG files you sent me. PTGui positions them automatically after loading.  The JPGs don't contain the necessary metadata though. This appears to get lost during raw conversion. Here's what it looks like; PTGui looks for the GimbalYawDegree and GimbalPitchDegree. I had to switch AV software, whhich solved the issue, AVG used to perform well, not cause issues, but I concluded it was AVG that slowed down LIghtroom, Firefox, including the latest versions. It could take seeveral minutes to load Lightroom, and had to wait several minutes before I was able to switch pictures, as the software did not react. I had user interface issues. Pc even froze completely at times. Lightroom Classic versjon: 13.4 202406181129-60d181b7 Windows 11 Pro, Intel Core i9 11900K, RTX 3090Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200MHz 64GB using the software in general, everythign was slow. Tout d'abord, bravo Adobe, moi qui fait beaucoup de paysages, la nouvelle fonction de masques de paysages me fait gagner énormément de temps. Toutefois, j'ai un petit bug -> quand je copie les masques issus de la fonction paysage sur une autre photo, si un des masques n'est pas reconnu (par exemple il y avait de l'eau sur la photo "copier" et il n'y en a plus sur la photo "coller")  alors la fonction "afficher l'incrustation"  ne fonctionne plus du tout, même sur les autres masques. Le problème se résout uniquement en fermant et réouvrant lightroom classic. Est ce mon PC (jai seulement un I5) ou alors un bug lightroom ? Si quelqu'un peut me dire...

I’ve been using Adobe Lightroom to manage my photo projects for years, and usually, things go smoothly. But recently, while working on a client shoot, I ran into a huge mess. I imported images from multiple sources — my DSLR, a backup SD card, and even synced some from my cloud storage — just to make sure I had everything. Now Lightroom is a disaster. My catalog is full of duplicate photos — some exact copies, some with different names or slight edits.
