I’m running into a really frustrating issue in Lightroom Classic.Whenever I make adjustments to a photo and then continue editing other images, the edits I made to that first photo seem to disappear. I then have to click the yellow warning icon in the top-right corner and reapply the masks and settings almost every single time. What on earth has happened??At this point I’m exporting every photo immediately after editing it, just to avoid losing my work — otherwise I’m doing everything twice. It’s incredibly frustrating!(I’ve installed the latest Lightroom Classic update.)
Just updated catalog for 15.0. Now, many images will not load ("loading"....). Looking into it, these images were edited in the earlier version. They are .psd files. Lightroom will not open them, but I can open and edit in Photoshop. Also, Lightroom states that many files are missing (even though they are on the HD). I tried Sync, but the only files brought back in were "rejected" from the library. Next, some photos are simply gone. There were images I spent more time on with edits in and out of Lightroom. Luckily, they were on a separate backup. However, this was one folder that a client from many months ago wanted more copies. My Lightroom database has tens of thousands images. I hate to think this issue would extend throughout my library. I'm not saying Lightroom deleted images, but I never purposely delete images, especially ones I spend time on.
Hello, I am using the latest LR Classic version, 15.0.1. It is running on Windows 25H2, the latest version. I have 64 gb of ram, tons of storage capacity, a high end Intel processor and a calibrated moinitor. Two days ago I printed a panorama on Epson Exhibition Canavas Gloss roll paper using an Epson Surecolor P900 printer. I want 3 copies because I am giving them as gifts. I decided the last print, the 3rd of the 3 copies, was too saturated so today I made edits in the Develop module to lessen the saturation and watched it get lightened to my liking. However, when I started printing it, it was coming out much more saturated than the previous print! I had absolutely not made any changes in my printer driver even though it looks like I selected Managed by Printer, which I did not. So, I was scratching my head trying to figure out what occurred. What I just observed is the following: When I was going back and forth to earlier edits thinking maybe I will just use a p

I am receiving an error message in Lightroom Classic stating that some photo files are unsupported or corrupted since the December 2025 update. When I reboot, the message goes away and appears for different photos. Everything was fine before the update. Has anyone experienced this problem and did you roll back to a previous Classic version?
Ever since Light Room Classic updated with the latest version 15.0.1 whenever I open it, it is continually scanning for metadata updates. What previously only took several minutes now doesn't seem to ever stop.
Dear all I'm trying to find the best file size for a RAW send to PS for modification. The testing protocol is simple. From LrC I edit in PS with several options (PSD, TIFF with no compression, TIFF With ZIP compression, ). In PS I do the same modification (Split frequency, add a background) And at the end, before saving, PS is telling me that the document size is 753.7Mo far all options selected in LrC before (this is normal). Is is just to check that the result is consistent in all tests 1) From LrC PSD ,16 Bits, Prophoto, resolution 240. PSD File size at the end in LrC 642.64MB 2) From LrC TIFF, 16 Bits, Prophoto, resolution 240, no compression. TIFF file size at the end in LrC 1.15GB 3) From LrC TIFF, 16 Bits, Prophoto, resolution 240, ZIP compression. TIFF file size at the end in LrC 1.10GB 4) From LrC TIFF, 16 Bits, Prophoto, resolution 240, ZIP compression but at the end in PS instead of closing the file and accept the save I do a sav
I most often am using Collections to organ ize the photos that I want to edit for a product such as a printed book. When I use Topaz Photo AI on an image in the Collection, I can't find the edited version in the Collection. Is there a way to make this happen? Thanks much
For some newer Nikons, presets containing the Camera Standard profile are incorrectly indicated as partially incompatible. The cameras for which I've observed this happening are the Z f, Z 6 III, Z 50 II, and the Z 8 (the most recently reviewed Nikons at dpreview.com). It doesn't happen with older Nikons. Tested with LR 14.1.1 and LR 13.5.1 / Mac OS. To reproduce: 1. Download and open this catalog, which contains a raw for each of the problem Nikons: https://www.dropbox.com/s/guhjzylef1qslsc/italicized-preset.2025.01.04.zip?dl=0 2. Open the first photo in Develop. 3. Make a preset "Untitled Preset" with just Treatment & Profile selected. Observe in the Presets panel that the preset name "Untitled Preset" is italicized (incorrect). 4. Repeat for the other three photos.
I am trying to create LrC Export templates for 100+ members of a camera club. I have a script that generates xxx.lrtemplate files. The templates load and work but work awkwardly for general distribution. Please point me at documentation for Lr template files. Thanks,Steve
I recently upgraded my old Canon 5D Classic (!) to Canon EOS R and I am struggling with editing. My good ol' tried and true presets look dull - especially in the skintones. Most presets use either the Adobe Color profile or Adobe Standard. But whether I use presets or not I have big problems getting the look I want. My experience:Adobe Color looks absolutely dull. The skintones look washed out, grey and have a cyan/green tint which is impossible to correct - unless I use ALL the sliders available in ALL the panels. And this "breaks" my presets and changes the look I want.Adobe standard looks flat and magenta.Adobe standard V2 looks dull - like Adobe color. The skin tones look lifeless. Then I try to change to Camera standard and Camera standard V2 - and this changes everything to harsh contrasty orange. In other words: I am spending way too much time correcting my photos to make them look pleasing and natural. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance.
This has been a long standing issue and I can't for the life of my figure out why searching for "street" for example will also include pictures of birds with no keyword "street" ... what gives!
Using a Macbook Pro M1 just upgraded to Sequoia, with Adobe LR Classic 14.0.1, and a Fuji GFX100 with tethered capture (ver 1.29.0 latest version), LR tethered capture crashes. Hard crash for the plugin. Any ideas? [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]
I love lossy DNG. Would love to skip a whole step of importing and then converting.
Is there a way to change the text color on the folder titles in Lightroom to make them easier to read?
I have a bug where each time I edit a picture my the app crash and all the pictures and preview became white, and I have to close the app and restart each time!I have a lenovo yoga i9
Hi - I am a long time Lightroom user but I have not used Mobile on my iPad. This summer I loaded Lightroom mobile and love it. So much more capable than the native photo app and the AI object remove is amazing. So much faster than on my (ancient) desktop. Anyway, I have just returned from a trip and have 1,500 photos that I need to sync from the cloud to the desktop. I think I have it all set up ok but Lightroom classic sync is 'stalled' showing it is syncing 1,071 photos (wnen I click the cloud icon). I thought maybe it was just taking its time since there are some videos in there, but I left the computer on overnight and in the morning it still showed I have 1,071 photos syncing. I have rebooted the computer and iPad multiple times but the cloud icon still shows it is syncing 1,071 photos. The 'All synced photos' is showing zero. I have been doing some reading and I think I need to do a reset. I went to Preferences/LightRoom S
I updated my lr today and now when I try to a mask it just crashes or wont work. Have tried endless things to diagnose with adobe agents but nothing so far has worked. It started working a bit just now and the agent said it was due to the catalogue being stored on dropbox. Worked this way for years, anyway figured he must be right as the masks were working the lrcat in downloads. Now it's stopped again. Tried updating software, returning to older version of Lr, clearning preferences files, caches etc etc and nothing is working. Any help would be much appreciated as I can't work properly without using masks and feeling a little helpless. Thanks
This bug has been around for several iterations of MacOS Lightroom Classic and I've never reported it because I've always thought "surely, the developers have noticed this minor issue and will fix it in the next release." Nope. So give it a try. Pull up a photo in the Library. Then switch to the Develop module. Before you do anything, click the profile dropdown and select a different profile. It won't change it. Now do it again. This time it will change. (see attached screen recording) Another work around is to change any other Develop setting after you switch to the Develop module before you try to change the Profile. Then it will change. Bottom line: You can't make a profile change the first thing you do after switching to the Develop module. Can any of you replicate this? It drives me nuts because it's at the top and one of the first things I try to change in Develop.
Hi everyone, I'm using Lightroom Classic 2024 and trying to create a panorama with images that have been rotated slightly using the crop tool because the images I want merged were all tilted at different angles apparently. However, when I do a panorama merge, the images are sticked together as if the angle correction did not take place. I attached a sample of what my panorama looks like right now. It is approximately a 150 degree panorama and obviously, the lake horizon line is not supposed to be warped upwards where the mountains are. I know lightroom does non-destructive edits on photos, but since all my images are RAWs, is there any way to force it to take stuff like rotation changes into account when stiching panoramas? Thanks!
The past couple of weeks, Lighroom Classic has been so slow to upload pics, change to a different picture, and do everything with editing. I'm on a 2021 Mac with M1 chip. At first, I thought my storage was running out but my storage is just fine. I need HELP PLZ!!! I have 2 photo shoots to edit and 1 coming up this weekend. I literally can't edit efficiently, it's WAY TOO SLOW.
Hi, Ever since I updated to 15.0 yesterday on my windows 11, I cannot see what/how much blur I am putting on my photos in Lightroom. I'm having to export before I can tell then blindly adjust. Is there anything that can be done about this? It's driving me nuts and waisting a ton of precious time...
I am looking to increase my subscription from and android account purchased via Play store to a desktop account, and have a few worries about this.I want to be able to still have the seven day free trial, but dont want to lose my mobile account should I decide not to take the desktop version.I only have 6.1 gb of data in the cloud and wondered if I would lose this should I cancel the android account. I have tried asking these questions using the online chat and have had three different answers, which doesnt fill me with any certainty at all and is making me question wheter to move to a different programme.
Hi all, with the last version of LRC, the mask AI creation became slower related to previous version.I use a gaming laptop with 32GB RA;m Intel 7 10gen, dedicated GPU nVidia RTX2060 with 6GB Ram, SSD 1TB with 2 partition (LRC is installed into second partion with catalog and relative cache)When i created a landscape mask, depending by photo, LRC take almost 20sec to create the 3-5 masks. the GPU memory is load around 4-5 GB. The library works fine; my catalog is around 3000 picturesThe regulating sliders work fine but the mask creation is very problematic.I already tryed to re-install LRC and check different youtube tutorialDo you think that my laptop is underated?Do you have any suggestion?Thank youBest regardsGiorgio Facco
