Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

After rotating a photo within the iPhone's lightroom app, the adjust white balance feature does not align itself with the rotation. So one cannot use the eyedropper tool since the colour on the wheel doesn't match the colour in the rotated photo's pixel

I an getting a folder called "auxiliary" showing up when I export a file(s) to a seperate folder. Nothing appears to be saved to this folder, but it appears the first time I export a file. If I delete the folder it does not reappear if I expoet more files.   Ian Winter    

Product: Adobe Lightroom Version: 8.1 Operating System: MacOS OS Version: Sonoma 14.5   Issue: When exporting a User Preset to the same file name, despite the warning about the file being replaced, the file is not overwritten.    How to replicate: 1. Create a User Preset 2. Adjust White Balance Temperature 3. Right Click and Export Preset with filename Test.xmp 4. Open the Test.xmp exported preset file in a Text editor like TextEdit and Note down the Temperature value. (should be something like: (crs:Temperature="5000") 4. Change the Temperature value in Lightroom 5. Right Click and Update Preset with Current Settings 6. Right Click and Export Preset, select the same location and file from Step 3 7. Click Replace when the warning about overwriting the file shows up. 8. Open the preset file in a Text editor and look at the Temperature value.   What is expected: To see the changed temperature value   What is observed: The same, unchanged temperature value.  

I recently got a new computer. When I try to use lightroom CC, the tone curve is blank. Even if I adjust exposure settings or drag the curve, I can't view the histogram. It's still compltely fine on my old computer. I tried quitting and restarting and nothing has fixed it. Any suggestions?

Hello, I would like to use lightroom to correct the distortion by the ETZ Adapter ring. And when I want to choose the profile manually, the select box only jump to "内置" , and can't change anymore. But I use the lightroom classic, it works well. Is it a bug on lightroom or my wrong operation?       The normal on lightroom classic:     And by the way, is there a way that I can correct at jpeg by using profile manually? There are only few profiles at jpeg profile. However most profile (like sigma 90 dgdn can't be used at jpeg but it can be used at raw)  only can used at raw?  

I'm so devastated.  I finally finished all of my edits from a photoshoot, all 7,613 photos, on my ipad and went to open the desktop version to send them off to Smugmug, just to watch as slowly, thousands of edits were reverted. The amount of time it's going to take for me to go back through each of these photos and undo this bizarre bug is just heartbreaking.    The worst part? This isn't the first time this has happened on this same batch of photos. Something has to be done about this. I made sure my iPad was fully synced before opening the desktop, and it still appears to be a consistent issue.   Everything is much faster to edit from my iPad, as the desktop app takes far too long to load each photo when going one by one. 

Lightroom has been having issues with some, but not all video files, saying it cannot import because I do not have disk space for thousands of petabytes (which isn't even possible). I have had this issue with videos from both my GoPro and Nikon Z30. Lightroom thinks the file size is enormous, but everywhere else the file size is correct.   If I import with Browse and navigate to the camera folder, it does not have any issues, but that's not a good fix for me when I have to hunt through an import of 400 files to uncheck the culprits so I can import the rest normally. 😞   I have no idea why this is happening or how to fix - I am trying to do more video editing, and it'll keep being a pain in the butt if I can't get to the bottom of it. I'm running LR 8.1 on a Mac (Sequoia 15.1.1), and there seem to be some really severe bugs. First off, some of the slider controls will suddenly disappear - I can see the number value, but not the slider itself (e.g. Temp under Color, but I can manually enter a new number for the temp, which is very time intensive when I'm trying to hit the sweet spot). In the Info section (metadata), the fields and their titles will initially appear, but if I've entered something, those fields may disappear and I only see the titles (and sometimes I can click on the solid grey area below the titles to make the text appear when highlighted, but not always). Closing and restarting LR seems to help for a bit.   Finally, the memory issue with LR has gotten even worse with this version. I have to close and restart the app a couple of times a day, and *never* leave it open overnight, because otherwise it'll freeze up, with a system message saying that it's using nearly *60GB* of application resources (

I have my OS in English US, all my apps in English US including Adobe Creative Cloud.However when I install Adobe Lightroom out of  Creative Cloud it gets installed in German.WFT? To make thigs worse there seems to be no way to change it to English. How can I get the software to show an English UI?

When I share a photo album in Lightroom iOS with people using the link option it sometimes displays the cover photo in the WhatsApp link and sometimes do not show the cover photo What can I do to rectify this so the link and the cover photo both show on a the WhatsApp message. Could someone help me please 🙏 every picture that I post from Lightroom on my iPad to any social media platform it looks sooooo bad . Out of focus, strange wavy effect in the background. So sharp & clear before they leave me then when they reach social media they are dreadful & I end up removing them before anyone sees them🙁 what am I doing wrong..my partner sends his to social media ( MAC book);and his are perfect..

New to LR - I can't figure out how to replace the red circled area with the grass. I feel like this should be very easy but I can't see how to do this. 

Hello,I have an issue with editing photos with Lightroom, version 9.3.1) on my device Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ (12 GM RAM, 256 GB capacity, model: SM-X810NZAAEUE).Steps to replicate the issue:1. Open any file with Lightroom2. Go to edit mode3. Select any slider edit (exposure, temperature, etc.)4. Use slider5. Notice the image gets blurry/pixelated for a while and then rerenders in the full quality.I also attach a video with the issue reproduction. I tested editing the same image on Galaxy S21 Ultra, iPhone 13 pro, and iPad 11" 4th generation, on none of those devices the issue is replicable.This is such a bummer since I bought the Galaxy Tab S9+ dedicated to editing pictures in Lightroom.

This survey prompt keeps appearing every time I open Lightroom mobile. I click dismiss, but when I come back to the app, it reappears. How do I permanently close it? 

I started using Lightroom as followup for Photoshop Elements (catalog). I have moved al my photo's to Lightroom Cloud now, and even managed to get them (sort of) organised in albums. Now I expect to have no access to (fast) internet during my vacation. Would it be possible to move back to Classic, preferably by keeping access to my library in both environments (synchronising?). I accept that this will take time to download all photo's again to my laptop, but will I be able to maintain the structure in albums I made in the cloud version. Or will it be sufficient to create an album in the Cloud-verion that is available offline. Can I then import photo's from my camara to preview and edit in the cloud version? I am a bit puzzled as to how I can get this working in the most reliable way, i.e. that I can start working with my library independent of the availability of a (fast) internet connection.

Seems like there's a bug with vignette on the Lightroom application vs Lightroom Classic on Mac. Both apps and OSX is up to date. I called Lightroom support and they said it is working as designed, but told me I'm welcome to report it as a bug here.

When working with Adobe Lightroom I received an error - a problem with the local directory -, restarting the program does not help. At the same time, the Adome Lightroom Classic program works properly. How can I restore the functionality of the new Adobe Lightroom? При работе с Adobe Lightroom получил ошибку - проблема с локальным каталогом -, перезапуск программы не помогает. Hola. Ayer me sacó Adobe de mi sesión de Lightroom y al volver a entrar mi biblioteca de fotos desapareció, tanto en la nube como en la aplicación. Quisiera volver a tener acceso a mis fotos. A alguien le ha pasado una situación similar para que cómo solucionarlo. He estado tratando de Contactar a Adobe por chat o por telefonía y no contestan. Algún tip?

Hello,   My photos have disappeared from my Lightroom Mobile account. They were previously uploaded and synced via the cloud. Now, when I log into my account, neither the photos nor the presets are visible.   Please help me understand what happened and assist in recovering the data.   Thank you!

Posiadam pakiet Adobe Lightroom 8.2, używam go na dwu komputerach i telefon. Ponieważ miałem ostatnio kłopoty z synchronozacją (za mało miejsca na dysku, który wskazany jest do przechowywania zdjęć) podłączyłem większy dysk do komputera stacjonarnego, wskazałem odpowiednią ścieżkę i przez ponad 24 godziny pobierało się 600 GB kopii moich zdjęć. Chciał bym mieć możliwość skorzystania z tego dysku jako magazyn (mam już pobrane zdjęcia) w laptop. Podłączyłem dysk, wskazałem ścieżkę do folderu Lightroom CC, w którym znajduje się folder o nazwie z dużą ilością cyferek, ale mój drugi komputer nie widzi kopii zdjęć które pobrał komputer stacjonarny. Laptop tworzy swój folder Lightroom CC. Co mam zrobić abym mógł korzystać offline z kopii zdjęć na dysku zewnętrznym podłączonym zarówno do komputera stacjonarnego jak i laptopa? 

I have been trying for hours to export / save my edited videos from Lightroom app on my iPhone. Every single time the video is just exporting as it was originally before I edited it. I have tried so many suggestions on other message boards such as making sure I am not ticking 'original' when exporting. Nothing and I mean nothing is working. I am so frustrated and feel like giving up. Please someone help me. I have taken a screen shot from with the app (where you can see the colour adjustment) and then a screenshot of the exported video where the edit has not been saved. Please help.
