Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

When I want to use the function "Export as", maximum number of photos that I can save to my gallery is just five. If I select more than 5 photos, Lightroom does not give me the option to do that, instead I have to send them to my Files first, and then from there to save them to my gallery. Why?I use Mobile Lightroom for IOS, version 9.2.2.

I'm currently thinking about setting up a NAS. Since I edit my photos (in a first step) via Lightroom Mobile (and then do the finishing touches on the PC), I'm thinking about what the perfect workflow could look like. Or whether my idea can even be implemented in a semi-automated way: I take most of my photos via my Pixel. But I also syncphotos directly via cell phone. In a further step, the photos should go directly to the NAS (this should be possible with Synology Photos). The photos should then be added from there to a Lightroom catalog. In the Adobe Cloud, Smart Previews from the current year would actually be enough for me - so that I can edit the photos from all devices. I'm not sure if that's possible:- On the one hand, I can of course upload everything from the cell phone to the Adobe Cloud in a first step. But once they are on the NAS, I would like to delete the original file again (without too much effort) and replace it with a Smart Preview - Is

I rely heavily on Profiles in my editing workflow - ones provided by Fuji, Adobe, and profiles I've purchased from third parties. I'd really love to be able to create new profiles from my own edit settings, but don't see a way.  I've found a hacky technique (below) that works, but I'd  love to have a feature to create my own profiles from current settings with a click. The technique I'm using: 1) Export a preset as an .xmp file2) Open in a text editor like Notepad or VSCode3) Find and change these two lines: crs:PresetType="Normal" to crs:PresetType="Look" crs:SupportsAmount="False" to crs:SupportsAmount="True" 4) Save, then in LR go to Profiles and Import the updated file.5) The new Profile will show up in the User Profiles section.

Since the last LR update images flicker, panel flickers and slow to respond. No issues prior to update. All updates have been done. Windows operating system.

I am having problems with Lightroom v8.2, 20250201-0700-1b12095 Build when it comes to recognizing "subject", "background" and "object" in masking. This includes new masking when editing new files and then when reviewing edits and further editing of previous files. In the latter case, previous "subject" masks have disappeared.  I also experience pixelating when doing AI denoise.  Help

Hi Adobe Support,   I am in the middle of a crisis and urgently need help recovering my photos. I recently switched Adobe accounts, attempting to export all of my original photos from my previous account  so that I could import them into my new account (). However, when I logged back into my original account, I discovered that all of my photos are gone!   I had hundreds of thousands of photos stored in the cloud—representing my entire life’s work as a photographer and content creator. These images are invaluable to me, and I need them restored as soon as possible. Unfortunately, I do not see any option to restore them myself, and I am panicking about the possibility of permanent loss.   Could you please assist me with: 1. Confirming whether my photos are still retrievable from Adobe’s servers? 2.Restoring my full photo library as it was before this issue occurred? 3.Understanding why my photos disappeared and how I can safely transfer them to my new account without

I shared a link to a web album for adobe lightroom CC with a client and they immediately reported that when zooming in, the images were blurry. As it turns out, when viewing the images in-browser and zooming in, the full resolution fails to load and renders details far blurrier and soft than the actual image is when downloaded and zoomed in. Zoomed in on Browser:  Zoomed in after downloading:   [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]

Hello,  I am focus stacking by editing RAW files in LR + edit as layers in Photoshop + Auto Allign and Auto Blend. However, when I save (not save as) I do not see a new file and neither do I find a new file back in Lightroom. Can anyone help? All tutorials I've seen online deal with Lightroom Classic and check stack with original to ensure the new file is easy to find back in Lightroom next to the original files, but this option isn't available on LR as there is no external editing preferences. The only solution for me at the moment is to export in Photoshop, but I'd like a more seamless solution. Thanks in advance!

hi there, my app today doesn't want to load my shots. I can see they are there in the left column count but the screen stays black, theu don't show up. I tried rebooting my mac, nothing shows up. The ios version is very very slow too.  I am pretty disappointed here. 

Hi there, Bitdefender identifies these files as password-protected:  C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom CC\libde265.dat=>libde265.dll C:\adobeTemp\ETR7CEB.tmp\1\Adobe Lightroom\libde265.dat=>libde265.dll Are they supposed to be password-protected? Would you advise to keep the files or delete them?

I have been a happy LrC user for many years and rely heavily on the Print module of LrC.  I am trying out LR and wonder how LR users deal with the lack of a Print Module.  I am looking for a replacement for the LrC Print module that provide the same capabilities.  I am on a iMac running Sequoia 15.3.1 and have a Conon Pro-100 printer.

I have used Lightroom CC (version 6.5) for the last several years and amassed over 27,000 photos. The bulk of these are real estate, organized by property address; and construction photos, organized by project and capture dates.I wanted to move my artistic photos over to Lightroom Classic (version 12.5) because it has more and better editing features, so I set it up to synch with the cloud. I only wanted specific albums to synch, so I unlinked the others and removed them. I did not realize that removing them from LRC also removes the album from the cloud. All of my photos are still in LR CC, but they are not longer stored in albums. I'm certain that the albums are simply an index file. Is there any way to restore that index?I tried using Time Machine to restore an earlier version of my library, and for a moment, it appeared to work, but then the library strated syncing with the cloud and I was back to 27K photos and no albums.Is there a way to push to the cloud maybe?Thoughts? It is NOT HELPFUL that if you try to open a previously edited image ... particularly by drag-drop to Lightroom ... all that happens is a message: previously added.  With no option to just open the image for re-editing.   What you have to do is navigate into the Lightroom library.  Figure out what date the image was taken, and you better have the file name because you might have HUNDREDS of images imported to Lightroom that day.  Andy may of the images might be similar.   It is a time consuming effort to re-open and re-edit an image in Lightroom. 5 minutes wasted. Lightroom knows where the image is in the Library. JUST OPEN THE FILE!   Do not respond to this message by correcting the term: edit.  Everyone calls it editing.  Yes, Lightroom doesn't do destructive editing.  Focus on what this issue is complaining about.  The complete waste of time having to navigate through the Lightroom Library to re-open a previously worked image from MON

Hi. When I open Lightroom 2024, I can see in the Photos Tab 2 options, Cloud and Local. If I select Cloud, I can create a new album. If I select Local I can't create a new album. According to Adobe's website here: Add photos to Lightroom (adobe.com) I can create an album from my local files but I don't see any option to do this in my installation of Lightroom. Can anyone point out where I'm going wrong or at least tell me how I can submit a support ticket to Adobe. After all, I'm paying them for this software so at the very least I expect it to work as described. Thanks.Paul..

I click on an image in LR and go "Edit in photoshop". It just loads forever and won't open in photoshop. Why? 

Hallo zusammen, wenn ich an meinem Handy in der IOS Version Bilder in kleiner Auflösung (2048px) Downloaden möchte in die Fotos App wird erst wie im Screenshot zu sehen das Orginal geladen. Dadurch dauert der Vorgang sehr lange. In der Fotos App wird aber dennoch nur die 2048px Datei gespeichert. My lightroom has been running extremely slow and constantly in sync mode after making an version update. I cannot perform normal workflows or complete simple tasks. It freezes while I'm trying to sort through albums, make color and crop changes and rank photos. It's not performing properly. What can I do to resolve?!

I use a Macbook to edit photos for work. I had to relogin the other day and ALL of my photos and ALL of my presets are gone. I did not log into a different account on accident (I only have one account) and I did not accidently delete anything. I wasn't even logged on for over a week so that is not possible. What has happened?

I’m currently in the process of migrating a lot of my cloud stored photos to my local storage device and I’ve run into a couple issues. My main issue that I’m currently facing is when syncing my photos between Lightroom and my local storage it will save enhanced or in our images in a resolution or format that does not align with how it looks in actual Lightroom to be honest, I have no clue how to fix this nor away forward, but I’m hoping that this conversation may drum up some visibility on this issue.I wouldn't have an issue with this if the sync pushed the original raw photo to my PC and not the DNG but there is no option for this. If this can be implemented that would be swell and would save tons of time rippig the photos and deleting them as they are unusable.See the Left for the Normal Export and Rigt for Lightroom Sync Export
