I made 3000 sports shoots in heif, and only horizontal ones was imported to Lightroom catalog. Camera is a canon r6mk2.i really want to use heif to generate better jpg in the end. There’s anyway to make it happen?

Would you be able to help me? When I export some videos from Lightroom they don’t export the whole video they’ll only export like 10 seconds of it instead of the full like 2 minutes . Do you know how I could fix this?Two minute full length videos will only be exported with 10 seconds of footage or less

Hi just got a new iPhone we switched networks. I went to my LR APP and I have no photos ! Help if you can 

There is bug in the lightroom mobile application, where users can freely edit the premium presets and need not take the subscription. This is for both ios and android.You just have to perform one step after editing the pictures and in less than 1 sec your premium subscription based presets are applied freely for your images

Exporting film scans in jpg (large) creates a strange grid pattern within the grain structure of the film. Exporting with jpg (small) and original + settings both work as they should. Any ideas? Same issue happens on both mobile and desktop. Film is pushed hp5+ so the grain is very pronounced. I have seen suggestions of using noise reduction to combat this but I would rather not do that. Also, the possibility of lens corrections being the culprit can be ruled out here as there are no lens corrections active. The image has not received any editing besides a straighten.exported as jpg (large) exported as jpg (small)

I understand that up until somewhat recently there was no way to rename files / photos in Lightroom cloud-based, but now you can. This is great, but could anyone explain a bit how Lightroom is treating the new file names?When I rename my photos in Lightroom everything looks good, but I notice that the files are not renamed in Lightroom Classic, which I have synced. Edits, gps data, ratings etc are synced between Lightroom cloud-based and Lightroom Classic, but renaming the files are not. Or rather, if I rename the files in Classic it is synced to Cloud-based, but not the other way around. I’m just trying to figure out what is happening. My goal is to get rid of Classic completely, but there are still a couple of things standing in the way. Lack of Map module being the biggest issue. File handling being another one, but it's less of an issue the more I learn about it. 

Lightroom is laggy as hell, i need to close and re open the software everytime. Mask don't show, same for eraser. Sometimes it just crahs, i'm on a pc who can run easily all the adobe software, i don't understand. 

Is it possible to export / save photos (Jpegs as well as raw files) to my external drive without any settings joining in on the export? I more or less just want to get the original file down to my computer, without it being affected by any changes. I’ll write a short explanation of my desired workflow / setup to hopefully further explain what I’m looking for. I want to use Lightroom cloud-based only, without involving Lightroom Classic. I start by importing my photo files into Lightroom (synced to cloud). I then cull the photos, deleting anything I don’t want. The remaining photos I rename, using a name structure which I like. Those photos are automatically saved to a local backup, sure, but I want more manual control over the folder structure etc. So basically all I want to do is save / export / download those remaining, renamed files, to my external hard drive. Is export using Original + Settings the only way to do this? Or can you name another way which doesn’t include sidecar files

My personal Lightroom Cloud library (~20,000 photos) disappeared after I temporarily assigned my Adobe ID as an administrator in an organization through Admin Console.My Lightroom 1TB plan is active but storage dropped to ~40MB and Lightroom Web shows an empty library under both personal and organization profiles.Admin Console storage confirms the missing assets are not in the organization tenant.This appears to be a detached identity container after admin role change.Requesting escalation to Identity Engineering / Storage backend.This happened immediately after a temporary Admin Console administrator assignment.

Steps to reproduce:Image A: Use remove tool w/AI > Navigate to Image B by clicking with mouse and objects/masks from Image A remove process shows up on Image B.This is not an isolated situation. Current LR: V9.3.1 (20260429-1653-6cd29ca)Please see attached images

Sedan någon dag går det inte att redigera bilder på min Samsung S24 Ultra. Programmet startar och bilderna syns men när man ska redigera så händer inget. Jag ser menyraden men kommer inte åt inställningar. Appen står bara och snurrar.

  I need it more and more as I mainly shoot handheld and each photo is slightly offset, but it's not the same angle on each one to just copy paste the angle, and i didn't really find a way to copy that "auto" setting, only the angle resulted from auto straightening. Is there a way i am missing?

I am so fed up with the rubbish that is adobe. I haven’t been able to use adobe PROPERLY for over a year. It keeps saying I don’t have enough space but shows plenty of space. [abuse removed by moderator]

I keep getting this error: "Catch in IPhotoshopApplication, exception encountered: Failed to create enviroment config: photoshop_exception"  I do not know how to fix it ive tried to reinstall it as well as my video card driver and nothing seems to work for me. Any suggestions are welcome

My newly purchased laptop features with intel’s new CORE ULTRA X7 358H, Arc B390 iGPU. Lightroom simply cannot recognize the GPU and cannot use the hardware acceleration. When will the new hardware get support?

This would be helpful for product shots (i.e. lighters and torches) that need to be cropped to have the same product height as their previous photos.

I upgraded my phone to Google Pixel Pro 10 in January 2026. Have imported photos (.jpg) to library and begun to add metadata (titles etc - automatically saved to XMP). I have noticed on file explorer that these metadata are not appearing in the details pane whilst those added to photos from my camera (Sony A7 IV) do. Metadata added to my previous phone photos (Pixel 8) are also saved. When I check Properties, I have also noted that the Pixel 10 photos say they may be blocked as the file came from another computer. Checking the ‘unblock’ box doesn’t change things (and I don’t know how to do this in batch). What’s going on? Also, what’s with the xmp side car files? I am sure there is a simple fix. Search reveals stuff about HDR which I am not using. Please help. Thank you.
