Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Last winter I imported my entire LRC catalog into LR one year at a time using LRC export as a catalog.  Everthing seemed to go fine but I recently discovered some years have duplicate photos most with the same file number and file type.  I've been manually deleting the dups in my free time and so far I've deleted well over a thousand.   So, is there a way to find the dupicates in LR without having to manually scan each folder? All of the importing was done using my MAC M1.

I need major corporate help. I have been through about 9 employees already. 2 of them which didn't bother helping me. I need help recovering my lightroom data. I have over 8,000 photos. The story is my email used for the lightroom business profile.  This is no longer an active email address. I still have access to the adobe account.  Anyways, the customer service chat reps have taken me down this rabbit hole where I have to purchase a 1tb plan in order to move that data to my personal profile. I purchased the plan. So now in order to move the data, I need to respond to the email to give consent. The problem is that email address no longer exists. There is no way for me to access that email account because its erased from history. Gone. I even set up my secondary email in case that was sufficent. They just flat out said no, we can't transfer the data. So now im stuck, I am at a point where I want to give up. I have lost 3 years of hardwork because of this.

Hi! I would like to get your help as soon as possible!I just upgraded to the Adobe Lightroom premium plan. I already had photos added and edited in the free Lightroom Mobile app (IOS). However after upgrading, all my photos disappeared. Where did they go? Did they get deleted? Can I retrieve them?

Installed June 2024 mobile update on iPhone 14 Pro Max. Cannot import any presets, every xml preset I try fails, zipped or unzipped. I can export a preset from mobile, that works. If I remove it from LR and try to import it back in it fails.

I recieved a preset file in the ".zip" format, how can I import this into Lightroom (not lightroom classic). I have not been able to succesfully convert zip to dng ever so if you have suggestions let me know. I am using chromebook btw

I downloaded a massive directory of more than 1000 photos off my cloud. It was organized infolders, sub folders, sub folders, and then photos. I placed the directory into the same directory I was already using with LR, but LR says it cannot find any editable files in the folders. If I take the last sub folder and place it into the parent directory, LR will read it, but it will not read it with any more sub folders ahead of it. What's going on? What is it about these folders that is preventing lighroom from seeing what's inside, while being able to view the entire folder tree? It shows every folder but can't see the pictures inside. Makes no sense to me.

Does anyone know how to export photos in batches using the cloud based lightroom?

A (hopefully) straightforward question: I'm syncing a bunch of photos from my local drive to Lightroom cloud. Once done, if I delete the local photos, will this delete the ones in the Cloud? 

Why does Cretive Cloud installed on my Imac (with Sonoma 14.5) open Lightroom version 2.4.1 and not the latest one?

I'm about halfway through a stage series I shot, and the denoise feature worked great for a while, but now it just does nothing.  There's no error message, the other features continue working as expected, and the denoise process appears to do its usual thing, but the preview shows no change regardless of the settings, and the process indicator immediately jumps to 95 of 100 and never finishes the task.  I've waited hours for a single photo with no result (it previously took about 45 seconds to denoise a photo).  All the steps are the same; it's just not doing anything. I've checked for updates, restarted my computer, and checked my storage settings.  The files are all .NEFs.  I can't think of any settings that have changed.  Thoughts?

I got thousands of photos with thousands of keywords tagged in Lightroom Classic  - unfortunately these do not synch with Lightroom . Seems like a MAJOR bug to me. Can anyone help, please?

I still have 2 issues with Lightroom - 1 in desktop (CC?) and 1 in classic. Both were updated today! Windows 11 machine. In desktop, (I use Canon shooting raw) when I edit a .cr3 file, I go to Denoise and use that before doing anything else. In Classic, when this step is complete the program then changes to the .dng file which has denoise applied to it. In Desktop, it does NOT. You have to manually choose the .dng file. For me, that makes no sense and I find myself doing edits to a file that has NOT has denoise applied to it. Am I missing something or is this something that can be fixed? Problem 2 is one that occurs in classic but NOT in desktop. When using denoise thru desktop the file while doing the denoise process has no flashing or anything, but in classic, when doing the same thing on the sames files on the same system during the denoise process the picture will flash to varying degrees.Both files will estimate 10 seconds. I was working in Lightroom and must have accidentally hit a wrong button because now all of my photos have white borders. They don't export that way so it must not be actually a part of the photo but simply something wrong with the View settings. I've looked everywhere in the program and tried to research it but am unsure of how to remove the borders. On a sepereate note but that occurred at about the same time, in the Editing tab my program suddenly only lets me have one subsection open at a time meaning I can't have Light, Color, Effects, etc. all open at once to quickly edit photos. When I open one it automatically closes another. I'm wondering why this is. 

A few days ago, I built a new computer for myself.   MSI B650 motherboardRyzen 9 7900X3D CPURadeon RX 6700 XT GPU64 GB memoryWin11 Home EditionI tried installing the newest version of Lightroom (v 7.3), and it kept crashing within a few seconds of me opening the program.  All I've been able to do is scroll through an album or two before it quits.  I receive no error message. After several tech support sessions with Adobe (remote) over a period of about 9 hours today, the best they could do is have me download Lightroom 5.0 and tell me that they've done everything they can.  They didn't see the problem with me having a 3 year old version of Lightroom on my computer.  They said I should wait a while and try downloading the next version again. Since all of my photos up to this point have been edited using newer versions, I keep getting a warning message that says that I will lose any non-supported edits made on newer versions if I try to edit t

The iPad app is amazing, but im trying to find some file management app on iPad that recognises the tagged pictures I have locked in camera. Such a simple feature that would allow us to import only the tagged shots instead of trying to find them in the middle of the import window.any solution? All best

Hi,Would like to see more bulk editing options. Selecting 400 photos and hitting "auto" to jazz them up in one hit when you're feeling lazy or time poor. Cheers

For one of my images which was definitely shot on a digital camera, the Info pane is showing metadata for a different image I scanned from film. The film/digital detail isn't important other than to point out this is not a misundertanding or user error.

Hello everyone,I'm currently using Lightroom version 7.3 from the App Store on my Mac, and I'm encountering a problem when trying to export my photos. I receive the following error message:"You are not allowed to save files in '/Users/thibaultpichon/Desktop/'."I've already adjusted my Mac settings to give Lightroom full access to my internal drive, and I've changed the permissions for this folder so that everyone has access. Despite these changes, I'm still unable to export my photos. Has anyone else experienced this issue, or does anyone have suggestions on how to resolve it?Thank you in advance for your help!Thibault

Lightroom is opening and then immediately disappearing on your Mac. i log in Creative Cloud Desktop.
