Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Hi! I need help. I created a mask in the masking panel and in the overlay options I chose "image on black" as shown in the above screenshot. However these adjustments dissappear when I switch to editing panel and doesn't show in exported file. How do I get the chages I made applied to the final image? (this is what I get when I go back to edit panel)

Hi There,  I'm having some issues with Lightroom uploads to the cloud. I am a sports and wildlife photographer and I can get my photos into Lightroom no problem, however, over the last couple of weeks, it has been taking way too long for photos to upload from the app to the cloud. I have mobile data and WiFi selected because I'm not worried about data usage and even when in full LTE coverage it can tape upwards of 2 hours to upload photos to the cloud and ONLY IF I have the app open and don't let the screen go dim.  Have tried force closing app, deleting app and reinstalling, logging out and logging back in. I can't be the only one to have this issue am I? 

I recently got a new Mac and am trying to move my presets from my older Mac to this new one. When I export them to a drive and import them in Lightroom in my new computer, they say they have been imported but they don't all appear. Much of what I found for solutions are for Lightroom Classic and the one option I found for 7.4 to uncheck 'hide partially compatible presets' and restarting the app didn't yield any results. I read that it could be issues with the profiles associated with the presets but haven't found where to address that issue at either. Any help is appreciated!

Hi all! I'm new to the Adobe Creative Cloud. I bought a subscription for the photography plan last month, and I installed Photoshop and Lightroom (the cloud-based one). Long story short my Macbook Air M1 (which is not the fastest but also not the slowest laptop on the market) is severely slowed down when I use Lightroom. It happens when I have multiple masks on the same photo and I'm adjusting some settings: it doesn't freeze completely, but it significantly slows down my laptop, causing delays of several seconds between actions. My system monitor shows about 80% usage of the RAM, while the CPU and the GPU do not work at all: they reach about 25% and then drop down, and then go up again, but they never stick to a stable level. They seem to just give to the RAM all the job. My M1 Mac is currently running MacOS Sonoma 14.5Lightroom is running the 7.4.1 version and Adobe CC is on 6.0.3.207 Please let me know what I need to do in order to make it work fine.Thanks i

The Lightroom App on iPad has a real problem with sync issues. The only way I have found to get the sync errors to go away is to copy a setting and apply it to an entire album - then instantly all of the sync issues are solved. I thought one of the main items that was solved in this latest update was the sync. Apparently not. Back to the drawing board? Or are we just going to give up on sync?

I made an in-app purchase in Adobe lightroom mobile to use the premium features but it doesn't work, tried to restore purchase, even tried re-subscribing but to no avail. this same thing happened last month as well, I had to wait a whole month to try subscribing again only to encounter this same problem. complained last month after encountering this problem but no one in the app development team did jack. 

Hi all, I got images of faces that I would like to to a colour mask on (using the mask function in lightroom), then manipulate the colour using the CIELAB colour space? Is this possible at all? This is for a research project so the values need to be very precise. I also need to apply multiple masks (160 in one experiment) to the same photo (participants will see one mask at a time), and the experiment will include 50 different images each with multiple masks, is there a way to automate this (e.g., link lightroom to MATLAB or something similar)? Kind Regards,Anna 

For example, I tried to make a layer mask for just the sky in a photo, but then the colors glitched out everywhere, including the plane, which wasn't even selected. I'm not overheating, running out of RAM, or something like that. I'll give my specs below, maybe that can help. CPU: Intel I5-12500GPU: AMD 6800XTRAM: Corsair 32 GB 3600 MHzWindows 11Lightroom Version 7.4.1Also running a 4K monitor if that matters 

Hi all, I have noticed this issue long time ago, but only now it became a problem for me: recently I have upgraded to 1TB since I have a very busy photography season starting next month. I hoped to come back home from a photoshoot, import all images to my iPad Pro, and get them all online by the morning. However, as soon as my screen dims/locks, all upload stops. I unlock teh screen - it starts again. And so is on iPad 2021 pro and iPhone 13 pro. As far as I remember, even on BLackberry I had such issues with syncing - screen is off? -  no syncing.  Would you know how to resolve this? The tech support said maybe it is the network, but I am working on teh go, I travel the Europe, I am connecting to different networks, wi-fi etc. The issue is observed everywhere. I did enable "Background App Refresh" in the settings of the iPad. I did enable "Prevent from sleep" in LR CC. What else I should do to get LR CC working while teh screen is off? Hallo zusammen,  ich habe eben zum ersten Mal einen Lightroom-Classic Katalog in Lightroom migriert. Es hat soweit alles problemlos funktioniert, nachdem ich alle klassischen Fehler (zu wenig Cloud Speicherplatz, zu wenig Speicherplatz auf der lokalen Festplatte) durchhatte. Auch die Meldung zum Schluss war positiv, indem ich 901 erfolgreich migrierte Dateien mitgeteilt bekommen habe. Dann habe ich den Katalog auch als Album finden können in Lightroom, allerdings mit 0 Dateien. Was habe ich falsch gemacht? Ich danke für eure Hilfe! 

I purchased the Lightroom Premium Option a while ago, it worked once - since then i can't use it, even if i am paying for it and my subscription has not expired yet.It is loading and loading and not working at all. I already deinstalled the app and canceled my subscription, reinstalled it and purchased the premium version again and it still hasn't worked since the very first day!Very bad experience, can't recommend. 

I can no longer import videos from an SD card in Lightroom Mobile on my iPad. I’m running Lightroom version 9.1.0 on iPad OS 17.2. I am able to import photos from a connected SD card, but the videos on the SD card don't even show up. Can anyone help with suggestions on how can I import photos & videos together again via the Lightroom Mobile app from an SD card? I have a workaround, but it requires downloading all files onto my iPad prior to importing into Lightroom. I was last able to do a combined photo/video import from an SD card in late November 2023.   Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I'm running into dead ends with Adobe support. Thanks! 

Moving film strip to either left or right side of Lightroom CC layout. Is that possible or am I stuck with it on the bottom and can not move?

hey, this is my first time posting so idk if this is the right place to post but I thought id put this on here. I've been doing photography for over 2 years now so I know how to use Lightroom quite well but there's one thing I've never figured out, so I download my photos of SD cards (the proper san disk ones, the best you can get I think) and on a few of my pictures they don't show up and it's just a white background with weird pink lines, I've got no idea what this is and my cameras not to old, and sd cards are all pretty new and it happens on all my sd cards, should I buy a new sd card converter maybe?? I'm editing photos taken back in 2005 and for each photo I'm getting "Legacy Settings: This photo contains settings that need to be updated before it can be edited.  Note that this may cause visible changes to the photo."  Rather than doing this one at a time to 1000s of photos, is there a was to perform that update  on large batches of photos? 

I have a Mac with a small HD, is there any way I can use the cloud to edit and store images, without using any Mac HD space    

Hi,    in my private account, I managed to work with Lightroom CC perfectly.  But in May I started a new job and for that account, on my business laptop I fail to see my local folders as well as a album I created on the mobile app.  Any advice, what the problem could be?   Thanks!

As you can see on the attached video, toggling masks visibility behaves badly, when GPU acceleration is disabled. (and I have it disabled due to ongoing issue https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-ecosystem-cloud-based-discussions/choppiness-when-dragging-zoomed-in-photo-on-gpu/m-p/14631373#M91236). After clicking mask visibility toggle, the picture is not updated until I move the mouse over to the name of the mask.When toggling all masks visibility by pressing and holding the eye icon, picture is not updated immediately on the mouse press or release, and only on mouse move or another press/depress. This renders the exactly opposite effect (when mouse button is pressed down, masks are visible, when it's not pressed, masks are not visible). Small, but annoying issue.When GPU acceleration is enabled it works properly.

Mac OS Sonoma 14.5Lightroom 7.4.1 Im looking to move from LR C to LR I'm looking to cull a great deal of my images and in essence start again from scratch without migrating my catalogue. I've started to tidy my folders up that were date based within year to one folder with each years images in. I've tested this and on the folder that is now containing all the images from the year containing only about 30 images only one image is shown. There are no filters present and all the images are in the folder when using finder. Any ideas?

So I've been using Lightroom for many years and never encountered any issues like this but I've been having this issue lately and it's driving me nuts! I have looked for an answer on this community and Google but to no avail after trying many things... So what is happening is I edit my pictures how I like but then the picture becomes over exposed in the filmstrip and when I export the picture, in detail mode the picture is the way I want it. I made a test and opened the file from my cloud account into Lightroom on the web and the pictures is also overexposed on the web in detail mode, so I'm able to fix the over exposure on the web, which is giving an extra step for no reason as I should be able to do it all in the app. Attached are printscreen showing what I mean one for the app, one for preview and one for Lightroom web. So my question is how would I go about fixing this? Would uninstalling Lightroom fix the issue? The weirdest part is when I come back to the edited picture in the fl

 "The system does not save the changes, and the download is also very slow. If I want to modify anything, I have to wait 10 minutes."

I can't seem to find an easy way to backup and sync my entire photo library on Lightroom Cloud to an external local drive connected to my MacBook. Sometimes when I travel, there is poor internet, and Lightroom mobile is of no use. I then need to be able to access the photos from an external drive. Thanks for any help.
