Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

In my workflow I edit pictures in Lightroom and then open them in Photoshop. Unfortunately I always get an error message "cannot open Photoshop" on my new CoPilot+ Microsoft Surface Pro 11 (Windows on Arm) and the picture will not open in PS. It's really a pity as otherwise the Surface Pro is really great for editing on the go. Are there any walk arounds?

When I use the Masking fiture I can't find the "Select Object" or "Select Sky" In Lightroom mobile 8.2.3

Hello, there. I'm not sure if this is a bug or if it's just me not understanding something. I'm somewhat new to photo editing and started using Lightroom CC without any understanding of how it syncs your work over the Cloud. As someone who is used to saving their work directly to their laptop, I didn't pay any attention to my cloud storage, which has rapidly filled up and I believe this is causing major performance issues for me. I "permanently deleted" a massive amount of RAW photos via Lightroom CC (version 7.5) and the amount of "used storage" hasn't gone down at all. I've looked all over Creative Cloud, and none of the photos are anywhere to be seen outside of Lightroom. My problem is that Lightroom CC won't let me export my photos to my external drive (every time I try, the export loading bar comes up and stays put without ever progressing), and it does the same thing when I try to use the "Edit In Photoshop" feature on individual photos. Can someone please help me? I renewed my subscription back in March 2024. None of the extra features work. It says my subscription has expired but it has not. I tried signing out and signing back in but it still doesn't work. Any ideas?   (Thread title edited by Moderator)

 

I want export my photos to JPEG XL, I have set the resolution 300 dpi. But my exported photos will be just 72 dpi.Why? What could be the error? 

BuenasDesde hace un tiempo, la funcion de desplazamientro horizontal en la seccion marca de agua está deshabilitado en mi app, me dijeron que borrara la cahce, lo hice y no pasa nada, despues desinstale y lo volvi a instalar pero el problemas perciste. La app esta actualizda creo, ya que no me aparece actualizaciones pendientes o nuevas. Si me pueden ayudar por favor, quedo atento. 

When I export as DNG from Mobile and save to Apple Photos, all appears fine until a few minutes later the file loses all editing I have done in LightRoom. Has anyone else experienced this? As you can see, it even loses lens correction.Any help greatly appreciated.

Lightroom Mobile Version 9.50 Os: Android   I am am not sure if this is a bug but whenever I hold on the screen of my tablet while adjusting the radius of the image I want to sharpen it just comparing it to the "before" or the raw image instead of having the image on black and white and select the areas I wanted to sharpen.   This feature is available on the iOs version.   Thank you

I'm having issues with shooting raw with the iPhone 13 Pro in Lightroom Mobile. Whenever I try to take a macro wide shot using the wide lens it doesn't save at all when I'm in DNG mode but as soon as focus further back it does work. Seems like some weird bugs going on with the ultra wide angle raw on Lightroom Mobile.    {title modified by Moderator; the issue is not specific to one generation of iPhone macro camera}

After making a SKY, SUBJECT and INVERT SKY mask and editing each an attempt to remove the item attached failed as shown. IF I remove PRIOR to these masks it works OK....

I'm using Lightroom Mobile on an iPad M4. Since i use hat device I have problems importing Images from my Fuji in a reliable way.I tried several ways -> with different card readers directly, to the files app and from there etc. My problem is that I only have a 50% import rate. Just now im tried to import 109 Images in the HIF format. 1 failes directly at the import window with an error. The other 108 seemed to be imported but after the long import process of Lightroom has fnished it said that 51 images were imported and the others are not supported. They are the same images from a series of today from the same card, the same camera and the same settings. Why? It is not even random, no matter how often I try, the same images will fail. Everytime I have to use my Macbook to import them and work with them because imported on a mac the images are perfectly fine... I hate it.

Sometimes when using the masking brush, my photo moves, so I am not able to highlight the selected area. This is in lightroom mobile.

Yesterday I reached "the end of my rope" with LR Mobile.  I posted a one star review and then deleted the app.  Today a developer very kindly responded and asked me to come here and provide more information, so here we go.I have had this issue with LR Mobile for many years over several devices.  I occasionally try again hoping it has improved, but I always get the same results.  If I take one or more pictures with the LR Camera, the app goes into the synching mode and stays there for HOURS on end.  It might, after many hours, finally complete uploading the photos.  I said yesterday out of frustration that it never completes; that is inaccurate, it just takes hours to do so.  My goal in using the LR Camera is to be able to quickly get photos to my desktop computer where I can do serious editing on my large, calibrated monitor.  As I said yesterday, I'm not going to "edit" photos with my finger on a tiny screen.  The hours of delay preclude me

I am thrilled that Lightroom imports my photos from iphoto when it syncs, but recently, it has started importing two exact copies for every photo, they even have the same file name. I do have the "avoid dupicates" option checked in the import box, but that concerns photos that one is manually importing. Is there a setting somewhere that I am missing?

Hello, I’m considering buying an ipad air soon as I don’t have access to my main computer and LR classic for months. I have few questions before getting an ipad : Can I open photos (.NEF and .DNG) on the ipad and LR read the .xmp and all the parameters from my USB-C hard drive ? (not the LR catalog, only photos on case by case) I’m shooting more and more films and I have TIFF scans 16bits that are smth like 60mo up to 150mo ; can the ipad and LR handle that ? (I don’t mind to take a coffee and wait for exports…) What will be the limitation of ipad + LR compared t LR classic and a computer ? What have you experienced ? At the end of that period I will move back to my computer so I wonder how the transition from the ipad to the desktop computer will be ? How not to loose all development ? Will the solution be to import all in LR on the ipad and then sync it on LR Classic when back in my studio ? (does the full file get uploaded on the cloud ?) Than

I don't know what I do wrong, I did everything, reset, reinstall whatever! but Lightroom won't use the intended folder assigned for the chance!

Necesito ayuda, compré hace poco lightroom y lo instalé en mi laptop pero intento editar algunas fotografías y no me deja utilizar la herramienta reducción de ruido y desenfoque de lente, está demasiado lento, se queda generando DNG mejorada pero no avanza másde 95%, dice algo ha salido mal y luego se cierra lightroom, llevo toda la tarde intentando encontrar una solución.  Ya restablecí las preferencias y también realicé una instalación limpia y nada, sigue pasando lo mismo. Mi laptop es una Acer Nitro 5, Intel Core i5, Nvidia Geforxe RTX y está casi nueva, llevo aproximadamente 5 meses de uso. Agradecería mucho una ayuda❤️

No photo "Synced and Backed up", but storage space shows 3.5gb occupied.... UPDATE Now 4.3gb 😞I have no Deleted pictures in the Bin... any idea on how to fix this?

When I am finished editing.I do not want to say they copy.I want to say that over the original.So I always have one copy

When I work in lightroom, all is normal for about an hour and then it starts to pixelate the photos i am working on.
