Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

On the crop page I used to be able to choose a crop ratio, and it would stick to that. After the latest update I can no longer see that. This makes it _really_ hard to get a correct 1:1 ratio. How can I set a 1:1 ratio after the latest update? 

I just installed and paid for a subscription on Lightroom for iPad. When I want to add photos from Apple Photo, that's greyed out as an option. I checked on my iPad that Privacy and other settings allows "All Photos" in Lightroom, but that doesn't help. Nor does deleting and reinstalling the LR iPad app. What am I doing wrong? Thank you. 

Help, I accidentally deleted my watermark option on Lightroom and have no idea how to get it back! Any suggestions?

Advice welcomed: I will get a new Macbook Pro in a couple of days and hope to organized and store things in a more organized manner that I had been previously on my current, aging iMac.  I have been using Lightroom Classic on my iMac, but am considering using Lightroom CC going forward with the new laptop. The laptop will have 1 TB and I have an external with 2 TB.  I hope to store the majority of my images on the external and try not to even come close to filling up the laptop's 1 TB.  The questions are, how would YOU set things up from the beginning? Do I switch to the cloud version for the laptop and continue using Classic on my iMac when I edit from there? What are some considerations I might not be thinking about?  

Hello, everyone,I always have the situation that I spontaneously show the family current photos with Lightroom Mobile on my iPad, e.g. the pictures from the last vacation.I think most Lightroom users use their library for this.Now the viewer starts swiping to the left, right, up and down and, since he is not familiar with the Lightroom program, adjusts my star ranking, sets flags, etc.I get a heart attack every time Grandma changes my ratings or even rejects the picture. 🙂What I would really like, would be a simple "child lock" where you can completely deactivate all editing functions, i.e. safe browsing and viewing of the photos is possible when children and grandma are browsing through the albums. Does such a function already exist? I've searched all possible settings but found nothing like this. The slide show doesn't help me here, because you jump through the pictures randomly and look at the pictures for different lengths of time.I would be very happy about your ideas! If

Every time I open lightroom I get the message :Can't connect to serverlightroom is having trouble connecting to server. please try again laterwith 2 options (sign out and ok), when I click ok the program shut down !I have lightroom version 6.0 

I’d like to migrate from LrC to Lr in the cloud. My catalog has about 65.000 photos.Migration failed after 30% of migration process - frozen screen.I had to restart my Mac and started again. Now the migration is running already 5 days. Nothing changed the last 3 days. Lr is synching with the cloud, no other message or status indicator. Lr shows a total number of 58.800 photos although no previews can be seen on the right side. Regarding the total number 6.200 photos are missing. The names of the albums appear on the left side but every album has 0 photos. Is there any way to do the migration process again although Lr migrates a catalog only once? Any recommendations how to proceed? Newest versions of SW are installed: LrC V.12,  LR V.6, iMac OS Version Ventura.My internal hard drive has enough space (1 TB free). Thanks for any help.

I'm thinking of getting an iPad 10 Generation. 64 Gb. Is it possible to install ipade Lightroom and photoshop?

I've got an album that I want to sort by File Name which works fine on Desktop, but the order is wrong on mobile. Does anyone know how to get them to match?On desktop the order is:1.jpg2.jpg3.jpgetc On mobile the order is:1.jpg10.jpg2.jpgetc

I am using MacBook Pro, Mac OS Monterey and the subscription (newest) version of PhotoShop and Lightroom (NOT Classic). All the tutorials I have seen (not many for LR Cloud version) show that when you take a photo from LR to edit in PS, when you are done editing you just click "Save" and it automatically saves your edited photo back to LR. Most of the time while it looks like it is saving, the edited photo does not show up in LR.  Other times I get a "Tiff Options" box with selections for Image Compression, Pixel Order, Byte Order and Layer Compression???How do I simply save my PS edited photo back to LR?

Hey guys.  I just switched from using lr on my iPad to a desk top. all is going well except one thing. so I'm doing the 9.00 dollar subscription so I can use it on desktop as well as mobile.   In my library of photos I can't get the meds data in the thumbnails. Shutter speed, iOS and stuff. when i look on my iPad it's all there but not on the windows based lr.   I have no 3 dots in the right corner with view on it. is it just available? Hello All, I hope you can help.  I archive and support artists with their images.   I have just been handed a hard drive with thousands of images.  None of them have a file extension.  Lightroom will not import an image without a .tif, or a .jpg, or some other extension.  If I add a .tif, Lightroom happily recognises it. Can anyone tell me how to import the images (I believe they are all scanned .tifs) into lightroom? Thank you for any help Hugh  

Tenho o Lightroom Android V 7.4.1 e não consigo mais importar fotos do meu aparelho ou do Google fotos. Até dois dias atrás estava normal. E não aparece mensagem de erro. Só não importa mais as fotos. 

I can find ample instruction on how to move a Lightroom Classic catalog, but nothing on how to change the default location of the Lightroom catalog. This is the issue: I've moved the Lightroom catalog (or Lightroom CC, or Lightroom Ecosystem, or whatever they want to call it today) to an external hard drive. I've opened the Lightroom app by clicking on that file, but when I close the app and click the Lightroom app itself to see if the app will look for the catalog in the new location, it simply recreates a partial catalog in the original location (which is under my /Pictures/ folder on my Mac). How can I change the default location for the Lightroom catalog? Note: I'm not looking to change where Creative Cloud downloads/stores the various Adobe apps.

I updated my iOS and my Lightroom app in my phone and now none of my pics in the library will let me click anything. All the buttons are grayed out. I also cannot reimport them because it will default to skipping the duplicate and it will not export them. This is why I hate updates ughhhh, can someone please help?! I have a time sensitive deadline I need my images for and I need to access them out of pocket on my phone. 

Whe I move the edit handle tools in LR nothing happends to the image! I have contacted Adobe support three times but the asisstents can't solve the problem! They have disable the Graphic Processor, let me start LR with shift+alt and also change something in the library/registry (?).Sometimes the tools in LR works for a short while, then they are locked again!I use LR ver. 6.0 and Windows ver. 11.

My Creative Cloud storeage is full.  I want to delete files but when I go to Creative Cloud Files -> Creative Cloud documents, there is only one image file in there.  Same applies when I go to Adobe.assets on line.  Any ideas?

Has anyone encountereed an issue where LR is asking to renew even though they have paid a yearly subscription via Microsoft Store? I am starting to regret this decision. I am on windows and Android...Both are asking for renewal even though a yearly sub amount was paid this year....This is what I see when I open on Windows... It doesn't allow me to edit or import files... I have wasted months in a subscription I can't use. I spent hours on chat with MS to no avail. Not Happy.  Any ideas? 

Hi Community 😉Past weekend i finally took the decision to migrate my entire photo library from Lightroom Classic.  From a size perspective you need to know i'm migrating approx 885GB of pictures (a bit more than 109.000) located in 726maps. My desktop has been running since past Sunday non-stop in order to load all my photos to the cloud. is there a way on how to follow up where lightroom is in the process of uploading. .... because what i see for the moment is that for all those 726 maps a blue circle is spinning round ..... but i don't have a clue what has already been done and what's todo.Thanks for feedback/reflections or ideas to speed up this process.Regards, Philippe

I have just tried to cancel my Photography plan as I am no longer using it. I have found that despite being just 26 days into this plan (which auto-renewed without my knowledge!) I am due to be charged a £50+ early cancellation fee.   I am very unhappy about this. I was not aware my subscription would auto renew, and especially not that I would be charged a fee. What am I being charged for, exactly??? I can see no way this charge is justified in either a business or ethical sense.   I am also unable to speak to anyone about this as Adobe doesn't offer any contact details other than this forum.   Please can someone from the Adobe customer service team contact me about this.
