Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

There's not much more too it. The histogram freezes if you make any adjustments too quickly. It remains frozen until you stop making changes or you slow down sufficiently. In the event that this bug is difficult to reproduce, I suspect, as I have speculated before, that this may be another bug that is related to the unusually low performance I'm experiencing on my rather powerful machine, an issue that consistently gets me radio silence from Adobe, whenever I press for more details (see this and this).

Hello Adobe Community / Support Team, I’m at my wit’s end after spending more than an hour trying to fix this issue. I have a Lightroom Cloud album (“wedding aileen y Preston…”) of 1,125 images. On my iPad, it’s correctly sorted by capture date, but when I try to share via the web interface, Lightroom automatically reverts to a Custom Order that I cannot modify — no matter what I try.Steps I’ve tried:1. On iPad Lightroom• Tap the sort icon (≡) → choose Custom• Long‑press and drag one photo somewhere else, then drag it back — no change• Even restarted the app—nothing happens 2. On Lightroom Web/Desktop• Clicked the “sort by” (≡) menu, saw options: Capture date, Import date, Modified date, File name, Custom [with Edit link], Reverse order• Tried switching to Capture Date, but after setting it and sharing, the album immediately reverted to the old Custom Order• Tried editing Custom order (drag‑drop via web), but nothing sticks After switching away from Custom → sharing → al

With my Sony Camera, the Adaptative Color profile works just fine and it is great. But with my iPhone 12 DNG files (from LR Camera of from another camera app), colors are completely off with weird artifacts. The following is the result when adaptive color profile is applied to a regular and an HDR file from the Adobe LR Camera app.   The same pictures renders properly with the regular Adobe Color profile :  Sorry but I cannot enclose the OG DNG files because I get an error when doing so :  

Hello, for some time now, I have not been able to add photos in Lightroom version 8.4. The button to add is gray and cannot be clicked. I also cannot see photos that were already in Lightroom, and it takes a very long time to turn it off. Photoshop works normally. I have the official version from the package for individual users with 1TB of cache, and I am running on Windows 11. I reinstalled the application, tried older versions, logged in again, and nothing helps. I had a similar problem some time ago, and after a few days it fixed itself, but I cannot wait a week every time to process photos, and in Lightroom, I have presets that I need. What can I do about it?

While I am aware this is a very old post- I am having this exact issue with the newest version of Lightroom. I can't batch paste even a single edit setting because it gets caught on random photos. Works perfectly until it hits a certain photo which it won't continue unless it is removed. However this is not only occurring with one image but instead several and I can not remove them all. 

Frage: Ist es möglich, in Lightroom für iOS/iPadOS und in Lightroom Web die bereits vergebenen Stichwörter zu verwalten? Z.B. ein schon vergebenes Stichwort umzubenennen oder zu löschen?

In the past, I was able to batch edit hundreds of photos at once through the AI Enhance feature to denoise images. In my line of work, I generally have thousands of photos that need this enhancement, so having it run through the night as I slept is what kept me working at a good pace. However, with the new Lightroom Update, whenever I attempt to Batch AI a group of photos it consistently freezes and halts the process anywhere after 1-80 photos are done. Is there a way to get this fixed? Is there a new update coming out soon that will take care of this?

I have been running Lr (Not CC) on my iMac for awhile. I bought a Mac Mini m4 because I want to use some apps with LR that the iMac can't handle, so I want to move my Lr as it is (meaning folders, albums, presets, etc) to the Mini. I need help with that. I can also use help with picking the right settings/preferences for Lr in its new environment.I appreciate all help, and thanks in advance.

Hi there - I'm going to be travelling for four weeks without an internet connection this summer and I want to be able to back up the images that I will download from my camera and import into lightroom mobile on my ipad. I'd like to back up the raw files and also the sidecar files (containing the develop settings applied to the raw files) on a 1TB USB stick in case anything happens to the ipad while I'm out in the wilds. Can anyone tell me: a) If this is possible, andb) How I go about doing this?   Many thanks, Matthew

So I have an issue i never noticed until i started portrait work but looking back at other photos it does it with them now aswell.My computer screen shows them exactly how my camera took them i shoot in RAW and I then upload to Lightroom and with NO EDITS, this is how they look so different. yet if i make an edit or even export them from lightroom the colours go back to what they are in the file not what Lightroom is showing so to edit, i have to export 50 times and keep making small edits to see how it is going to come out. i have included a screenshot of Lightroom and my pc files thumbnails so you can see what i mean. it changes the colour totally. it isn't a screen issue, as you can see it is only in Lightroom.  i appreciate absolutely any ideas anyone has, as this is so frustrating not being able to do my work on the pc properly and having to use my phone to see real updates on edits.  

For a few hours now, when editing a photo in HDR, my pixel 9a has gone from working without any problems to saying that my device is not compatible.

The following are listed in importance to me from most to least. #1.  Denoise and Super Resolution...  I greatly appreciate that the app does not create a separate dng file which greatly improves on maximizing disk space.  But have these two work one or the other is frustrating.  Would be great to be able to do both.  Also Super Resolution only doubles the pixels.  Would be nice to have 2x, 3x, 4x. #2.  Printing support much like Lightroom Classic.  I own a Canon PRO 300 and edit photographs for the intent to print them. #3.  Histogram, its nice that you can display it in the top right corner just like Lightroom Classic but its missing the ISO, focal length, aperture and shutter speed info.  So i have to constantly swith between info view and edit view. #4.  Info Overlay option in top left corner of screen just like Lightroom Classic can show it. #5.  Virtual Copy otion when using Local Storage.

Hello everyone, thanks for reading.Let's say I decrease the saturation of a photo by 90.If I then select a specific area using the mask tool and increase the saturation by 90, will the final result in that area be the same as before any changes were made? And if I reduced the overall saturation by 90, then selected with the masking tool, for example, a yellow jacket. Then proceed to the yellow slider and increase the saturation by 90.Will the yellow components of that jacket be the same before making any changes?Is this the answer always the same with contrast, texture, sharpness etc?I am very proficient with the program, but I don't know the answer to this yet. I updated Lightroom CC a few days ago and today I am using the masking brush since the first time since the update.  It's kind of a disaster,  in Mask mode, the brush tool zooms in unexpectedly at the start of each of my brush strokes and then immediately zooms back out. This is causing my brush to cut through parts of the image that are already masked. Every click it zooms in and zooms out. I am a professor of photography and teach lightroom, so it's not user error!  This is a new bug that only showed up with the new options for Super Resolution and Distraction Removals.  I do have super-resolution added to the image that I am working on, so I am guessing the bug has something to do with that.   I have to try to click on an an empty area (hard to do when zoomed in) so that the quick zoom in and out doesn't drag my brush through an existing mask. I often have to immediately undo the brushstroke and try again.  It is VERY annouying and t

Lighroom Creative Cloud 8.4(latest version) in Windows11Lighroom Creative Cloud seems to have an issue with my Nvidia Rtx 3050 6GB dGPU, but only in Creative Cloud,which I prefer using. It might be an Nvidia issue maybe you can clear this for me. When I let the performance from preferences on AUTO or HIGH PERFORMANCE, I can see photos in Detail and Compare,but as soon as I click on Square Grid or Photo Grid,it either doesn't show anything(greyed out as per screenshot)or the program crashes.Also if I select a photo from Detail and try to edit it,program is extremely sluggish and slow,doesn't change exposure in real-time for example.On the other hand,using a tool like Denoise works great and takes less than 20 seconds which is great.This obviously uses the dGPU  If I switch the performance on Power Saving(or disable the Nvidia Gpu from Device Manager in win10),all issues dissappear because the system uses the integrated Iris Xe graphics.But I can't use tools like Denoise b

Hello and a happy new year,I'm trying to download my Lightroom photos with Lightroom downloader, Version 1.0.5-20220504.116-64f8d2b. My photo library contains ~69k photos with a total size ~ 890GB.When I start Lightroom downloader, after giving a brief summary of the library, it starts with 'initializing download...'. The UI shows the name of the file processed at a rate of 1 file per second. That would be an estimate of ~19h for all 69k photos. After 36h I stopped the downloader, reboot my MacBook Air M1 and started again.There is no indication nor estimation of the overall process. I'm missing a bit logging and documatation on how i can estimate a download of a large photo library. My conclusion now is that the downloader is buggy as it takes ages for the download of a moderate photo library. Does anyone have ideas or can point to proper documentation? Thanks in advance, Claus

Schaltet man in Windows 11 unter Systemeinstellungen Bildschirm HDR ein werden die Cloud Dateien von Lightroom nicht mehr geladen . Lightroom funktioniert nicht mehr ! Schaltet man HDR in den Systemeinstellungen Windows 11 ab geht alles wieder normal.Hat jemand das gleiche Problem?

Is there a way to auto batch grouping or stacking of bracketed photos? Apparently this feature is available on Classic. Instead of having to select every 3 images, group, hdr merge and repeat for hundreds of photos there has to be a way to do at least one of those processes in a batch or automated, right? Why would adobe not put that on one version of lightroom and not the other? I can't figure out why so I'm assuming its user error, but if anyone has an answer it would save me and others I'm sure tons of time. Or at least the ability to run the process and go do something else while it runs. Running Lightroom cloud 7.4.1
