From the first time I purchased lightroom the select subject and sky never worked it just crashed and reopened the app. Then for the last few months it has been working fine and it's honestly the best feature for what I use lightroom for. Now as of this morning I'm getting and error saying it can't detect the subject. On photos it has worked for before and every photo. I have cleared the cache, uninstall reinstall and still nothing. Not happy at all. Hope this gets rectified asap or a fix is provided. {Title edited by Moderator}
I just downloaded Lightroom (mobile) 9.2.0 on an iPad 9th generation 17.3.1. When I try to take a photograph in Lightroom using the front (selfie) camera, the image just keeps flipping really fast. No problem with the back camera nor with either camera using Apple's camera. app. Here's a long shutter shot of it, which easier than explaining what kind of flipping:
All of a sudden my adobe lightroom isn't detecting subjects while trying to edit. It can do all the others but not subject...has anyone had this problem? I've turned my phone off and on etc. Nothing works. Any ideas [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]
Bonjour, Je viens de télécharger la suite Adobe dont lightroom classic. Mais je n'ai que le module bibliothèque qui s'affiche je ne peux donc pas retoucher les images. Pouvez vous m'éclairer ? D'avance merci 🙂
Lightroom CC isn't displaying any of my images on desktop; I just get this on my lightroom window. I've reinstalled it and cleared my cache, but neither of these have helped.
So, Lightroom is changing the creation dates when exporting photos to the date I am exporting that photo. The new file will have this new date, and before, by unchecked "Automatically write changes into XMP" on the Catalog Settings, when exporting an image, the file created would keep the creation date of the photo. It would help in terms of organizing photos and files. This new way, to access metadata and therefore the creation date, I need to check individullay each photo on LR. It is time consuming. Anyone else dealing with this also?
Hi guys. Is there a way to not allow saved pictures to be zoomed?
Hi I am Dario Schiraldi here, CEO of Travel Works. How can I sync my Adobe Lightroom edits across multiple devices? I often switch between my desktop and mobile, and I have love to make sure my edits stay consistent. If anyone has experience with this or can share some tips, I have really appreciate it! Regards, Dario Schiraldi
I use the Geotag Photos2 app and am able to import GPS data into Lightroom Classic using the Map Module. However, when I travel I use the Lightroom Mobile app.How do I acces the GPX file so I can import the location data into LR when I am on the go?
Hello everyone, since Lightroom was updated I have not been able to improve (reduce noise) in my images, can anyone help me?
Before upgrading, LR correctly reported over 100K photos next to "All Photos" in the left sidebar. I keep originals on this Mac Studio M1 and can confirm there are still 106,130 photo files on disc. However, after upgrading, LR now reports my library has only 50,732 photos. And many folders seem to be "messed up" in almost an opposite sense: they report having photos, as they should, but the grid view is empty (no filters enabled—screenshot attached). This is a serious problem.
Lightroom got an update, and it shows on PC. Main issue is copying and pasting the edit settings is more difficult. They don't load at all. I copy the edit settings from the photo edited, and after I paste it forward to the next photo, it makes a loading screen and then doesn't do anything. Meaning, pasting edit settings is unavailable. The new update denoise feature is also not working as good as the one before. Version 8.4, PC I do have a screen recording of this.
Getting the "Something went wrong" + "Please try again later" error message when trying to apply blur (without any blur previously applied) on an image in Lightroom. I usually encounter this when my internet connection is slow. I usually resolve this by waiting till my connection improves, and sometimes just be restarting the app. Now neither of those is true, and the last stage is gets to when applying the blue is "Detecting depth using AI..." before the error is displayed. Was working fine about ~12 hours ago as of posting this. I'm thinking this is a server issue rather than a local one, but if there's anything I could do to resolve it on my end, let me know, thanks.
For months now I experience that using the (background) mask option generates an error. For me an important feature to the extend that if it is not fixed i am going to look for alternative app. I hoped with the new update the issue would be solved, but no. Just updated and the same roadblock appeared. Annoying.
I just wanted to share my appreciation with the LR team for enhancing my experience exponentially with the new AI features like selecting certain features of a person, not just the whole person, and the object removal tool. I'm tempted to go back through a lot of my old work and re-edit them but that'd take weeks. In the meantime, a Thank You will have to suffice.
On my Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S22) I have one folder selected with the option "Auto add from device". Every time the new photos are added to this folder from the device a bunch of random photos from other Lightroom folders (not on the device at all but from the Lightroom cloud) are also added to this dedicated folder. Sometimes it's like 10 photos, sometimes it can be up to 1000 photos. It's completely random, what is not random is that this happens every time new photos are imported. I have already reinstalled Lightroom on my phone several times. Why is this happening and more importantly, how do I stop it? [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod]
Wo liegen die Lightroom Kataloge physisch auf dem iPad? Mein iPad ist bald voll und ich möchte ältere auslagern.
My mobile Lightroom keeps popping "Couldn't Complete Export". What's wrong, pls? It's never been like that
I'm sure I received notice of this change, but I did not realize Adobe kept my full resolution photos under "All Photos on Lightroom (cloud version) and was eating up my storage. My workflow while traveling was to let it upload the full resolution photos, move them out of the "Syned Photos" folder in LR Classic (and that used to remove the full resolution version from the cloud). I now have over 22,000 photos in the All Photos folder in LR (cloud). I've stopped all syncing trying to figure out what was eating up my storage. Two questions. 1) What setting do I need to turn off to change this behavior. It creates another step in the workflow & makes no sense unless the purpose is to sell more cloud storage to people who can't figure out what is going on. 2nd question. How do I bulk delete 22,000 photos so I can resync the smart previews only, which is how it worked before this latest change. Thank you.
The ability to denoise and everything to save in one file is amazing and helps with storage issues but has one big flaw. When you denoise and image on desktop and then open in mobile if you ever need to recalibrate any AI settings it undos the AI denoise and you have to apply it again on the desktop.
Hi 🙂 I have the Lightroom app on my smartphone downloaded from the Google Play Store (for Android). I bought a subscription there, but it is not visible after logging in to the application. I get a message that it is linked to another email, but it's impossible because I haven't used this email for years. Has anyone ever had such a problem? Do you know how to solve it?
I have paid for one year Lighroom Premium subscription that is due to end 19th January. When I try to use the features it says: my subscription expired. Tried to restore it- no subscriptions found. Tried to purchase a new one: it says I already have one. I don't know what to do, I spent several hours trying to fix it...contacted Adobe via chat, they couldn't help. Advised me to contact Apple. Apple is sending me to Adobe as the subscription is still active
I usually will export finished files from Lightroom Desktop so I can rename them. I will then upload them to a new Lightroom gallery and share it to my client. Since I installed the new version of Lightroom Desktop, any files that I export from Lightroom (usually I export to jpg but I tried tiff and dng now) when I upload them they look fine in Lightroom, but if I share the album and go to the shared gallery in a web browser, they never finish rendering.
Good morning, I have an I7 8700, 32GB of ram and Geforce GTX 1050.Noise reduction with AI is very slow for me, it takes about 4 or 5 minutes per photograph. They had told me that it was done from Adobe computers and the internet connection was important. I have a good connection. Why does it take me so long to do the noise reduction? What influences speed?
