After using Remove tool for AI removal once or twice it freezes lightroom so I can't click anything and has a select remove to get started blue box. Nothing works. Have to restart again and again. I open up lightroom, remove one item or maybe a few at times, then it freezes and I’m unable to click anything and unable to get back to the remove tool. It just shows the select remove to get started box. I have a project to get to a client tonight so this is very frustrating that I have to re-open lightroom again and again. I updated to the latest version and it still gives me this issue. Also the yellow AI updating is not working at all.
I've noticed that if I create a mask of a person (using the "People" function, not manually) and then use AI Denoise, sometimes the person identified will change. For example, if there are three people and I have selected the mask "Person 1," who is standing on the far left, after I use denoise the mask will still be "Person 1," but now that is the person standing on the far right. Has anyone else noticed this?
Since I updated lightroom it has been deleting any edits that I make on the remove tab if I try to toggle the "hide adjustments" button, essentially the same as if I hit the reset button next to it. Is this a bug with the update, how do I fix this?
Assisted Culling is now generally available in Lightroom TL; DR: Assisted Culling has graduated from Early Access to General Availability. It gives you a fast, reviewable first pass on large shoots: it surfaces your strongest frames and sets aside the obvious rejects, so you spend less time comparing near-duplicates. You stay in control: review everything, adjust the thresholds, and override any call. If you tried it back in October 2025, it's substantially more accurate now, especially for wedding, event, group, and portrait work. We'd love for you to give it another look and tell us what you think in this thread. What it does Open an album or collection, run a cull, and Assisted Culling analyzes your images against the criteria you choose: Subject Sharpness, Eye Sharpness, Eyes Open, exposure, and more. It marks Selects and Rejects, shows you why behind every call, and leaves the final decision to you. How far it's come since Early Access February 2026: Expanded from individual po

I keep getting the same Warning message when trying to export finished edited photos (even when I update all AI edits on an image): some images were rendered using low resolution AI generated content. Has anyone had this issue and resolved it?
Using lightroom for iPad: When mirroring the screen of my iPad on a tv via AirPlay on an Apple TV, something strange is happening: after a couple of seconds, the image turns very dark when I view a photo full screen. as long as the photo is not full screen, no problem whatsoever. same problem with lightroom on iPhone, with screen mirroring via airtame to the same Apple TV. any idea? Lightroom 11.1 [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]
In the Presets panel, under Recommended, I do not see the preset categories (Warm, Dark, Bright, Cinematic, HDR, etc.) that appear in Adobe's documentation and other users' screenshots. The app is fully updated, I've already compared it with Lightroom on my phone, and the feature is missing only on my iPad. I'd like to know if this is a bug, a staged rollout, or an account-specific issue.
After the latest update of Lightroom Mobile, the “Remove” tool started leaving a visible halo or ghost outline even after export. This never happened before — I’ve used the same tool with AI successfully many times, and now the exported image has an artifact. I’m editing JPEGs.I already tried reinstalling the app, but it didn’t help. Please investigate — this affects my workflow. on iPhone!
At the time of the deletion of the app the subscription wasn't paid for and photos weren't syncing. However the app says storage full, but the photoa of the last 3 years are missing and before they were there and the storage was the same..
Hello,I am experiencing a persistent and reproducible problem when trying to export or convert photos from my Lightroom cloud library, and I would appreciate your help investigating it.Summary of the issueWhen I select a large batch of photos (several hundred to several thousand) and run "Export Originals," the process regularly stalls partway through — sometimes after only a few dozen images, sometimes after several hundred. The progress indicator simply stops advancing, with no error message and no further disk or network activity after a short time. The problem is specific to JPEG-sourced images. RAW files export without any issues, both with and without GPU acceleration enabled. It is not limited to a handful of individual files — it recurs across entire series of JPEGs (in my case, digitized scans from negatives and slides, all processed the same way), which rules out isolated file corruption as the cause.I have also tried "Render to DNG" as a workaround, since DNG output does not
It is important to me to be able to use a dynamic symmetry crop overlay. I can do this in LRC by importing my own crop overlay to use. I would like this function in LR so I can switch over. Is there a workaround for this?
Hello,I am facing a critical issue with my Adobe cloud storage and Lightroom (Cloud-based desktop version). My cloud storage is currently showing 21.0 GB used out of 20 GB, which has completely frozen my account and synchronization.Because of this over-quota status, I am experiencing a massive "phantom storage" UI bug on adobe.com and within the Creative Cloud desktop app. Every time I open folders like "Cloud Documents" (Projekty), "Synced Files" (Twoje pliki), or "Deleted" (Usunięte), the list of files flashes on the screen for a split second and then immediately disappears, displaying a "Folder is empty" message.Because the interface keeps hiding the files, I am completely unable to select them and click "Permanently Delete" to free up my space. Here is what I have already tried (none of it worked):Lightroom Desktop App: Cleared cache and permanently deleted 1,084 sync errors via Lightroom Web. The "Deleted" folder in Lightroom shows 0 images, but the cloud usage remains at 21.0 GB.
Right now, if my display isn’t 1000 nits or whatever, HDR highlights above the available headroom are simply clipped, which makes the image look ugly.I can understand why this might be useful in Edit mode for a more “accurate” view, but in View mode I think the image should be tone-mapped to fit the display.Interestingly, Lightroom for web already works this way: when viewing pictures, the highlights are properly compressed (at least on Chrome), while Edit mode looks the same as the native apps and remains clipped. It would be nice to be able to properly view HDR photos on displays that don’t have a bazillion nits of brightness, including EDR iPads and MacBooks (and other displays) at high brightness, where the available HDR headroom can be quite small.
Using Lightroom version 9.5, Photoshop version 27.9.1, Windows 11, when trying to open more than a couple RAW files as layers in Photoshop from Lightroom, the “Opening in Photoshop” progress bar on the top left reaches about 10% and then stops. CPU fans initially wind up but stop as well, as though the process stopped. No layers open in Photoshop. Waiting for 10 minutes nothing changes. Stopping the process by clicking on the “x” on the progress bar (top left) and retrying with 2, sometimes 3, or sometimes 4 raw files works, although that seems to relate to the compression set in Preferences; for instance, in “Preferences::Edit in Photoshop” (for SDR) using Zip compression causes the failure when trying to open more then 2 raw files as layers in Photoshop. Using “None” compression can open 3, sometimes 4 raw files as layers in Photoshop. Each RAW file is from a Nikon Z5 with file sizes 27MB to 30 MB each. Clearing cache and restarting Lightroom made no difference. Restarting the comput
I’m not able to copy/paste info text data (title, caption, location, etc.) like I was able to a couple months ago. Previously, I was able to enter all general data into one photo > copy > gallery mode > select all/multiples > paste. What is the procedure to copy/paste this info? This is a crucial step in my sports photography workflow. Thanks in advance.
I've been wanting to do this topic for a while, but lacked the time to actually to proper testing to exclude other factors. I always found Lr to be pretty much unusable when used in "pure Cloud" mode (not stored locally).I have investigated and made a video to measure properly the time of downloads. Each photo takes 10s to load, quite consistently, and they are between 80MB and 90MB. Taking the biggest file, that's puts the download at 72Mbps. At best. 10 seconds between editing 2 files is really not usable. And given how aggressively Lr removes any files from the the local storage, after they've been uploaded, I would have expected something a lot faster, for a software that really pushes to be cloud only. In the past years, I always had a small doubt about my internet connection. Now that I have 8Gbps, with 936Mbps measured on the iPad (through WiFi 7), nothing else can impact this speed. I don't get why the download are that slow. And they're not any better on M
