A custom Action (created in the Actions panel) does not appear in the Action dropdown of the File > Automate > Batch dialog.Workaround to make it appear: open a document, select the Action in the Actions panel, then close the document — after that the Action shows up in Batch.However, when running Batch with this Action, Photoshop returns the error: "The command '[command name]' is not currently available" — i.e. Batch cannot find a command recorded inside the custom Action. The same Action runs without any issues when played manually from the Actions panel (Play).Steps to reproduce:Create a new Set and Action in the Actions panel, record several steps. Open File > Automate > Batch — the Action is missing from the dropdown. Open a document, select the Action in the Actions panel, close the document. Open File > Automate > Batch again — the Action is now listed. Select a Source folder, run Batch.

Everything was working fine, but now I am unable to use the generative fill feature in both Photoshop and Illustrator, as it says "Please check the internet connection and try again". Attaching the screenshot for your reference. Would be great if someone could help.Thank you 🙂

Hello.  I've been attempting to use Photoshop CC to stack images.  I have a camera that can utilize focus bracketing. I recently tried to stack 99 focus bracketed images, with a very small focus differential, with horrible results in Photoshop CC.  The process was: 1) auto-align; 2) auto-blend; 3) flatten layers. Below is the result of my stacked image. The result should have been a sharp picture from front to back. What I got was gobs of blur everywhere. Wasn't expecting such poor results from Adobe. Please, if anyone has any useful input/advice, I'd be very grateful!

Generative Fill was working fine all this while and last week, but for past few days, it has been a slow process (taking more than 5mins to generate results) and sometimes, I'll get the error:"The service is not responding. Please check your internet and try again" a few times and sometimes the results appeared after 5mins or more. Any idea what's the cause here or solution? -Internet is running fine-Had tried reinstall/upgrade/downgrade PS but not much difference-Allowed firewall access for PS

I've just been messing with some new brush sets and a few hours ago every one of my brushes started acting strange. Instead of adding the same color I have color picked from the painting, it's creating some sort of blend mode(multiply?) layer on top of wherever there is already paint. If I insert a new layer on top, I can paint one stroke of paint down and it will look normal on top of the painting(with the exact selected color) until I add another stroke over that piece on that same new layer, which adds the darkened effect yet gain. Opacity is 100% for all brushes here, each layer is set at "normal." I've hardly touched brush settings aside from brush size. Is there any way to turn this brush effect off for all brushes?  I only just started using photoshop today coming from a much simpler program, Autodesk Sketchbook. It's very likely I bumped a key or something by accident and now I'm just stumped. Any help would be absolutely appreciated (: !

It fails on Wi-Fi networks at my office and cafés. I use a MacBook Pro 2020. I already tried changing DNS to 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1, but it still does not work. The feature immediately works again when I switch to Tri hotspot. Please investigate possible network/routing issues with Adobe's Generative AI services.

I’ve already installed Photoshop 2026 and reinstalled it. I click “open” and nothing happens. Then I'm only given the option to use it in my browser. Program was working fin before the update. I have a Mac with a Radeon Pro 575 4GB graphic processor.4.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 processor32 GB of memoryand 2 TB of storage with 1.5 still available.Running the latest macOS Ventura Version 13.7.8 I use this program everyday for my business, help is appreciated! 

I am trying to get ahold of anyone by phone bc i am in the sun and cannot see my phone. I keep getting hung up on. Why is it so easy to see me sell me on new products but I cant manage my account with you guys? 

Hello,I signed the photo plan with Photoshop and Lightroom. I already had it some time ago and now I have it again. I remembered that it was possible to download older versions of the software, but in the case of Photoshop I can no longer find versions earlier than 19.1.8. I use the software on a main PC, where I don't have performance problems, so I use the latest versions with ease, but I also have an older laptop where I prefer to use the CS6 version (for some editing when I'm away from home)I attach a screen of what I see when I go to download the old versions

The preview function in the Image Size dialog is seemingly incapable of dealing with complex large resolution files.For example, I am working a 10,000x6,000pixel image, with about 100 layers, there is a mix of Smart Objects (with and without filters applied, both linked and embedded), pixel layers, and adjustment layers. If I attempt to resize the document, by any amount, the Preparing to Build Preview comes up, then I instantly get a spinning beach ball, no chance to even cancel the preview. Out of curiosity, I have let it run for up to an hour, never finishes. Only solution is to force quit the app.This has happened across multiple versions of Photoshop on multiple computers going back years.If there is no fix, please let me disable the preview, in 30 years of using this app, I have never once needed a preview of how my image is going to re-size.System info and a screen shot of the image size dialog doing nothing attached. -Sam  

Issue summary:  Photoshop 2026 hangs when I select any of the buttons in the print dialog Product and version: Photoshop 27.10.0 20260824.r.26 9d9635d  arm64 (final, Release) and Photoshop Beta 27.11.0 20260909.m.3669 481f204  arm64 (beta, Internal) Operating system: MacOS Tahoe 26.6.2 Steps to reproduce: 1. Open an image in PS 2. Select File>Print. Print dialog displays 3. Select Cancel, Done, or Print buttons Expected result: Print workflow would continue Actual result: Have to force quit the app to get out of PS Attachments (optional): Screenshots, screen recordings, sample files, or short videos that show the problem.

When done editing a jpg. It says “save as type” and defaults to a photoshop extension every time. other versions never did this. Very time consuming when you have 400 plus photos to do. Any help here? 

When will you fix the Remove tool? The Cloud and the Device! Use AI to fix the program's bugs, not to add new features. The noise reduction feature is terrible, and there's this bug too. This is a huge step backward.

I'm running Ventura 13.7.8 (yes, I know, its nearly as old as me!)

Most of the file type options are missing from my save menu. I cannot save JPGs unless I choose the 'Save as a Copy command. If I choose 'Save', or 'Save As...' I only see options to save as PSD, PSB, IFF, JPF, PNG, TIFF. I've noticed that for some files, I only have PSD, PSB, and TIFF.  I have my project set to 8-bit, RGB Color.I use photoshop regularly and this problem just started yesterday. The problem persists with all new projects I create.   

I'm trying to open a .png file in Photoshop Elements 15 and I get the message: could not complete your request because the file-format module cannot parse the file. What does this mean and how do I fix it?

Hi,I just updated to 27.10.0 and Photoshop has become barely usable.(I use a recent and powerful PC)Some operations that took a fraction of a second this morning now take more than 10 seconds with the new version.I known you are trying to add a lot of AI features...but do not forget that there many legitimate reasons why some people may want or need to work on their images while offline.The only way to get decent response times with the application now it to stay connected to the Internet.Please fix this issue ASAPThanksOlivier 

My sunday is starting to becoming a nightmare thanks to Photoshop, Yesterday all looked fine. Today i fired up photoshop, opened a file to continue my work and....... it froze the aplication. I had to end the task with task manager because it wouldnt close no matter what. i tried a few times and result is the same. So did what everyone does. Uninstalled it. rebooted the PC, intalled it again and...... same problem. So i tried to troubleshoot it, open Photoshop, create a new file and save the file. all went well. now i tried to open this file and…. ti froxe the application AGAIN!used the taks manager to end the task and started onece again, opened photoshop and closed photoshop. yep you guessed it, it didnt close, it frezeed!!!Oh and when i opened a file saved on cloud, it opened with no issues. only with files on Desktop this is happening.Im using the latest Photoshop version, on Windows 11 and my sunday is starting ti be one hell of a stressful day!

On moving onto the AI assisted in Photoshop I keep getting the attached message..After closing Photoshop and then re-opening things are ok and the image opens. Does anyone know what the message means? It means nothing to me.
