Photoshop

Hi, I started using the PS today, but couldn't get too far.I tried to create a file, which I need for college, but nothing happens. This is the setting. Note here, it does let me create 8bit file.I am using a gaming laptop, Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3. I should have memory left at least 50GB. Thanks,Jenni. 

My client wants the back logo placed on a white T-shirt, but the logo has a checkered background that he wants to keep and blend naturally into the fabric. Right now it looks like a hard square sitting on top of the shirt instead of blending in. What is the best way in Photoshop to blend a checkered PNG background into a white T-shirt so it looks natural and not like a block?

I have just built a new Windows 11 computer and installed PS 2025. Now the "save as" dialogue box keeps opening in the top left corner and no matter how many times I drag it to the centre, the next time I "Cntr/shift/s" it opens in the top left corner again.This is extremely anoying and uncomfortable.Anybody have a solution

After the 14th, my Photoshop stopped starting up. It's the latest version and, out of the blue, sometimes it opens, and when it does, the toolbar has no icons, or it opens, freezes, and closes without giving me any options.The only way I can force the program to start is to reset the preferences with Shift+Ctrl+Alt and click on the program icon. This way it opens, but if I close Photoshop, it crashes again at the start, and obviously constantly resetting the preferences is not ideal.In addition to version 27, I have the beta installed.Any suggestions for starting the shipping version?

Hallo, wenn ich aus Bridge mehrere Bilder in Photoshop Ebenen lade , ist das letzte immer im Smartobjekt. Ist dies ein Bug ? Das letzte Bild muss ich immer erst rastern,bevor ich die Bilder ausrichten und überblenden kann.Hat jemand eine Lösung oder auch dieses Problem

Hi All-I teach a PS class at an art school. We have students attending in person and via zoom from various places in the US. Last week PS 2025 Neural Filters were creating odd results: hair thickness, smile, and various other face oriented filters were resulting in odd mask like replacements of the face and odd clown like replacements of hair.  Has this happened to anyone else?Best-TA

Anyone getting this error on the lattest Photoshp release 24.0.0? I'm constantly getting this issue.

Hello!I'm encountering some issues while using the Camera Raw Filter in Photoshop. At first it seemed to happen while hovering over the presets (preview), but then it also occurred while adjusting some general sliders or just switching between some masks. The interface becomes unresponsive and/or visually "scrambled", with overlapping or misaligned sections, and in some sessions. Usually the filter freezes entirely. hi, i followed this tutorial  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXRDvYUBqXY I want this neon text and did all the steps, now when i click my smart object I have problems with: 1. this is my smart object (smart1)2. when i click on the Font layer and want to change the text i only get this small box, i need to change the text to 6pt to read everything like ORIGINAL COOL NEW TEXT. how can i increase this box (smart2)3. and when i switch off the background i see all the filter grid from the fitler gallery, i want to copy paste my neon colour font with grid effect to a new picture without the background 😞 (smart3) thx

I just instaled the new PS 27.0.0 but it does not allow me to save in HDR or EXR.for EXR I did install a plugin, however for HDR I still cant do it.Does anyone knows how to solve this?  

I'm having a very difficult time due to the sizes of the menu items at the top of my screen and the cursor sizes when I'm editing an image. How do I increase these sizes? I'm running the app on a Windows 11 desktop.Elias Davis

 Hello, in Photoshop update 27 the "log errors to file" command stopped working. Even when active, when running batch actions the program displays dialogs and interrupts their execution instead of writing to the log.

Ho iniziato ad usare Firefly per alcuni progetti connessi a mie fotografie. Al momento ho avuto buoni risultati che mi spingono a continuare.  Ho per ora il problema del file finale realizzato che ha una risoluzione troppo bassa. Ho provato a cercare eventuali istruzioni, ma non sono riuscito a risolvere.  In altre parole ho inserito in Firefly un JPG  4000x6000 e il risultato che ho ottenuto è stato 864 x 1184.   C'è modo di ottenere direttamente un file di dimensioni maggiori ? My suggestion is for Adobe to eliminate "layer visibility" from the history panel. Like may users, I frequently hide and show layers I have created, sometimes toggling back and forth many times to evaluate my work. This has the unintended consequence of cluttering up the history timeline with "layer visibility" repeated over and over, making it harder to find the last real edit you did. In some cases, you even lose access to earlier edits because "layer visibility" is taking up so many spaces that you exceed the maximum. Maybe Adobe could make it a user option to either hide or show layer visibility commands in the history timeline.

Pessoal meu programa está atualizado para última versão, mas o Câmera Raw não funciona. Já tentei:- Desinstalar e Reinstalar ambos (Photoshop e versão Beta);- Instalar versões antigas (Photoshop e versão Beta);- No meu Creative Cloud consta como Câmera Raw instalado na máquina.- Tentei instalar externamente através do site adobe.- Reinstalei a máquina diversas vezes.- Limpei as preferências do Câmera Raw para o padrão de fábrica. O que acontece: Não abre através do atalho e na aba Filtro > Câmera Raw aparece como indisponível (em cinza claro, como se estivesse desabilirado); 

Hi,  I'm trying to find a way to quickly, thru Generative Ai or other, in PhotoShop, replace a blown out interior window, with a properly exposed window; basically the same two shots on a tripod with no movement, only one shot is well exposed for the interior of the room, and therefore the window is overexposed, and the other shot is underexposed for the interior of the room, but the window is properly exposed. In the past, I would manyually layer the good window in place of the poor one, but I assume Ai has a quicker solution?  I see Imogen has a solution, but it seems not to be very well done yet, at this point.  Please advise...

this first started happening when I tried to reduce my image size and has continued to happen when I tried to duplicate a layer or create a smart object

I'm new to using paths and the pen tool, can somebody explain to me how I can fill a path with a pattern on a new transparent layer, rather than a solid background? This is my problem. Thank you!

Why does Adobe Photoshop suddenly exit by itself and lag after updating? I have sent a message from Adobe Photoshop error

Hi all,I often use the Image>Adjust Variations option in Photoshop but do not see the option in Photoshop CS6. I know we are still only in the BETA stage but I am still curious. I hope it is not going to be dropped. I like to use it for quick fixes on small portions of the image every now and again:)Thank you in advance for your help,Christine

I just updated my Photoshop 25.12.0 to the new 26.0 version on macOS 15. In every previous October release for as long as I can remember, like ALL of Creative Cloud, the old Adobe Photoshop 2024 folder would be left in place that contained brushes, actions, scripts, etc. that had been added to the previous version and then i could manually drag those over to the new Photoshop 2025 folder. However this release, the entire folder was removed. It doesn't put it in the trash its completely removed. I have a back up so I can go in and retreive what was wiped out but on my other machine I'm making backups of the plugins and presets before updating.  This happened for Illustrator as well (so will post this there as well). My After Effects however did retain the old folder so I could grab what was in there.  I'm marking this as a bug for now. 

I recently installed my copy of Photoshop CS5 on my new Windows 10 computer. I deactivated my copy on my old Windows 7 computer. My copy was an upgrade license from CS4 to CS5. I think I messed up the install because when it asked for the license key, it just accepted the CS5 license and did not ask for the CS4 base license like it had done in the past.   Now I cannot update my copy to the latest patches, as such, I cannot get the RAW format to work with my camera in Photoshop. When I try to update, Adobe Application Manager downloads the file but says "There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later." The customer support link that shows with the error says 'Upgrade error: "This serial number is not for a qualifying product"'.    I tried to uninstall Photoshop with the WinCS5Cleanupscript that Adobe provides, but after re-installing I still have the same problem. Any thoughts?
