Photoshop

Although I have used Photoshop and Lightroom for many years, I only started using Content Credentials recently, basically to tag the image I took and publish in the internet. However when I export and image with "Export As" from a JPG or a PSD, it does no allow you to incorporate the content credentials. Only when I create a new file blank and copy the image, only then it will add the content credentials. The same happens in Lightroom Classic if I export a file to jpg, it does allow to add the content credentials, however the file created, has no contact credentials.I am using a Mac with M2 chip and the latest version of Photoshop and Lightroom, both have full access to the disk as well as internet connection.Anyone has encountered this issue?

I just used the perspective warp tool with no issue a few weeks ago, and now it's acting very differently. When I select a quad, switch to warp mode, and start pulling a corner, the entire image warps instead of just the selected area. Please advise, I'm going crazy! Thanks in advance. 

My stamp tool isn't working and I don't know how to get it working again. I tried resetting it, I've changed the layers and I tried to deselect with CMD+D and nothing seems to be working. Does anyone know what I should do?

Seems like this is a relatively old issue but wanted to bring it up for further visibility as well as see if anyone in the community has a fix. I'm recently looking to upgrade and purchased a Huion Kamvas 16 gen 3 and I love everyhign about the hardware except this issue. Basically, when you use the shift + brush function try to create a straight line, the initial click uses brush tip minimum pressure and the end click uses brush tip MAXIMUM pressure. This makes the function incredibly difficult to use without adjusting brush settings each time you want to use it. Using a Huion Kamvas 22 Plus, PS CC, Win10, the pressure for brush size works fine in freehand drawing. Even when holding shift and drawing a straight horizontal line, the line strenght corresponds to pen pressure. As soon as I try to draw straight lines by drawing start and end point, the pressure is seemingly ignored completely, the lines come out thin, sometimes at random going from thick to thin.  PS CC updated, Huion Win 10 driver up to date (no older versions available as its a new model I believe) I tried it with ticked and unticked windows ink setting in the Huion App, makes no difference. Also tried using the PSUserconfig.txt fix to use win tab, as that seemed to resolve some pressure sensitivity issues for other users - this only resulted in pressure sensitivy to stop working altogether when win ink is UNflagged in the Huion App. No change to the straight line issue either way.  Any suggestions appreciated (especially where the root of the proble

When I open Photoshop today, my files aren't opening when I double click on them in the Recent list.  Nor do they open if I right click on them in File Explorer and choose Open with Photoshop.  Not sure what is happening here.  Any ideas?  Thanks.  

I don’t know why, but every time I use the Rectangle Marquee Tool in Photoshop, the corners appear rounded instead of sharp. It’s caused me a lot of problems — I just want to create a simple frame around an image with straight edges. I’ve already tried all the suggested solutions I could find, but nothing worked. Any idea what might be causing this? 

Hey everyone!I don't know if I am missing something, whether it be update notes or I just can't find it. I am using PS 26.8.1 and there is no "AI Denoise" button, no option to use the tool, or Enhance or anything. Did it get remove? or am I just stupid? Thanks!

I recently downloaded several template psds from KOZMIK DESIGN and keep running into the issue of being unable to open the files. Photoshop keeps giving me the message "Could not import the clipboard because photoshop does not recognize this type of file."  Does anyone know how to fix this? 

I ran some updates on my iMac (2020), updated the OS to Sequoia 15.3.1, and updated Photoshop 2025 to version 26.3. Then when I click to open I get the error “Adobe Photoshop 2025” can’t be opened  When I checked CreativeCloud, it randomly said i hadn't got Photoshop installed at all? I installed it, but it looks like a clean intall, I've lost all my preferences, workspaces etc. What is going on?

Hello!I am trying to create an elipse as a path so I can make curved text.  I read that I need to select the elipse them select path from the options bar but I can not find this option anywhere!  Where can I find the option if it's not on the options bar?  Is this a bug?  Ay help appreciated!

I have about 40 images saved as PSDs that I have prepped on a transparent background. I would like to load these images into a single photoshop file. However, when I select the images in bridge or in PS and ask PS to "Load Files into Photoshop Layers",  Photoshop creates layers from each image, but also adds a white background to each of the layers, not maintaining the trasnparency in each of the PSDs. Is there a way around this? Ultimately, I am in the process of making stop motion animations from the Timeline palette. The client wants the abilty to change the background layer, so I am trying to build that in by maintaining the transparency I already have built in each of the individual PSDs.

I am entering a photo contest that has the following format requirements: "Format: Images must be in RGB color format, horizontal, 300 dots per inch, 8 bit, and at least 9x12 inches when printed at 300 dpi. The pixel width should be 3600 and pixel height should be 2700."  I have no issue setting this in Photoshop, however, the submission page requires maximum of 5mg size.  How can I reduce the MB size without reducing the format required. I have tried saving as jpeg, gif and png and using Windows 11.

I'm currently using Photoshop 2023 on Windows 10, and I tried opening a .mp4 file, only, this time it gave me the error "Could not open "filename.mp4" because the video file could not be opened.I used Photoshop 2023 to open .mp4 as well as .mov files just earlier that same day. I tried looking it up but only found solutions for Mac. I have also tried restarting my PC as well as relaunching Photoshop 2023 with administrator permissions, neither worked.

To comply with the task in the tutorial, I was prompted to use the Content-aware fill icon in the Contextual task bar. I do not have a Content-aware fill icon. However, the Remove icon completed the task needed.

Today I download the latest version of Photoshop 25 onto my Macbook Pro M1.I then tried to edit images I took the previous day.I immediately discoved that images would only open in the default mode Preview.I then tried to change the default to Photoshop 25 which was showing Adobe Acrobat. I tried this procedure several times which made no difference. I then uninstalled Abode Acrobat which then changed default to Adobe Lightroom. I then selected Photoshop 25 as default but it reverted back to Adobe Lightroom.I have uninstalled Photoshop 25 and reinstalled but this has not made any difference.My ios version is also up to date.Can somebody help me? 

I am looking for advice on a graphics tablet for use with Photoshop (and Illustrator).I purchased a Wacom Cintiq 16 but it had cables that would not connect to my Macbook even though it said it was compatible. I see I could buy a $70 adapter from apple, but when I delved more deeply into the Amazon reviews for the tablet (which were stellar overall) - I found a lot of negative reviews from Mac owners with horror stories, so Im returning it. What I want out of a tablet:Be compatible with my MacHave cables that will actually connect to my mac - I only have the four USB-C (thunderbolt) portsWill work with my Adobe Suite programs - specifically Adobe Photoshop and Adobe IllustratorHave a screen on the tablet itselfIt doesnt have to be top of the line - but I do want the pen to have decent pressure sensitivity. For everything I have researched there seems to be quite a lot of negative experiences with Mac users so if anyone out there is using something that they like with Photosho

Hello. I purchased a mockup for prints I am selling.  The folder includes the PSD and 2 video files. When I open the PSD file it asks me to link the video ‘’CurtainVid.mov’’ which I do but I get the attached error message. I thought the video file was maybe corrupt and downloaded it again but same issue. It won’t play in QuickTime either and states ‘’This file contains some media that isn’t compatible with QuickTime Player.’’ Any ideas? I am running an M1 Mac Mini and Ventura 13.0 with Photoshop 24.1.1. Thanks in advance.

Help!  I'm getting and error when I'm trying to use content aware crop.  Error 54: Uncaught JavaScript exception: General Photoshop error occurred.
