Photoshop

HelloI am on version 27.8. Photoshop has been freezing constantly. I cannot make a single edit without the whole app freezing. I also cannot close the app as it stays frozen on the screen. I posted yesterday that I am also having freezing issues on Premiere Pro, specifically with playback. I am on a brand new computer at my job.CPU: Intel Core Ultra 9 285GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7400 8GBRAM: 32GBOS: Windows 11

HOW DO I DISABLE THIS FROM THE VIEW MENU "Export -> Send to Firefly Boards"?!This feature is annoying and interferes with my work!Every update is a complete mess! But that bastard AI, who can't do anything right, sticks his nose in everything![Profanity removed by moderator]

I updated Photoshop CC today to 27.8.0 and the alt key no longer functions (this may be a coincidence but it was working fine yesterday). It won’t activate the color picker for the brush tool, it won’t select an area with the clone stamp tool, etc. When I use the on-screen keyboard, the tools work correctly. The alt key on my physical keyboard works fine with other software that also uses the alt key. For the clone stamp tool I am using a file with only one layer, no selections, current layer and below, etc. I tried all the things that I could find online.PS reset toolPS reset preferences on quitPS disable use graphics processorPS disable GPU compositingWin11 settings - Disable Windows Sticky & Filter Keysrestart computerdisable NVIDIA overlayAny assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I'm encountering the same issue when using the remove tool with generative AI turned on.No matter how big or small the area you want to remove is, the blue bar stalls for around 1-2 minutes, and then an orange box shows: 'Please check your internet connection and try again.'However, when you turn the generative AI off, it works normally.Does anyone else have the same problem?Using Photoshop 27.8.0 on Apple M1 Max 64gb Ram. 

I am trying to make it appear that a photo of someone wearing white, open toed sandals is barefoot. Several attempts using cloning and the remove tool have not given convincing results. I am not a big fan of generative fill, but that might offer some help.  Any ideas?Thanks.George ButchPlantation, FL

I am using the latest version of Photoshop beta on my computer. Every time I open the programme, I get the warning "feature level 11.0 available; feature level 12.0 required". The Remove Tool freezes during processing and leaves the pink Remove Tool overlay stuck on screen. Photoshop becomes unusable and will not accept normal input.This has happened three times in two days. It happened once yesterday and twice today.Clicking anywhere in the Photoshop window only triggers the Windows exclamation sound. Alt Tab does not show any hidden Photoshop dialog or error window. The application appears trapped in the Remove Tool operation.This happened during active production work, after a significant amount of unsaved retouching. Olá, pessoal.Estou com um problema no Photoshop e não consigo descobrir a causa. Algumas combinações de teclas funcionam normalmente, mas outras, principalmente envolvendo Ctrl, Alt e Shift, não respondem ou funcionam apenas às vezes.O mais estranho é que consigo digitar normalmente em outros programas e não percebo nenhum problema no uso diário do teclado.Antes de redefinir as preferências ou reinstalar o Photoshop, gostaria de confirmar se todas as teclas e combinações estão sendo reconhecidas corretamente pelo computador.Alguém já passou por algo parecido? Como vocês costumam verificar se o problema está no teclado ou nas configurações do Photoshop?Obrigado!

When I select tool via key command, it changes to a different tool. Not all the time but often. Click "z", zoom icon highlighted for a split second. Then the Move tool is highlighted instead. Same with the eyedropper and brush tools. 

The entire app stalls out in the middle of a process and the beach ball pops up. It 's happening with all tools and at all stages. I've upgraded PS, checked for sortware updates for my mac , closed all other apps , still no change .

Já faz algum tempo, e em 2 computadores diferentes, que o programa SEMPRE, sem exceção, crasha quando tento abrir algum arquivo diferente do formato .png (seja em .CR3, .JPEG, .JPG,...)Tentei todas as soluções possíveis, desde desinstalar e instalar novamente, redefinir preferências e afins. O Câmera Raw não abre e também ocorre o crash quando tento usar a opção "Editar no Photoshop" no Lightroom.Gostaria de uma solução, pois ficar convertendo arquivos em .png toda vez que preciso usar a ferramenta é, além de contraproducente, incoerente pra uma ferramenta desse porte. 

In Photoshop 2026 the Select Subject is considerable slower  that in Photoshop 2025.Previously the selection was almost instant. I have a Macbook Pro both M1 Pro and M4 Pro, in both on Photoshop 2026 the Select Subject is considerable slower that in Photoshop 2025, even on the fastest M4 Pro it takes 3 to 5 seconds to load the selection.I use this tool almost in all of my images, I’m a professional retoucher working for a big retail company, I retouch around 250 to 300 images a day, that’s up to 25min a day of waiting for the tool to load the selection.. That’s a lot.I’ve tried use the Cloud option on settings, but it is the same.Why were these changes implemented? Is there any intention on getting it as it was before?For now I have to downgrade to Photoshop 2025 as the 2026 is useless to me.Thanks.

Just installed CS6 onto a new computer. I opened up Photoshop but a notice says I have to deactivate the serial number from another computer. I just did that, but I still can't get rid of the notice that pops up.

Photoshop as of yesterday started crashing on launch - Only an hour before it was working fine. uninstalling, deleting preferences, full CC clean has not fixed the issue.From what i can tell the only change in that hour span was that the Creative Cloud manager app updated camera raw. Additional Details:Photoshop version 27.7 Nvidia Drivers (Studio) are on latest version as of writing and were both before and after the update  Tried clean reinstall of these Windows updates has been checked for any missing updates and has none to offer Does anyone have a fix?Or can offer how to rollback both photoshop and camera raw to a stable version?I’m in the middle of an important project delivery and need access again. I know how to install older versions of photoshop but it seems like it’s the camera raw plugin crashing things and I don’t know how to roll that back

My healing brush and paint brush suddenly have refused to drag so I can no longer drag it along a highline wire to get rid of it. I can only use them to dab one spot. I did nothing to change the settings. Any ideas?
