Hi Adobe Team,Please consider adding a Mask Edge / Refine Edge feature like in Photoshop desktop. It's really difficult to clean up white or colored edges while masking on mobile. This feature is essential for clean cutouts and professional-quality edits on the go. Hope to see this in future updates! Thanks,Atharva
The current Sky Replacement feature in Photoshop intelligently replaces the sky in an image and blends it with the foreground. However, it doesn't provide the option to automatically detect and apply the new sky to reflective surfaces, such as in water bodies, puddles on a rainy day (which would be trickier for users to create), chrome on cars, etc., leaving an unrealistic effect where the water or other surface reflects the old sky. Users currently have to manually copy, flip, and blend layers and layer masks (and remember the associated sky settings) to achieve a natural-looking reflection, which can be a time-consuming and complex process, especially for images with intricate reflections or water surfaces (including the already-mentioned murkier street puddles which would be virtually impossible to get the current Sky Replacement tool to recognize as a 'sky'). Selfishly, if it has to be rolled out in Ps beta on only one platform to start, I'd wish for it to be for Windows 11 us
I think that Express feature of Dynamic Text is so smooth, so simple and effectivebut at the same time there isnt something like that in Ilustrator or Photoshop.Adobe please bring this feature to AI and PS. Its great and unfortunately we dont have its elsewhere. Thank you.
I believe that it would be a good thing to add native File Info support for the following to Adobe products via File Info and Metadata Templates: https://iptc.org/news/exclude-images-from-generative-ai-iptc-photo-metadata-standard-2023-1/ Caveats: Not for Adobe Stock and this requires that the embedded metadata is not stripped out :]
It would be very useful while croping print files for screen use, now you have to guess. It could be and option in tool settings.(Yes, I'm aware it could be done with gudlines)
In Photoshop 25.5+, the transform controls on smart object layers no longer respect the layer mask's bounds. Instead, the transform handles default to the entire smart object, even when a mask is active. This is a major disruption to workflows that rely on quickly resizing or adjusting masked areas without affecting the full layer. Previously, selecting a layer mask allowed for tight, accurate transforms around the masked content. Now it requires cumbersome workarounds like rasterizing layers, manually loading mask selections, or using additional transform steps. Please consider either:Restoring the old behavior when a layer mask is selected.Adding a Preference toggle that allows users to choose between "Transform by Mask Bounds" or "Transform by Full Smart Object Bounds."This change slows down professional workflows and makes mask-based smart object editing less intuitive. To the powers that be, PLEASE take this into consideration, thank you!
Option to NEVER SHOW AGAIN "Warning: No pixels are more than 50% selected. The selection edges will not be visible." I use the lasso tool a lot while working on illustrations, and consequently get this message A LOT. It interrupts workflow unnecessarily . It would be nice to have the option to not show this warning (like many of the other dialog boxes have).
"I’d like to request a feature to customize touch gestures in Photoshop. For example, I’m used to Procreate’s ‘undo’ gesture—a two-finger double-tap—which is much more convenient than swiping with three fingers. Could you either add this as an alternative option or allow users to remap gestures manually?" Please add customizable touch gestures in Photoshop (e.g., two-finger double-tap for undo, like in Procreate). The current three-finger swipe is less intuitive. Does anyone else miss Procreate-style gestures in Photoshop? Adobe, gesture customization would be a huge QoL improvement!
As with many other astrophotographers I use Photoshop's median smart object stack mode to reduce noise in my images. However, I find that recently Photoshop's auto-align fails to recognize frame overlap at all, even though stars (and a comet in the case of the images I'm trying to process) are obvious registration marks. I get an error message stating that frames could not be aligned because they do not sufficiently overlap. I can't tell if auto-align is simply not designed for this use case or if I have some issue in my settings that stops the tool from working. One suggestion I would like to add is that users be able to choose which part of an image auto-align should be based on. I usually work with nightscapes, meaning that part of my image stack is static and part of it moves. Currently I need to mask off the sky on every frame I wish to stack, align the frames, and delete all the layer masks -- quite tedious. If auto-align could align frames based on the sky alone,
I would like to suggest a new feature that could greatly enhance the workflow of photographers and editors — an Intelligent Auto Crop Tool similar to the one in Retouch4me Crop. Suggested Features:Automatic Subject Detection: Automatically detect the person or subject in the image. Auto-Adjust to Proper Angle: Align the subject to the correct angle and orientation. Crop Presets Selection: After detection, allow the user to choose from multiple preset cropping options, such as:PassportFull BodyHalf BodyFace & ShoulderCustom Ratio (1:1, 4:5, 3:4, etc.)Faceless Top (for clothing shots)Faceless BodyManual CropAutomatic (best-fit suggestion based on composition) Benefits:Saves time and increases accuracy for repetitive cropping tasks. Greatly useful for ID photos, fashion catalogs, e-commerce, etc. Reduces dependency on third-party tools. I believe such a feature would be a valuable addition to Photoshop’s growing AI-assisted toolkit and make the user
My work involves creating hyper realistic renders and part of that involves creating photomontages of an existing view. Within the process, some of the existing frames within a photomontage need to be updated or changed completely. In order to update a photomontage currently, a whole new photomontage will need to be automated to include the updated frames.Photoshop tends to not stitch the images together exactly the same way as previous versions, even the unchanged frames, which causes some confusion with our clients on occasion. It would be good if photoshop could link the images used in a photomontage so that if one of the frames needs adjusting, all that would be required is to update the link within the photomontage rather than having to automate an entirely new photomontage. ThanksUsing Adobe Photoshop 2025 v26.9.0.15
Could you please reconsider how Adobe software distributes its configuration, cache, libraries, and support files across the macOS user account? Right now, it’s a complete mess. Some files are dumped into: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/others into ~/Library/Preferences/and yet more into ~/Documents/Adobe/, ~/Documents/Shared/, and so on.Even within Application Support, there's no consistent logic—some products create deeply nested folders, some split their data between multiple hierarchies (e.g., Media Encoder vs. Premiere), and shared libraries like color profiles, swatches, LUTs etc. aren’t even centralized. Where’s the global Color directory that should exist for shared ICC or .ase files? Instead, we have cryptically named or duplicated folders all over the place. And then there's the Creative Cloud Files folder… with a 200+ character identifier in its name. Why?This isn’t just about aesthetics. It:Breaks automationMakes backup and migration harderWastes time for power user
I would kike the ability to disable the prompt that comes after you try to edit a smart object. A simple "do not show again" checkbox is all it needs to be. If I want to rasterize my smart object I can do that from the right click menu.
Windows 11Photoshop 26.8It was suggested that I post this here after making a post reporting it as a bug. You can find that post here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/persistent-png-transparency/ When copying and pasting a png from anywhere into photoshop the transparency is stripped away and replaced with black. This only happens with Windows OS but this is not a windows specific issue as it does not happen with all image processing applications. It is also not a browser issue as, again, it works for other applications. I’ve read all the suggestions that people identify as "work arounds", but none of those steps can be easily automated into a keyboard shortcut and are not an actual solution. If you are reading this, please DO NOT comment with workarounds that cannot be automated. So my "idea" is that adobe fixes this age old problem. Ether make a plugin that allows for pasting with transparency or create a permanent i
We need the ability to completely disable font auto-activation in ALL Adobe applications. Many of us already use font management software, and we don't need Adobe gumming up the works with its own unwanted version. This already exists in Illustrator and InDesign; please add it to Photoshop and every other Adobe application.
@adobe If you're going to count everytime I press generative AI, please add a counter in photopshop instead of web browser so I can keep track of it.
The "Line" tool. You can adjust the line "weight".You can use options to add an arrow at the start or end of the line (or both). You can adjust the length and the width of the arrow. It would be nice to have a "lock ratio" option for the arrow, so that once you adjust the length and width of the arrow, if you engage the "lock ratio" for the arrow, then if you resize the line weight, the arrow dimensions would also change. Like if your line weight was "10", and you set up the arrow to be 5x5, and then changed the line weight to "20", the arrow would become 10x10, if scale lock was engaged. Thank you for consideration.
Hello, I'm a lifelong user of photoshop. But, one simple update I think would REALLY help bring in new users is if we had a (middle-mouse-pan) control option. Other software are much easier to use because of this. This is actually probably the primary reason I've heard people not use photoshop when coming from other software, and I think it's sad because I feel in 2024 we should be able to have this kinda of intuative control by now. Having middle-mouse-zoom, middle-mouse-pan, all in the right hand saves a lot of time, and is super easy to use for most people. I hope we can get this feature included in the future,Thank you for your time -
lets you selecet a block or use lessco to pick a image to pick there
It would be helpful to add the ability to scroll or toggle between different asset updates directly within Adobe Assets Reviews. This would allow reviewers to compare “before” and “after” versions more easily during feedback rounds, especially when reviewing visual changes or iterations.
Hi there! I am a concept artist and game texture painter, and both me and my employer studio choose Photoshop for our content creation and have done so for years. I like Photoshop's "Recent Colours" as a feature, but I wish it wasn't hiding in the Swatches and Shapes windows: swatches and shapes are good for graphic design, but are not really relevant in a painter's workflow. I like to reduce the number of panels I keep open as I paint, so I propose two options to improve access to recent colors:Option A) Adding "Recent Colors" to other tools in Photoshop. Adding to 1. The Color panel (pictured); 2. The Color Picker (pictured); 3. maybe even the Brushes panel (not pictured, that was an afterthought that came to me while I was posting 🙂 ). There might be other logical places. Alternatively, for Option B), review this recent Ideas post from EdTechLiam, who proposed that "Recent Colours" gets a Panel of its own. https://community.adobe.com/t5/p
This is a post written in pure fury. I spent over an hour carefully crafting a mask using the "Select and Mask" feature. But with a single accidental press of the ESC key, everything was erased. Instantly. No confirmation. No undo. Nothing. If this is intentional behavior, then it's a massive disrespect to the time and energy of creators worldwide. This feature is as destructive as Frieza’s Death Beam. At the very least, please implement a confirmation dialog — something like “Are you sure you want to cancel?” That tiny addition could save countless users from despair. We creators ask for a safeguard, not a miracle. Please fix this. Signed, with the collective rage of warriors across the planet.
Dear Adobe team, you must see there is a growing demand for big file use in Photoshop. It is nice, that we have the possibility to save as PSB, but most other tools which i have to work with do not support PSB nor PSD. While Photoshop can read, open and edit BigTiff files, it is unable to save them. We are almost at the and of 2020, please make this a possibility. There are tools out there, that can do math operations Photoshop can not. Aswell as there is Photoshop, that can do things the other tools are unable to. Please connect this by allowing to save with the BigTiff file format. It would certainly expand the possibilities of what we can do with your software. http://bigtiff.org/
There are often times when I have a product box, and for the sake of composition, it would look much better if the box was facing left, but the photography I have points to the right. It would be easy to just flip the box horizontally and improve the composition 100x, excep there's a bunch of writing and graphics on it, and it takes time to change the perspective of every single graphic, piece of text, or other detail that would make it obvious the box was flipped. It would be very helpful if Photoshop had a smart flip that would flip the object, but detect the graphics/text (or even give an opportunity to select the elements that can't be reversed) and keep those elements facing the correct direction, but change the perspective/angles to match the newly flipped object.
Please add a lens profile for the Voigtlander Nokton 28mm f1.5 II Leica M-mount. It'd also be nice if we could manually add non-Leica lenses to the metadata.
