Unify how brush tools can change and/or select brush size, feather, presets…Open for Voting

EVERY tool that uses brushes should get the "right click" quick/hover menu like the original "brush tool". This would definitely speed up workflows and optimize UX!Current state: In order to e.g. change brush size, you have to, depending on the tool, use different ways to select and edit size, feather etc. And lots of these only work in the menu bar. This is not only annoying but tedious to use.Instead every tool should have a similar quick/hover menu when right clicking the canvas like the brush tool does. Of course it needs to be tool agnostic to adapt and only show whatever changes are possible for brushes with the active tool. So it always shows size, but depending on the tool also tip shape, feather, all or only certain presets. etc.And why stop there? Add transparency, flow, etc to the quick menu as well. Even if these are only toggleable extensions so the menu can be as wide or long as the user likes,

The tab to click on and change the properties for an adjustment layer randomly disappears. Quitting and re-opening the app solves the issue, but it will happen again within minutes, usually when switching between different projects or different app on the computer.  On Photoshop v26.6 - Mac Mini M4 pro, 32gb ram, 1tb ssd.   Any help would be appreciated! ss

Not enough GPU Vram error sparked when attempting local device remove tool option

PS 27.8.0An error message pops immediately upon choosing the local device option for Remove Tool processing.GPU has 12 (just under 12) of ram on the card which is higher than listed requirements for this.Checked sys info and PS sees the GPU’s ram so I’m not sure where the disconnect is in the ram check sparking this error. Bug on subject selection and remove background v.27.0Open for Voting

Hello,I started using the new photoshop version 27.0 and noticed some really annoying problems while using the "subject select (SS)" and "remove background(RB)" features from the taskbar, in some instances it just doesn't recognize images at all, images that it had no problem working on the previous version.At first I thought this was a problem after i rasterized the image, as soon as I imported and used SS or RB on the smart object it worked as expected. But if i rasterized the same image and then tried to use the same features, photoshop would select the outer bounds of the image imported.But after trying again on both smart objects and rasterized images i realized that the same thing happened with both types of layers.I also thought this might have been a problem with images generated with firefly, but again, i had the same problem with photos and other files that were not ai generated. Here is an example of the weird selection it made on non-generated image as a smart object l

How do you find layer kind for Grain in scripting?

app.activeLayer.kind returns an error for Grain adjustment layers, is here anyway to return a value for them? Is it detectable with AM? Adobe Connector for Chat GPT can't generate images

The Adobe Firefly connector in Codex is repeatedly failing with:HTTP 403 Forbidden — “MCP streamable transport probe failed”Endpoint: https://photoshop-mcp-service.adobe.io/v3-creativity-b8f2a/mcpThe connector worked briefly and successfully generated images, but then began returning this error again. It occurs before Firefly receives the prompt, even when generating one image at a time. Disconnecting, reconnecting and restarting the app have not resolved it. I updated to Photoshop 27.10.0 and now when I click “generative fill” in the contextual taskbar, the cursor to type the prompt no longer appears automatically in the box for the prompt. So when I start typing, it cycles through the toolbar keyboard shortcuts instead. This is a glitch that did not exist in previous versions, I could always immediately start typing my prompt after clicking the generative fill button in the contextual taskbar.

can't uninstall, please help

I'm trying to uninstall Photoshop but I need to log into my account in order to uninstall. I'm not sure why but it doesn't give me an alternative option. When I log in it forces me to download an update to creative cloud in order to proceed with the uninstall. Then I get an error that I don't have enough space remaining to install the update. I can't uninstall photoshop to make space. The AI told me to download the Creative Cloud Cleanup tool to address the issue. But I don’t have enough disk space to download the Creative Cloud Cleanup tool either. Please help me uninstall the application. Is there a way besides figuring out other stuff I can delete and reinstall?

Not able to use Remove Tool when the image is coming from LrC

I am currently working on a Mac mini, Tahoe 26.7. I have the Creative Cloud Photography plan with 1 TB on a yearly plan.The issue that I have been experiencing is the inability to use the REMOVE TOOL when taking an image from Lightroom Classic into Photoshop. When I click on the remove tool, I get a message: Required components are being downloaded. Check back later to use the feature once the download is complete. I do that, hit ok and nothing. I will try again and hit cancel and briefly a message says that the download successfully installed. There is still no change to the situation and the option bar for the remove tool does not appear. The mouse just turns into a cross hair.I also noted that the PS icon appears again on my dock when I am working in photoshop in this situation. I am not sure if this is a relevant matter. I am running Lightroom 15.5.1, camera raw 18.5.1 and Photoshop 2026, 27.10.0 release.I have spent 3 hours on 3 separate occasions with tech support at Ado

I have tried everything and I absolutely cannot get generative fill to remove an object from an image. I've watched all of the tutorials and read all of the instructions, followed them to a tee, and the only thing it does is generate another object instead of the one I want removed completely. This is happening both with Firefly and PS 2024 on the Creative Cloud. Macbook Pro - Version 12.7

How to disable the diaglog box when saving a file from an action

Hello everyone, I have Photoshop version 27.10 with the new actions panel. I have created two actions and bundled them into a master action to run together.The last action is to save the file in its current location as a tiff file (default save type) but would like to turn off the two dialogue boxes that come up showing the location and file type options and then the Tiff file options. De nieuwste versies van Camera Raw kunnen niet samenwerken met mijn NVidia Geforce RTX360 gratische kaart, waarvan ik de nieuwste drivers (sept 2026) heb geïnstalleerd. ACR opent niet als ik een raw-foto in Photshop open. Ik krijg de melding dat de CPU-versnelling niet werkt. Binnen Photoshop staat alles wel goed aangevinkt. Als ik terug ga naar Camera Raw 18.0 werkt alles weer naar behoren.Al eerder heb ik via de chat een Engelstalige medewerker hierover aangesproken. Deze heeft het beheer van mijn PC zelfs overgenomen en is er twee uur mee aan het werk geweest. Hij kreeg het niet opgelost en zou het aan de ontwikkelaars van RAW doorgeven. Inmiddels is Camera Raw alweer twee versies verder en is het probleem nog steeds niet opgelost. Adobe Creative Cloud installeert elke keer de nieuwe versie, maar die moet ik dan weer overschrijven met Camera Raw 18.0.graag hoor ik wat Adobe hier nu aan gaat doen.groetHenk
