Hello, Reporting a bug here that causes a crash in PS 26.1.It also existed and was confirmed by Adobe in Beta 26.0, changed slightly in Beta 26.1, disappeared in PS 26.0, and has reappeared in PS 26.1. https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-beta-bugs/p-ungroup-resulting-in-crash-in-26-0-0-beta/idi-p/14872177 I’ll attach a video of the sequence. I have actions and plugins on the market that use group folders and am getting emails around the clock, as it appears to customers as though my actions are faulty. It’s suddenly quite a disaster for my business. Through interfacing with some customers, I’m finding that the two-folder bug (reported also at the end of the linked thread) is also crashing the program in some cases. Photoshop 2022 is graying out the "Include Vector Data" option when saving to Photoshop EPS and it turns out choosing the RTL paragraph option in the Paragraph Panel under ME options, something that doesn't happen in PS 2020, causes this bug. MacOS version of Photoshop so far is affected. Having a larger cursor set in the system OS Accessibility settings means the Photoshop brush size is displayed incorrectly. This is just an obvious problem, and I'm sure so easy to fix I cannot fathom how it is still a problem. Affinity photo can do it just fine (with a better preview mind you), so it's obviously doable.

I upgraded to Photoshop 2025 26.0. It crashes when opening the flash screen. I replaced 25.9. I tried uninstalling 26.0 and reinstalling 25.9; it no longer opens- same crash. I have uninstalled and tried Beta; it crashes. After uninstalling I have tried Adobe Cleaner and deleted all the previous setting files in Preferences and Application Support. I have a MacBook Pro 2022 with M1 Max and 64 GB memory. I just installed the upgrade to MacOS 15.1.1 and reinstalled 26.0. Same results. I have tried to download the error logs than ran under 15.1, attached.I also have a MacStudio where 26.0 was installed and is working perfectly.

Update this morning - now PS crashes frequently when using the Remove Stamp/Tool.No image editing possible 😞PS 26.1 • macOs Sequoia 15.1.1 • M1 Mac Studio

Pencil and brush options worka as intended. Erase tool will paint with foreground color. Background Eraser tool erases but may be using settings for brush. Dodge or Burn tools do not work at all. Actually the only tool options that seem to work correctly are the Pencil and Brush tools. Or, If you'd like to test this: Create a new rgb document. Fill a layer with a nice taupe (hex: 958972) color. Create a path, convert a marquee to a work path or draw one with the pen tool. Hit "D" for default colors on your keyboard (black foreground/white background colors). With that path selected in the Path palette, hamburger menu>Stroke Path. Choose the tool you'd like to use to stroke the selected path... and it will probably not work. 😞

Hi, Yesterday, PS worked fineToday, I have a problem when I open some files. Nothing happen.I tried to uninstall and reisntall. The same.I tried to install a previous version (v25.12), the same. I tried to untick my graphic card in "performance", deleted my parameters folder etc. Help me pls. Cyril

Hello! Unsure if I'm, in the right place but here goes:   I have an Adobe Subscription though my job that also comes with a personal account. The business account includes Photoshop for desktop and iPad. While trying to log-in to Photoshop on the iPad, the app is automatically defaulting to the 'personal' version of my business account and refusing to prompt a change in profiles. The personal version of the account does not have a subscription so I end up stuck on the ' start a subscription ' page with no other options. Here are the unsuccessful things I have tried (all of them several times):   - Logging out and logging back in - Logging out of all devices on both sides of the account and back in again - Deleting the app and reinstalling - Restarting my iPad - On both sides of the account disabling automatic profile selection (so in theory it should prompt me, but it still doesn't)   If anyone has suggestions on how to resolve this I'd be incredibly greatful!   Bes

I just upgraded to PS 2025 (v26.0) on Windows 10.  After the upgrade, about 80 to 90% of the time when I use the Remove Tool, it begins processing, the green status bar moves across the screen, but when it gets to near the end of processing, it stalls and then PS crashes.  Prior to the upgrade, the Remove tool had never crashed PS on my PC.  It happens almost always when I use the "Wire and Cables" option under Distractions.  PS crashes more often than not when using regular brush removal.  Is anyone else seeing this same issue?  When it crashes, I am sending the bug report to Adobe.

Heute lief bei uns eine Photoshopupdate im Haus, seitdem haben wir folgende Fehlermeldung.Photoshop.exe - SystemfehlerDie Ausführung des Codes kann nicht fortgesetzt werden, da dxcore.dll nicht gefunden wurde. Durch eine Neuinstallation des Programms kann das Problem möglicherweise behoben werde. Die Neuinstallation hat nix gebracht!

For years I have been recording brush strokes as actions and playing them back (so I can record them with a 3rd party screencapture) but all of a sudden, Photoshop will no longer play back brush stroke animations. The brush strokes simply "pop on". Yes, I have "Allow Tool Recording" selected. If I switch playback options to Step-by-Step, the brush strokes pop on one by one but they will not animate. I know the brush strokes are recording correctly, because they still dynamically change if I change brushes. And about the correct amount of time ticks by on an empty screen before the completed strokes pop on.   I've tried resetting preferences, updating drivers, to no avail. I'd think this is just a bug in the latest update but I haven't seen anyone else report this problem... any ideas?

I suddenly started getting the error message, The command “Play” is not currently available each time I open my Photoshop (26.0.0) application. The error appears twice immediately after I open the app and then when I press the ok button, Photoshop works okay. Any idea what is causing this and how I can fix it?  Thanks. 🙂

Starting with Photoshop 24.0 (and apparently not fixed in 24.0.1)When using Neural Filter Skin Softening with more than one person in the photo then filter will show the faces with a Blue box around the one chosen by default - When selecting the other face the filter will only soften the default choice - even if not chosen.There are kludgey work-arounds like copying the face to a new layer and then using the Skin Softening filter but this just makes what is a useful feature more of a chore to use.When v24.0.1 was released recently I was hoping this Bug would be sqwashed - Apparently it hasn't been.Are other experiencing this problem, or is it just a few of us? I have seen other reports in the forums here that I'm not alone...

I have a problem with running the action, with "select and mask" with versions before 2024 there is no problem running the action, but from version 2024 and version 2025 it is required to stop and check "select and mask" otherwise the border will be broken, you can look at the image to check.This is very inconvenient if I do a large quantity and have to manually check each "select and mask" action on each one.Please fix the problem soon

Hello,I've noticed a strange behaviour in Photoshop. In Photoshop. It is possible to create a clipping mask for a LAYER on a FOLDER. BUT (strangely enough), it is IMPOSSIBLE to create a clipping mask from a FOLDER to a LAYER.To make things as clear as possible, I've attached two example files. I think this is a bug.Is it possible to correct this please. Many thanks in advance!

MacOS 18.1 , Photoshop Classic 26.0.0 11/16/24 Using stamp tool on a layer that filled the canvas, as pixels changed, the pixel area that was the result of a generative-expand-crop function previously, would not change. The stamp tool would not work on this region of pixels. Previously, I had expanded the cropped region to a larger area using the crop-generative-expand. Throughout my edit session, I would periodically merge visible layers. I was down to a single visible layer and was using stamp tool when the region of pixels uniquely in the epand area were not affected by the stamp tool. I checked to confirm that those pixels were not part of another layer that, while marked invisible, was somehow visible. The reason I had been merging layers together, sacrificing some control of the image, was because I was having a lot of trouble with generative fills when multiple layers affected the content. Puis elle se ferme et plus rien ne se passe. J'ai essayer de réinitialiser les paramètres prédéfinis. Mais le problème est toujours présent.

 Bonjour, depuis une dizaine de jours, j'ai ce pop up qui apparaît à chaque ouverture de Photoshop. J'ai trouvé plusieurs posts sur la communauté avec des problèmes similaires avec Photoshop ou première pro. J'ai essayé tout ce que j'ai vu, mais rien ne fonctionne.Comme je n'avais pas ce dossier /CEP/extensions/LogiOptionsAdobe j'ai été en retrouver un du 06 novembre (date ou tout fonctionnait sans pop up) dans mon time machine et je l'ai remis à la bonne place. Mais le pop up revient toujours.Mes mises à jour sont toujours faites. Je suis sur un macbook pro 16 de 2019, OS Sonoma 14.6.1, Photshop version 26.0.0J'aimerais vraiment me débarrasser de ce pop up inutile à chaque ouverture, car tout fonctionne très bien, comme avant son apparition d'ailleurs. Je n'ai ce pop up qu'avec Photoshop rien en In Design Illustrator ou première pro. À n'y rien comprendre.Est-il possible de supprimer ce pop up une fois pour toute ?

Hello,When the user selects multiple items with SHIFT+Click, shouldn't the drag with mouse be disabled, so that the user doesn't mistakenly also move some of the items slightly off? Of course, when selecting only one item without SHIFT, the drag with mouse is always active.

Recently upgraded my PC to perform optimally for graphic design work and 3D. While using Photoshop the last few weeks I'm facing  the following issue: It first happened as I was trying to transform an image from vertical to horizontal with Generative Expand turned on. Second time happened as I was simply brushing with symmetry turned on. Third and forth time, which I was crash testing happened as I was using Generative AI features.  The displays instantly shut off, PC appears to be on, but does not respond even to hard power off(continuous button press). To fix this and actually reboot the computer I have to manually cut the power supply off and on again, then the PC responds to manual power off (button press). Then I turn it on again manually.    I have tried sfc scans, uninstall Adobe CC and reinstall everything manually, checked for faulty RAM or PSU. WINDOWS RELIABILITY ERROR REPORT:DescriptionA problem caused this program to stop interacting with Windows.F
