Hello Adobe Team,I am facing a Tamil legacy font compatibility issue in the latest version of Photoshop.I use STMZH Tamil fonts, especially STMZH-073, with Azhagi+ for professional wedding invitation and printing work. Tamil letters are displayed correctly, but whenever I press the Space Bar, Photoshop displays a square box character instead of a normal blank space.The same STMZH fonts worked correctly in Photoshop 2020. Rotate object is like a miracle EXCEPT that it glitches out on me. After I apply the rotation, the rotated object “enhances”, and then when it’s finished it glitches out like this - rainbow bars. Using a Surface Pro 11th edition running Windows 11  version 25H2Photoshop 27.9.1 

A little Photoshop history—and a feature request for Adobe Long before Lightroom, before Camera Raw became what it is today, and certainly before AI could remove distractions with a click, there was scanner dust. It was the mid-1990s. I was working as a commercial photographer, shooting catalogs, advertising assignments and still working with both film and some of the earliest digital cameras. My film cameras included 4×5, as well as 2¼-inch formats. When a commercial transparency was finished, the next step was often scanning it to produce a high-resolution TIFF. And that's where the fun began. Or, more accurately, where the dust began. Even after carefully cleaning a transparency, there always seemed to be tiny pieces of dust or debris that found their way into the scan. Hi,Expanding the image while using the Crop Tool (the color in this case, about a solid gray) using Content Aware Fill - makes wrong color, in my case after expanding a lighter frame at the previous image edge borders and a lighter gray color is used for the expanded areas. Is this a known bug? I’ve downgraded to 27.8, no issues there.Thank you,Patrik

Hello,For several updates now, I’ve lost a very important feature in the Layers panel regarding the blending mode dropdown menu. I used to be able to scroll through the blending modes using the mouse wheel, which was extremely convenient. Now I’m forced to change modes by opening the Layer FX panel, which is much less fluid (I’m on a PC version).What’s even more surprising is that the search filter in the Layers panel, just above the blending mode dropdown, still allows scrolling with the mouse wheel.I hope you can restore this functionality that has always been there. Thank you!

I downloaded the latest version of Photoshop for work the other day, and I am unable to even create a new blank template without the entire program crashing. Is this a common issue with the new release? I’ve updated my graphics card, uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times, and am now attempting to revert to an older version because I have work I need to do.This is an insane amount of hassle for the cost of a subscription.

 I wanted the hand to look nicer... 

I have an Apple 27 inch Intel iMac running Mac OS 13.7.8 which is the latest version that will run on it. I was using photoshop version 27.8 and for the most part it worked fine. There were a few new features that required a newer operating system but for they were things I needed. Yesterday, it upgraded to version 27.9 and now when I launch it I receive a message that I need to upgrade the operating system to use it. I would have expected that the update would only have installed if it would run on my machine, which is what happened with Lightroom I tried to uninstall photoshop and reinstall both 27.8 and 27.7 and now I still get the message that I need to upgrade my operating system to use it. upgrading my OS isn’t an option until I can buy new hardware and that isn’t going to happen until Apple announces a new mini. is there anyway to get photoshop working again?thatks for your help,Jim 

If I add a layer mask to an art (pixel) layer and mask out part of the layer then select the layer icon (not the mask) and apply Gaussian blur both the pixels on the layer and the mask are blurred. Is this a new bug or am I missing something? Ps version 27.9.1. Thanks.

I am experiencing a reproducible problem with Find Distractions → General Distractions in Photoshop.Find People and Remove Wires work normally.However, when I select General Distractions, Photoshop starts processing and then suddenly quits in the middle of the process. There is no useful error message before Photoshop closes.The issue appears to be limited specifically to General Distractions.I have the latest version of Photoshop installed and I am also using the latest NVIDIA drivers.Has anyone else experienced this? This was working perfectly a few days ago. Now, when I select my whole image and say something like “remove writing” or “delete thin writing” or “erase writing,” I can sit there waiting and waiting, and suddenly it stops working and nothing gets done. Or, I can select a part of the image and click the “Delete” button and I wait, but then it stops and nothing gets done. This is wasting my credits (money) and time, and is very frustrating. I am on a Mac, and Photoshop is updated all the way. I do not want to use the Remove tool to solve the Generative Fill button problem, because it doesn’t work as well, and also has selectively stopped working. When I use the Generative Fill button, I had been using the Firefly Image 5 choice, because the other two were doing insane things like replacing my entire image with women’s faces, etc. I tried some of the more expensive Partner choices, but they were tending to overdo their edits, like adding things I didn’t ask for, or changing the entire colo

Windows 11 64 but, 128 Gb RAMWhen invoking Photoshop 27.9.1 from Lightroom Classic 15.5, Photoshop hangs after “Initializing tools” and never recovers. Have to have Photosop running before invoking it from LR and then things run as they should. This is new - probably came with the latest release as it I used it not long ago calling PS from LR “Open as Layers".The workaround is to have PS running before trying to call it from LR but this bug should be fixed. thanks and regards André

updated drivers and reinstalled the photoshop app by issue persists 

Hey there!   I'm trying to open Photoshop after updating to Windows 11, and it will open until Finding System Profiles, then it will just quit, we have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, nothing.   Not sure what I can do to help this get past this screen!  

I have had this issue for the past two major PS updates. I am unable to import or place video files in PS anymore. I am currently on PS version 21.0.1 now with the issue still not resolved for me.   Before this last update, I even had an Adobe tech support agent remote in and he could not solve the issue and told me that, "they were able to reproduce the issue, and that we are working on the fix and the issue would be resolved in the next update".   I have "literally" pretty much gone down every road imaginable. All except wiping my Mac and starting from scratch. I have installed and reinstalled PS several times. I have deleted preferences from everywhere that they can hide. I have tried creating a new profile, changed security settings.   I am supremely confident that it's not a video file format issue. Photoshop generative AI has gone completely off the rails suddenly? Just last week i was working on a project restoring some old photos. I used simple prompts along the lines of “restore this photo and preserve all facial features” etc. and it worked absolutely perfectly. I came back to it today and all of a sudden it is generating bizarre overlays. Like a green box. Or a dirty machine parts. Or a flower. Or a made up face. What is it, did they break their LLM over the weekend?? 

This happens when I highlight a section of text, go to Character, type a font name, and press Return (Enter). The text block then turns completely grey, and I have to find a way to turn it off. Sometimes it even gets stuck on the screen when I minimize Photoshop.I just bought a new Mac Air M5 expecting a better experience than my old Windows laptop, but then I ran into this bug. Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it? It's really ruining my experience on Mac.I’m using Photoshop version 27.9.1If I don't search for fonts and just select them manually, it doesn't happen.Someone literally told me to '"just quit the habit of searching for fonts." and I was like, 'WTF is that?" I shouldn't have to change my entire workflow just because of a bug. 

Since updating to 27.5 yesterday I’m encountering a bug where when I switch between channels of a Curves adjustment layer the active point is deselected. This breaks flow and slows down the process of getting the color right, which for me typically involves bouncing back and forth between 2 or all 3 color channels (working in RGB) and making one or two point adjustments with the arrow keys.  To reproduce:Make a new Curves layer Add a point somewhere in the middle of each of the R, G, and B channels.  Press Opt + 3, 4, or 5 to switch between the channels.  Prior behavior: you would still have selected and active the same, nth point on the curve. So, if you were on the Red channel and had tweaked a point in the middle, then switched to Blue which you hadn’t touched yet, you’d have the 255,255 point active since it was the second point on the curve. Once all three channels had a point though, switching between them would keep the midpoint selected for tweaking with the arrow keys. Current

Havent seen this specific message on the forum, although elsewhere resetting preferences is suggested, and it works, except it keeps happening, resetting preferences is an extreme move so something is wrong.  Everything is updated, I print similiar pictures ALL THE TIME.

Hello,Recently I have noticed that when I select a menu, or a drop down menu, there is a brief freeze and lag.This lag vanishes with Windows Ink is disabled, BUT, then I lose all pressure sensitivity.The lag isnt there when I roll over menus, but is when they are clicked.I am on Windows 11, using a Wacom Intuos Pro LRG (and older model: PTH-851)
