Dear Adobe Photoshop Team, I am a long-time and dedicated user of Adobe Photoshop and highly appreciate the capabilities your product provides for creativity and image work. However, I have a question and significant dissatisfaction regarding the recent decision to make the AI image generation feature (Generative Fill/Generative Expand, etc.) a paid service, by introducing a credit system. My concern stems from the fact that the quality of AI generation is not always predictable or consistent. Often, achieving the desired result requires several attempts, and sometimes dozens. Each such attempt, regardless of its success, consumes credits. This creates a situation where the user is forced to pay for numerous unsuccessful or imperfect generations, which seems unfair and unnecessarily costly. AI generation is a powerful tool that significantly expands creative horizons, but its effectiveness directly depends on the ability to experiment without substantial financial losses

Suggest add a simple one button click to convert a selected image into a seamless image/texture. Probably can use existing but add some AI to finish the cleanup to produce a fast easy final result.

Hi, I am runninf Photoshop as part of the Photogtaphic package, using V 26.7 on a MacBook with Sequoia 15.5.  Every time I open the App it crashes, without the product actually getting to a point where I can check preferences.  I hav restarted the MacBook, unisntall and reinstalled Photoshop 26.7 and the porbalem remains.  Adobe must have about 10 crash reports from this afternoon's activities Any advice please?Thanks mike 

I am used to print small versions of my photos, or real-size smaller parts of a photo, as proofs, to a (large) A2 paper to see if the result is OK. However, it often happens that these small pictures are not printed by SC-P900, not at all or only partly (a sharp deletion). Instead, the print head moves swiftly as if it were printing onto the right position of a paper. No ink is coming. The print head is _not stuck_, as the ink test works fine, with no missing parts in the test figure (or in some successful photos). The other day I installed the latest Epson drivers because of these problems. However, no change. In the document (of A2 size), there are no any masks etc which could explain the missing outcome. On the screen the document appears normal, and this is the case in the PS preview before printing.One strange feature is the following. Hi Guys, I am so frustrated. I have contacted imagentic portraiture several times..but they keep just giving me the same generic answer that Im not copying the code right. Seriously. ?? I have called adobe, apple, Ive unstalled reinstalled everything updated everything... I'm just stuck .been dealing with this for a couple of weeks. I bought portraiture for both photoshop and lightroom. It works perfectly fine on my lap top. but when i try to install the license key to register on my i mac it keeps giving me the error. wrong key code or expired. Which it is not. It is the correct code. It fell like its something or a setting on my iMac that is preventing it from working. Does anyone have any idea? I really can't even edit without it. So Im really behind. A couple of months ago I created a post about how CC app does not show latest versions of the apps and that I cannot update anything. Nothing has changed since then and offered solutions were too inconvenient and I didn't do them. Earlier today I thought what if I try to update them from web app and I clicked install button for each app and it directed to me Creative Cloud app. There I can see them being "updated" (from 24.0 to 24.1.1) to latest versions with one major issue, they are not updated, they are installed as "fresh" so I lost all my preferences, actions, etc. I had custom action sets that are saved in Actions panel but not exported. Is there a way to bring them back? I regularly backup using Time Machine and tried to locate these files with no luck. I don't mind the preferences but getting these custom actions is top priority for me. Appreciate any help.

I am an animator. I use Photoshop to make texture maps for my 3D models.A few years ago, some of the tools I need were removed from Photoshop, namely converting grayscale maps to Normal maps, that ugly lavender used-chewing gum look.This has created a speedbump in my production pipeline. In other words, this is a serious Quality of Life issue for me.Substance 3D doesn't have all of the same tools as Photoshop. It has a lot of bells and whistles I don't need and won't use. It is a gigantic pain in the butt to have to swap programs in the middle of what you're doing just to perform ONE function, especially when your edits might be tiny details that need to then be checked in the game engine or animation software. And the earlier version of Photoshop that is still available and can do that one thing doesn't have all of the tools of today's Photoshop. So, no matter what, Adobe is forcing either compromises or program-swaps on developers like me. That's unacceptable.And I'm at a point

Noto Sans JP and Noto Serif JP were added in a Windows 11 update. However, when using these fonts in Photoshop v26.5, the weight is fixed to Thin.There was no such issue with the previous static version of Noto Sans JP.

Hi, I need some help in how to use sky replacement on a photo I have taken of a volcano that has smoke going up into the sky. When I use sky replacement, the volcanic smoke is covered, and when I try to brush over it using a mask, the edges look inauthentic (even with feathering).  Can I get some assistance on the best way to keep the smoke and replace the sky. Any directions/links to videos would be welcome. Sara

I am not able to open WebPShop.plugin on my MacBook which is managed by my company. The managed device settings allow downloads only from verified developers. Has anyone else had this issue? Any solutions would be apreciated. Thanks.

Hi,I am trying to create a texture pattern from the bottom layer and the same being applied in the Bevel & Emboss -> Texture effects, and afterwards being deleted. Hello there, i'm new to Photoshop automation and wanted to try using DataSets to create a Test with a few hundered test images. However when I get to the point where I want to import the CSV file I get the error:"Could not parse the file contents as a data set. There were not enough variable names in the first line of the text file." But when I look at different Videos on YouTube they all have their Data arranged the exact same as me, which is quite confusing.  I've attached my CSV for reference.

Hi. The histogram shown in the Histogram panel and Curves & Levels UI is incorrect for 32-bit images. The histogram is shifted right. I see this in Ps 26.8.1 and recent prior versions. The shifted histogram makes it much harder to use Curves because the plotted histogram doesn't relate to the curves I make. The curves I make are being applied correctly in compositing (thankfully!). Below is a simple example with a solid gray layer, having an RGB value of [0.1, 0.1, 0.1]. The direct conversion to 8-bit would be [26, 26, 26]. The Info panel is correct:  The Histogram and Curves panels show incorrect histograms, showing an 8-bit value of 89 instead of 26. Various 32-bit color values I have tried seem to show 8-bit histogram values that are being gamma-converted to gamma 2.2. For this example having a 32-bit color value of [0.1, 0.1, 0.1]:(0.1 ^ (1 / 2.2)) * 255 = 90.48Here the converted value of 90.48 is close to the value 89 shown in the histogram. I tri

Every time I go into a file and make a change and then try to save it, it says I do not have permission. I look at GET INFO and it shows that everyone can read and write and the file is unlocked. Then I open the file again and still it will not allow me to save. Photoshop 2025 on a new iMac.

I think having default shortcuts for exit, closing and closing other and closing all is not enough. We need more ways for accidentally closing documents. Why not Exit without saving shortcut? Exit with Operating system shut down. 😄Seriously, those actions should not have shortcuts by default. 

I have tried to set Photoshopas my default app for opening  .jpg files. When I navigate to Photshop .exe file and open it it does not work, I can only open .jpgs by navigating to their locacation within Photshop file selector.  I'm running Windows 11 and I've noticed that Photoshop is not listed in default apps. I have no issues with psd. files , the Photoshop icon is visible next to the file, implying it's a Photoshop file. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop and I'm still getting the same problem.
