Photoshop

Hello Photoshop users, I'm looking for a solution to this problem relating to the Gradient tool. Many thanks for anyone's input in advance! I've created a blur mask using: ( Layer > Layer Mask > Reveal All ), applying a Gaussian Blur smart filter, and using the Gradient tool on the Layer Mask. My Layer Mask in Layers panel: But when trying to edit the gradient layer mask by clicking on it, with the Gradient tool selected and active, the handles for editing radius, size, midpoint etc don't show. This means I have to click and drag out another gradient every time I want to make a minor edit. The edit handles I'm reffering to for Gradients: So the question is, how can I make the Gradient handles/corners/buttons appear when I need to make a change to my gradient? Thanks for your time! Let me know if there's a more suitable forum to ask this question. I kindly request assistance with fixing an issue with artboards in Photoshop. They cannot be copied by dragging with the mouse or using the 'plus' icon. It always gets stuck, and it takes an extremely long time. Can you issue a command-line command to Photoshop to tell it to load a RAW file, apply ACR edits (stored in the associated XMP file) and then export to JPEG file without having to manually do this by hand or luanch the PS interface? 

Hello, Part of my work involves draweing in Photoshop. Everything has worked just fine. However suddenly I'm getting pixellated edges on my drawn edges. Usually I draw withnthe pen tool then convert to a selection and fll with colour. For comparison in the image attacehd you can see the old edges, which are good, on the black shape, and the nedw, bad effect on the yellow shape. This is also happening with selection tools. But if I make a shape and concert to a selction its still good. Any help gratefully received! Many thanksRichard    

I am on a Macbook Pro runing Big Sur and the latest versions of Lightroom and Photoshop.I have an Epson P900 printer and have installed Epson Print Layout.  The Print Layout workls as a stand alone program and interfaces with Lightroom as expected, but in Photoshop I am supposed to be able to open a selected image in the Print Layout software by clicking in Photoshop File/ Automate/ and then Epson Print Layout.  Epson Print Layout does not show up in the drop down menu.   Anyone else see this issue and have a fix?

Does anyone else experience crashing when using photoshop ? I have an imac 2020 and like once a week while using photoshop my mac just crashes casuing it to restart with error reports. I called apple and they said it sounds like a software issue. I have not been to happy about this. Its a new computer. I use 2 screens. the main goes black while the second goes green. Any ideas ?

I've had multiple issues with printing out of Photoshop over the past ~year. I have a basic tiff file, 7 in x 10 in with simply type and want to print out a test sample. The option to do so is grayed out and this happens often. All other apps on this workstation print fine. I've done the following: Verified Image > Mode and set it to RGB ColorVerified Layer > Flatten Image (its a tiff)Verified print drivers (freshly reinstalled)Reset PS preferences (yet again) What am I missing? The preferences are a bloated mess, so navigating those forms doesn't lend itself to quickly checking settings. I searched through them using the search function and "print" and there are all of 2 options, neither of which were any help in this case. 

Hello, Is there a way to convert an image with a sRGB IEC61966-2.1 color profile to a DCI-P3 D65 Gamut With sRGB Transfer color profile? When I go to select a profile to convert to, it's not an available option as seen in the screenshot below. Is there a way to extract the DCI-P3 D65 Gamut With sRGB Transfer color profile from an image I have and then be able to use it when converting other images? 90% of my photos have the DCI-P3 D65 Gamut With sRGB Transfer color profile as seen in the screenshot below. I would like to convert my other photos so it says EXACTLY the same thing for the document profile. This is mainly me wanted everything exactly the same and not really making a difference otherwise. However, this is very important to me. Thank you,

How to place a color gradient & BG in a PSD file to Ai file? Both files are uploaded. I replicated this video work. As no voice in this video it is diffcult to understand. Hi community,I have PS 26.7.0 installed. and also the latest PS Beta 26.8.0. when I create a new action and click on Select Subject (cloud version) while uploading steps, both photoshops freeze while progressing. And I can't get any further. Do you have the same problem? I don't know if it's a bug or it just doesn't work for me. Hey,First post in these forums, so bear with me... And please let me know if I need to provide any further information.When trying to use the Clone Stamp Tool, the tool itself works fine but I can no longer see the crosshair cursor indicating where I am stamping from (clone source). In the image attached I am cloning the bottle holding the cursor over the text (marked 1), so there should be a cursor/crosshair indicating where I am stamping from (marked 2). However, as you can see, there is not.(For some reason the circle outline around where I am cloning to disappears when taking the screenshot, but please ignore that.)In the screenshot I have selected clone source by Alt-Left Mouse Button, released Alt and I am holding the cursor over the text. As you can see, there is no crosshair cursor over the source area.Previously, this has worked fine, i.e. I have seen the crosshair showing where I am cloning from, and moving it while moving the stamp tool. I am not 100% sure when this problem

I would like to create a product mockup of a double-sided flag using the attached image. I don't have much experience on photoshop. My first hurdle is changing the American flag to a solid color flag and maintain the shadows and highlights, and be able to change the color of the flag to whatever when I neede to. Then I need to be able to put a design on the flag that will also change. I know I need to use smart objects. I'd appreciate any suggestions on how I can make this happen. Thanks!

If I am working on a very large banner for inside a school for above lockers at 634" x 25" what would be a reasonable ppi? I am assuming 300ppi is too much? However, it will be viewed at a close distance by visitors and students.Thank you for your help

Using Photoshop 2025, 26.7.0, I made a selection on an open file, and I wanted to replace that selected area with an AI generated pattern, based on a sample image. It seems like Generative Fill only works with written cues, so I tried generate image to fill the selected area, by pointing it to a sample JPEG. However, instead of generating something to fill the selected area, Photoshop is basically replacing the whole image with the pattern sample. I am not understanding how I can fill just my selection with generated content from my sample image. Thanks.

Can anyone help me disable this type of selection that appears in every single thing I create on Photoshop? It does not help me at all. When I disable "Extras", it disappears from the selected layer but then I have to do that in every other layer that keeps showing it. Is there any way to eliminate this once and for all?      

I don't know what's going on with us, but since Photoshop three, maybe I've been able to free transform rasterized text -- free transform one corner at a time using the control (or command key on Mac) and then hit return, and it stays transformed as I've set it. But now in the technological wonderland that is 2025 when everything is automated and doesn't listen to manual input no mater what, when I try to do that, a transform, one corner, or maybe the other or two, and then hit return, the edit reverts to some weird semi-warped version of the original. WTF?In order, before, during, after.
