Photoshop

I wanted to render a video in photoshop, and after opening the Render Video window my mac suddenly started launching an app called dynamicmedialinkserver that I have never seen before, and it got stuck on launchmode and since I didn't know what it was I just force quit it. Then I proceeded trying to render my video and got an error message. I figured out that these 2 things are related but I don't really understand what's happening since that app looks entirely unfamiliar to me.I restarted photoshop and tried rendering the video again, this time without closing the app that poped up and it worked...  

Is it possible to round the corners on a custom shape similar to how you would on a rectangle shape?I created an arrow shape, but I want the corners to be rounded.

I just got an email saying the Adobe Photoshop Fix app is to be deleted soon and I'm so confused as to why. It is the only app that i use and understand from adobe and im frustrated as to why it's getting removed. Trying to speak to a real person from this company is impossible and your AI chat is the most useless thing i've ever seen. Would love to speak to an actual person if that's even possible. I have a new Apple M4 Mac Mini that I have migrated to and cannot get the Load Files Into Stack feature to work at all. After selecting my images to load into the stack, I click OK and the window disappears and nothing happens. Doesn't matter if I try it with 2 images or 20 images, or with any different options on the dialog box. I have tried a few other scripts and they work without issue. I have even imported a custom script for loading files into a stack and it works. But the built in Photoshop functionality does not. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Photoshop, resetting all preferences, and installing older versions. I have tried with different file formats and different folders on my HD. I have been using this process in my workflow for the last 10 years, and it simply isn't working on this device. The exact same steps work on the Apple M2 Macbook Pro I migrated from. Please let me know if anyone has any ideas I can try. Current system info:Photo

When I go to save for web, the default location is always the last place I saved a file, and not where the PSD file i'm working on is located. Is there a way to change the default location. This seems like a very bad UI decision. I don't remember it being like this previously. 

Generative fill is not working I have a copyright problem in photoshop, it always shows a message that the feature is not available when I use AI Generation Fill, even though I have used the copyright from adobe, so what is the problem with my feature. multiple tools acting wonky, e.g.,Burn Tool remembers its "path" prior tomouse left press which normally startsburn action, now the path gets burned, too.same issue with Quick Select & Remove tools;closing, reopening PS 2025 don't help;shutting down, rebooting don't help;saving between actions don't help; summary: tools are remembering where they'vebeen before left-mouse-press; normally tools actonly AFTER left mouse is pressed... WHAT SETTING DID I CHANGE BY MISTAKE?or do I need to delete & reload PS 2025?

When ever I open Photoshop 2024 (very latest version) it crashes giving me Error code: 14002.Can't find it mentioned anywhere, anyone have any ideas? I've re installed it, but no go.

I used to have 7 artboards on this file; however, during my working process, the system notified me that my laptop doesn't have enough RAM to save this. I switch the scratch disk to the D drive, and things work smoothly after that. Yesterday when I visited the file, all the artboards were still there, but today when I revisited the file, 4 had disappeared. I tried to close the file and also Photoshop, but nothing has changed. Is there anything I can do to get my work back?

My photoshop (the latest edition) suddenly started showing the "Home Screen" that has all of those annoying suggestions on it, recent files, etc.  I unchecked the "Auto Home Screen," checked the "use legacy new file" box, checked the "reset  preferences when quitting" box, then quit. The auto screen still comes up. I tried it again after first opening a file. Still the auto screen appears. Help.

I have read posts from 2021, 2022 about problems running Photoshop in Windows 11.  Can anyone tell me whether there are issues running the most current versions of Photoshop in Windows 11?

I have been using Photoshop for many years. I do basic editing, and removal of objects. Nothing special. But last week generative fill used to work, and now it doesnt. I would select a telephone line for example and hit generative fill, generate and NOTHING happens. So then i type in remove, still nothing happens. Suggestions to me have been to just use the remove tool and then clean it up. Generative fill was so good I could remove  a branch across a birds face and you couldnt even tell. I cant do that now.Upon investigation I learned about Rosetta so yes I unchecked the box. Still nothing. As of July 12th, I am updated in all versions from the cloud and desktop. My credits are 95/250 and I am mad i keep losing credits when nothing is working.I am mac m2.

When I activate "show backdrop", mode: in front and set the opacity to 100%; I get this error message: the backdrop settings are preventing the preview from showing image changes.As soon as I drop the opacity to like 85% it starts working again, but it's very distracting to work that way. It worked at one point and I can't tell when it stopped specifically.Hopefully, someone can help me to resolve this.I'm running Liquify as a smart filter, the layer I would like to see in front is a rasterized layer without a layer mask. My working space is in the Adobe RGB with 8bit color depth. I'm using the latest version of Photoshop on an iMac (macOS Mojave).

Hi everyone, I'm trying to use variable data in Photoshop to generate multiple cards, and I've successfully imported my Excel CSV file without any issues. The data appears correctly in the Data Sets under "Image > Variables > Data Sets." However, when I try to preview or apply a data set, I get the following error message: "Could not apply the data set because the replacement file was not found." All my variables are being read correctly, and the values show up in Photoshop's Data Sets panel. However, it seems like Photoshop isn't finding the linked files.

"In Adobe Photoshop 2025 version 26.0 and later, when recording actions with the 'Toggle Dialog On/Off' enabled, manually saving a file to a specific location does not follow the folder location of the previous save. Instead, the default save dialog that opens with each 'Save' action step defaults to the location saved during the action recording, rather than the folder location of the previously saved file. This is inconvenient and needs to be fixed. This issue is present in all versions of Adobe Photoshop 2025 from 26.0 onwards."

I am working on some fine art, nude photographs and whenever I try to use the 'Generative Expand' tool I get this message: "We encountered an issue with your results. Please view our guidelines and try again, or if you think this was an error, provide feedback." I have provided feedback several times but nothing ever changes and I never here from Adobe. WHat can I do to stop this from happening so that I can us e the generative expand feature?

I am creating a shape with the Rectangular Marquee tool and modifying it with Free Transform. However, when I checked I found a cut where I made the initial tool. I did not set a cut there but it is there anyway. I have added snapshots, what am I missing? 

I am trying to create and use data sets to fill a roster graphic. On this graphic, there are 60 total text boxes. 20 players, each player has a different name, number and position. When formatting it on Google Sheets, I have 6 columns to represent the visiting team, and home team with teach team getting 3 columns for that information.  Putting that into Photoshop, it has 10 different data sets. Is it possible to have it show up as 1 data set to populate all of the text boxes in order?  I figure its something that I am doing wrong on the CSV side but I do not know how to move forward. Most of the resources online show how to make things like badges or business cards which would fit this application well.    

Hey everyone, I’m having a big problem with Photoshop 2024. I’ll be working on something, and all of a sudden, it just closes by itself. No error message, no warning—just gone. It’s really annoying!I’ve tried updating my drivers, checking for Photoshop updates, and even resetting my settings, but it still happens. I don’t think my computer is the problem. Has anyone else had this issue? If you know a fix, please let me know. This is really messing up my work. Thanks!
