Is there a career path at Adobe for experienced product power users and domain experts without a coding background? I have 10+ years of real-world experience working professionally with Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and photography workflows. Over the years, I have identified many real-world workflow gaps, user problems, feature opportunities, and ideas that could improve Adobe products. I am also interested in contributing through product thinking, feature concepts, workflow analysis, user feedback, testing, and PRD-style product proposals. However, I do not come from an engineering or coding background. Does Adobe hire or work with experienced industry professionals like this who can contribute to product discovery, workflow improvement, feature development, UX research, product testing, or customer insights? If yes, which Adobe roles or teams would be the best fit for someone with this type of real-world product expertise? It would also be great if Adobe had a pathway where long-time
camera raw 18.5 randomly freezes, doesn't crash very slow compared to past few releases
After update, the action is just one point in the history.I can't see all the steps.Often, I only need to undo one or a few steps, not the entire action. How can I change this?
How do I fix Camera Raw Masking Select People
For some reason every time I open photoshop there is a weird yellow/tan filter over everything, not just the image, but it doesn't actually apply to the image when I export. Attached is a screenshot of what a blank white image appears as in photoshop and the same image as a png. As you can see it appears tan for some reason, is there a reason for this? Is there a solution for this?
When sampling an area with the clone stamp tool, upon clicking where you want to paint with the cursor, it automatically creates a paint line between sample and cursor. Sometimes the link isn’t even logical it’s just crazy and random and all over the place. Reset app, updated photoshop, reset clone stamp tool, reset preferences. I got a “scratch disk full” message once when opening so I deleted a bunch of stuff and it still has the issue.
Drawing and Painting in recent versions of Photoshop is ABSOLUTE Nightmare. What did you do to this software?!I have favourite Initial direction based brush which I worked with for years and I can not use it. Every each stroke it gives random brush angle and you have to redo each stroke every time you got wrong line which makes painting FRUSTRATING experience. Ok so you are lucky enough that you have some older version before ad0be remove it from CC. Version 2022 - cool, but when you hit key B and E while drawing then sometimes photoshop don’t record that key is pressed and when you expend to put a stroke you erase it and vice versa. Besides quick flipping canvas horizontal don’t center it and you have to pan canvas all the time.OK so you back to newest 26.x or 27.x versions out of frustration. You set up for brush smoothing 0. Initial direction works a bit better, you get much less random angle for first stroke, but as soon as you start using for example Lazy Nezumi addom to draw wit
Usually, RAM affects multitasking and large Photoshop files, while SSD affects loading, saving, and Scratch Disk performance.Which One Should You Upgrade? Photoshop slows down with large PSD files or many layers: Upgrade RAM. Files and Photoshop take a long time to open or save: Upgrade to an SSD, preferably NVMe. You run Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, and other apps together: More RAM can help. You want a balanced creative workstation: Consider 32GB DDR5 RAM + NVMe SSD. RAM vs. SSD for PhotoshopRAM = Active workspaceHelps Photoshop handle large files, layers, filters, and multitasking.SSD = Fast storageHelps with application loading, file transfers, saving, and Scratch Disk operations. For graphic designers, the best solution is often not RAM vs. SSD—it is having enough RAM combined with fast storage. If you're upgrading a creative workstation, first identify whether your bottleneck is memory capacity or storage speed.
Recenlty my Photoshop tool icons simply do not appear on the toolbar. they function fine but it is troublesome to find the right tool. The only way I could solve this is to reinstall photoshop but I cannot possibly do that every day.
Subject: Photoshop Cannot Open Canon EOS R5 Mark II CR3 RAW Files – Camera Raw File-Format Module ErrorHello Adobe Support Team,I am experiencing an issue when trying to open RAW image files (CR3) from a Canon EOS R5 Mark II camera in Photoshop. When I attempt to open a CR3 file, Photoshop displays the following error message:“Could not open ‘887A0503.CR3’ because the file-format module cannot parse the file.”The issue occurs in both the regular Photoshop release and the Photoshop Beta version, even though both Photoshop and Camera Raw are fully updated.System and Software InformationCamera: Canon EOS R5 Mark II File format: CR3 (Canon RAW) Photoshop: v27.9.1 Photoshop Beta: v27.11 Adobe Camera Raw: v18.5 Computer: MacBook Pro (2021) Operating System: macOS 26.6.2 (25G83)Problem DescriptionThe CR3 files produced by the Canon EOS R5 Mark II cannot be opened or parsed by Camera Raw in Photoshop. New update yesterday and new problem... After yesterday's update, I opened Creative Cloud for a plging I wanted to uninstall and surprise! half of the Plugings are missing!!! The PC is newly formatted, all clean installation, and now, PS update and again with problems. You will have to look a little more at what they do with the updates and how they manage the information and preferences we have, we can not waste the time fixing problems that should not occur, put a little more love, simulate the updates, I do not know, do something, I´m wasting too many hours.
In Photoshop 2026 (v27.9.1), when exporting a jpg using the “Save for Web” interface, color profiles are not being embedded even after checking the option. Works just fine in Photoshop 2025.
I've been working with PixelLab for creating simple graphics and text based designs, and I'm trying to find a better workflow for taking those designs into Photoshop for more advanced editing.I'm particularly interested in keeping the image quality as good as possible when moving from PixelLab to Photoshop. I'm also wondering whether it's better to export as PNG, use a higher resolution canvas, or use another format before opening the design in Photoshop.I've been working with PixelLab resources and versions as well, and came across PixellabHub while looking for resources related to the app: For anyone who uses both PixelLab and Photoshop, what workflow would you recommend for getting the best quality and flexibility when moving a design from one to the other?
I signed up for a free trial of a pdf editor and canceled it less than 30 minutes later. Then next month rolls around and charges go out of my account and it says my account is still active despite being canceled. Ive struggled to get in contact with anyone to process a refund
I updated Photoshop 2025 yesterday which apparently came with a camera raw update. The denoise in camera raw stops after 15-25 percent then does not reactivate on the raw file when selected.
I recently downloaded the latest Photoshop update and now none of my drivers/processors are compatible to allow me to edit in camera raw. After digging around and trying to update drivers, I realized I need windows 11 and will have to buy a new laptop to be compatible with the new update. Can I uninstall the update and install an older version? Which version is the last to work well with windows 10?
Last week it began returning unexpected results when tasked with fixing a small area. I noticed two things:First: it can’t help but hallucinate. It will reliably return a snake, a bow and arrow, a jar of something or what not. Usually in situations were it used to reliably fill in a texture perfectly and out perform Firefly Fill & Expand.Second, it seems to have lost the ability to seamlessly retian texture over a small area. Often it comes back mangled or oversharpened if it doesn’t have an ice pick or a toaster thrown in.Anyone else seeing this? It seemed like a pretty sudden server side thing so please please please don’t ask me to post 10 pages of my system info efectively killing this thread.
I was using the Filter Aberration parametric filter extensively and suddenly stopped working. I’ve tried everything I can think of to get it working, but it just won’tAll of the other parametric filters work just fine, but when I click on the Filter Aberration Chromatic nothing happens, over and over.I’ve tried all of the following:Reset preferences Delete preferences Restore Default Filters from the Parametric Filters flyout menu Upgrade to newest version of Photoshop (currently on 27.9.1) Uninstall and reinstall Photoshop Update my graphics drivers to the most current (RTX 4070 Laptop w/ drivers dated July 22, 2026) I’ve tried on numerous files, including low res files Plenty of web searches looking for solutionsI can open and edit the Filter Aberration Chromatic properties on my existing files, but I can’t ever seem to get it working with new files. Is there anything else I can try?Any temporary files or something that the parametric filters use that maybe I can delete? After the 27.5 update, when Photoshop is closed, it stays active in RAM. The same applies to opening and closing individual documents. I have 32 GB of RAM, and if I open several documents—for example, using up 16 GB of RAM—and then close one of them, the consumed memory does not decrease; it remains in memory. It gets to the point where, after an hour of work, RAM usage reaches 29–30 GB. And after closing Photoshop, the memory is not freed until you manually terminate the process in Task Manager. Also, until you end the process via Task Manager, you cannot restart Photoshop. I recorded this issue on video, which can be viewed here: https://youtu.be/j0nvMCQoCis System Info: Adobe Photoshop Version: 27.5.0 20260323.r.13 dee573e x64 (final, Release)Number of Launches: 165Operating System: Windows 11 64-bitVersion: 11 or greater 10.0.26200.8246System architecture: AMD CPU Family:15, Model:1, Stepping:0, AVX2, HyperThreadingPhysical processor count: 6Logical processor count: 12Processor sp
When using the remove tool , as in these two example images, the new image information created by the remove tool is more pixelated and lower rez than the image being edited. See the before and after images where I am removing the road and Semi. I have used REMOVE for years, and this is a new problem. Any ideas for how to fix this?
PS 27.8.0An error message pops immediately upon choosing the local device option for Remove Tool processing.GPU has 12 (just under 12) of ram on the card which is higher than listed requirements for this.Checked sys info and PS sees the GPU’s ram so I’m not sure where the disconnect is in the ram check sparking this error. Attached. screenshot showing error message and portion of sys info scrolled to gpu data seen.
This bug has been reported before, but persists, making editing arduous. It only became a problem recently, so I feel it is a version issue, say after 25 or so. I have not downgraded as of yet, but may have no choice. After a few touch ups (nothing major, like skin blemish), the tool will freeze and then memory use will ramp up until entirely maxed out (64 GB). I see it in the Task Manager graph. After about two minutes (if a person was willing to wait), a dialog box pops up saying there is no more memory to complete task. When closed, I can save the image and proceed. This has happened each and every time I edit an image and I cannot go more than 5 uses before this happens. I contacted support over the phone and was told to increase memory usage under performance. I does not help and resetting preferences also does not help. This issue needs to be fixed as I feel the remove tool is one of the core tools users now rely on. If it would be helpful to d
The Remove Tool freezes during processing and leaves the pink Remove Tool overlay stuck on screen. Photoshop becomes unusable and will not accept normal input. This has happened three times in two days. It happened once yesterday and twice today.Clicking anywhere in the Photoshop window only triggers the Windows exclamation sound. Alt Tab does not show any hidden Photoshop dialog or error window. The application appears trapped in the Remove Tool operation. This happened during active production work, after a significant amount of unsaved retouching. I work on very large PSB files but have 128 GB RAM.Steps to reproduce:Open a PSB file. Use the Remove Tool on an image area. Wait for the Remove Tool to process. Photoshop freezes with the pink Remove Tool overlay still visible. This does not always freeze. It only freezes randomly and unfortunately after a significant amount of other retouching work. Expected result:The Remove Tool should complete normally. If it fails, the operation should
