Would be cool to be able to group artboards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is there any way Adobe could impliment a way to edit artboards easily like in Illustrator? I don't mean in terms of size changes, but in Illustrator I've found it really convenient when you can make as many artboards that you need, for example: creating social media carousels, and then you can go into the artboard tool and edit the spacing inbetween each board and how it's laid out. I was hoping Photoshop had a similar feature but it doesn't which makes it a bit more tedious when I do have to build out certain social graphics on there. If there's any way to add that to Photoshop, I'd love that
The purpose of this proposal is to request the addition of Network Device Interface (NDI) output functionality to the Photoshop software, specifically aimed at enabling the real-time output of the Photoshop canvas for projection mapping purposes. Projection mapping has become an integral part of stage productions, concerts, and other live events, as it allows artists to transform any surface into a dynamic canvas, enhancing storytelling and immersing audiences in captivating visual narratives. By incorporating NDI output capabilities solely for the Photoshop canvas, artists and designers will be empowered with a seamless workflow for creating and editing projection maps directly within the software. This integration will eliminate the need for external applications or complex workarounds, streamlining the production process and providing a more efficient solution for the entertainment/theatre industry. The key benefits and reasons to add NDI output of the Photoshop canvas are as f
Let's face it: we often rename our layers at the end of a project, when we know that a colleague or client will need access to our work 🫣Why not implement automatic layer renaming using AI?Today's generative AIs are capable of describing the content of an image, and therefore potentially of a layer? And we can force it to give a simplified name, to avoid long names. It might not be perfect, but for a composition of a hundred layers, it would save an incredible amount of time, whatever the software (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator...).And we'd no longer be ashamed to show off our layers 😛
In a K12 environment, we have students that use Certiport Compass and GMetrix certification testing software that requires specific versions of Adobe to be installed. In some of our schools, students do not know English as their primary language and test better in their native language. We would like for the ability to grant language changing access in Creative Cloud, without the ability to manage app updates. If they are given the ability to manage app updates, they can no longer revert to a version of the app that is compatible with the certification testing software.
Would be nice to be able to select several layers andf relink to new external file....
Hi all: Are there any Gen Fill keyboard shortcuts yet? One to make the textbox for the prompt active and one to navigate the through the variations? ~Barb
I want the old share option back!!!!! for me to be useless is the "share for revision" option; moreover, since photoshop, lightroom classic e lightroom are part of the same ecosystem, why they don't offer the same functions of sharing? And last but non least, why is not possible to switch from Photoshop to LRC or from LR to Photoshop without close the file and open the app?
With cameras continuing to increase in megapixel count, it would be nice to natively have CameraRaw/Lightroom be able to work with images over 512MP or 65,000 pixels long. I understand some limitations are with the jpg file format, but when it comes to TIFF or PSB, having native support in LR would be greatly appreciated.
I am a leftie and a student, so I have to jump between my own PC and a school PC often. Please, please please please let me save my keybinds to the cloud. I usually move my keybinds so that they are easier to reach with the right shift. But this would just be a good idea in general for other people who have to move between computers often, and not necessarily the same computers. (For the record, my school has the PCs reset their data every 24h, so it would be pointless to even try to adjust settings and use the same one)😞 Not really a feature just for Photoshop, but this is where I run into the issue the most. ppppppplllllleeeeeeeaaaaaasssseeeeee
I can use programs such as Blender, Unity, Unreal Engine at a professional level. Previously I was passing everything using paint.net. I realized that I could not create a professional work with paint.net, so I said to myself that it was time to learn Photoshop. It's been a week and I press the "space" button and the windows bar at the top left opens by mistake like "minimize".. I'm having these incredible problems; I don't know why the arc warp doesn't bend into 2 points but only one point. When I paste a selection, it creates a layer on itself, not inside the layer. I'm trying to paste a small graphic onto the character's clothing by bending it, and I haven't been able to use things like "warp" and "free transform" properly for 3 days. A complete fiasco...Even though there are so many fans and users of the program, as a simple software developer, I found the program extremely unusable, clunky, and dysfunctional. Everything seems to be done in extremely indirect ways.&
if I open a blank canvas, I'd like to be able to post a prompt to have Firefly create something.
Please add a SOLO layer toggle like we have in AE!!! SHIFT/CTRL DOES THE TRICK!!!!
I speak for the collective modern and long time userbase of Mac Photoshop users. It is my hope that someone from Adobe actually deeply considers this. This thread was created 12 years ago. At the time, macOS (or OSX at the time) was fertile, young, and foreign to designers. It is understandable that conflicts of interest arose when Adobe had to consider adding OSX Lion's newly introduced full screen mode. For 12 long years, I have existed in that thread, trying hard to prove that users wanted this feature. Admittedly, the upvote count and userbase at the time was a lot smaller. An easy answer was provided at the time in 2012, stating this feature would step on the toes of current power users, removing functionality. It is my concern that since then, although the thread is frequently updated with more and more users still clamouring for this feature, Adobe skips over it because it was marked as "solved" with a "correct answer". Below, I shall demonstrably prove that this feature is an
Hopefully I've recieved the full context for lasso use, but no where does it seem obvious the ability to copy a completed lasso path and paste it onto another image, you can only copy' paste the cutout of the image it creates from the selection, what if there was a way to copy just the outline? I believe it's possible because using Actions has shown me the points they create are saved (once completed), similar to the pen tools. Another topic, that merges well, what if we could change the draw/eraser "head" to the exact proportions of a completed path (any kind) and use it at will (through means of a new tool perhaps)? For personal needs this is useful because then I can make quick work of the many images (500+) I have pending manual editing, by halving it; I'll be re-applying from one photo with a"cloned path" once for every other image I have stocked in my folders. As it is now, the time between each photo (2) is 3-5min for a total of 6-8min each and every time. If by implem
I suggest that add more brushes in Adobe Photoshop. Thanks
Please consider adding a button/icon on the Contextual Task Bar to "Save Selection". This would make it so much easier than going through the menu or right-clicking the selection. Thank you in advance for taking a look.
Please add ruler to filter liquify, this will help an accurate distance or size modification.
Hello,I very often have content on a layer that I liquify via filter and then I need to liquify the layermask afterwards, to get the same overlay. I do it by applying the last filter that was used. (ctrl+cmd+F). This way the mask gets liquified the same way as the actual pixles on the layer. This works perfect but I think not on masks of adjustment layers. The mask gets liquified but in a different shape. Is there a better way to do this or can this be integrated?
Please add text case control in next update!
Touchpad gesture support for PC has been missing since forever, depite full support for Mac touch pads at least since I first started on photoshop back in 2008. They've implemented those same pan, rotate, zoom gestures for PC based touch screens, so why can't the exact same gestures be implemented for PC mouse touchpads? Many PCs have percision touchpads that are even better than the ones Macs use, and so many other apps have full PC touchpad gesture support, so why wont adobe impliment it already?
You have the ability to select the Subject - but you don't have the ability to select the background as the subject. You can ONLY apply generative fill to the selected subject. I want to simply change the background... it SHOULDN'T be brain surgery to do this This is what I'm experiencing: Open a picture Select the desired item - this creates a mask of the item Now the system seems to figure out what tools can then be applied, and automatically disables them. Not even the eyedropper works. This is what I'd like to do Open a picture Select the desired item - this creates a mask of the item Tell generative fill to fill in the background Combine the generated background with the desired item I've spent HOURS trying to get backgrounds changed on ONLY 2 pictures....so hate to say it but this AI stuff is crap... Example prompt: Fill the back
I have suggested this before, but it would be really handy of when I opened a file in Photoshop, copy it, and paste it onto another open Photoshop document, it would automatically name the layer with the name of the copied file. Or, if I gave the file a name (changed Background to a name), Photoshop would use that name instead. Calling it layer 1 is fine if it is a new, empty layer, but if the file has a name, why not have it automatically get entered? This would save me lots of time renaming layers. PS not sure I am being forced to pick a topic from this limited list, as none actually apply….
