I would suggest adding a feature in Camera RAW to allow users to apply a feature with one 'select all' and 'apply watermark' feature; such as a mask the user can create like presets. I understand that this can be done using Lightroom; however being the user, I would find it most convenient to be able to do all of my work in one program.
i miss being able to just airdrop or save to photos or directly send a text from the main screen.
Most of the Layer Style Effects (stroke, drop shadow, etc.) appear under Effects on the Layers palette with an eyeball that can be clicked off/on. However, there is no eyeball for Blending Options, no way to easily toggle just Blending Options off/on without opening the Layer Style panel and unchecking the Preview box. If there are multiple effects, I can turn off/on all the effects with the eyeball next to Effects, but if Blending Options is the only effect, there is no eyeball, just the overlapping boxes icon next to the layer name. It would make my life easier and save time if Blending Options could be toggled off/on more easily. It could have an eyeball like the other Layer Style Effects. Or, if we could click the overlapping boxes icon and turn Blending Options off/on that way. Thanks for considering this.
Usecase: you export an equirectangualar panorama e.g. from Midjourney to Photoshop and want to create a seamless entire 360 sphere out of it. You want to blend in both edges in each other or want to create AI input in the picture: currently it does not blend in the actual layer but creates another layer above that is not attached to the sphere. It would be great if I can use the generative fill in the 3D view and this fill stays attached to the panoramic sphere. 3D creation will be an very important topic here -> e.g. for using this as HDRI backdrop in Unreal EnginePhotoshop should be THE tool for that.Best,Markus
WebP file format is available through "Save As/Save a Copy" command, but not in Save for Web system. Having WebP file format as an option in the Save for Web interface, with the option to have compression results compared to other file formats before saving would be #IMHO quite useful. ThanX!
sometimes there are holes in a selection. Why cant you just delete them in a easy way_
The Contextual Task bar is a pain... It moves around the screen instead of staying at the bottom of the screen. You need to be able to select its location and it stays there..It would also be nice if it could be reshapable - square for instance...
If there is a "department of animation" in the Photoshop group at Adobe, they have definitely been given an extended leave-of-absence, for it seems there have been no improvements in either features or the intuitive ability to apply them, in like, forever. Why is it that "how to animate rotation" is such a popular google search with dozens of complicated answers? You guys are the software geniuses, isn't it YOUR job to make this easier?
problem with object removal
Bring the Adobe Illustrator actual glyph measuring (to align and resize) into Photoshop.https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/resize-text-layer-based-on-actual-bounding-box/m-p/14040852#M750712
Hello. As a photographer, I edit my pictures first in a non-adobe software, then I fine-tune my hero shots in photoshop. I need them all in both .TIF and .JPG. The quickest way I found for that is to save them at first as .TIFF.Then I had two options : A shortcut for quick export, but it doesn't save the best quality JPG so... Save all the TIFF and then run the batch process. Then I have to browse through the explorer to have my images in the same folder (batch export creates one even if I select "save in the same location"). This is a long and uneffective process. As a photographer, what I would ideally need is being able to save in one shortcut :- 16bits Tif- Max quality JPEG- Large Web JPEG(- Small Web JPEG)All with the EXIF ! (That's important and it somehow disappears with the batch process/quick export). Indeed, I think we should be able to register in the software a multi-save pattern. This would record the settings and we would just
For years I have wished to be able to save the guides & grids settings into psd file.I work with different sized grids in different files, so I have to manually write down grid size and go to settings each time I switch files. Also the grid settings could be available in seaparate window always for quick edit. Going into preferences is pain. Grid size should be document based, not general photoshop settings.
Often times while working with generative fill, I encounter many generated examples that would fit my criteria, but the position or direction is completely wrong. The problem I see the most is that objects or scenery is rightfully interpreted (form, color, purpose) but in what direction its looking is completely wrong or my initial coordination filled in is incorporated inside the object and not the coordination I planned it out for. I believe an extra text box for directions or rotation could be very useful.
Hello Everybody,I would like the option for the Generated Fill item to NOT include merging the existing background. For example, today I entered in the Generate prompt to give me a tree in between two houses. I wanted to be able to fine-tune the tree so I can move it around the yard so that I can place it exactly where I want it to be. However, the generated tree incorporates some of the background of the house, such as a window. So I can't move the tree around -- even a little bit. I suggest in the Single Adjustment panel, there can be an option to turn off incorporating the background in the generated image.Thank you!Rowby
Often I'm working on screenshots for documentation, where you need to go back and forth from the application to photoshop, and update small sections – especially where you have made a mistake, or such like. What would be really useful would be to be able to just paste, and have the pasted content automatically paste into the right place, without having to manually nudge, change the opacity to and from, etc, etc. If the content looks similar, or looks like it could be a portion of the whole, just place it in the right place. Maybe it would be called "Smart Paste" or something. Thanks!
I'd like to see the Contextual Task Bar be pinned, but also move to the location of the selection when using the generative fill feature. Once the selection has been filled, the bar should return to where the user originally pinned it.
Re: changes to the Gradient tool. Please! You took a tool I use constantly, daily, and made it frustrating and annoying. Make the new circle overlay go away. It makes it harder, not easier, to visualize what I'm doing. It's really in the way. If you must have it, simply provide a box to uncheck so I can hide it as a default setting for the tool. I could already make a separate gradient layer via the adjustment layers, but in most cases I DO NOT want a separate layer, I want to use the gradient to draw directly on a layer mask, or in my case, on a special non-destructive dodge and burn layer (a layer filled with 50% gray, set to soft light blending mode) The Beta insists even in 'Classic' mode, on making a new layer. Extremely frustrating. Again, if you think this is something users will like, at least give us a choice and allow us to set with or without a new layer as a default tool preference.
I’m adding this as an “idea” conversation because I’m sure adding it as a “bug” would be useless. And I honestly don’t remember how long this has been going on. So let’s call this an “idea” to make Photoshop behave correctly. If one drags out a guide, at any scale, it displays its position down to the tenth of a pixel. But... There’s no such thing as any fraction of a pixel! PERIOD! So this is a suggestion to stop that from happening. Why is this valuable to me? 1) My sanity. 2) Try teaching students that a pixel is the smallest part of a raster image and then pulling out a guide on a 72" screen, where the decimal guide position is clearly visible. BTW: yes, I know that I can hold down shift and “snap” to whole pixel measurements. But I shouldn’t have to do that — if someone thinks they have a use for a decimal pixel guide, THEY should have to hold down shift, while the rest of us live in the real world where a pixel is defined as the smallest part of a raster image
Would be great to be able to add gradients to BG of artboard, and also an image or other PSD/AI file, added to the current selections.
I spent 30 minutes in the latest update discovering how to change the default text/paragraph direction from right-to-left over to left-to-right. It's great Adobe streamlined how language is rendered to the Unified Text Engine. It's not intuitive to discover this as part of "Presentation" under UI language within the Interface options. I guess I understand how the two are linked as de facto defaults, but why exactly? If it's all the same, just let Type and/or the Paragraph panel be the way to set the default regardless, like how most of the other panel settings are; it's more visible to just see which LTR/RTL is selected, and select the one you need, and you're done. No more fidgeting around w English/English w Arabic enabled, restarting the app, etc etc etc. Just see it, set it, forget it. And when needed it, change it by "click", and continue. The button's already there.
Quando dou duplo clique em cima da texto nao dá opção de digitar. Isso atrapalha muito o fluxo do trabalho
It would be great to be able to scale the Add Noise filter in Photoshop! Grain and Texturizer don't quite do the same thing, and the roundabout way of adding noise to a grey layer, scaling duplicating using multiply / screen settings - is obviously a real pain. It seems like such a simple but critical function for high-end retouchers.
Please allow the option to show Rulers on all sides of documents.
waiting for generative fill to finish can be either boring and some editors might works on multiple devices/softwares while waiting generative fill to finish, what if we add sound when Generative Fill done processing?
