Hi everybody, I work on a 15" MBP and screen size is persistently a thing. One item in Photoshop that has not overgone any change in change since...I think I've used it it is Layer Style panel. There is so much dead space in this window that covers canvas and other settings while making adjustments to layer styles. It would be really nice if Adobe took some time to economize this window some. Off-hand, there are few things they could nip and tuck in this window to make it less cumbersome. e.g. the space on the right of the style buttons as well as the style settings, and a whole row of space at the top dedicated to the name of the layer/folder (which doesn't really need to be there). If Adobe could make this window more laptop-size friendly that would be really nice. Thanks for reading.
Once an object/content is created by the AI, it could be interesting to have an easy and quick tool (maybe in the regulations panel) to easily adjust saturations, tone curves, and so on.
The jpg artifact removal neural filter does a wonderful job, but it would be nice to have a preview. As it currently behaves, as soon as you turn the neural filter switch on, it automatically starts processing at the highest strength. If I want to compare the results of each strength, I need to run them all separately, and perhaps output them all to their own layers, and deleting the two that aren't the best. Ideally, the user could select an area of their layer to preview, and photoshop would remove artifacts from just that area, and ask which strength to complete the task with. This would save me a great deal of time; running this filter on a M2 Ultra mac studio can still take a minute or longer, depending on the size of the image. Currently, if you wanted to run the filter on each strength and choose the best output, you'd need to wait at least three minutes to do so. That really breaks my flow when I'm using the program.Furthermore, it's easy to break ph
I was never really sure what the "Smaller File (8-Bit)" option did in the Export As window until I read up on the PNG format. For the longest time I was confused becuase I assumed the "8-Bit" there meant 8 bits/channel, which is usually what people mean when they say that. And also many people see the 8 bits/channel mode in the Image > Mode menu. I would never have guessed that it meant 8-bits worth of color indices in a palette, therefore only 256 colors total. Even after reading how PNG has a few modes such as indexed pallete vs TrueColor, the "8-Bit" wording is still confusing. And the "smaller file" wording implies a kind of compression, and doesn't nearly convey the magnitude of the change, going from 16 million colors to just 256. The current wording also doesn't make it obvious why semi-transparent pixels are changed to opaque. Changing it to say "256 Colors" should solve all of these and make it immediately obvious what the option does. And I came across
Would you consider adding an AI-powered feature that lets people generate faces by combining two photos? Also a face swapping feature is helpful.
It would be great, if we could isolate artboards (like in illustrator), so that "generative fill" (and other things) would not try to take the other artboards into account. Right now i generate a smartobject for the background - but since this then has to fit into the different artboards, there is a lot of moving around involved whenever i change this background. Oh - and of course i'm open to other ideas concerning this issue 😉
I'd love to see a neural filter that could simulate a reflection on a layer and distort it based on the layer if that makes sense. For example see the attached image. The door in the background is a reflective surface so if you could duplicate the layer with the products, distort them based on the underlying image of the door with it's raised images and create a reasonable reflection of the image or just transmit the color that would be good. Perhaps an option to just transmit the main color would be good - so around the purple bottle of liquid a hint of purple as if light through the bottle hit the door. Another possibility might be to allow a layer to be affect the Outer Glow effect. I can do this manually of course and create believable results but it takes time and a 'good enough' result using a filter would be useful for some images.
I know this is beta, but you should be aware that in this version, when using a Wacom tablet the brush tool remains at 100% hardness regardless of brush properties settings. It does fine when editing with a mouse.
The field blur is useful, but far to difficult to use efficiently. I would like to see it enhanced to provideSet the blur amount to a value that is persistent so additional pins they DON'T go back to 15 px.Enable duplicating pins so a user can create multiple pins with the same blur QUICKLY.Enable selecting multiple pins so they can be moved or COPIED as a group. The other filters in the blur gallery could use equivalent enhancement.
It would be great if Adobe adds more shapes in the beta version like stars, moon phases and the sun
Hi,Generative ai tools must haves:negative prompt, initializer fidelity (a ratio that how the initial view in the area affects the generation)prompt fidelity.
Here's a nice feature from Affinity which Photoshop lacks. It's a live color range mask editable anytime (like an Adjustment layer or the Blend if). the screenshots are from today's Viktor Fejes Youtube stream
If I am using Photoshop as a local install, I of course can open a local file that syncs with a Google Drive or Amazon S3 storage. Due to production/security concerns in my industry, only having the CC storage as an option for web-based photoshop use is an obstacle. I would love to remove the need for having a powerful local machine. Ideally, open Photoshop or Premiere for web, link a google drive or amazon s3 account, access any file from those repositories to work on them in a TEMPORARY Adobe CC space and when files are saved and/or exported the G-drive/S3 will be updated and all temp files are removed from the Adobe CC storage system.
I've noticed there's a decent number of words that are "Against Community Guidelines." However, many aren't wrong and limit creative freedom with the new Generative AI. For example, "zombie" is a word that's not allowed. I understand specific terms, but maybe the list could be looked over.
I HATE HATE HATE that your updates cause my files to save to the cloud when I have set my prefs to my computer.
It would be great if you could add to Photoshop the standard macOS save dialog, before allowing cloud documents (PSDC) to be closed. For documents that I save locally, I will often make a few exploratory changes and then close the document to "back out" of committing to those changes (by choosing "Don't Save" in the standard macOS "Save" dialog). The other day I closed without saving, a file that I had saved in the cloud, and was distraught to learn that there was no such confirmation message before closing. All the changes I had made (but didn't want to keep) were automatically saved into the cloud-based document. I lost an hour of work--it could have been worse. In the meantime I will not be saving documents to the Adobe Cloud any more. (I have plenty of Apple iCloud storage.) Thank you for considering this interoperability tweak.
This is all amazing and fun to explore. It would be really great if, when generating AI content, you could pick one of the many results that pop up and have the AI focus and expand on that particular concept while ignoring the others each time you click generate. This way, you can really hone in on a certain look you are trying to achieve. Thanks and again, amazing work..
Remove tool is One of The Best Feature in Photoshop and This tool Replace other Many Tool in Photoshop and So Fast Work... Plz Add Feature in Remove Tool-- Mouse Right Click and Selection Size Increase/Decrease(+ -)Like This [ ] Using
Now that we are using AI i would love to see a option where we type remove foot steeps from the sand or remove all leaves from grass without having to use the spot tool like the option we have to remove a table with AI but to clean the image without damaging or changing the image other then cleaning it up. By that i mean if you select the beach and need foot steps removed not regenerate the sand to have not foot steps just remove the steps hope that makes since. something like identify all steps on sand select and remove steps to clean sand.
I'd really like to tell the AI to use a perspective and scale. I have tried for a long time giving text like "using the perspective, orthogonal, dimetric projection and 2D. viwer is looking down on the image from above" It kind of understands, but I'd say it's 1 in three and the more specific I am the more confused it gets.so how about commands to do with the perspective go within some punctuation, for example *orthogonal, dimetric projection, 2D* a house by a lake with two threes on a suny day. maybe this sort of thing has already been discussed and someone can point me to it.
It would be so very nice to have a "link values" button for the margin on the new guide layout dialogue box, similar to, for instance, the "link together corner radius values" feature. It's incredibly minor, I know, but I just got to thinking of the cumulative time spent copy-pasting the same value over and over when so many other features in Adobe products have that button built in.
if you can improve converting the images to hand sketch drawing that will be amazing
Hi Team, This is Srikanth Banda (personal detail removed by moderator). I have been working on Generative Fill. Giving exact command in the generative fill according to its own AI command is making diffcult to get our imagination. Auto Sentence commands in Generative Fill will work better than our own commands.
I love using the Pattern Preview function for standard straight match repeats. I would love to see a half drop function available for patterns, it would make my life so much easier and I know the entire textiles industry would use it among others.
Hi, I work a lot with photoshop to create seamless textures from textile images, it would really help if photoshop would implement AI for creating seamless tiles from an uploaded image. Now I need to mannually make my tiles seamless by: offset and then stamping the sides of the images to make the edges blend in each other. Would love to have this be easier! Thanks, Saskia Roturier
