Photoshop

I can't use generative AI with my Photoshop v26.11 today. Every time when I try to generate or remove something, it keeps saying 'We've encountered an issue and can't complete your request at this time. Please try again later'. My collegue's Photoshop has had the same problem. Anyone knows what has caused such issue? It's not the first time but usually it would be back to narmal in less than an hour. But not this time, it hasn't worked for more than six hours already. Pretty frustrating...

PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE… FIX this error!I get this error a lot with the Liquify and Camera Raw Filters.  I also upgraded to your latest PS version and it’s slow and filters don’t work correctly and it generally [cursing removed], thus I downgraded to PS 27.6!I pay $70 a month for the “privilege” of using Adobe products and this particular error has been prevalent for the last year.  Please FIX THIS ERROR before creating [cursing removed] !Nolan Win 10 box, 64GB ram, 40-50 TB Drives with serious thoughts of moving to Linux.Professional Photographer full time since 1984. I am working on a project and have ran into a couple of issues. See below:How to edit an old image to make it focused when it’s blurry? How to edit an image to remove a braid that is caught between a person’s glasses? I don’t want to move the braid because it will be obvious that something is missing. Just trying to make a clean edit. 

When I open Photoshop the camera raw filter either only works one time or not at all. In beta it used to work just fine now it does the same thing. I have reset preferences several times, same problems.

Hi everyone,I’m experiencing a recurring issue where Photoshop 2026 (Windows) consistently crashes about 5 minutes after launching. The app starts normally, I can begin working, but then it either freezes or closes unexpectedly.I checked the logs and found several repeated errors that seem related to Adobe services rather than a direct Photoshop crash. The most frequent messages include:“User Signed Out” “There is no valid user profile to get an access token” “Error fetching IMS access token” “CCXProcess timed out” “Failed to get data from CCXProcess” “Unable to find user in api.json”I have also attached two log files for reference in case they help identify the issue more precisely.What I have already tried:Clearing cache Clearing preferences Checking for updates of my GPUThe issue still persists. Every window or tab opens really zoomed out and barely visible like this. How do I make it just open normally?

Hi everyone,I’m having a frustrating display issue in Photoshop and I’m hoping someone can help me figure out what’s causing it.Whenever I zoom in or out of an image in Photoshop, the canvas briefly turns completely black for a few seconds before returning to the image. It happens consistently enough to interrupt my editing workflow.I initially thought it might be related to the image file itself, but it happens with both TIFF and JPEG files, so it doesn't appear to be file-format specific.What I've already tried:Disabled Use Graphics Processor in Photoshop Preferences.Restarted Photoshop and the computer.Tested with both TIFF and JPEG files.Checked my Photoshop settings for anything related to GPU/display performance.The issue still occurs even with the graphics processor disabled.I'm currently using a Dell Precision 5530 with an NVIDIA Quadro P2000 and Intel UHD 630 graphics.I'm also using the latest version of Photoshop available to me through Creative Cloud, but I'm checking again

I am running the latest Mac version of Photoshop (27.10) in MacOS Tahoe, yet every time I restart my computer I get a message that Intel apps will no longer be supported in MacOS27 Golden Gate and certain features of Photoshop 26 will no longer work in that version of the OS. Several months ago I reinstalled PS and was very careful to download the version for Apple CPUs.I don’t understand why I continue to get this message. I hope it is just useless crud left behind from previous installs of PS and will have no effect on my work. Please advise.Charlie

Locked out of photoshop, whenever i try to open the app i'm told i must sign out of a device to continue ( I only use one) then im told to resolve the issue on adobe.com, and the link provided does not work ( error the request could not be satisfied ). Can i please use the service i pay for.

I am experiencing significant issues with the Adobe Firefly Model 5 in Photoshop version 27.10. Compared to previous versions, the model’s performance has declined considerably. I prefer using the native model over partner models, as the latter often result in lower resolution and image displacement after generation. Additionally, I have noticed that the specific brightness tool I rely on is missing, and the current "Light" tool does not provide the same functionality or results. Could you please advise on how I can restore the previous behavior or locate these missing tools in the current version?

Hi. My problem is that Photoshop Print Menu is not showing the Epson ICC Profiles. I deinstalled and reinstalled the Epson driver, updated the firmware etc and it made it worse. The print menu now is not only missing the ICC Profiles, it is also missing some sections, plus a bogus menu comes instead of the original one. It wont even read the custom paper sizes. Even if I hit print, it won't print due to a 'missing software' issue. Anyone?

Hello,I'm trying to delete a layer to replace the background (to fill the tablecloth with a pattern), but when I delete it, the space is not empty (I mean, there is no usual chessboard, but some random colour)... How could I solve it?ps. please, don't judge the drawing, I'm learning!

Photoshop 2026 27.2macOS Tahoe 26.2 Photoshop does not automatically append file extension when saving. According to this help article there are supposed to be options.And those options are missing, not sure since when. Previously in version 27.1 (and macOS Tahoe 26.1), even if I deliberately remove .jpg from the filename when I save, Photoshop would append .jpg, and would ask whether to overwrite if file already exists.

In Lightroom - photo - edit in - open as layers in photoshop.I assigned “command - O” as a shortcut.After updating to the 2026 version of photoshop my shortcut still opens in photoshop 2025, which I cannot even find in my launchpad since updating.If I go through the tool bar instead of the shortcut it still opens in the 2025 version.I’d like to use the latest and greatest but I can’t get anything in there other than dragging.  Does anyone know WTF is happening?

Is L (Lightness) 0–255? Or 0–100?Searching online says the range is 0–100, but when I look at Photoshop, isn’t it usually 0–255?For A, is it green and red, or magenta? Why do different sources or regions describe it differently, with some people saying it represents red?What do positive and negative values mean?Why does a negative value represent green, while a positive value represents magenta?

Every time I paste a text multiple times, the app crashed. Thought it’s from a font I installed on creative cloud but even after removing it, the app still crashed. Any idea why?

When I'm typing a line of text, if I have punctuation at the end of the line it moves it to the beginning of the line. I'm using CS6.

Everytime I try and open a file saved from photoshop, it doesn’t let me, and keeps giving me the error in the image. It happens when I try and open from my Adobe Cloud AND from my files on my laptop saved from photoshop. The button “Learn how to fix” is not useful and isn’t helping me fix the issue. I’ve tried restarting my laptop, using an older version of photoshop, uninstalling and re-installing the latest photoshop updates, and using the web version, but no luck.

I downloaded the latest version of Photoshop for work the other day, and I am unable to even create a new blank template without the entire program crashing. Is this a common issue with the new release? I’ve updated my graphics card, uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times, and am now attempting to revert to an older version because I have work I need to do.This is an insane amount of hassle for the cost of a subscription.

This happens when I highlight a section of text, go to Character, type a font name, and press Return (Enter). The text block then turns completely grey, and I have to find a way to turn it off. Sometimes it even gets stuck on the screen when I minimize Photoshop.I just bought a new Mac Air M5 expecting a better experience than my old Windows laptop, but then I ran into this bug. Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it? It's really ruining my experience on Mac.I’m using Photoshop version 27.9.1If I don't search for fonts and just select them manually, it doesn't happen.Someone literally told me to '"just quit the habit of searching for fonts." and I was like, 'WTF is that?" I shouldn't have to change my entire workflow just because of a bug.
