i want to be able to select the vanishing point directly inside the image and get a gpu supported real-time preview
If this hasn't been asked for already I am flummoxed!! At present the only way of applying filters with different masks to a smart object (say a sharpening followed by a background blur) is to apply the sharpening (with a mask) to the smart object, convert this to a smart object and apply the blur (with a mask) to this smart object. Not only does this make the workflow confusing (since some of the edits are hidden) but it also increases the size of the file considerably. If masks could be applied to individual filters this really messy situation would disappear. PLEASE INCLUDE THIS SOON!! Smart objects are a great idea ... but you seem to have done an initial cut and now you are doing nothing to make it into a more useful and mature feature.
imagine the AI can understand the nature of the object in the picture and therefore manipulates the object(s) accordingly. For instance, in the concept image of a pair of shoes put side by side, the user should be able to ask Photoshop to remove one of the shoes by selecting one and having Photoshop generate the rest of the image previously blocked by the show in front according to the prompt of the user or an optional auto-generated suggestion. Furthermore, it would be wonderful if the user can proceed to ask Photoshop to change the angle of view. For instance, view from the top, right side, left side, or even bottom. This would be really useful in prototyping, or in creating images to be merged for a 3D panoramic view from a 2D image. I tried the delete and fill option but it came out bad. Picture us attached. I also tried a reflective background and it actually generated a reasonably good reflect of the sole of the shoes. (image also attached) This sh
As I asked in this topic, I would very much like to be able to edit the opacity on a gradient instead of managing colors. I wish this was an option, since I do not use multi-colored gradients at all, but I constantly need to change the opacity depending on what the gradient has on top of it on another layer. If I could switch this, or perhaps use a modifier as Shift, or Alt, it would be so useful for me and I'm sure for many others. When you work with one color gradients it doesn't make any sense to be able to modify the stops since it is all the same color, and moving the slider does nothing.
I've just finished editing a bunch of Ps images and now I want to dump the lot onto my desktop to be with their friends in the archives without opening them or doing and fussy manuevers - just, select all, export - because I'm lazy like that
Warp tool in the Transform pallettes.
Please Adobe let us use our own "filters" we would do in Substance Designer. Current use of sbs files is absolutly useless IMO. Like how it works in Sampler . Too bad I find Sampler so monstrously inconveniet it collects dust mostly on my pc. Photoshop is so much better in evry aspect but lacks important functionalities. Live filters like ones in Afinity photo is one of them. Sbs based filters would be so much better alternative and so much easier for people who don't know javascript.
Hi there,I absolutely love generative ai in my workflow. Thank you for developing it! I'm working as a concept character/creature artist in film industry. The ability to select my character and generate a background that works with the camera/perspective is insanely powerful. It's the feature I will absolutely use in the future. It's something I've always wished I had. There are a few things I would love to have this feature to have:1) When background is generated, it also tries to fill in some areas of my character. This results in changing the shape of the head, weird stuff with fingers. I think ideally it would create purely a background in this case. This way if needed - I can flip it easier. I can blur it and not affect the edges of my character.2) Would be great if I like a background - save it as a "working version" or something. So i can build upon it. For example if I have a few shots of the same character - I can use the same background but rotate it and adjust slightly
heynice that ai creates automasks but they lack more control . they are always too big and create haze/glow around masked subject . they either need to get something like contrast tool or / and increase /decrease per pixel to precisely cut masked subjectcheers
I think photoshop can make a better (faster) workflow possible if you can organize all your actions better. I was used to "the retouching toolkit", when all af a sudden they decided to update and made the old version impossible to use. I would have to purchase a new version all over again (with no garanty if, of when they would do a next update). I do think making better/faster workflow possible should be a adobe update, and not a purchasable plugin from a third party. It would help a lot of professional photoshop users. I see it as the following: the ability right now is a closet where you can only stack your actions. The more actions you have, the more scrolling to find your action. It would be nice if you were able to design your own closed (like in The Retouching Toolkit). So Adobe: please learn from this third party, and develop tools like this (and as the develloper of Photoshop, you could even de better) for all your users.
Please add the following functionality to the layer visibility feature in the Layers panel: Option+click / Alt+click the eye icon to display only the contents of that layer or group. Option+click / Alt+click the same eye icon again to restore the original visibility settings. This is a technique I constantly use in the desktop version of Photoshop – maybe it's just me, but it seems strange to work with layers and not be able to do this! Many thanks, Phil
When choosing a color for the focal point within the Neural Colorize filter it would be great to have an eye dropper. The filter doesn't always choose the correct color, but the desired color is present in another part of the colorized image. It would be great to be able to just select the desired color to use with the focal point.
Excellent Human Factors Brain-Friendly design of Photoshop (Beta) WebApp! Thank you to the team at Adobe that designed and implemented this web version of Photoshop. It's therapeutic and fun-factors to usage are well designed, usage flow analyzed, and coded. I am pleased greatly that I see popups concerning expanding the features. One very minor possible modification would be an additional menu comand from the drop-down, to better center the image on the backdrop area, depending on browser sizing. Thanks very much again, and I appreciate your reading this. -- Patrick
A dark mode for the Webversion of Photoshop would be awesome! Maybe in the same colors/style than the web app 🙂
Background Ellipses (…) after a menu option have been traditionally employed in GUIs to indicate to a user that if they select that option, further action will be required by the user for that operation to be performed. The ellipsis acts a visual cue to the user that more information will be required. In essence, the rationale behind it is to give the user confidence to explore the user interface safe in the knowledge that any menu option with an ellipsis can be cancelled without the image being affected. A simple, but clear, example is the difference between Save and Save As... in Photoshop. In addition to not using ellipses for menu options that simply perform a command without any additional input, over time there has been a move towards eliminating the use of ellipses for menu options that purely open a new window or panel for informational purposes. For example, in macOS there is no ellipsis after the About This Mac menu option in the Apple menu.
Background Traditionally (i.e. in the desktop version of Photoshop), there has been a box to the left of the layer name in the Layers panel which is used to toggle the visibility of that layer. To indicate whether the layer is visible, Photoshop has used the eye icon. This eye icon has two visual states (not counting the empty box, which means the layer is not visible): Fully black or white (depending on whether the user has chosen a light or dark interface color theme). Gray The first visual state (black or white) means the layer is visible. The second visual state (gray) means the layer is implicity not visible, as it is contained within a group that has had its visibility turned off. Currently In Photoshop on the web (Beta) there is a very different visual implementation of the visibility icon: While the eye icon is still used to represent the layer visibility, it has be
I would add the ability to use keyshort-cuts would make the work flow go faster.
Minha sugestão seria inserir mais opções de edição ao "efeitos de camada" somente somente o traçado e sombra projetada nos deixa muito limitado. Um exemplo a ser adicionado seria a sobreposição de cor ou degradê.
Hello! I'm reviewing the beta to see if my team can transition to using the web-based app in order to preserve room on our Macbook Airs that heat up pretty quickly. Some key features we're missing that would be required for the transition: -Grids/Guides (we tailor our photos to a 16:9 crop but need to see what the 1:1 square looks like within that crop dimension -Content-Aware Crop -Ability to resize the canvas and not just the image size Thank you!
Right now it is very difficult to spot the layer you are working on in the layer menu. If the active layer had a green outline or some other color notation that would be very helpful.
Please make it dark
Please add a timeline function to this app. Please.
Bring this back please.
Why not upported the the most populry picture format(.jpg) in web, if in desktop is supporting... when do you plan to implement he sooport?
Background:In legacy versions of Photoshop, the Toolbar has used separators to group related tools. Since Photoshop CC 2017, those separators have been removed from the interface, with only the Edit Toolbar icon acting as a "separator" between the main tools and the Color, Quick Mask Mode, and Screen Mode icons. Currently:In Photoshop on the web (Beta), there is a single separator in the Toolbar between the Crop tool and Type tool icons. This separator appears to serve no purpose as the tools that come before and after the separator form no distinct group of related tools. Proposal:Move the separator in the Toolbar so it sits between the Eyedropper tool and the Color chips. The separator will then clearly act as a division between the two major parts of the Toolbar, and at the same time, add some consistency between Photoshop on the web (Beta) and its desktop counterpart.
