I do not want to Prompt to Edit, I do not want an AI Assisted editor.  I do not want AI doing it all for me. I want the tools available that have been available. Yet you keep hiding functions that professionals use and pushing features that are new and are casual user friendly.   You’re turning the core Photoshop into Photoshop elements while charging for a professional app.Stop shuffling and hiding features like Select Subject that has been a feature on your contextural bar for a long time now,  and got replaced with Prompt to Edit.   (Select Subject is now a tiny icon to the right of that and had to research where it went.

Hello there friends I am creating a new design in Photoshop (A3 size, 300 dpi), I go to save it as a PDF to my desktop - I then go to open that PDF and there is an error message within Acrobat Reader telling me that: ‘The dimensions of this page are out of range the page content might be truncated’ with a strange blank Square behind it that clearly wasn't my original design  I open the PDF file back in Photoshop and it is almost as if there is nothing to the file anymore it shows the image size as just 13 pixels which is of course minuscule, and there is simply nothing really there to open. I open the PDF within Chrome browser and although slightly better it only shows a random quarter of the original image so clearly there is some corruption happening between any design that I create in Photoshop and then save to PDF  Please help! See attached for file details and error messages etc. ((Windows 11 on a brand new Surface Pro 12 inch, latest Adobe kit, again all upto date))

Photoshop 2026 been slowing down worse and worse with every update, and after some testing I’ve found that the performance is significantly better when GPU is disabled (but still pretty poor), and also significantly better in the 2025 version. I remember the versions before 2025 ran significantly better as well and figured that the performance issues in the 2025 version would get patched with time but now with 2026 versions it has gotten so bad that its becoming almost unusable for digital painting.My computer is well above the recommended specs with a compatible GPU for photoshop and can run most AAA games at high specs with no problem and runs great when doing 3D modeling in blender but struggles with even tiny file sizes in photoshop. for example if i make a tiny 64x64 pixel canvas in photoshop 2026 and simply attempt to pan and zoom a blank canvas, my GPU and CPU show over 80% usage and i get what looks like less than 2FPS with screen tearing. Hi when i make my image smaller it becomes blurry. I am sclaing my image down to 8.5 by 11.3 as you can see it gets blurry after i scale it down.

Hi,Expanding the image while using the Crop Tool (the color in this case, about a solid gray) using Content Aware Fill - makes wrong color, in my case after expanding a lighter frame at the previous image edge borders and a lighter gray color is used for the expanded areas. Is this a known bug? I’ve downgraded to 27.8, no issues there.Thank you,Patrik

I am experiencing an issue with the Remove Tool in Photoshop.When Generative AI is enabled, the Remove Tool is extremely slow compared with before. In some cases, Photoshop also displays a message saying that there is no internet connection.I found a reproducible workaround:Open an image. Use the Remove Tool with Generative AI enabled. The processing is very slow. Make a selection in the same document. Run Generative Fill once with the prompt left blank. After Generative Fill completes, use the Remove Tool again. The Remove Tool returns to normal speed in that document.I tested this with two different files in a row, and the same behavior occurred in both files.Additional observations:The improvement only applies to the document where Generative Fill was run. Opening another file causes the Remove Tool to become slow again. Running Generative Fill once in that file restores normal Remove Tool speed. The Remove Tool is fast when Generative AI is disabled. I found a document in my boyfriend’s phone because I feel like he’s been hiding something from me. The document is encrypted in codes and I cannot access it into a way for me to understand what is included

I have been with Photoshop since version 1 1990. I have to say this the WORST version that ever was released. Stop sending you IT to [cursing removed] we are getting [cursing removed]  as product.   Every time saving in EPS and trying to reopen the same file we get this message “This document contains Adobe Photoshop data which appears to be damaged.  Continue and ignore the Photoshop data?”  It doesn’t happen with any other file format saved.

Issue summary: When choosing Layer > New Background from Layer after cropping part of an image on a layer without ticking the Delete Cropped Pixels checkbox, the cropped pixels end up deleted.Product and version: Photoshop desktop version 20.0.10 and 21.2.11Operating system: macOS 12.7.6Steps to reproduce:Open an existing document with some layers. Select one of these layers, crop it without ticking the Delete Cropped Pixels checkbox. Under Layer, choose New Background from Layer. Select the crop tool and drag the edge handles of the crop border. Notice that cropped pixels have been deleted (sometimes only part of them).Expected result: Cropped pixels shouldn’t be deleted according to the setting of the crop tool. If this behaviour is intended, I’d suggest a notification before applying New Background from Layer to a layer. Actual result: Cropped pixels are deleted.

Watch the movie to see the tool begin to set up the rotation dialog, but then stops, displays a popup that one could infer means I’m out of credits. CC>view balance fails with message, “Unable to load selection - Retry.”

Have Photoshop 27.10.0 on Windows 10 Pro, AMD RYZEN 5.  Recently, resizing and exporting any types of raster images are coming out very “pixelated” (looking like old-school 80’s low-rez images!)I tried turning back to v27.9.0, same thing.  Searched online, found that I should make sure that under Preferences > General tab, that “Image Interpolation” should be set to “Bicubic Automatic” or “Bicubic Sharper” to fix that issue.  Tried both settings - no luck.  Tried changing to “Bicubic Smoother”, still the same, crappy results.Is there some manual “reset” I need to do (like Command-line code, or going into some buried subfolder and deleting some reference file or something) to stop this from happening?  It’s making my web images look horrible!SampleFrom 2024: Now:

GPT says it’s connected to Adobe but I’m always getting the 403 - access forbidden. This is despite me being signed in to both Adobe and GPT. I’ve tried signing out and uninstalling on both but nothing works. I’m using Chrome for my Adobe, the GPT app for GPT. Is this a technical fault on Adobe’s side or is there something I’m doing incorrectly? 

When using the “Remove” tool in Photoshop 2026 (27.8.0) on Windows laptop I receive “Tool is not responding - check internet and try again later” error.  Internet is perfectly fine however it does this about 10mins and then works for a bit.

Hey everyone,Up until recently, I was using Photoshop 27.8 (Mac 26.5.1) and everything worked perfectly fine.The newer Generative Fill and Expand model produces textures that are way too smooth. I’d even call them blurry. And yes, I’m aware of the 1024×1024 px limitation, but this happens even with 100×100 px selection.Because of that, I’ve been using the old Firefly 1 model from 2023, which, unlike the newer model, works really well for my use case. It handles textures amazingly well. I mainly use it for removing distractions: I select the unwanted object, leave the prompt empty, hit Generate, and Firefly 1 understands perfectly well that the selected area should be removed.However, something seems to have changed starting with version 27.9.If I leave the prompt empty now, Firefly 1 starts generating completely random objects instead of simply filling/removing the selected area. For example, I had a white T-shirt with some red text on it that I wanted to remove. I selected the text, l

I tried 'Generative upscale' which is a third party feature. Firstly, it didn’t work at all. Secondly, it broke Photoshop, which now crashes on creating a new file. No choice but to uninstall, reinstall, and never use this feature again - at least, until it's been integrated as a safe Adobe feature and not this third party trash. For the record, generative upscale would be extremely useful if it worked!

Ever since the latest update of Photoshop (version 27.10), the content-aware fill tool has been rendered useless. When using this tool, it will bug out when i straighten an image out or will fail when cropping an image. When I go to cancel the content-aware fill load screen, it will not cancel and I have to force quit out of Photoshop. Because of this issue, my usual editing speed has been significantly slowed down. I rely on this tool heavily for my job and without it working correctly, it is causing delays for complete projects and unnecessary stress.
