The "Export As" window is glitching, which sometimes makes it go behind Photoshop. Additionally, its size does not stay adjusted as usual and it is always smaller. I have to resize it every time I open the program and use the "Export As" function.Another problem is that the file preview is pixelated, which does not happen in the regular version. This started in this last beta update; it didn't have this problem before. Furthermore, the image only looks good if I set the zoom to 100%. However, I cannot see the full image with good quality like before because it goes past the borders. I have to keep moving it to see the corners that do not show up. Image from Photoshop version 27.9 Previous version 27.8 is perfectly normal and trouble-free.Image from Photoshop version 27.8I reported this bug in the Beta version, and even so, they updated the definitive version with the exact same error that many people were complaining about. Apparently, the Beta version is no longer serving its purpose
I have had this issue with all versions of Photoshop past v 26.4.1 whereby I can’t close the app without crashing, even immediately after opening. I tried all the solutions I could find and out of desperation, I reset Windows completely and was able to get it to work for five days before it happens again. For context, I am using a Legion Pro 7i, with both Intel and Nvidia drivers, all up to date. I can’t make any preferences changes on the app itself because the app would crash and therefore not save the changes made. There is no crash report window too. Resetting Photoshop preferences Clean reinstallationChanged hybrid GPU to just dGPUCleared font caches I honestly lost track of all the solutions I’ve tried, even had official Adobe IT to take over my laptop twice to resolve pre-windows reset to no avail. I should be able to enjoy all the benefits of paying for a subscription, so I would really appreciate any help I could get here. Thank you 😔
Liebe Community. Vielen D
It's no wonder there have been a few threads here about printing from macOS Sequoia. I'm not an early adopter, meaning my main Mac is still on macOS Ventura and, mainly, PS24, so I've not experienced this printing issue.. But, today I experienced the Sequoia/Photoshop 25 print pipeline issue we've been hearing about here. I wonder about macOS Sonoma too now. In Photoshop's print process, I prefer to use Photoshop Manages Color and select the ICC profile myself - meaning that, now, I just need to go to the Print Settings (which opens the Epson or Canon etc. print driver), and, there, under Printer Options/Print Settings I select the media type and also check that in the Color Matching section the options are greyed out - with Colorsync selected [here, as below, the options should be greyed, because selecting Photoshop Manages Color tells the driver to disable color management]. What's the issue with printing?Selected options within
I’ve been publishing for over thirty years and never had this issue. KDP demands exact dimensions for book covers, but recently, I am unable to resize images to fit those dimesions. I realize Photoshop uses pixels, but in publishing, you have to use inches. When i go to image size and deselect the resampling, as advised, and then insert my proper dimensions, Photoshop changes those dimesions so that the cover size is incorrect.I’ve tried checking and unchecking resample.I’ve tried starting over with a new template of the size needed, and it still won’t let me decide what size I need. The correct width and height is 13.198 x 9.25. When i can make those changes and save it, then open it back up, Photoshop has changed one or the other setting. The settings have to be exact, so without a solution to this, i can’t upload book covers.
Photoshop version 20.0macOS Monterey, version 12.0.1Image> Resize> Image Size is changing the size of the canvas, instead of the size of the image on the canvas.I often resize large grayscale images that I have scanned, so that I can create smaller multiples to print on one 8.5" x 11" page. In the new version, resizing the image *also* resizes the canvas to the same size as the image, instead of preserving the canvas size at 8.5" x 11". (For example, when I resize an image to 2" x 3", the canvas size changes to 2" x 3" right along with the image.)
I shot a long bridge in a rural part of my state. Since I was using a wide angle lens, I shot the left side and the right side with overlap to create a panorama. I could not stand in the middle because there’s a big creek so I shot from the right bank as close to the middle as I could get. When I edited the pano, the end result was a noticeable curve of the bridge. The only way to fix this is either Puppet Warp which is quite tedious or use Liquify which is pretty much Puppet Warp Lite. So my thought is this. Would it be possible to change Liquify’s circle to a straight line kind of like a linear gradient? Have it so that line could be set at any length to flatten one thing or the width of the image to flatten a long curve? Or, if anyone could offer another way to make this happen, I would appreciate it.
I’ve reported this already in “Bug Reports” and my post was deleted with no resolution and no communication. I’ve reposted there and now looking for help here! When “opening as layers in photoshop” the images are very slow to load in PS 27.8 vs. 27.7. This problem is confirmed by several other users I know. What used to take 11 seconds now takes 17 seconds. There’s a new behavior where each of the layers “flashes” up on screen for a split second before the loading actually starts and it takes significantly longer than it used. Downgrading to 27.7 restores correct (fast) functionality. Why would my bug report get deleted and if there’s a bug then, how are we supposed to report it so that Adobe will address it? Thanks
photoshop does not open after todays 27.9.1 update, it crashes at the Measuring Memory step. I already have the most current nvidia studio driver installed
I recently upgraded my motherboard and now I can’t use my copy of Photoshop CS6 because it says my serial number is already in use by the maximum allowed computers. Those computers no longer exist, so I have no way to deactivate the licences on them.I tried to deactivate devices in my account settings, but that didn’t help. Is there any other way to deactivate the old installs? Thanks
Everytime I try and open a file saved from photoshop, it doesn’t let me, and keeps giving me the error in the image. It happens when I try and open from my Adobe Cloud AND from my files on my laptop saved from photoshop. The button “Learn how to fix” is not useful and isn’t helping me fix the issue. I’ve tried restarting my laptop, using an older version of photoshop, uninstalling and re-installing the latest photoshop updates, and using the web version, but no luck.
I recently discovered that banding has started appearing in smooth color gradients when saving JPEGs in Adobe Photoshop. Naturally, I always save at maximum quality—12 out of 12. If I save as an 8-bit TIFF and then convert to JPEG using FastStone, I can select RGB as the photometric type in the save options; furthermore, I don't necessarily have to choose 100% quality—which would result in a 40 MB file for my example—since 95% is perfectly adequate for me, yielding flawless gradients and a file size of 16 MB, matching what Photoshop produces at its maximum quality setting (12 out of 12). Samples are here: https://disk.yandex.ru/d/7mPxpYfAsDOR7gCan you implement RGB photometry support in JPEG to achieve better image quality?
Hello Adobe Support, Since Adobe has no official Android app for creating and editing images from scratch with full layers (unlike the discontinued Photoshop Touch), many creators—including myself—download third-party web ports like "PS CC 2019 for Android 9 by Natural". I have been using this tool in my work for years and I am still using it. I sincerely hope you can forgive me if using this version is against your rules. Could you please clarify:1. Is this or any similar Android port authorized or maintained by Adobe?2. Does Adobe object to freelancers using such archived ports for freelance work (like YouTube thumbnails) given the lack of native mobile alternatives? Thank you
When will you fix the Remove tool? The Cloud and the Device! Use AI to fix the program's bugs, not to add new features. The noise reduction feature is terrible, and there's this bug too. This is a huge step backward.
Hi,Expanding the image while using the Crop Tool (the color in this case, about a solid gray) using Content Aware Fill - makes wrong color, in my case after expanding a lighter frame at the previous image edge borders and a lighter gray color is used for the expanded areas. Is this a known bug? I’ve downgraded to 27.8, no issues there.Thank you,Patrik
I clicked the mask thumbnail, checked whether the colour is set to real black but the brush does not erases the parts of the embedded image anylonger.Any clue how to fix this? I used it earlier this morning without problems however all of a sudden this issue appeared… problem solved 😉
Hello,I am experiencing a serious and ongoing problem with Firefly Image 5 and Generative Fill in Photoshop.I am using Photoshop version 27.9.1 on Windows 11.The problem started on Friday, August 21, 2026. Before that, Firefly Image 5 worked normally for me.Since then, generation in Photoshop has become very unstable. Sometimes it generates successfully once or a few times, but then it suddenly stops working.I receive errors such as: “Delays due to high demand. Please try again later.” “There is no connection to the server. Please check your internet connection.” My internet connection is stable, and other online services work normally.Today, August 24, I started using Generative Fill at approximately 9:00 AM. The first three generations worked normally, but immediately after that the same problem returned. Further generations started failing with the “high demand” message and sometimes server connection errors. The problem is not related to one specific Photoshop document. I also tes
Hi everyone,I’m looking for help with a recurring issue when saving scanned PNG images as PDF files in Photoshop (27.3.1). Recently, the PDFs generated are partially corrupted or misread by Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and Photoshop. The Problem: When I open these PDFs in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, I get the following error:"The dimensions of this page are out-of-range - Page content might be truncated."The page size appears as 1x1 mm, making the content cropped and pixeled. What I’ve discovered so far: Third-party viewers: If I open the same PDF with PDF-XChange, it displays perfectly with the correct dimensions. Re-opening in Photoshop: If I open the "corrupt" PDF back in Photoshop, it also shows the wrong 1x1mm size. The "Workaround": If I check the box "Preserve Photoshop Editing Capabilities" when saving, Photoshop is able to reopen the file correctly, but Acrobat still struggles with it. Has anyone encountered this "out-of-range" dimension issue recently? Is there a specific setting i
After updating to Photoshop 27.9.1, the Options bar across the top of the UI no longer works. If I create a gradient, if I make any changes to it via the Options bar, nothing happens. I can’t change Gradient presets, change the the type of gradient (linear, radial, etc), Reverse, or method. These all work in the Properties panel, however, and I have to change them from there. Steps to repeat this bug:Apply a gradient Go to the Options bar at the top of the page with the gradient layer selected and make a change to the gradient or click reverse. Nothing happens. Swapping colors also does not work. Expected Result: Gradient will change by changing settings in the Options bar.Actual Result: The options change in the options bar but nothing happens to the gradient. My computer: Mac Studio 2023, Apple M2 Max, running Tahoe 26.6.2Installed Version of Photoshop: Photoshop 27.9.1This appears to be a bug as it is happening since the last update. Thank you.
The Adobe Firefly connector in Codex is repeatedly failing with:HTTP 403 Forbidden — “MCP streamable transport probe failed”Endpoint: https://photoshop-mcp-service.adobe.io/v3-creativity-b8f2a/mcpThe connector worked briefly and successfully generated images, but then began returning this error again. It occurs before Firefly receives the prompt, even when generating one image at a time. Disconnecting, reconnecting and restarting the app have not resolved it. Please investigate the connector’s authentication/transport authorization.
Remove tool was working great last week, I've come to use it today and it's extremely slow! It's taking ages to load on removing the littlest things on an image, for example a little bit of dust on a bottle. Please help. I have uninstalled and reinstalled adobe photoshop. Everything is up to date, Photoshop, MacBook. Now what do I do??
After the last update 27.4, Photoshop freezes when trying to change the size or hardness of the brush. It only helped to switch back to the previous version 27.3.1 There are no errors when the program freezes, and if you minimize the application and expand it, it will restore. But the brush settings won't change, and if you try to change them again, Photoshop freezes again.
Hello everyone, my name is Leo. I am from Chengdu, China. I have encountered a considerable predicament. I intend to purchase the latest iteration of Photoshop via the official platform for self‑study; nevertheless, I am denied access to the official up‑to‑date tutorials as well as practical operational resources. For Chinese citizens, access to overseas servers is not permitted under domestic regulated internet infrastructure. Unauthorised deployment or procurement of circumvention‑oriented technical services constitutes a violation of relevant laws and regulations. Consequently, I am precluded from viewing and studying the latest official tutorials released by Adobe, which leaves me deeply distressed. I earnestly solicit assistance from instructors, fellow community members and academic practitioners. Could anyone advise viable solutions to this dilemma? I anticipate feedback from all educators, peers and specialists. Thank you, and I wish everyone well‑being in daily life.
Recent build 27.9.x seems to have completely broken resizing from four corners which I use all the time. It just moves the window now. Also, resize zoomed window also broken. Note that this is in non-Application Frame mode.
Quite expensive for such a program! that crash every day, delaying my work as much assomeones sanity can handle. every day I have to close and open at least about 5 to 10 times each session to reset photshop. Dont accpt keyboard shorcuts, or when tools selects it keep selecting something else, not responding to command on layer.
