Photoshop (Beta)

A "Something went wrong, please try again later" error is generated every time a generate image prompt is used (both writing in my own prompt, or selecting a pre-made photoshop prompt, as well as writing in the tutorial one, word for word'). It loads for a couple of seconds before giving a "Something went wrong, please try again later" message with no additional context. This is also the case with generative images in a selected field, and 'generative expand' in the cropping function. Photoshop beta v25.9. Running on MacOS Ventura V13.5. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but this has not affected anything.

I see there is a new 27.12 beta release, but cant see any release notes relating to the ongoing colour issues in previous releases (after 27.9) being resolved? can anyone confirm?  also, usually there are only 3 previous versions available to roll back to, with 27.12 does this mean 27.9 (last working version) also will dissapear?  Normallly i would test this out but dont want to lose access to the last working version 27.9 Cheers

This started in 27.10 where a new dialog box next to the brush you open starts flat in the angle and roundness description-for each brush I select, I always have to open the brush to it’s default position-this is completely opposite of helpful, especially if you already have a way to do this in the brush panel setting.  I reset the brushes and it still comes up FLAT in each new brush I select.  I updated to 27.11 and it’s still there. Sorry, this was PS Beta-not PS currently as 27.9.1I see now this was discussed in the Beta forum, please disregard...

But (!) If I save a copy, the copy has the same exposure as the original and *is not* blown out / over-exposed (as viewed in Bridge). This happened with Canon CR-2 files taken yesterday, but also with some older jpegs & older tiffs. BUT some older tiff/jpegs open normally. Can't deduce a pattern. Problem started w/Beta 27.10. I have not changed my default settings in a year, still sRGB, etc. Applying *auto* adjustment settings in Camera Raw show changes in the sliders, but NO CHANGES in the photo. WTF!!??, 

Watch the movie to see the tool begin to set up the rotation dialog, but then stops, displays a popup that one could infer means I’m out of credits. CC>view balance fails with message, “Unable to load selection - Retry.” 

[Photoshop Beta 27.11.0] When I click ‘Generative Fill’ in the toolbar, I am used to start typing, because the text field had the cursor in it already. Now I have to click the text box to be able to start typing. The result is:I click Generative Fill in the toolbar I start typing, using all keyboard shortcuts under the sun watching my screen jump around Sigh Cleck on the text field Start typingThis used to be a two-stop process, and I think there is no UX reason why the original behaviour should not prevail. When I choose Generative Fill I will type, or not, a immediatly useable text field is the best.

I’m using Beta 27.11 on a windows 11 Pro machine (64 bit). Have used Beta quite a bit with no issues until this last update.Now I can’t adjust the brush type. I can change the size or angle, and go from hard to soft, and change opacity & flow, but any selection of a round brush defaults to elliptical. I’m able to select specialty brushes like wet or dry media or special effects brushes. This seems to only affect the round brushes in the “General Brushes” folder. Here is the step by step: 1. Select brush tool. 2. right click or use menu bar to open brush adjustment menu. 3. Select any round brush. 4. Instead of a being round, the brush is elliptical and is fully adjustable and normal (if you had wanted an elliptical brush in the first place) - can change size, angle, softness. I’m finding this bug in using the brush directly on the layer or on a layer mask. It affects the brush tool and other brush+ tools like history brush, adjustment layer brush, eraser, etc. The healing brush too

I'm using the latest version of Photoshop Beta. Whenever I right-click on the canvas to open the brush picker and select a different brush, the Brush Roundness automatically changes to 0%.I have to manually set it back to 100% every time. Is there a setting that controls this, or could this be a bug in Photoshop Beta?I do a lot of photo compositing, so this becomes quite annoying and time-consuming. I also don't want to reinstall Photoshop since I have several custom brushes and other settings installed that I'd prefer not to lose.

Photoshop Beta: Brush/Eraser Resetting to 0% Roundness After Every StrokeI need help :( This is so frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What I have tried so far (and failed):Reinstalled Photoshop Beta: Completely uninstalled Photoshop Beta and reinstalled it from the Creative Cloud app. Reset Tool / Reset All Tools: Right-clicked the Brush/Eraser icon in the top options bar and selected Reset Tool, as well as trying Reset All Tools. Manual Setting Overrides: Manually changed the brush roundness value back to 100% in the brush options panel. Disabled Shape Dynamics Control: Opened Brush Settings (F5) -> Shape Dynamics, and verified that the Control dropdown menu under Size Jitter and Angle Jitter is set to Off (not stuck on Pen Pressure or Stylus Wheel).The Persistent Behavior:Despite all of these resets, the moment I lift my pen or mouse stroke, the roundness value for both the Brush and the Eraser instantly drops back down to 0% automatically. HELP!!!

That’s all I’ve explored so far. On my Layers,  Adjustments are crossed out and not active. Well, most of them.

Hi Adobe Team, I’m facing a small but very frustrating glitch in Photoshop, and I wanted to bring it to your attention. Whenever I’m using the Move Tool, and I try to switch to the Brush Tool by pressing B on my keyboard, Photoshop jumps to the Brush Tool for a split second and then immediately switches back to the Move Tool on its own. This keeps happening repeatedly, and only after trying 3–4 times does the tool finally switch properly.This issue is interrupting my workflow and becomes quite irritating, especially during long design sessions. I kindly request you to please look into this bug or guide me if there’s any fix or setting adjustment I should try from my side.

when I open photoshop in Mac the options bar opens on menu bar and I'm unable to go full screen its soo annoying 

Photoshop Beta stopped alllowing certain tools to work like the crop tool as it says the scratch disks are full. They are not. 215gb on the hard drive - 565Gb on the external. Photoshop 2026 is working.Mac OS 26.5.1photoshop beta 27.11 

HOW CAN I FIX THIS PROBLEM?The Eyedropper Tool in Photoshop Beta is not working properly. When I move the cursor over a specific color, it detects and displays a different shade than the actual color.For example, when I click on a dark blue color, the Eyedropper Tool may select a different shade of blue. As I move the cursor around the same area, it continues to show different shades instead of accurately detecting the color under the cursor.I have been experiencing this issue for a long time, and it makes it difficult to accurately pick colors from an image. example: eyedropper tool is in the center of the circle but a lighter shade of green than it should be.😫

I saw there was a new parametric filter called embroidery. I wanted to try it, but every time I do, it shuts down photoshop and I get that little box that says "An error has occurred and photoshop needs to shut down." I have tried several times and same result. I am running Windows 11.
