Photoshop Elements

I am running Windows 11 with PSE 2024.  Elements freezes for extened periods and may or may not recover.  Looking at the "System Information" with in Elements 2024, it indicates that the machine has Windows 10 on it.    Any ideas?

Hello, I would like to create my own personal styles in photoshop.In few words something like this:  (I want to create the patterns myself to use with brushes and painting with my custom patterns/styles to make backgrounds or use them with brush .There's a tutorial easy to do so?Thanks a lot in advance!   

I have had Adobe Photoshop Elements for many years, 40 or more.  I remember downloading a memory stick full of photos and transferring them into my Photoshop in a minute.  Today I download one photo from my camera and it takes minutes to transfer it to Photoshop.  Why?  What can I do to improve it?Thank you.

I am unable to open Raw photos from a new Nikon Z8 (latest version software as at May 2024) despite having uploaded Camera Raw 16.3.1.    Is Adobe Elements 2020 unable to support Camera Raw 16.3.1?

Die gesamte Art und Weise wie der Organizer, Photoshop Elements, Premiere Elements das Datum behandeln, ist ein einziges Chaos. Übrigens ähnlich in den meisten Bild- und Videobearbeitungsprogrammen.Eigentlich ist es ganz einfach: Das Datum ist das Foto/Video Erstellungsdatum, also der Zeitpunkt, wo es entstanden ist (1). Keine Operation (Copy, Move, Rename, Edit) dürfte dieses Datum jemals ändern, und es sollte dasjenige sein, welches der Organizer bei Sortierung nach Neueste oder Älteste verwendet. Editiert man ein Bild/Video so stark, dass das ursprüngliche Datum keinen Sinn mehr macht, müsste es Operationen wie "Speichern unter...", bzw. "Kopie speichern" geben.  -------------------(Photoshop Elements 2023, Windows 11, Lenovo ThinkPad P1 Gen 4).(1) Dieses Datum steht direkt im der .jpg, .png, .mp4, ... Using PSE 2024. Full bakcup of my  catalog with 12,000+ photos takes about 20+ minutes.  I thought I would try an incremental backup to save a little time and to keep my catalog up to date..  When prompted I selected drive 😧 , Incremental Backup.  The next screen prompted for Backup Path and under that Previous Backup File.  I presumed 'Backup Path' was the folder into which the incremental photos would be placed and the Previous Backup FIle was the path to the folder where my last full backup was located.  Silly me...I think.  When I entered these loctions PSE came up with a screen showing a file suffixed with -.TLY and that's it!  the folder associated with the Backup Path had nothing in it!  I called support twice but both techs seem to not understand or could not explain how to perform an incremental backup.  So any help or a link on how to do this would be appreciated.  Guess I will always do a full backup if I cannot

Hi, my iphone 15 images import no problem but after editing and save on IMAC into Elements I have to retain the image on the DESKTOP forever or they go missing. Of course one image no big deal but if I imort after holiday there will be mmasses of them. Is there a way round this pleaseI've tried changing format to Jpg on iphone but same resultCheersRoger UK

Does Elements 24 support Canon CR3 RAW files

I am taking a course on Photoshop Elements 2018 but it is totally different to the 2024 version where can i download the old version with simply instructions

I have a strange problem using that has come to light.I have started an exercise to reduce the number of photos I have in Photoshop Elements and have noticed that out of 49,000 photos that about 1400 of them have the blue tick in the top right corner of the thumbnail that says 'synced. I have never knowingly synced anything in PSE as I don't have the need to use Creative Cloud as I only use my Mac for anything Photo related. These 1400 photos are spread randomly over 20 years worth of photos with no pattern to why they have been synced at all.I have logged onto Adobe and found my Creative Cloud but the Files section is empty so I cannot see how these photos are marked as synced,  I have no clue how or when this has happened.My problem is that I cannot delete any of them - instead of the normal delete box I get one that saysI hit OK but the files does not delete from the Catalog. I wonder how it will be possible for me to ever Delete any of these synced photos ?.All I need is

I have a HP Officejet 8034e which I use for printing and scanning using Elements 2020. Everything was working fine until last night when I tried to import a document.  Elements 2020 found my printer but not my scanner.  I"m using windows 11.  

When I'm working in Photoshop Elements I want to be able to go into full screen mode, i.e nothing else shows on the screen except Photoshop. F11/Tab doesn't work and searching these forums I can't find any solution. Surely by now in Elements 2024 there would be an option in Photoshop Elements and Premier Elements to have these apps go into a full screen mode? Hiding the task bar is not a solution for me. I just want a shortcut I can use inside Photoshop Elements 2024.

About 10 years ago i bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 in a CD box with a serial.Now my computer is crashed and i bought a new computer.Installed Photoshop Elements from CD and during install it asked me for the serial.However when i boot it up it says I have to regsiter it.When i log in to Adobe, go to products and enter this serial number, it gives me an error "serial already in use".I dont have access to the old computer anymore, but i do have access to its disk.

Ich versuche in PSElements 2024 eine Ebene zu verschieben. Das funktioniert aber nur 2mm nach rechts oder unten und nicht wie bei den bisherigen Versionen über das ganze Feld. Auch das rüberziehen auf einen anderen Fotobereich funktioniert nicht. Kann mir jemand eine Info geben, warum das nicht mehr funktioniert? 

Bis heute lief aber auf MEINEM Rechner die Software PSE 2024 inkl. der automatischen Updates fehlerfrei. Jetzt ließ sich direkt nach dem automatischen Update der Photoshop Elements EDITOR nicht mehr aufrufen.Dieser Fehler trat vor Wochen auch bei 2 befreundeten Fotografen auf und "wir" erhielten von ADOBE einen Link für eine "reparierte" Source, … wir haben damals die ZIP-Datei heruntergeladen  ..UND alles funktionierte wieder - auf dem Stand von "vorher". Auch wurde nach expliziter Frage, die Nutzung der automatischen Updates wieder freigegeben.Jetzt habe ich die damalige Fehlerlösung angewandt und wieder war der Fehler weg ..und nach dem nächsten automatischen Update AUCH WIEDER da.Ich schaffe es NICHT diesen Sachverhalt ADOBE mitzuteilen ..es kommt immer der Hinweis auf den bereits geschlossenen Fall. ABER ich möchte IRGENDWANN wieder an den automatischen Updates teilnehmen!!

I thought this was going to be a fairly simple project, but I'm running into a road block. The project is that I'm trying to build a combined image from several smaller images that make up a grid (the overall image is a map and my friend recieved a bunch of smaller files that contain the grid pieces). The grid is five images wide by seven deep.  Each image is a resolution of 5262 x 4188.  I created a blank file that was 26310 x 29316 (both under the 30000 pixel limit, which I didn't even know about until digging into this problem).  I've attached an image of the spreadsheet where I checked each image's dimensions and worked out what the total size needs to be.  The squares with an X are where an image doesn't exist for that part of the map. I brought in the first row of images and placed them using a grid that has major grid lines at 20% of the width of the image to help me position them.  Each image is on its own layer.I start bringing in the se

I have been trying to print some projects. One that is blue in particular will only print in gray scale. Tried two different printers both are printing the same way. They print the colors correctly from other sources but not photoshop. 

I have created albums for each year but sometimes when I bring up a specific year I want to rearrange the order of my images. Previously I could drag and drop an image to achieve this but this does not work for me now. If I left-click on an image I get the fist pointer but the image will not move to the desired new position.What am I doing wrong?

ok - so I'm an 80 year old who has been doing computer work for years.  A few years ago I had a little stroke, so I'm thinking I'm missing a step here. Before, in previous editions of Photo Elements, I would take 6x4 (2) photos from the PHotoBin, and make a transparent 8x10 on it and bring them into a new layer on the 8x10 and be able to move them into position to print two on 8x10.  Now on 2024, the first 6x4 goes to the middle and can't be moved. And, actually, I tried on the 2023, version that I still have on another Mac, and it actually did the same thing.  And I know I did it on that version. So I'm thinking I'm missing a step.  What am I missing?
