Photoshop Elements

I just had my computer upgraded. I am not savvy enough to do that myself. I was upgraded to Windows 11 and 64-bit. I have Photoshop Elements 7.  After the upgrade, the program has nothing in it. All the photos are missing. Also, the names of my albums and the tags are not there. I brought in a few new photos. I tried to make an album name and add name tags. It said I have to be signed in order to perform those actions. I had a glimmer of hope that when I signed in, all my photos would return. When I tried to sign in, I got this message: "ERRORPhotshop.com services are currently unavailable. Please try again later or check your network connections. Error 400. " What could have gone wrong during the upgrade for this to happen? My hard drive was backed up before they did the upgrade., so I am hoping there will be a way to get them back. I've purchased a photography video lesson and it includes  an action called Oil Paint.atnNow, I've tried to install in action on photoshop element but an error says me this: SORRY, I wrote "correctly", in the truth says "currently"I also wanted to test if this was a problem only with photoshop elements error or if this error would happens also with Photoshop cs6 extended trial version , so I tried a trial version and yet, it says the same message error. (the oil filter works if I used directly from Filter, but if I go in the action I've purchased with the tutorial, it gives error)What could be the problem ? PS if I PM the same oil filter action, can you tell me if it works with another different version of Photoshop, or if it gives the same message? Hi,I recently had to buy a new computer and it was several months before I found my Photoshop disc to install and activate my Elements 14 on the new one.  One of my favorite and most frequently used guided edits, Painterly, is no longer available as an option.  I have searched online and I see guides and videos on how to use it, but no discussions about it having been removed from the program.  That makes me believe it is something on my end.  Is Painterly, perhaps, an add-on that I need to find and install? Is it something incompatible with Windows 11? Should I try and download an older version?  Has this happened to anyone else?

Hello ,I have a strange problem. All brushes, including the clone stamp, are no longer displayed to me as a circle (with the corresponding size and hardness) when used. The only thing I can still see is a brush preview that looks the same regardless of how I have set the brush. It's hard for me to work like this. I've already reset all tools to default settings, but that didn't help.Can you please tell me what can be done about this?Best regards from Berlin, Armand

Only the expert mode is working OK in PSE2022 on my Windows 11 Asus laptop.I updated the driver for Intel iRIS Xe,  although it din't need to be.What more can I try?????

I purchased and downloaded PSE 2024. When the installation completed, it asked if I wanted to convert the catalogue. I pressed the button to convert. It asked if I wanted to import keywords and I checked them all. I had saved metadata for all the photos in 2021 so the names for faces were also saved as keyword tags in Windows. After the conversion was done, which took several hours, I found faces of people grouped to add names to them, but none of the names that were in the previous catalogue appeared in. I now have hundreds of grouped faces that are identified as "Add Name (###)". What have I done wrong?

Hi, Just bought Photoshop Elements 2024 and was exploring the Organizer functionality. I encountered a for me annoying functionality. When Organizer imports HEIC files, it changes the HEIC file itself as well which results in a changed "changed on" file property. See screenshot below (in Dutch, "Gewijzigd op" = "Changed on"):This behaviour does not occur for other file types like jpg, png or mp4. I would Organizer not to change my file dates. How can I avoid this?

Recently I came accross a copy of elements 10 which had   never been used and installed it in compatibility mode on a win 11 machine.  The problem is that no matter what I do it keeps reverting back to demo mode.I keep entering the serial number but to no avail.  IT appears to work ok, but only in demo mode.  Help.

Can anybody tell me how to change the font size of the file names? When you zoom in on the pictures they become larger, but the name of the file still stays the same size. It is very tiny and very difficult for me to see. I like to see the original file date so that I can change the name to match it. This is a very cumbersome process and it would be much easier if I could actually see the fileNames. I've tried changing the general font size on my windows 11 with my HP Envy, but that is not the issue as it does not affect the font inside the adobe program. Thanks in advance!

I have been trying to use the Adobe Elements mobile beta app for a few weeks, but cannot get passed the first login screen. I am told my trial has exprired, and that I need to license a desktop app to get access. I already have a Premiere Elements 2024 license on my account. I have signed out and signed back into this account. I have cleared the app cache & storage. I have tried emailing the email address on the related Help page and Google Play store listing (it's the same email address) but I get a response from Adobe's mailer daemon saying the email address does not exist. I spent almost an hour with support on chat this morning only to be told that there is no support for Beta apps, and was told to post here. So as a final hail mary: How can I use the freaking mobile beta app, or who can I send this feedback to? In case it matters, I have a Windows license of premiere elements, and am trying to access the beta on an Android 14 device.

Is there a way to view the histogram while in Quick mode in the Editor? When I adjust the 'Lighting' for example, it would be nice to see the change in the histogram.

Hello, I wonder if is possible to have a real  oil paint filter for photoshop elements, as I'm trying to studing many tutorials but this is the 'oil filter' of elements:Could you kindly help us to us who have Photoshop Elements to be able to use an Oil Filter? (after all we can find actions with oil paint effects, so why we have to purchase from others, instead not include the oil filter (with possibility to adjust it paints ) directly on photoshop elements? many would appreciate it.... I can't go on to continue my tutorials studies..And I have all my dreams to stop...Thank you.... 

I've just reinstalled Elements 2023 having just purchased a Fuji XT5 and the camera raw installed with it will not recognise RAF files (Fuji Raw format) I'm installing all the latest versions, what do I need to do to overcome this one? I'm using a MacBook Pro  ALi

My 2022 Elements which I was using trouble free for two years suddenly stopped working after a MS upgrade.  Adobe say they only have a record of my purchasing, then cancelling the version.  I know I did purchase then cancel because shortly after I made the purchase I was advised that PS Elements was on special offer at half price.  Adobe allowed me to cancel, then I remember re-purchasing the same at approx 50% reduction.  Unfortunatly I don't have any record and neither does Adobe.  A colleague at my photography club has had similar issues with Adobe and many other colleague at my club are displeased with PS generally and are looking elsewhere for photo editing software.  Anyone wish to comment ?  Sending kind regards to all who read this post. 🙂

I recently purchased a new external hard disk to replace my existing external hard disk.  After copying all of my pictures and videos using the Windows "robocopy" command to preserve the folder structure and file attributes, I renamed the  hard disk drive letters so that the old hard disk has a new drive letter (H:) and the new hard disk has the same drive letter as the old hard disk (E:).  I then launched PSE 2022 but it is still connecting to the old hard disk even though it has a new drive letter (H:).  I was expecting that PSE 2022 would connect with the new hard disk since it is now using the original drive letter of the old hard disk (E:).   What do I need to make this hard disk upgrade process work?

Hello all, new to this forum, looking for a solution to my problem.I'm a longtime user of PSE 14 and often used the panorama stitching functionality.I now have a new PC build with Windows 11 and on that occasion I'm currently doing the 30 day trial of PSE 2024. Happy to see that this all works much like what I'm used to from PSE 14. However I'm running into a particular problem that, when looking side by side at the finished panorama and one of the input images, the panorama looks distinctly unsharp compared to its input images. I've confirmed this with several panoramas from two different cameras. PSE 14 doesn't do this...Is this a settings problem, or has the software changed along the way? Most importantly: how do I solve this?I'm attaching a PNG screenshot of two images looked at in FastStone (but the problem is visible in PSE 2024 itself). The panorama is on the left.Many thanks for any assistance.

I am very frustrated with the latest version after upgrading from 2020. I use the software for digitial scrapbooking and all my layouts have many layers. When I place an element on to a layer it jumps around as if it were trying to snap to something. I have unchecked all the "snap to" boxes though I went back and looked at 2020 and they were all checked. Unchecking did not help. Also when resizing something by using the bounding box with the move tool the element continues to resize smaller ever after releasing the mouse button. Finally I use file place to add to my layers and when I do that somehow I am on a different layer so the item is added in the wrong place. I checked with another friend who also upgraded and the same things happened to her. She has since gone back to her earlier version. Honestly I do not want to pay for a product I cannot use. I have been using PSE for many years and this is the first time I hsve had these issues. I cannot use this version as it stands since i

Hoping some knowledgeable soul can cast some light on my difficulty... As I am considering FINALLY updating my Elements 14 software, I am trying out the Photoshop Elements 2024 trial version. I also have access to the Elements Organizer but once Organizer is loaded, I find clicking on any menu item or specific button does nothing. Two questions: 1.  Is Organizer supposed to be functional with an Elements Trial install?2.  If yes: any suggestions on how I can enable this functionality? Thanks all!

I assigned the keyword tag "plane" to several photos one at a time. Instead of one tag assigned to several photos, I now have multiple instances of the "plane" tag, each assigned to one photo. How did this happen and how can I assign all the photos to one "plane" keyword tag and remove all the duplicates?

I've installed PS elements on my new PC, but I can't use it before I deactivate the serial number. PS elements is uninstalled on my old PC.

I have successfully been using PSE 14 since December 2015. Today, I import a photo,  crop it , & when I click the green checkmark, it appears as a teeny, tiny image. I am crushed!
