Photoshop Elements

At the last update, the rulers in my Elements program now only show even numbers......2,4,6,8, etc.  I'm measuring in inches. How do i get ALL the numbers back, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,etc?  I have restored the program to factory default, nothing.  Old work that i have saved has all the numbers in the rulers, so i know i'm not crazy. HELP!

My mother has a license for Photoshop Elements 2018 and now that she has a new mac with new OS (Sonoma) PS Elements won't run and I can't install it after I have downloaded the file from her Adobe-account. Is there a way to upgrade it?

I'm running PSE 2022 on a PC and and Laptop. When I import images into PSE on the PC the file name is in the following format: 03 03 24_5759.CR3, when I import images onto the laptop the file names are in this format: 1R9A5778.CR3. How can I change the file name format in the Laptop so it appears like the format in the PC

I thought that the elemments 2024 home edition was a one time purchase. It has stopped loadingto my cumputer. Do I need a subscription for this or is there something else going on? This is a windows based versionAny help is appreciated.Thanks,Greg 

I have a very strange problem that has been bothering me for hours:When I create a new text area and type, my cursor stays on the left. If I use characters like ? or ! these links appear instead of where my cursor is. So this is very similar to the Arabic way of writing. I find everywhere online that you can adjust the 'paragraph direction'. However, this appears to only be possible with Photoshop CC/CS? But somehow this is still set up that way on my PS Elements 2023. The strange thing is that when I open an old file I can type the existing texts correctly, but as soon as I create a new text field I can't anymore... Anyone have any idea how to solve this?PS elements 2023, mac.

When Face IDs have been added to a picture and “Save Metadata to Files” is used, I can view the names of the people in the picture in the Mac Finder OK. I can select (but not open) the file and use “Get Info.” This lists the people marked in the picture under Keywords. I can also open the file and click Show the inspector > Keywords inspector. However, if I add a caption in Elements Organizer, this information on the people goes away. Instead, the caption is listed in the Finder with “Get Info” under “Title” and under “Description,” but the people are not listed anywhere. How can I view both the caption and the list of people keywords in the Mac Finder so that people who don’t have the Elements Organizer can view this information?

Hi AdobistsMy laptop recently died suddenly, so I needed to deactivate it a device from my Account. But when I logged in, my photoshop product was shown (hence I knew it was the correct account), but it showed NO devices. But it is installed on my home computer as well as the dead laptop.Help??

Using photoshop elements 2021, editing a CR2 raw file.  There is no option to save as JPEG, only DNG.  The window is "Camera Raw 13".

I purchased Photoshop Elements 2024 (from a store and received a card with registration number in the mail) but am unable to install it.  I've seemed to have successfully downloaded and unzipped it but installation fails at 4% completion with the message 'An unknown error has occurred'.  There's no further information and I have to then force quit the window.I have an older computer but believe it meets the specs (Windows 10 with 10GB RAM, >13 GB free space and a AMD A10-6800K APU Radeon graphics card).  I've read various help threads, downloaded the installer from different browsers, run it as administrator, run it from the desktop, restarted my computer, ... but with no success as of yet.I'm not very computer savy so any suggestion is most welcome.  Thanks in advance.

I am in Expert mode in Photoshop Elements 14 and when I open up effects, filters and styles, nothing shows up.  I tried to reset the panel and still nothing shows up.  I also tried to "load" the effects in and elements takes me to a screen > 14.0 > Presets > Actions but nothing is in this directory. 

When I used to open my organizer it checked my windows 11 photo gallery for new photos and would ask if I wanted to download them to he gallery. All of a sudden this feature stopped. Did I do something in settings, or was there a change in the PSE system. It was very convenient not to fuss with the standard import process.

I suddenly can't use my Photoshop Elements 14 on my MAC because of the pop-up:Could not complete your request because something prevented the text engine from being initialized.Can you please tell me how to fix this?

Does Photoshop Elements 2021 work with Windows 11?

On my PC  PC Asus N750jv 17” work Adobe Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements 2021.The system is: Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4700HQ CPU @ 2.40GHz   2.40 GHz, RAM 16,0 GB.  NVIDIA GeForce 750M. Windows 10 Home, version 22H2,  64 bit. The question is : Is it  possibile up grade Elements PSE and PRE from 2021 to 2024?, even if my  PC is of  4a generation?  Next 2025 I have programmed to change PC with Windows 11. Better for me to wait 2025 to upgrade my PSE and PRE ?  

I needed to rotate a pix (JPG) using the custom rotate feature and it is greyed out. I've used it before and it worked fine. Is the program corrupted? What is the fix?

I have recently installed v16.0 of Camera RAW in PE 2024.  When opening a file some of the editing tools are "collapsed" and have to be opened up, time after time.  These are the "basic" tools.  It is annoying as there was no problem with previous versions.  What am I missing?  Have tried to find a solution in settings but can't find any.  

Just bought photoshop elements 24 and impy cannot imort, drag in or open any images and I am getting the error "could not complete your request because of a disk error"I am using an Apple MacbookPro, OS Ventura 13.5.2

Organizer 2021 on window 10. I have memorized my images fotos and videos in: OneDrive Personal\Images\...  Instead,  my catalogos are visible to all users in :C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Elements Organazer\Catalogs\ ……. What I have to do in order to change:   a) PC  from 4th generation to 6th  and more,   b) Operative System from Widows 10 to 11,  c)  PRE and PSE elements fron 2021 to 2024 version?  my actual  PC is Asus N750Jv,    Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4700HQ CPU,  RAM  16GB,  NVIDIA  GeForce 750, Windows 10 22H2,  64 bit.

Hello,I want to thank you first hand for your help. I really never needed any help with my Adobe Elements 11 before this. I could save a edited picture anytime and it would go where it's suppose to go. But this last week i've seen that they aren't being saved like before. so i saved it to my desktop to see if it really was doing this and it was. it leaves it with a white square like a printer paper with the top right corner bent. and i go to open it and it saysHow do you want to open this file internet shortcut file. it has never done this before till i noticesed it this last week.Please help me with this. I'm losing my pictures.. thank you BarbIt wont let me add the picture to this 

I just had my computer upgraded. I am not savvy enough to do that myself. I was upgraded to Windows 11 and 64-bit. I have Photoshop Elements 7.  After the upgrade, the program has nothing in it. All the photos are missing. Also, the names of my albums and the tags are not there. I brought in a few new photos. I tried to make an album name and add name tags. It said I have to be signed in order to perform those actions. I had a glimmer of hope that when I signed in, all my photos would return. When I tried to sign in, I got this message: "ERRORPhotshop.com services are currently unavailable. Please try again later or check your network connections. Error 400. " What could have gone wrong during the upgrade for this to happen? My hard drive was backed up before they did the upgrade., so I am hoping there will be a way to get them back. I've purchased a photography video lesson and it includes  an action called Oil Paint.atnNow, I've tried to install in action on photoshop element but an error says me this: SORRY, I wrote "correctly", in the truth says "currently"I also wanted to test if this was a problem only with photoshop elements error or if this error would happens also with Photoshop cs6 extended trial version , so I tried a trial version and yet, it says the same message error. (the oil filter works if I used directly from Filter, but if I go in the action I've purchased with the tutorial, it gives error)What could be the problem ? PS if I PM the same oil filter action, can you tell me if it works with another different version of Photoshop, or if it gives the same message?
