Photoshop Elements

Can anybody tell me how to change the font size of the file names? When you zoom in on the pictures they become larger, but the name of the file still stays the same size. It is very tiny and very difficult for me to see. I like to see the original file date so that I can change the name to match it. This is a very cumbersome process and it would be much easier if I could actually see the fileNames. I've tried changing the general font size on my windows 11 with my HP Envy, but that is not the issue as it does not affect the font inside the adobe program. Thanks in advance!

I have been trying to use the Adobe Elements mobile beta app for a few weeks, but cannot get passed the first login screen. I am told my trial has exprired, and that I need to license a desktop app to get access. I already have a Premiere Elements 2024 license on my account. I have signed out and signed back into this account. I have cleared the app cache & storage. I have tried emailing the email address on the related Help page and Google Play store listing (it's the same email address) but I get a response from Adobe's mailer daemon saying the email address does not exist. I spent almost an hour with support on chat this morning only to be told that there is no support for Beta apps, and was told to post here. So as a final hail mary: How can I use the freaking mobile beta app, or who can I send this feedback to? In case it matters, I have a Windows license of premiere elements, and am trying to access the beta on an Android 14 device.

Is there a way to view the histogram while in Quick mode in the Editor? When I adjust the 'Lighting' for example, it would be nice to see the change in the histogram.

Hello, I wonder if is possible to have a real  oil paint filter for photoshop elements, as I'm trying to studing many tutorials but this is the 'oil filter' of elements:Could you kindly help us to us who have Photoshop Elements to be able to use an Oil Filter? (after all we can find actions with oil paint effects, so why we have to purchase from others, instead not include the oil filter (with possibility to adjust it paints ) directly on photoshop elements? many would appreciate it.... I can't go on to continue my tutorials studies..And I have all my dreams to stop...Thank you.... 

I've just reinstalled Elements 2023 having just purchased a Fuji XT5 and the camera raw installed with it will not recognise RAF files (Fuji Raw format) I'm installing all the latest versions, what do I need to do to overcome this one? I'm using a MacBook Pro  ALi

My 2022 Elements which I was using trouble free for two years suddenly stopped working after a MS upgrade.  Adobe say they only have a record of my purchasing, then cancelling the version.  I know I did purchase then cancel because shortly after I made the purchase I was advised that PS Elements was on special offer at half price.  Adobe allowed me to cancel, then I remember re-purchasing the same at approx 50% reduction.  Unfortunatly I don't have any record and neither does Adobe.  A colleague at my photography club has had similar issues with Adobe and many other colleague at my club are displeased with PS generally and are looking elsewhere for photo editing software.  Anyone wish to comment ?  Sending kind regards to all who read this post. 🙂

I recently purchased a new external hard disk to replace my existing external hard disk.  After copying all of my pictures and videos using the Windows "robocopy" command to preserve the folder structure and file attributes, I renamed the  hard disk drive letters so that the old hard disk has a new drive letter (H:) and the new hard disk has the same drive letter as the old hard disk (E:).  I then launched PSE 2022 but it is still connecting to the old hard disk even though it has a new drive letter (H:).  I was expecting that PSE 2022 would connect with the new hard disk since it is now using the original drive letter of the old hard disk (E:).   What do I need to make this hard disk upgrade process work?

Hello all, new to this forum, looking for a solution to my problem.I'm a longtime user of PSE 14 and often used the panorama stitching functionality.I now have a new PC build with Windows 11 and on that occasion I'm currently doing the 30 day trial of PSE 2024. Happy to see that this all works much like what I'm used to from PSE 14. However I'm running into a particular problem that, when looking side by side at the finished panorama and one of the input images, the panorama looks distinctly unsharp compared to its input images. I've confirmed this with several panoramas from two different cameras. PSE 14 doesn't do this...Is this a settings problem, or has the software changed along the way? Most importantly: how do I solve this?I'm attaching a PNG screenshot of two images looked at in FastStone (but the problem is visible in PSE 2024 itself). I am very frustrated with the latest version after upgrading from 2020. I use the software for digitial scrapbooking and all my layouts have many layers. When I place an element on to a layer it jumps around as if it were trying to snap to something. I have unchecked all the "snap to" boxes though I went back and looked at 2020 and they were all checked. Unchecking did not help. Also when resizing something by using the bounding box with the move tool the element continues to resize smaller ever after releasing the mouse button. Finally I use file place to add to my layers and when I do that somehow I am on a different layer so the item is added in the wrong place. I checked with another friend who also upgraded and the same things happened to her. She has since gone back to her earlier version. Honestly I do not want to pay for a product I cannot use. I have been using PSE for many years and this is the first time I hsve had these issues. I cannot use this version as it stands since i

Hoping some knowledgeable soul can cast some light on my difficulty... As I am considering FINALLY updating my Elements 14 software, I am trying out the Photoshop Elements 2024 trial version. I also have access to the Elements Organizer but once Organizer is loaded, I find clicking on any menu item or specific button does nothing. Two questions: 1.  Is Organizer supposed to be functional with an Elements Trial install?2.  If yes: any suggestions on how I can enable this functionality? Thanks all!

I assigned the keyword tag "plane" to several photos one at a time. Instead of one tag assigned to several photos, I now have multiple instances of the "plane" tag, each assigned to one photo. How did this happen and how can I assign all the photos to one "plane" keyword tag and remove all the duplicates?

I've installed PS elements on my new PC, but I can't use it before I deactivate the serial number. PS elements is uninstalled on my old PC.

I have successfully been using PSE 14 since December 2015. Today, I import a photo,  crop it , & when I click the green checkmark, it appears as a teeny, tiny image. I am crushed!

I have Adobe Premiere Elements 9 and Adobe Photoshop Elements 9.  I acquired a computer virus and had to do a Clean Install.  That wiped off all my programs, etc.  I have the DVD's for both the above programs and reloaded them.  The reload went OK except for when I want to run ORGANIZER I get an error message..."DirectX could not be initialized.  Please be sure that is installed on your system.  You can download the latest DirectX installer from:  http//www.microsoft.com/directs."  This website does not work..  It says that the page I requested can not be found.I have directx version 12 on my computer.  Do I need directx 9 and if so, how do I get it? I'm trying to backup my catalog in Elements Organizer 2020 and it gets to prepare for backup and then crashes, the size of file approx 880GB.  Any ideas   Thanks   [Moving from generic Start/Help forum to the specific Program forum... Somehow, Organizer thinks the same NAS folder(s) is (are) multiple different folders depending on case variations (UPPER, lower, Mixed) of the path. Somehow, apparently depending on (something I still don't recognize so am still not able to avoid) about how/when they got added, images are getting different case(s) (as in UPPER/lower/Mixed) of the path and Organizer is too dumb to recognize that the SMB filesystems are case insensitive. Folders "View as list" shows all of them. Folders "View as tree" only shows one of them. This problem has existed in Organizer for years/many Organizer versions and I've never found a good workaround/fix. I've complained about it in every pop-up "Would you recommend Photoshop Elements to a friend?" survey for probably a decade now. Just dragging the images from one folder to the "other" in Organizer causes more chaos because the image is already in the destination folder (hint to Adobe: it's the same file/same folder) so it creates a copy. Habe Elements 2024 neu installiert. Sehe leider im Organizer nur die Hälfte der Bilder, die anderen werden nur als graues Vorlagebild dargestellt mit einem Papierblatt in der Mitte, das gerissen ist. Sind alles Handybilder mit JPEG in der gleichen Größe MB. Habe bei Bearbeiten Sichtbarkeit auf "ALLE" gestellt. Im Editor sind sie dann auf einmal ersichtlich. Hilft mir aber nichts, wenn ich sie vorher über den Organizer bewerten will. Wer kann mir helfen?  

I have just purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements & Adobe Premiere Elemnts 2024.To my amazment and when considering what these programmes are surpost to achive all the icons now down the left hand side of Photoshop are all in black & white.Having purchased many versions before, this new home screen looks very cheap and nasty compared to previous versions. Can the developers do a quick update fix please?

I'm using PSE 2022 on a MAC and having a difficult time converting a photo for screen printiing.  In MODE I've converted the photo to grayscale and then selected BITMAP.  In the BITMAP box, my Resolution and Output both match at 300 pixels/inch.  HOWEVER, when I select "Method" I do not have an option to use Halftone Screen.  I need to find the settings for the screen frequency and angle.  I'm lost trying to work this out.   Surely someone has a workable solution!  TIA

When I move the window around on my monitor attached to my laptop, the contents look corrupted/repeated, and I am unable to click directly on certain items, such as the Organizer/Photo Editor buttons:The window also does not maximize properly.

After creating a selection, and choosing the Text on Selection Tool, the next step is to click on the selection and then click the checkmark and then get the Horizontal Type tool. Once I click the checkmark, the box disappears. It's not allowing me to text on the selection.  I have made sure that my OS (Mac/M1 - Sonoma 14.3.1) is up to date and I have uninstalled and removed PSE 2024 and then redownloaded it.  There is an issue with this software.  Previous versions have worked.  Can you offer a solution or a fix for this?

Hallo, ich habe Photshop Elements 2024 gekauft. Online in meinem Adobe Account ist es regisstriert. Aber nach Installation auf dem PC und starten des Editors wird auch vom Programm selber der Lizenzkey abgefragt.Diesen gebe ich ein zur Freischaltung und erhalte als Dank eien Mitteilung das es nicht geht da eine Verbindung zum Internet hergestellt werden muss, wobei ich natürlich eh geracde in diesem Moemnt ja Online bin. Wer hat nen Rat?Liegt es an Windows z.B. Defender oder ist es ein Adobe Problem?Danke im voraus.Holger

I had Elements 11 in my old laptop. Need to reinstall that to my new laptop, but I don't have a licence number any more. Adobe site offering only new 2024 version to install a trial. Is there any way to reinstall that old version to my new laptop? 

When I try to edit a picture in elements 2024. I click on the picture in my organizer and click editor and this is what I get. Chould not complete your request because of a disk error. Thank you for any help you give me.
