Photoshop Elements

When adding a tag to an image, Photoshop Elements Organizer 2022 makes a copy of the image file in C:>Users>[my user name]>AppData>Local>Temp and does not remove the file from this location when the Organizer is closed.  This results in a large accumulation of files in this Temp directory that can significantly affect the amount of available storage on the C: drive.  This problem requires the user to manually delete the file(s) from the directory.  If deletion is not done Windows 10 will eventually display a critical warning about low available disk space .This has been a problem with the Elements Organizer for many years.  I wish someone would fix it.

Due to a computer error, I have had to re install all my photo folders but under different names. Organiser still has photos under old names and can't find anything. How can I delete everything in organiser and then re fill with new named photo folders?

I have purchased Photoshop Elements 2023.  Every time I have it opened (only when it's opened), this popup appears at the lower-left corner of the screen.  I have clicked "Later" and "Explore", but it returns every time.   I thought it might be these settings in Preferences for "Partner Services" but they are disabled and it still shows up every time: Is there a way to disable this? Thanks!

Windows, latest update to OS 11, updated all h/w including the Nvidia T1000 video card, drivers, AEO is fully updated.I'm working with Adobe Elements Organizer as shown in the attached file, which demonstrates the issue I'm having.See attached file

When I use the Nik 6 plug-in to moderate a photo with Elements 2024 and I want t save the photo, Elements en Nik both close. Anyone familair with this problem and a solution?

I Used Adobe Elements Organizer to make a Slide SHow. I found that if a picture is taken horazontally the heads get cut off but if vertically it is ok. Is there a fix for this?

The following is from a facebook group....I don't think it is possible because the program uses system fonts. Is there any way to create a "Favorites" list of fonts? The Mac operating system requires certain fonts to always be available (can't hide or turn them off), including a vast number of foreign language fonts that many of us never, ever use. These appear in the Fonts menu of PS Elements, of course, making it a real pain to find the fonts I actually want to use. I wish they would add a feature allowing users to pick and choose which fonts we want to appear in the Text tool menu. Until then, does anyone have a suggested workaround?

I'm 82yrs old and have an autism that makes it very difficult for me to understand written instructions.  I live in the UK and wondered if I could somehow make arrangements to set up a phone dialog with someone in 'The Community'  where I've got the opportunity to say if something isnt clear to me? So, I have Photoshop Elements 2021 installed on my PC and I've been tearing my hair out trying to work out how to feather the edge of an image.  I'm sure its pretty easy to do, but for me its making me lose the will to live!!! (not seriously)

Hi I am having issues using photoshop on my Macbook pro 2019 with i9 processor. Ever since it was installed, it has been quite slow to operate. Particularly using the magic wand, there is  quite a lag after you click the mouse . Same for eraser tool, clone stamp etc. I don't think it is an issue with my RAM , and I have already reset the Adobe settings after seeing other posts on the forum . I don't have any performance issues with other programs including 3D modelling and rendering software. Any ideas very welcome..  

Hi, I've just got a Canon R6 II and have had a host of problems using PS Elements 2022 with the CR3 files from this. Firstly it couldn't read the files, so I installed the latest camera raw (16.0), copying over the camera raw from the Library/Application Support/Adobe/plug-ins/CC/file formats to Library/Application Support/Adobe/plug-ins/Elements 20/file formats. This then allowed the files to be read. The next problem was that I had the Monterey OS on my 2021 Mac which meant that the thumbnails in Finder and when opening in PSE22 weren't showing. I upgraded the Mac to Sonoma OS and now the thumbnails show, so that problem also solved. The last problem is that I'm still unable to do certain things in PSE22 - eg. convert to B&W, duplicate layers etc... these are all greyed out as options. I only bought the software in Feb 2022 so really don't want to have to upgrade yet again in order to be able to process the CR3 files properly. Anyone any idea if there's a solu

I installed elements 2024 and do not have the quick fix feature in the quick setting like the tutorial shows it should have, and that I do have on my other laptop. Any suggestions, should I uninstall and redownload? Thanks!

Hello everyone,I'm hoping someone has a solution to why printing to my Epson R1900 prints everything, color image or B/W with a blue cast.Some background:My printer is an Epson R1900 I run elements on win 10.I experimented with different printing applications and printers and here is a summary of what I experienced.I can print a B/W image or color image from Elements with correct colors on a Canon G6000. By the way, with no complicated settings. It just works. When I print to the R1900 using windows native photo editor the print has a slight blue cast but much less that when printed from Elements.When I print from Elements to the R1900 I get a strong blue cast and I can’t find any setting that changes it in the least.My print settingsImage/mode/gray scale also tried RGBPrinter profile=Adobe RGBRendering intent=colormetric (I have no idea what this is. I recently bought PSE2024 because I loved how precisely face recognition worked. During the last week, I imported all my pictures and videos (about 150.000). PSE did a good job analyzing the photos and recognizing faces in them. That said, I've got three problems: The videos have not been analyzed, nor have they been tagged with faces.MOV-Videos are imported into the ctalogue. The organinzer doesn't create any thumbnails for them, though, nor does it play them (only the audio track is audible while the screen stays black).I added a few photos tody. After starting the organizer, it detected the new files, but didn't run face recognition/photo analyzis. I.e. the new photos are not analyzed automatically. Automatic media analysis and face recognition is turned on, both for photos and videos. I bought PSE primarily for these features. Do I do anything wrong? Thanks!Frank

I have encountered an additional problem with PE 2024. This time, the text tool is not working. all I did was click inside the white box an I get someones name there. I do not know who this person is or how to get rid of it. I tried to type something and as soon as I clicked in the white box, this persons name came up again. I need to be able to type what I want not what someone else wants. How do I get this tool to work right? a whole screen shot is here to see!

Hei!  I can not download and install photoshop elements 2023. I m signed in in web brouser , downloaded install.exe fail for elements. start install  and then sig in error.  Sign in failed. Please retry to load  sign-in windows again.   

Hi all — I recently installed the Photoshop Elements/Premiere Elements 2024 upgrade on my Mac mini running Sonoma (latest version). I just notice that there's a Play icon in my Mac menu bar called PEPE2021 Organizer. Clicking it brings up a 1:13 "movie" that doesn't play. Right-clicking it does nothing. How do I get rid of it? It doesn't seem to have any purpose.

I am trying to move my Photoshop Elements 2024 from one computer to another. I have the *.tly file backed up to a removable usb drive. When I connect the drive into the new computer I can see the data in Windows Explorer (Windows 11). However, when I go to restore, Elements sees the drive but sits there with a message of "Working on it" and the files never become visisble (after over 12 hours). I have restored catalogs succesfully in the past so I don't know why there is an issue this time. Thank you.

I am a complete rookie to photo editing.  I have a photo that has a very thin strip of blue sky at the top.  Is there a way to, say, double the width of that strip?  I have tried select, copy, and paste but it won't let me paste above the top of the photo.

I have PE2024.  the box for showing the bounding box is checked but no bounding box appears!   I need the bounding box so I can work on layers. can this issue be resolved?

I'm using a Nikon DSLR to take photos.  Typicall the jpgs are about 2.3MB in size.  When I edit using elements and then go to save there doesn't seem to be a way of saving to the original size. I can use the slider and approximate the size, but this isn't the same.  Should I always save at the max setting even though it usually results in a larger file (than the original)?  Thanks

My digital pen does not work with photoshop elements 2021 on my surface book 3. It works fine in MS paint program and other MS applications. At most I can make it show a dot after clicking "allow my pen to be used as a mouse in some desktop applications" in the MS settings, but I cannot draw with it. When the pen makes contact with the touchscreen, I see the cursor or shape I may have selected, but nothing gets drawn. I see that there was an update -->2021.2, but that has to do with fixing crashes. Mine is not crashing. The pen has no settings or bluetooth to look up or connect to in the background. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
