Photoshop Elements

I created a text layer above a dark background.  I selected the text by clicking the thumbnail but when I go to modify>contract, it says no pixels selected.  I don't know why. 

I have a photo  of my house with bushes in front of it. I want to impose  solar pannels inplace of the bushesHow can I  get the two photos on my screen  so that I can take a photo from on  and apply it  to the other picture?

Hi,for certain reasons I would like to book and install PS+LR Abbo and - at the same time - keep my existing PS-Elements ont the same computer.Somebody can tell me, if  I have to expect any software conflicts? (Windows10).Thanks for Infos.Fred 

Hi!  Is photoshop elements able to convert a mp4 video and extract into a series of images so that animated gif can be made?  I can import it into organizer, but there are very few functionalities that are available, and I don't see an import video to photo type of option.Maybe this is only possible in full Photoshop, but I wanted to see if there is a way.Thanks for any input!

Hi everyone, I have photoshop Elements 10, I have under preferances set for automatic download.  But when I insert my Sony digital camera via a cable into the USB port.  It will not auto download.  I have to open PS and manualy click on download from camera or card reader, then selcct j: and then all pictures will download. Is there a fix for this?  Some time back, it used to work the min. I inserted the the camera into the USB port it would auto open PS and download the pictures. Thank you. 

Jag har nyligen installerat Photoshop Elements 2023 och organiseraren kan jag inte öppna/expandera "Arkiv, Alternativ, Sök" med mera. Det händer ingenting när jag klickar på dem. Jag får heller inga valmöjligheter om högerklickar på en bild. //Thord

Ich werde in ein paar Tagen einen neuen PC erhalten und möchte auf diesem wieder Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019 installieren. Dieses Programm kann ich nun nicht mehr auf Adobe.com finden - obwohl ich dafür bezahlt habe.  Wie kann ich Photoshop Elements 2019 wieder installieren? 

I need some help with Photoshop Elemnts 2020. I've used it for several yearswith no problems. Recntly my computer crashed and I had to buy another oneand a Geek squader transferred evrything apps, data, photos, you name it. However PSE wont work unlesss I "sign in" Why is that? I "bought" the programin a box several years ago isn't it mine? No other app requires me to Sign In!I'm begining to think Google has a hand in this for for some reason, theyupload my photos too. Anyway I don't recall my ADOBE (ID) and have spent hours trying to find outwhat it is but navigating the instructions is impossible for me. Ihave the serial number and something called Redeemer, but that doesn't help either. So what so do I do? I still have the installer disc. Elements 2022 - how do you reove spots on photos.  The techique in the tutorial for 2018 does not work.  When you use the lasso tool to select what you want to remove you get some error message about not enough pixels.  ugh.  This was pretty sinple in Elements 2018. And... one of my big peeves - there is no spellcheck in Elements but there is here to edit these posts.

Hallo Zusammne,ich habe Photoshop Elemtens 2023 installiert und alles funktioniert , auch Camera Raw. Nur die Update Funktion ist ausgegraut und funktioniert nicht.  In den Diensten wird der Update Service nicht gestartet. Wenn  ich ihn manuell starten will kommt die Fehlermeldung 1053 - Dienst antwortet nicht rechtzeitig. Hat jemand eine Idee? Hinweis: ich habe noch Acobat XI Pro installiert.

Elements 23.When I upload my photos from camera to Organizer all the photos are doubled and I have to delete the extras.What's happening?

Bonjour.  Je ne peux plus importer de photo dans photoshop élèment. L'écran clignote en blanc. J'ai essayé avec des RAW et JPEG en direct ou par ligntroom. Le résultat est le même.

I switched from a Windows10 PC to a Windows 11 PC.I uninstalled PS Elements from the W10 PC to the W11 PC. PS Elements 19 started to load normally but did not finish.I got a message stating that third party items (Or words to that effect) would not load and PS Elements would not run.I uninstalled PSE from the W11 PC and installed it back to the W10 PC. It installed normally and I was able to use PSE.Can anybody explain why I have this difficulty? Is it a Windows 11 issue or a block of the third party items or something else?I installed on both computers using the original disc that I bought from Adobe.Norm 9704

Bonjour, je viens d'acheter et d'installer PSE 2023 sur mon mac avec MacOsVentura 13, mes fichiers jpeg ne sont plus reconnus ????

After a lot of effort getting PSE 2023 installed on my second PC (thanks for all Community support - superb), I created a full backup (all images and tags etc) on PC1 and restored it to PC2 - all worked; however, for some reason the Canon RAW files did not backup.Any ideas, please?  Have I missed a button to click when starting the full backup?  And is there a way to copy those RAW files from PC1 and transfer to PC2? An aside, initially I couldn't install RAW Editor 14.4 on PC2.  Eventually discovered that all Adob Background Processes had to be closed, then I could install via the PSE 2023 Editor. 

I am trying to install PSE 15 on my new HPEnvy x360 running Windows 11. I am getting an error message saying For security reasons your access was temporarily disabled.For more details contact Adobe Customer Support Seems strange, as I can log into my Adobe account without issues and PSE 15 has not yet asked for any serial number that could be invalid. How can I solve this issue?Thanks

I have Elements 2023 on a M1 Mac and I have downloaded the plug in from my Portrait Pro. I can find the plug in link in the Elements filters OK but when I try to open the link with an image displayed it says thet the plug in can not be found.It has been suggested thet I must wait for Portrait Pro to issue an update to update for the plug in to wotk with the M1 chip but I do not know if this is correct.Any advice please?

Updates... in Help is grayed out and has been for as long as I remember. Every time I fire up my computer there is a message that an ACR update is available so today I clicked on it and tried to install. The installer tells me that ACR was updated to v15.2 but my PSE 2021 still shows version 13.0.0.612. What gives?

Hi there, Earlier tonight I bought the double package for both adope elements 2023 and adobe photoshop 2023, I have spent the last 2 and a bit hours following all guidance and help given to me by the help page as when I attempt to install either one i recieve error code 113, claiming I cannot connect to the adobe servers. I have tried multiple different internet connections, I have disabled all my antivirus and firewall software, and my PC has the specs to run the software. Somebody please give me some guidance or help on this issue. Thanks.

I do NOT have PS cc 2019. I use PSE 2022 

I bought PSE 23 a couple of months ago. I only use this to process images. Suddenly, today, after the upgrade to Monterey 12.6.4, it no longer opens. Bad timing as I need to process an image to print.I cleared my Cache thinking that might be it then thought it must be the upgrade. Any ideas on what I can do? I got ON1 early last year and I do not like it. Thanks
