Photoshop Elements

I had PSE15 installed before installing PSE 2023 Both co-existed on the system. I noticed the well-documented Memory Integrity Protection error, (due to the PxHlpa64.sys driver being incompatible). Not being sure where this driver had come from, I unstalled both products. The incompatible driver remained. So, my question is do either (or both) of the PSE version mentioned install this driver? If so why was it not removed when the products were uninstalled?

I had to reinstall windows 10 on my C drive. My Photoshop elements and Premier Elements are installed on the D drive. So this drive is not effected by the reinstallition of windows. I also reinstalled my user profile on the C drive from a Backup.Now when I try to open Photoshop I get a error code 16. I used the solution by opening as Administrator but that only gets me half way. I see the openings screen in which I can select "orginizer", "photo editor"and "video editor". But selecting one of these wound't open the application. I see something running but than it stops.What can be done? I can do a clean installation but I want to keep my settings and additions I did to photo's like tags, names, face recognision etc.  Thx in advance. Sjoerd

Hi there, I bought Adobe Photoshop & Premiere Elements 2021 in early 2021. Redeemed the serial and all that (was a digital copy), registered with my email adres with Adobe ID. Now 2 years later I boot up Creative cloud (because I never really needed it before) but don't see my products while they are installed. In both apps I also see that I'm logged in with my emailadres. Found out that I can enter the serial code into Creative cloud. But after I redeemed the serial code, I just activated Photoshop and Premiere Elements and forgot about it. Do I need to have this serial to register the apps anyway in order to let Creative cloud know that I purchased elements and make use of the beta functions? Because then it's problematic as I can't redeem the code again in order to view it because I've done that already. Creative cloud wants me to purchase Photoshop and Premiere Elements. So I figured that I need to register the apps in there first. But it seems I can't do th

I have about 60,000 photos from a century. These are from negative scans, slide scans and print scans. There are some duplicates in my collection that I would like to remove. Find By Visual Search does find duplicates but having found them, I can't determine where to find the actual photos (eg folders), so that I can find them, evaluate their quality and delete the poorest ones.  I only seem to be able to stack them. Also, I would like to find those duplicates in my folders, so that I can also inspect other photos from the same source and time.  Is there anyway to achieve this?

Hello,I am new here, and I recently downloaded the trial version of Photoshop Elements 2023, but I am not happy with the interface being white. It is really hard on my eyes at night. know that there are older versions that have dark gray/green interfaces. It doesn't seem like there is a way to change it to a darker color. What version of Photoshop Elements was the last one that was that dark gray/green? Thanks-M

I have tried over the last couple of days to install Elements 2023 on my Windows 11 PC.Pc is an i9 48Gb RAM 1TB etc.  I have tried the followingRebooting (plenty of times)Running installer as AdminClearing all cache and temp files in browsers and systemTurned off all startup programsEach time I get the same error at roughly the same point 2-3%.  As a last resort I have even installed a fresh version of Windows 11 and done all of the updates etc.  Device manager is happy with all devices.  Still no joy.Does anyone have any further ideas please?   Frustration is growing.

I have changed the color of my guidelines to red, but they don't change in the current version of Photoshop 2023 for Mac.Is this a bug?

I have Photoshop Elements 22. I need to optimize JPEGs for WWW. The Option FIle-> Save for Web is fine, but it stripes metadata. I will use the 'Save As' option, but I would like to ask what settings to choose in the 'Save As' dialog box to achieve a quality similar to 'Save for Web' while preserving the original JPEG size.

In PSE 2021, how do I get Canon Raw .CR2 images using Adobe RGB to load by default with the Adobe RGB color profile?  I have set "Color Settings" to "Always Optimize for Printing" which I presume should determine that Adobe RGB is used.  However, when an image is loaded from ACR, under the menu item Image/Conver Color Profile "Convert to Adobe RGB Profile" is active but "Convert to sRGB Profile" greyed out.  This tells me that in PSE the working color  profile is sRGB and that I have to make a manual conversion to Adobe RGB color space.  I want images that were recorded with Adobe RGB in camera to load into PSE directly using that profile.  I seem to recall that earlier versions of PSE cold do this.  How do I achieve this in PSE 2021?  Thanks to everyone with suggestions.

I need to know 20 different tools I can use

I took photos at an event.  They sent me a frame with their logo, the name & date of the event.  They would like the frame to surround all of the photos.  There are 10 frames available on the Quick setting.  I would like to save this custom frame as one of the options.All of my web searches give results to create a frame for a single photo.  I have a frame and I would like to save it as a template for batch framing multiple photos.  Thank you for your assistance.

does anyone know how i can change the tool cursor colour? i am finding it very difficult at times to distinguish the actual cursor when trying to clone something!

Hi, I'm trying to do a white drop shadow. or really a light gray color one. and the lighter i try to go on the shadow the more it disapears no matter the opasity. I have it set at 100% in the style settings and as well as in the actual layer opasity slider bar. I don't know what the problem is. It's like the opasity is stuck and not working in the layer style effects. can someone help? I have elements 2022 thank you! I also am on a PC.

I would like to turn off the individual tool icon on the left hand side (Expert menu) of the screen after I finish using the utility. It would be similar to  the use of the + graphics utility tool on the right side of the screen, that can be closed (not active) after each use. I see no reason why the tool or any one of them must be active at all times even after one is done using it? Seems redundant.

In my list of places tags, some have a red circle in the middle and some have a white circle. Does anyone know what the significance of this is?Thanks in advance, Billy.

When I use the 'Object Removal' basic edit in PSE 2022 the PC emits a loud (to me anyway) screeching noise as I move the mouse in Brush mode.  Dell have refused to handle this as a hardware issue as the problem does not occur with any other applications. The machine is a Dell Optiplex 7090 SFF with onboard Intel 6300 Graphics chip (so no moving parts in the graphics card) and an M.2 SSD (so no moving parts there either).  Anyone out there have or heard of similar?
