Photoshop Elements

Don't buy any Adobe Photoshop Elements app from Adobe.  You'll be sorry when you get a new computer later and try to transfer it over.   Adobe won't let you.  Adobe will instead try to force you to buy another over priced, and not needed, app for your new computer.  Buy from another vendor.  Adobe could not care less about customer satisfaction.  

Just getting started using Photoshop Elements and want to copy a couple of faces from one photo into another photo.

I can clich on my Photoshop Elements 2019 icon fine and it opens the main screen where can choose Photo Editor, video editor or organization.  When I click on the Photo Editor, it appears to start loading, but never does open.  I am getting EXTREMELY frustrated with Adobe.  They will no long give support for Elements 2019 and I have searched it a great deal on this forum and anything I try from this forum does not repair the problem.  I am SICK of it.  Can anyone resolve this for me???  Or is Adobe's way to FORCE people to purchase newer versions?  If this is the case, I am going to look for something else.

Hey!A few years ago, I bought Photoshop Elements 2018 and since then it's been running on my PC without problems. Now however, it wants me to reenter my serial number and when I enter the one that I can find in my adobe account in the products tab, it tells me that this one is invalid.I also can't find a way to contact a real human at adobe.What can I do to fix this problem? Cheers

I am having a hard time with the colorizing process on b/w photos. The colorize command under enhance (auto) works pretty well. However, the devil in the details eludes me. The magic wand and the item selection tool in the manual mode will not allow me to get the really small area that need correction.  I have attached a typical photo. The fingers, feet, boys ears are eluding me. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Habe die exe-datei heruntergeladen auf meinen PC und durch Doppelklick versucht zu öffnen. Danach erscheint der u. a. Bildschirm und es geht nicht weiter. Löschen der exe-datei und erneutes Herunterladen von der Adobe-Website hat nicht geholfen. Wer weiß Rat?? 

I just ran/installed the updated version to my PSE 2023, offered from within the application.  NOW, one of my catalogs, the one I've been actively using for new photos, doesn't appear in Catalog Manager.  Using Custom Location in Catalog Manager, I navigated to the subject catalog, selected it, and ran Convert;  in that dialogue I selected this catalog, clicked "convert" - and the process failed.  I tried to follow directions in Help, but the log file I found is not like the example given, does not end with a problem file (to be removed).What should I do?I have this catalog saved as a backup (not fully current, some files will be lost in a "restore" action), on a different external drive.  I could "restore" it, only:  I keep active catalogs on a different external drive (don't want backups and actives on the same drive) - if I restore to the external drive where I now have the corrupted version, a) will it "replace" the corrupt catalog there? Hi there,since several weeks my Polygonal Lasso doesnt work any more. It is not possible to set a startpoint or any further points. When i klick there happens absolutly nothing. Do any on have any idea? 

My computer is Win10, 64 bit. PSE is in Expert mode.I want to print these 2 photos on one sheet. But PSE has added too much white space.How can I increase the height of the photos to fit inside the printer's margins?How can I reduce the vertical space between them?And when I tried to print what appears on the screen capture, the dialog changed to "Individul Prints", and nothing was printed.  On the editing screen the 2 photos are shownWhen I change the setting, neither are shown.I cannot find any way to select both the photos simultaneously.I also cannot find a way to create a new layer on one of the photos, then put the image of the other in the new layer. Thank you.

Hi have just purchased and downloaded Photoshop Elements (Windows,EN) and Premiere Elements (Windows,EN) When I open the programs and try to access Process Multiple Files....nothing happens!  When I had been using Photoshop elements 15, this function would just open when I clicked on it.....Help!

I was opening photos directly from memory card (via card reader) to PE 2022 when it froze. Some of the photos already opened in photo bin, some weren't yet. Waited for some time, opened and closed internet and other apps (which sometimes seems to jar PE 2022 back to life for whatever reason), but unfortunately had to use Task Manager to end the wait. When I re-opened PE 2022 and tried to re-open photos, I found that they're gone from memory card. I even went into folder via File Explorer and in fact, they're still gone. :'''(Any advice while I sit here and cry? Thanks in advance!

I recently switched from Photoshop Elements 10 to Photoshop Elements 2023 and I've come across a very annoying issue happening randomly when editing images: zooming with alt+mousewheel stops working.  I've never experienced this issue in Elements 10 (I'm on Windows 10). I would work on an image, do some modifications then suddenly I can't zoom with the mousewheel anymore.The only way I found to fix the issue is to manually type a zoom percentage in the zoom indicator in the lower left corner. That seems to reset something and alt+mousewheel starts working again. This is a very frustrating issue, am I the only one experiencing it?

This keeps popping up and is a real pain. I have to Force Quit - I am on Ventura...went through steps with tech rep on how to force quit processes in activity monitor, but it's still happening, and there's a red bell in the upper right of my window 😞 part of the error message says, "Error code 10002: Internal command failed to apply updates" Errrgg. help

I just bought elements 2023, I'm installing on a mac mini. I used to subscribe to photoshop 2022 but I'm on social security so I didn't resubcscribe to cut down on expenses. Now elements is not responding. Any suggestions? Thanks

Apparently an updated install file is required but when I downloaded from adobe.com the same thing happened again - no new install was downloaded after I registered the productstill no work!...please advise

I created a text layer above a dark background.  I selected the text by clicking the thumbnail but when I go to modify>contract, it says no pixels selected.  I don't know why. 

I have a photo  of my house with bushes in front of it. I want to impose  solar pannels inplace of the bushesHow can I  get the two photos on my screen  so that I can take a photo from on  and apply it  to the other picture?

Hi!  Is photoshop elements able to convert a mp4 video and extract into a series of images so that animated gif can be made?  I can import it into organizer, but there are very few functionalities that are available, and I don't see an import video to photo type of option.Maybe this is only possible in full Photoshop, but I wanted to see if there is a way.Thanks for any input!

Hi everyone, I have photoshop Elements 10, I have under preferances set for automatic download.  But when I insert my Sony digital camera via a cable into the USB port.  It will not auto download.  I have to open PS and manualy click on download from camera or card reader, then selcct j: and then all pictures will download. Is there a fix for this?  Some time back, it used to work the min. I inserted the the camera into the USB port it would auto open PS and download the pictures. Thank you. 

Jag har nyligen installerat Photoshop Elements 2023 och organiseraren kan jag inte öppna/expandera "Arkiv, Alternativ, Sök" med mera. Det händer ingenting när jag klickar på dem. Jag får heller inga valmöjligheter om högerklickar på en bild. //Thord

Ich werde in ein paar Tagen einen neuen PC erhalten und möchte auf diesem wieder Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019 installieren. Dieses Programm kann ich nun nicht mehr auf Adobe.com finden - obwohl ich dafür bezahlt habe.  Wie kann ich Photoshop Elements 2019 wieder installieren? 

I need some help with Photoshop Elemnts 2020. I've used it for several yearswith no problems. Recntly my computer crashed and I had to buy another oneand a Geek squader transferred evrything apps, data, photos, you name it. However PSE wont work unlesss I "sign in" Why is that? I "bought" the programin a box several years ago isn't it mine? No other app requires me to Sign In!I'm begining to think Google has a hand in this for for some reason, theyupload my photos too. Anyway I don't recall my ADOBE (ID) and have spent hours trying to find outwhat it is but navigating the instructions is impossible for me. Ihave the serial number and something called Redeemer, but that doesn't help either. So what so do I do? I still have the installer disc. Elements 2022 - how do you reove spots on photos.  The techique in the tutorial for 2018 does not work.  When you use the lasso tool to select what you want to remove you get some error message about not enough pixels.  ugh.  This was pretty sinple in Elements 2018. And... one of my big peeves - there is no spellcheck in Elements but there is here to edit these posts.
