Photoshop Elements

Hello.  I have OMD M1 Mark III Camera.  I have also PSE 2020. Prolem is raw files. PSE 2020 does not recognize my camera's raw file. What can i do?  Is PSE 2022 better in this respect?   Best Regards Seppo Sirén (Email address removed by Moderator)    

Hi - a year or so ago I upgraded from an earler version of Elements and after a bit of a struggle all was fine. I spent some time correctly naming the faces it had identified. All fine. Today my girlfriend reported a problem to me while i was out. I cant be sure exactly what happened, but seems as though it lost its reference to the db or some other file it was expecting to locate on startup. As it was asking for a serial key, I googled, and found in the Adobe site a 'password recovery key tool' which i thought might fit the problem since as far as i was concerned it ought to know it was a valid, licenced install already. I dont know whether that tool changed anything it shouldnt have but did not make any noticable affect as I still couldnt log in. Eventually i found the original activation key in te purchae email and entered this so the application would run up. I then repointed it to the db location and all seemed to be back to normal. Hurrah! But then I checked the Pe

I am trying to import images from my SD card into Photoshop Elements 2023 (Windows 11). It keeps crashing. Can anyone help at all?

I purchased Esentials 15 January 2022 and  the PC I had it on broke so I'm trying to reinstall it on a new laptop but it keeps telling me that the activation code is invalid when I know it is not. Can anybody help me please. Greg (Mansfield)

Hi all,what is the best practise to bring a catalog from a Windows PSE23 installation to a MacOS PSE23 installlation?I already copied the photos to my Mac. Now I would like to bring the existing catalog to the Mac, too .The file structure is exactly the same besides the rooot foler of my photo structure: on Windows it is d:\photos and on MacOS it is /Users/myname/fotos What is the best practise? Thank-you in advance, AAA

I have numerous duplicate photos and not sure which ones to delete. They were downloaded from my iPhone to MS OneDrive and/or MS Photos (long story....).My question is: Which ones to delete? Below is an example of two duplicate files. All the info from properties is the same except for the notes below.I'm not concerned about space, I just want to save the better quality photo. First example:*Type of File: .HEIC*Image demension: 3367 x 3024*Bit Depth: 32*Size: 1.17MB Second example:*Type of File: .JPG*Image demension: 4032 x 3024*Bit Depth: 24*Size: 3.39MB Thanks, in advance for any help you can offer.-Bob  

Installed on Windows 11; application freezes when attempting to set locations.PC has many versions of Photoshop Elements installed: 12, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021,2023. do the older versions need to be uninstalled??

I use a Mac computer with the OS Catalina. Since installing Catalina as an update I find my Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 keeps closing down when I try to process any actions on a photograph. Looking on the web I note the latest Photoshop Elements is "23" however it refers to a Mac OS as version 11, 12 or 12.4, my Catalina one is version 10.15.7.Any suggestions how I proceed to use Elements with my current OS if the new one one doesn't seem to support my OS and therefore cannot be downloaded?Thanks,Ken

Habe eine Nikon Z6 II, deren RAW/NEF nicht lesbar sind in meinem PSE 21. Gibt es ein Update dafür, denn Adobe gibt an, diese RAW wären sehr wohl lesbar! Oder kommt schon wieder nur ein Neukauf einer neueen PSE-Version infrage, was ich als Abzocke werten würde - Oder sehe ich das falsch??

When viewing folders, I see both the RW2 and pdf files of the same photo side by side. Is there a way to ONLY see the pdf version of the photo while in Organizer?Also, If I want to delete all the RW2 files in a folder leaving only the pdf's, or vise versa, is there a straightforward way to do so?Thank you,

Ich schicke ihnen deshalb zwei Screenshots der Einstellungen zur Überprüfung. Bitte nennen Sie mir gegebenenfalls falsche Einstellungen darin. Sollte der Photoshop 19 defekt sein, dann frage ich an, ob sie mir eventuell Photoshop 2023 zu einem Vorzugspreis bereitstellen könnten? Bei Saturn ist Photoshop zur Zeit für 59,00 EUR erhältlich. Welchen Preis könnten Sie anbieten? Eine Deinstallation und Neuinstallation von Photoshop 19 halte ich nicht für effektiv. Außerdem bleibt das Risiko, dass trotzdem kein Erfolg eintritt. Habe mir elements photoshop elements 2023 gekauft da ich eine alte Version habe. Im PS Programm bearbeite ich meine Speisekarte.herunterladen war kein Problem aber nun weiß ich nicht warum oder wie ich ins Photoshop reinkomme?

After spending all afternoon on hold for Adobe customer support and/or waiting for Adobe chat support, the conclusion I was told was that I need to install a newer version of Photoshop Elements, as they presumed the problem to be in my Photoshop Elements 11 being "too old".I installed the trial version, only to be gravely disappointed. The font is still super tiny. I see this is not a new problem. Why Adobe isn't aware of it, I don't know. Hopefully they have a solution in the works. No way am I paying for a license for something that gives me no better than the frustratingly tiny words to squint at with my face 6" from my laptop screen alternating with moving my head back to see the full picture of what I'm working on. I'm talking about not only the words across the top of the screen in the Photoshop Elements program, such as File, Edit, Image, Enhance, etc, but also the descriptions that pop up when I hover over the icons on the toolbar, such as "Crop Tool", "Recompose Tool" etc, and

I would like to create animated gifs with words. I have elements 2022.Any help would be much appreciated.

Guten Tag liebe Community, ich suche dringend Hlfe!Ich habe bisher PSE 2015 genutzt. Ca. 50.000 Bilder auf einen WD NAS gespeichert und mit einem älteren PC verwaltet. Nun nutze ich einen neuen PC und ein neues Synology NAS. Die Bild-Ordner habe ich von dem WD NAS auf das Synology NAS kopiert und PSE 2020 auf dem neuen Windows Rechner installiert. Ich möchte nun in allererster Linie meine Alben und Tags retten bzw. auf PSE 2020 nutzen. Wie geht das ? Wenn ich mit PSE 2015 den Katalog sichere (vollständiges Backup) und unter PSE 2020 auf dem neuen Rechner wiederherstelle bleibe ich auf dem alten WD NAS. Wie bekomme ich alles (oderner / Dateien, und Katalogs auf das neue Synology NAS bzw den neuen Rechner (Katalog auf Rechner, Bild Ordner auf NAS)?

I have 2 win 10 machines. The one connected via wifi prints color & black/white ok.The other is connected via USB. The Photoshop Elements on the USB one will only print black/white on paper. If I go to Change Settings and select photo paper then print still prints in black/white and the ink will whipe off and is not absorbed.If from Change Settings I select Advanced Setings it crashs and I get the error shown below.  Any help would be appreciated.

Is it possible to import my PSE2021-catalog to PSE2023 directly without version PSE2022?If yes, how?Regards, AA

I am using a Mac with Photoshop elements 2023. I have two external drives. I Import files from Drive 2. They import fine, but when I want to use one, it is disconnected. When I display the information it says that the file is on Drive 1. I have created new catalogs and started from scratch several times. It is always the same. None of the files are located on Drive 1. Everything is on drive 2. I get media from drive 2 and it imports and the file information says it's on drive 1. I can't reconnect the files even if I browse to the location. 

HelloI recently re-installed this old version, works fine, but I have just noticed there is no Actions link in Window top menu!I have just re-installed - just in case - and still the same.It is 9.0.3 so, the patch is installed too.Unless there is no actions in this version, but I believe there was.Any help?The actions folder exist at:C:\Users\******\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\9.0\PresetsAlso set the Preference to 'a different folder', which is the best way to avoid using space and copy actions etc. in Adobe's natural folder.ThanksMPS I also did put some actions within Adobe's fodler - no change!WIndows 10 21H1

Hi, I've installed a freestanding version of PSE 2022 on a Windows 10 desktop.  I use PSE 2022 in Expert mode, create/edit indiviual images, and save them to a portable hard drive -- not anywhere in PSE itself.  What is PSE Auto Creations? What does it do, and how I can disable it if it isn't absolutely necessary for running PSE 2022? Also, three related questions: 1. I don't want any aspects of PSE running automatically at startup.  Under Task Manager's Startup tab, I see Adobe Updater Startup Utility, which has low startup impact. Can I disable AUSU, and will doing so prevent me from running or updating PSe at the time of my choosing? 2. Under Task Manager's Processes tab, I see Adobe Update Service (32 bit), which has very low power usage.  Does this process run automatically at startup?  Again, I want to minimize unnecessary processes and have agency over when and how I use them. 3. What is "AdobeIPCBroker.log" and how do I pre

I am currently running PSE 13 on Windows 11 Pro, 64-bit.The web page https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/maximum-image-size-limits-photoshop.htmldescribes a registry hack to get around image size limits in the Organizer.  For a 64-bit Windows OS, it says to add a new dword toHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Adobe\elements organizer\X.0\OrganizerWhen I navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Adobe," I do not see "elements organizer."My only choices are Acrobat Reader, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe ARM, and Setup.Any thoughts will be appreciated.This may be related: A few months ago, I migrated from a Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit computer to the new one I am using now.I did not follow the correct steps to un-install and re-install PSE 13, and had to get help from Adobe Support.It was a very lengthy, difficult process for him to get me running again.
