Photoshop Elements

[Moderator moved from non-technical Lounge to Photoshop Elements​.  Also topic edited for brevity & clarity.].My computer got a virus and had to be wiped. I have to reinstall Photoshop Elements 10. I have the license code and an e-mail from 2012 telling me how to download. But it says to go to My Orders page and I can't find that. How do I download Photoshop Elements 10 and reactivate it on my computer?

I just upgraded from Elements 2020 to 2023.  When I open the Organizer I get an Assertion Program Error line 967 (Box).  Then Organizer closes.  I have contacted Adobe support and they tried a few things but they are unable to stop it from happening.  The Editor part of this app and ACR seem to work fine.  I'm using Windows 10 on an i5 desktop.  Adobe support suggested that I ask the community for help.

I can't find the tools to do shapes, lines, arrows, etc.  Screenshot of what I have attached.  I can't be this stupid can I?  PE 14.

How do I get my old Elements 2.2 up to version 2020 so it will work on OS Catalina? My Photoshop cannot be made to work so I was hoping to fall back on my old registered Elements product updated. 

I have alsways been able to attach the Topaz suite to Elements before as the versons were upgraded. However I cannot get the Topaz suite or individual Topaz programs to attach to Elements 2023. Any ideas?

How do I set up sub-albums in PSE 2020? I’ve been trying to set up an album structure, but I keep getting stuck. I use Photoshop Elements 2020.  Recently I have had problems adding frames to my images.  Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Any suggestions?  Thanks   

I've been using my program for some time, but I've suddenly found a problem with the magic lasso.  To simplify things, I'll use "positive mode" for times when I'm trying to enclose and area and "negative mode" for times when I'm using the alt key to delete part of a previously framed area. I seem to get one shot at positive mode.   Once I leave it the first lassoed area, I can't start a new one.  Starngely, though, I can use negative mode to remove part of a previously coded area, and can do so repeatedly.   I've tried rebooting the machine, but it doesn't help.

How do I use the Remove Pet Leash feature in APE 2023?  I can't seem to get it to work.  Thanks!

Bonjour à tous,  Photo Element 2022 me pose un problème. L'organisateur s'ouvre correctement mais se fige sur la page d'accueil et il m'est impossible d'utiliser les rubriques fichier, édition, etc. Merci d'avance pour toute info. J'ai déjà désinstallé et réinstallé, mais rien n'y fait. 

I have a new MacOS Monteray.  I purchased a 2023 version of Photoshop Elements and a new Wacom tablet.  I've been on the phone several times with Wacom and they have arrived at the conclusion that there is something wrong with the Adobe Photoshop Elements.  It will work a few moments then the spinning wheel will appear and will not leave.  I've lost all my work three times having to force quit the program.  I have nono idea what to do.  I need to talk with someone.  The written instructions are too difficult to follow. Everything has come to a halt and I can't work.  I purchased the program I was advised to get with Adobe AND Wacom. HELP!

Since my Old Macbook Pro is done, i have purchased a New MacBook Air and try to Download / Install it...so i let the installation process start...after waiting for 62 minutes the installation window still show's only 14 % of the process is done, but tells me on the other hand that the installation itself would be finished in 32 minutes, after waiting another 30 minutes i terminated the installation because if the Program lies from the beginning, what kind of SW is it ? 

Is there a way to reset face analysis for one person? I've go a couple people in my libarary that 2023 Organizer doesn't seem seem to be finding correctly. I'm running the Windows 10 version.  Yes, Run Face Recognition Automatically is truned on.

I have Photoshop Elements 2022 on an iMac. I have to quit out of Photoshop and go back in, in order for subject select to work. If I don't, I get the message that a suitable subject can't be found. Even when it's a dark figure against a white studio background. 

Is there any way to make the overlay on the photo be longer than 6 seconds?  I like to add music to it but 6 seconds doesn't do it justice.  Thanks.

I have the same problem and same error message trying to edit using Photoshop Elements 2022. The problem is Ventura. I don't think its compatible with Photoshop. Is this the case? 

I have 100+ photos that I need to crop to 3.8 in X 2.8 in at 300 dpi. They are of different sizes and resolutions. Is there a way to avoid having to enter those specs for every photo I have to crop?

Hi,Would like to ask the community if anyone knows if any versions of Photoshop Elements will work with an Plustek Opticfilm 8200i se slide scanner. I know it comes with it's own bundled software, but it's reviews seem to be a bit hit and miss, and i'm reasonably familliar with Photoshop and would prefer to use it if possible.Many thanks in advance.😊

I bought Photoshop Elements 23 at bol.com on Black Friday. Yesterday I downloaded it. And installed. Then the Organizer opened and then a popup appeared asking if I wanted to convert the catalog he mentioned (studio catalog) the one I was already using in Photoshop Elements 14 to Photoshop Elements 23. I said yes and he went to work. And the pictures appear.But strangely enough it is indicated that it is set to "location accessible to all users" while that catalog is on a separate SD disk and I always have to go there first in Photoshop Elements 14 (via manage catalogs).And what is also strange is that I have another catalog that I use in Photoshop Elements 14 and which I can go to in Photoshop Elements 14 if I go to 'manage catalogs' and specify the location, (a folder on the Ddrive ). Then the name of the catalog appears in the box below, namely 'home catalog'. But now in Photoshop Elements 23 when I do the same, that catalog name doesn't come up, so I seem to have lost it.How do I s

I have a logo in the upper left corner on a transparent background (the whole image is 1200 x 1200, the logo is much smaller than that). I also have a photo of a pair of shoes I am selling (also 1200 x 1200) and want to paste the logo into the photo so it's always in the exact same spot for all of my products for sale.I selected the entire logo image and copied. Then I selected the entire image of my shoes and clicked paste into selection. Still, my logo is placed in the center of the image, not in the corner. What am I doing wrong here? I am a Photoshop noob and really appreciate the help!

I have Elements 2022 and Windows 10.  When I get the message to backup the catalog where does it go?  Does it make a separate copy each time I say yes to a backup or does it simply overwrite the previous copy?  I don't want to fill up my drive with tons of copies.  Thanks for any help.  

I recently upgraded to PSE 2023, but when I  now click one the decline (x) checkmark of a proposed person match (as is not the right person) nothing happens. 

I am new to PE2023 and would like to be able to organize my children's photos into sub-categories, such as:Child 1- PortraitsChild 1- SnapshotsChild 1- School PhotosChild 1- With Family Then I would do this also for Child 2, Child 3, etc.I tried to do this using People Tags, but was not able to add this much detail.  Should I be using the Keyword Tags instead?I can't find any user guides online that are specific to my version of PE, only this Q&A format??  I tried to
