Photoshop Elements

My eight year-old computer just died. Good thing I had backed up most of my photos on an external hard drive. The only problem is I'm not really sure where to download it. The new computer has Windows 11. Do I down load to the computer or straight into Elements (if that is even possible)? There's like 22,000 files so I want to get it right the first time. I'm pretty much computer illiterate. If any one has any suggestions, I sure would appreciate it!

I would like to be able to have a full screen viewer that shows the selected photo in organizer.  It is a pain to click between the large and small views (especially since you refuse to fix the mouse down bug I reported 2 years ago that resets your filter selections FREQUENTLY).  In addition to editing usefulness, it would be nice to show photos to others with the second viewer displayed on a TV or something and the Organizer grid on my monitor.  Sort of like Presenter mode in PowerPoint.

Hi,I've downloaded the trial version of Photoshop Elements 2023 for Mac and I'm running Mac OS 13.1 Beta on an M1 MBP. The Elements home app opens OK but when I select "Photo Editor" it starts up and immediately crashes leaving a totally empty window behind. Very occasionally I see a "sign in required" message before the crash and once I actually got to try and enter my username but it froze then crashed after a single character. I have rebooted and tried it, I have uninstalled and redownloaded - all the same. Any help much appreciated. I see several other similar posts but no solutions. I don't get any crash log or anything obvious like that.     Thanks!

I've been a user of Photoshop Element, Premiere Elements, and Organization  2022, and now 2023.  However, I still have the same issue.  When I try to import many photos and videos into Organizer the RAM usuage keeps going up until the system crashes.  I wish I could just import 1000+ pictures/videos at one time.  Sometimes it works and others it crashes with a little as 250 short clips. I confirmed Photoshop Elements is set to limit RAM at 70% (45GB), but Organize goes right through those limits.  I turned off Auto Creations and Facial Recognition, just to help reduce usuage.   Any recomendations on controlling the RAM and preventing the PC from crashing? PC:AMD Ryzen 9 7950XAMD Radeon RX 6950 XTCorsair Vengeance DDR5 64GB (2x32GB)

Bonjour,le zoom et dézoom avec des photos TIFF HD est d'un lenteur magistrale !Dans photoshop Element 2013 cela se passait très bien, la rapidité et le confort était au rendez-vous, avec l'édition 2023 c'est vraiment pénible, lent et source d'erreur de travail.le zoom maximal dans une photo est très très lent, ainsi que le dézoom pour revenir à la vue générale de la photo.Il faut trouver une solution.

I dont like the new RAW software in Elements 2023. It was very good and easy on my old 2019 version.I had to update for my new camera Fuji X-H2. And even so RAW file was not supported on the version 2023. It took me 2days and nights to figure out how to get RAW support.Eventually I succeeded after diving deep in my Windows11 data. And how disappointed I was about the RAW software. Why change a winning team ???

Conversion failed wth the following error in  'pse-conversion-log_My Catalog PSE 11.txt''An error was encountered in the sqlite database: UNIQUE constraint failed: db_change_timestamp_table.change_idconversion log: Conversion Failed'I tried opening the catalog file in DB Browser for SQLite. Looking at the db_change_timestamp_table, there are no duplicate change_ids, so I'm not sure why this error would be happening.

I have Photoshop Elements 2018 operating on a PC with Windows 10. I use it to organize my photos and to place them in various albums.  I always add a caption and notes to each picture when I load them into elements and then associate them with various albums that I have.  Recently it started giving me an error message when trying to add a note or caption.  Also when I add new photos they do not show up anywhere.  I am at a lost to what is going on.

Will camera raw version 15 work with photoshop elements 2023?

Just bought the product last month.  Upgraded from Photoshop Elements 8 and on the new product, every photo I have edited is showing in the "File" menu under "Open Recently Edited File in Editor".  There must be a way to change this in preferences, but I'm unable to figure it out 

I have started to learn Photohop in one version (the one with the symbol Ps).Now I have bought a license for Photoshop Elements 2022, but didn't realize that they were quite different from each other. My problem:I am attending an online course concerning the first version mentioned (Ps).Will I even be able to follow the course with this version of the program (Photoshop Elements 2022)?They look really different and the menues seem to not quite agree. /Linnea

I'm following a text that to expand the range of a photo you take the file, modify it, then save it. Then you open the same file, modify it, and use the move tool and the shift key to drag and drop the one on top of the other. Unfortunately it's not working. The author does not say what format to use for the first file, just to use Save As and rename it. Then adjust the image, open the first one saved under another name, Float All in Windows, hit V for the move tool, hold down the shift key and drag and drop it on top of the other. That's supposed to create a new layer, "pin-registered" on top of the other one, but it's not working. No new layer, no combination into one file. How do I make this work? Thanks.

I have activated one font and purchased another.  I have restarted my computer and also closed out of Adobe multiple times.  However the font still does not show up when I attempt to use it. I also looked in the Mac font folder, it is not there.  What do I do to begin using these fonts?Thanks in advance

I installed a trial version of Elements 2023. The RAW version installed is V 14.4.0 which will not open my Fujifilm X-T5 RAW files. I have downloaded the latest RAW plug in V 15 and followed the installation process but the RAW plugin is still showing as V 14.4.0. The trial is of no use to me if I am unable to open my camera files. Help please anybody.

Hello, Today i bought photoshop elements 2023, When pointing to my directory in the organizer it only imports half the files and leaves out several thousend of supprted RW2 files. When trying to reimport it still does not work.it says "The file is damaged or is in a format that cannot be included in Elements Organizer" but RW2 is supported and the files are not damaged. How can i Get it to work properly? Also it chops maps in several files and giving them a Letter as name. For example, a map with sportfoto's and a name racing. was divided in 4 maps, 1 called racing and the orher 3 called D.Whats up with that? I just have regular map and work with the latest MacOS Monterey. In other editing software they open just fine.Hopefully somebody can help me out.Sorry for my English but it is not native to me. RegardsHenny

Ich habe rund 56.000 Bilder, die ich bisher mit allen Versionen von Photoshop Elements Organizer prima verwalten konnte. Nun kann ich zwar mit dem Organizer 2020 alle Bilder in der Organizer laden und sehe diese auch im „Rastermodus", klicke ich aber auf ein Bild in meiner Sammlung zur Ganzseitendarstellung (100%-Zoom), erscheint nur eine graue Fläche mit einem Fragezeichen. Ich habe zuerst meine Fotosammlung aus der Version 2019 importiert und umgewandelt und dachte, vielleicht lag bei der Umwandlung das Problem. Aber nachdem ich meine gesamten Bilder nochmal komplett neu in einen neuen Katalog importiert habe, habe ich das gleich Problem bei der Ganzseitendarstellung. Leider hat auch das jüngste Update keine Besserung gebracht und ich finde es grottig, das Adobe kein direkten Support anbietet, sondern uns Anwender nur hier die "Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe" bietet. Allein das ist schon kein Geld wert, aber vielleicht hat jemand das gleiche Problem und vielleicht auch eine Lös

I have used PSE 8.0 for years but decided to "upgrade" to 2023. As part of the installation I accepted the option of having 2023 use the existing 8.0 Organizer (containing about 20,000 photos). After the installation procedures completed I found that none of the 2023 Organizer Menu Bar items (File, Edit, Find, View, Help) or the other action Buttons (Import, Create, Share) respond to being clicked. No sub-menus are presented when these items are clicked. I tried restarting the app and restarting the computer. I'm not a techie so don't really know what I should do next. I looked for help in the Adobe material but couldn't find anything helpful. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I had PSE 2021 (for Windows 10) and  had to format my hard disk. I have the code. Now I want to upgrade to PSE 2023. How should I go about it?Should I download the 2021 version, reinstall and then go for upgrade or just pay the money for version 2023 and download and install it?  Will I get the full installable version of 2023 or the upgrade that works only if the working version 2021 existing on the hard drive? When I click 'upgrade', the site simply tells me to pay the money for upgrade but I am not sure I would be able to successfully upgrade after paying money. Thanks. 

Can I save a design with an AVG extension in Photoshop Elements?

Just purchased Elements 2023 and installed it. The user interface is way too light. I tried looking in Preferences to see if I could change it, darken it, but I could not see any UI settings. I know I could in Elements 2019. I have low vision and my personalization perferences on my computer, Windows 10, are set to High Contrast. I tried taking my settings off of High Contrast, but that did not help. If I am unable to change the User Interface to be darker, I will not be able to use Elements 2023. I will have to uninstall it and reinstall 2019. I am attaching a scree shot of what I see. It is just too light and I can not see menus, etc.  Susan

How do I reinstall Adobe Photoshop Elements 14 from the CD?  I installed the software on my computer on 11/20/16. I need to reinstall the software because my computer crashed.  The CD will not bring up the install process.  How do I proceed?

I had Topaz denoise in my old elements 2019 but it will not show up in elements 2022, it is in the plugins folder but will not work when I try to use it.
