Photoshop Elements

Having just installed the latest PSE, could you tell me how to save something as a brush, such as my signature.  An idiots guide for an idiot like me, step by step. I manage to make a jpeg and/or psd picture, of the right size, send it to Editor, then open the brush tool.  Sometimes I manage to save it by 'Define Brush' but after a while it disappears.  I think there is more to it than this. Thank you. 

I just upgraded Elements from 2019 to 2022. There seemed to be no catalog conversion required after the install. However, when I search for images by history, I find that a number of import batches I loaded into my Elements 2019 catalog during 2022 do not appear, nor do the imported photos. I went back to Elelments 2019 and did a repair and optimize on the catalog to no effect. I do not wish to reimport these images until I know what the problem is and am also concerned there may be other problems. Any help would be appreciated.   

I resized a picture and need to print from my Elements 14.1 . When I push Print the dialog box says Printer Offline. I can print from any other program. I have printed MUCH from this before and now it won't. How do I fix it? 

I have loaded multiple images into my Photoshop elements 2020. But, now when I try to open them a message comes up saying that the photo is missing. I can no longer open any photos for editing or click on them to move them to a hard drive without the program telling me that the image link is missing. This just started this week after using the program for the last two years. I'm not sure how to get my photos edited or moved without losing them.

I purchased a Photoshop Elements 2022 Photoshop Classroom in a Book web bundle. This package included a Book (pdf) and eBook. I have downloaded the Photoshop elements software. How do I gain access to the books that I have purchased?

PSE 2022 crashes every time I use it. New Windows 11 HP computer, drivers updated.  Have used PSE 2014 for years with no problems. Hello everyone,I want to reinstall PSE 2020 FRESH on my machine. Before ai do that ai want to make sure EVERYTHING is obliterated including file links, catalogs, preferences, everything. I want to reinstall PSE 2020 as if it's never seen my machine or photos before.  Is there a recommended way to NUKE EVERYTHING from my machine so I can start completely over with a new install, new catalog and everything? Thanks in advance,Jeff

Just purchased Adobe Photoshop 2022 and I am not able to locate the serial number. Although I have found the redemption code I am not able to find the serial number to complete the installation

Is there a way to get Gigapixel to work in Photoshop Elements 2018? If not, will it work in a newer addition? 

I just got a new desktop.  All my files were transferred over to my new desktop including old psd files from Adobe Photoshop 7 that were saved properly as psd file with layers checked as I have worked on them even as recently as last week.  I had to install Photoshop 2021 on my new desktop and I can see and open the psd files but when I open them they open without any layers.  Just one image/layer as if it is a jpgI'm not a power user of Photoshop, but I do simple project, I can't figure out why my layers aren't showing where so I can swap out pictures in my templates.

I used Mac Migration Assistant to transfer the content from my iMac OS11.6.2 to my new iMac (2021, M1) OS 12.1 (Monterey).Now I face different problems with my PSE Version 18:- To use the Editor I 'm requested to login with my Adobe ID but I run into a loop…- Login via Safari is no problem, product serial number is ok, but there are no activated devices. Strange!- also strange, the system information: OS10.16 is wrong, processor unknown …What can I do?

I have Topaz and Snap as Add-Ons or Plug-Ins.   In Editor, I go to Edit - Preferences - Plug-Ins, browse and locate Topaz or Snap, press OK - and nothing. This is on my new 2022 Elements.  In previous versions, the Plug-Ins did show up under Filter, although only one at a time would do so, not both at the same time. Hi, Great that there is a new version solving the hang-on issue on the lastest mac-os and Photoshop 2022. I bought the fysical DVD version and a fresh download via the download link (adobe.com/go/elements-esd) won't solve the problem. Can this version be updated as well? Or is there another download link? Regards,Dennis   

I have an earlier installation of Photoshop Elements 2022 bought as an Microsoft app that I suspect creating problems that I have with a new installation of the same program from Adobe. How can I clean everything from the previous installation from my laptop to be able to install the software again hopefully without problems?

Hi, pls see attached video.  Last week, no issues with this.  This week, for some reason, the Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor will not launch.  I've tried launching directly from the .EXE and set it to launch as administrator, no joy.  Rebooted, thinking some MS update screwed it up, still no joy.  Both Adobe Premier Elements and Photoshop Elements organizer launch fine.  And no, the editor won't launch from Organizer either.  This seems to be a known issue based on the other posts.  What's the fix please?  Why did I spend my $$ on the upgrade again?  😛

I just purchased and downloaded Ps Elements 2022. It will not install on my Mac because it requires an OS upgrade. I do not want to upgrade due to the fact I have a different app that will not work in the upgraded OS. How do return my purchase for a refund?

On windows 10 as admin from CD or from download Elements 22 fail to install all software up to date PLEASE ADVISE 

I have learned a method to take a small movie clip in 4k with my Panasonic FZ2500. I can then choose one of 60 pictures taken for a single jpeg. I know I can do this within my camera but is there a way to do it with Elements 2018 or is there an upgrade that might allow me to do it? Would be much easier to do on a computer screen than the lcd on my camera. Thanks for any tips.

I am a long-time user of PSE. I have thousands of photos, all annotated. I would really hate to lose all this data. Previously I had PSE 2019, but it became unusable when I updated to MacOS Catalina. Before I updated, I did a full catalog backup to an external disk. My photos are on the Mac’s internal disk in a sub-folder, organized into a folder structure that makes sense to me. This structure had not changed from pre-Catalina installation. I restored these photo folders and files from other backups. I installed PSE 2020 just today & did a catalog restore from the external disk. I should mention that I am using a custom location for the catalog. The first time I tried the restore, I neglected to select “Restore original folder structure”. It restored the catalog data successfully, but flattened out the folder structure so now I had duplicate folders (with duplicate files) in the top level, as well as lower in the folder structure. I had a problem with reinstall the program Adobe Photoshop Elements. I have done it several times and when I opened Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor I received the following text “Your application install seems to be damaged, Please reinstall the application”.

Dear Sirs, we have problems validating our serial number of photoshop elements 2020. After having successfully installed that program and entered the serial number, we were not able to get it validated. We have already tried to delete the adobe-related host files by use of the recommended tool, which we have downloaded. The internet connection is life and we have access to the internet. Thank you very much for your assistance. Best regards.
