Photoshop Elements

I own Photoshop Elements 2019 (version 17), serial number registered to my Adobe account since January 2019. I have a new Lenovo desktop running Windows 11 Home, fully updated.When I download the installer from my Adobe account (PhotoshopElements_2019_LS30_win64.exe, 2.5 MB) and run it, the installer window opens and immediately shows "Update required — your browser or operating system is no longer supported." The installation never starts.I have already tried:Installing the Creative Cloud desktop app first, then running the installer again Running the installer in Windows 8 compatibility mode Repairing both Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable packages (x64 and x86), with a reboot in between Running the installer with the network disconnected (it then reports no network connection)The ProDesignTools direct download link for the full 2.9 GB offline installer now redirects to Adobe and no longer works.Since Photoshop Elements 2024 and earlier are not covered by phone or chat s

I can't print.  When ever i try to print something photoshop just crashes and disappears.

I am getting thumbnails when I use the downloader to take photos off my phone in Adobe Photoshop. In following the other answer provided here, there is no "thumbnails" option to uncheck in the organizer. So, please try another way! 

Hi everyone,I create social media graphics in Photoshop Elements and often run into spacing issues with text layers. The built-in kerning and tracking controls are finicky, and sometimes I need to push text elements apart without adding visible characters.I also want to create "invisible" text layers as placeholders or spacers in my templates, but PSE doesn't seem to accept pure blank spaces as valid text input.Is there a free online tool that generates invisible/blank Unicode characters I can copy and paste directly into Photoshop Elements text boxes? Something browser-based with no downloads would be ideal.Bonus if the same site has other text formatting tools too.Thanks!

Search results for : How can I bypass, disable, or control the contextual task bar? It is unchecked in the Window menu, but it's still there for every edit. When I opt to pin the bar someplace out of the way, it returns to the annoying default position.

Both my 2025 and 2020 versions of Adobe Photoshop Elements have started to crash as soon as I try to print a photograph. Any ideas?

I  used nested geography tags in the Organiser in Elements 9 to sort my non-digital photos by hand but discovered that in the next version this was not possible.because digital photos come with their own location inforrmation. I still have Elements 9 running on my Windows 11 machine but I am worried that I may not be able to use that in the future. Is there any way to reuse these tags sensibly in the latest version of Elements or has all the time I took to tag 100s of images been wasted ? 

Hello,I currently have Photoshop Elements 11 installed on a Windows 7 PC.I've bought a new Win 10 PC and would like to continue using PE11 on the new Win 10 PC.I do have a few questions which I have been unable to find answers for.  1. Stick with PE11 on Win10Will PE11 run on Windows 10?  If so, I assume I could use the original install CD to install PE11 on the Win10 PC.  I'm not sure if it would then update to the latest version of PE11 using the Help -> Updates option due to its age.  Assumming all that works I could then import the catalog from the old PC and carry on using PE11 on Win10.  Would this scenario work? 2. If PE11 won't run on Win10 then is there a way of upgrading IE to the latest 2020 version whilst maintaing all my data i.e. tags etc.  What would the best route be.  Can I install PE 2020 on my Win10 PC and import the catalog from the Win7 PC into the PE 2020 on the Win10 PC?  Would this transfer across tag info etc

iPhones have been saving photos in HEIC format by default for years, often as HDR photos using the “HEIC 10-bit” format. Photoshop Elements 2023 can’t open these, which seems incredibly lame, given that cheaper programs like GraphicConverter have no problem with them. I understand Adobe wanting you to pay more for full Photoshop to handle things like RAW format, but to not handle one of the default formats on the most popular smartphone on the market is terrible. I upgraded to 2023 in hopes that HEIC support had gotten better, but it has not. And since the latest version expires after 3 years, I may just go back to my older version once it does. (I was hoping for better AI performance out of the latest version, and things like object selection and smart erase tools don’t seem to have gotten any better than before).

Elements Organizer v26.3Windows 11 Pro, 25H2I have encountered reproducible corruption of HEIC files associated with Adobe Elements Organizer 2026 on Windows.Approximately 100 HEIC photographs became unreadable by Elements Organizer, Windows Photos, Apple devices, and OneDrive's web viewer. Noticed when using Xp-pen artist 12, when using the style it doesn’t scroll or gets stuck as if it’s on click and hold, until I use a mouse and it somehow moves with the mouse until I click it to release it, I wonder if this is just the program having a bug, or just an issue with the tablet. Mind you, I didn’t have this issue few days ago. Also, for some reason it also freezes after a while, not sure if that’s also a bug or Microsoft really sucks at coding.

When I save an Adobe Photoshop Elements picture as a psd, BMP, GIF, JPEG etc, it will not open in a word document setting at all.  It comes up as a large box with Image 1 at the top.  What am I doing in saving the picture document that will not open in a document format?

Hi Adobe Support Community,First time of my life that I am asking for help on an online forum! Here is my problem: I bought the Photoshop Elements + Premiere 2021 package that I installed on my Windows computer. I also took care of registering them in Adobe Creative Cloud. I recently bought a Mac on which I would like to install them to continue editing my pictures/films. Nonetheless, on my Adobe account, only the Windows version of the registered licence can be downloaded again. There is no option to download the Mac installer. And of course, on the Adobe website, the only available versions for download are the 2022 and 2023 ones (2021 is so old indeed...). Do you know if there is an official Adobe solution to solve this problem? When I open Editor within the prog - nothing happens. I understand that I need to uncheck Preferences Media-Analysis and Auto Sync but I cannot seem to do this as my keyboard doesn't react when I press Ctrl+K which is what I have been told to do. I cannot use the prog without this apparently so please can someone help me.

I updated Mac OS inbto Tahoe and Adobe Photoshop Elements 2022 stopped working entirely. It just returns the following error message and refuses to open: Adobe Photoshop cannot run on this computer because the minimum system requirement is Mac OS X version My mac os version (after update) is Tahoe 26.0.1 and it runs on Apple M1 Max.  

The program will not load. I need to uncheck Media-Analysis and Auto Sync in Preferences but the keyboard short cut will not work

PS Elements Editor Workspace (PS Elements 2026 V26.3) will not open. Organizer opens but the Photo Editor Workspace starts then simply remains in what appears to be the opening process with the spinning icon.I have uninstalled / reinstalled (twice), I have also restarted the computer several times. I have searched the internet and tried several suggestions, none of which have rectified the problem.I had the same problem a couple of months ago and found a solution but have not been able to locate that solution this time. I may be wrong but I seem to recall it required a change to video/photo files.Edit: Windows 11 Latest updates installed. 32GB memory, Nvidia Geforce RTX 5060Ti, Lots of HD space available.

I am printing colour photos from a iMac to a Canon TR4755i printer but all are showing a warm/red bias especially on flesh tones. I am using Canon glossy paper but only have a generic printer profile listed for this paper. Other than individually editing each photo or using a more professional paper supplied with a profile is there anything I can do to correct the warm tones? Thank you.

I have been using PE 2026 since purchasing recently without any issues, but now I cannot load the program. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program and I can use it once then when I try again I cannot load it again. Can anyone help with this problem please?  

I have read the AI response to my question (Adobe Community - AI Answers) and been persistent and thorough but with no positive results. I have been promised a connection with an Advisor but Adobe just disconnects the AI Chat after saying that they looked for an advisor.I know my problem is common from the Internet traffic on this issue. I effectively cannot use Adobe Photoshop Elements 2026 because I get the following message when I try to open the app: “Could not initialize Photoshop because of program error.” This is computer speak for you can’t open the app so you can’t use it. I have used versions of Elements successfully for decades but I would like my money back and have no way to get it.

freezing only occurs in editor.    Always happens when I am editing photos.  Does not happen on opening photo but will usually occur when I have almost finished.  Extremely frustrating as I have to close my laptop down which results in loss of all the editing to my photo.   I have tried multiple suggested fixes,to no avail.  My Dell laptop meets all the necessary requirements for installing Elements.   Any help appreciated,

I upgraded to PS 26.  I save my photos as JPEG.  I have to repick JPEG every time because the program is defaulting to Photoshop as the file type.  How do I change to JPEG as the default?  Thanks.
