Photoshop Elements

Today my Photoshop Elements 2023 editor has stopped loading.It loaded and worked perfectly yesterday and as far as I know nothing has changed.I need it as I use it all the time to edit photos etc.When I try to load it I get the message "Loading Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor Workspace..." and nothing happens.Any help would be appreciated.John Hughes

So, I bought Elements 7 several years ago and have now purchased a new computer but cannot install it from  a software download (the purchase was a diskette) as I get a red cross mark for a valid serial number?  Though Rahul, after thirty odd minutes, confirmed the serial number was valid he referred me to a community forum for a problem which seems to me to be a business problem?  Though I am happy with Elements as a product this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth about Adobe as a business.  If Adobe thinks this is a good way to get me to buy the latest version of Elements, it isn't.

I tried to get my PSE2019, via Glen's excellent advice, reinstalled but the installer wouldln't work. I called Adobe customer service. The tech assured me she could get it working but even with screen share was unable to. She offered me $20 off of PSE2025 for $79.99. I pleaded with her to sell me PSE2024 for the same or even $99. No luck. Now it's Adobe's subscription PSE, which my libertarian soul rebels against, or finding a PSE2024 that is not a faulty deal or a complete gouge. (I found it at eBay for $240, which I consider a gouge.) Is there any hope for finding it at a decent price? Or even PSE2023 or 22? Thanks.

every time i open Elements 2025 i can the Organiser, Editor and Video Edit screen.  I want to set a shortcut for just the Photo editor but cant find the Exefile listed in the Program folder

I've been using Photoshop Album 2.0 for over 20 years with about 20,000 pictures.  I've been using it on Windows 10 with no problems for more than 5 years.  After I did the Windows 11 upgrade after I open up the program it freezes and there no slider on the right side of the screen.  The vertical slider area is there but no slider.  The program freezes and I have to go to Task Manager to close it out.  I've tried running as an Administrator and in different compatability OS but nothing helps.  I'm looking for a way to get this running, or the simplest way to convert to another program that will retain my tags and improvements.

I'm working for years with Photoshop 2023 and Wacom tablet on Windows 11. Since a few days I can't use anymore the Wacom pen in Photoshop Editor. I can use it with OneNote, Paint and Photoshop Organizer. Amazing if I'm using the pen in the Organizer and move it in the Editor window it's ok, but as soon as I lift the pen from about 1 cm I lose it and I can only work with the mouse.  Anybody encontered the same problem and is there a solution for this problem?

Further to the Ian Julian's similar question from Nov 14, 2024 and Greg S earlier solution.   I have the same problem, "Do not sync media to the Adobe cloud" is checked on the import screen and I have looked at Edit/Preferences/Sync and the sync box is unchecked.  When I check picture location I assume this path means the Adobe location is in the cloud C:/Users/Georg/ONEDRIVE/........ as indicated by the "ONEDRIVE" term (is that correct?) however I have my pictures on my C:.  I am totally happy with my storage approach on the C: dr. and do not want or need to pay extra cloud fees.  Perhaps I have made a mistake some where, in any case, what else can I do or to correct to stop uploading to the cloud.  Thank youGeorge

Après changement d'ordinateur (remplacement d'un IMac par un modele plus récent) j'ai réinstallé Photoshop Element 2024 et Camera RAW mais le système refuse d'ouvrir mes photos en RAW (ORF puisqu'elles proviennent d'un OM1 Olympus) et me demande d'installée Camera Raw. Merci de votre aie  

I recently changed to a new Macbook (macOS 15.5) and tried to re-install Photoshop Elements 13 after downloading it from the Adobe website. Big to my surprise there was a prohibition icon on the installer file.  Is there any chance to make PSE 13 work on my rig?

I'm getting back into photography after a hiatus of several years.  I'm still using Lightroom 6 and would like to use Elements 11 which was previously on a Windows 7 PC.  I've notices several posts that indicated potential problems with windows 11. I'd greatly appreciate your thoughts, experience, and opinions whether Elements 11 will run successfully on a laptop with Windows 11. Thanks and I hope you have a good week!Tony in SC

Have recently loaded my pictures folders and a PSE Version 8 catalog from an EHD onto a new Windows PC using PSE 2025. Everything seems to have gone well except that whilst I can see my pictures by folder in "List" mode when trying to find them in "Tree" mode nothing appears. I have checked the folder locations on the Desktop and used these in "Tree " mode, but without success. When reloading the catalog and converting to PSE 2025, I recall ticking a box to "retain the original folder structure". Is this the problem, and if so how do I resolve without starting again?

We are stuck and cannot activate Photoshop Elements 2024 after purchasing a license. My company's IT purchased Photoshop Elements 2024 for me as a standalone license. I can see the serial number (or registration key) in my "products" in the adobe account (web). However, we cannot log-in / activate the PSE 2024 product after installation.-- We do not see a prompt to activate the license during installation.-- When loading PSE 2024--it's asking us to log into Adobe Account, but we get stuck in "Update Browser" screen. Super frustration--as we have spent hours on this. Including uninstalling and re-installing and re-downloading the exe file.... Windows is up-to-date (including restarting), Chrome (default browser) is up-to-date, and Edge is up-to-date. Anyone with thoughts? Note: We do have Adobe Creative Cloud on this computer and have Adobe Acrobat Pro / Adobe for Teams. Good morning, I have Elements 2021 on a Windows 10 PC. I switched on OneDrive backup for Pictures, and this resulted in my photos moving from folders starting with C:\Users\Martin\Pictures to folders starting with C:\Users\Martin\OneDrive\Pictures - so each time I open a photo Elements Organiser searches for the missing file. My 60,000 photos are in over 3,600 libraries. What is the best way for me to update Elements to find the photos in their OneDrive folder? Thank-you, and best regards,Martin.

How to get the classic pinup style look for portraits?

Have recently imported my pictures and an old PSE Version 8 catalog onto a new PC using PSE 2025. When importing the pictures into PSE 2025 I opted to also import the associated Keyword Tags. However when restoring the old catalog all of the associated tagging info appears to have been restored correctly and I want to delete the "Imported Keyword Tags". Can I do this without effecting any of the tagging imported with the old catalog?

I'm upgrading from PSE 2018 to PSE 2025 and my first transfer of photos into organizer has resulted in all photos being connected together. I want photos to be physically separate with space between them as was done in prior versions.  Also, I'm looking for a PSE 2025 users manual, PDF or equivalent, does such exist?

I have been using Photoshop Premiere Elements for several years and I have been using PSE 2025 for several months with little to no issues, then I started receiving an error message "Camera RAW requires GPU acceleration to open photos". It will open the file, but I do not get the ACR screen to make adjustments.I have deleted and reinstalled both PSE 2023, 2025 and Camera RAW from the Adobe site.PSE 2023 works just fine and will open RAW files in the appropriate window and allows adjustments.I also reset my Nividia GPU using the Nividia utility.Help!

I recently purchased PSE 2025 to copy pictures to a DVD for permanent storage. I had been using PSE 15 for that purpose but it is not compatible with Windows 11 which is on my new computer.The option to copy to a removable drive is in the dropdown file menu but simply doesn't work. i called tech support and they tell me that copy to a removable drive simply doesn't work with the latest version of Windows.Anyone else have this problem and does anyone know if there is a fix?
