Photoshop Elements

I was unable to download pictures froman SD card to my organizer. Kept coming back as no media found. I was able to downlaoded them to microsoft photo.  I went back to organizer to bring them into photoshop elements and the file came back corrupted or unable to recognize format.  Don't know what to do and I need the pictures . Anyone have any advice. Thanks Rich

 

I am running Mac OS 15.5. I just upgraded to PSE 25. I converted my 3 catalogs. Two are fine. The third shows this screen when I try to Backup and/or Reconnect Missing Files. I optimzed the catalog but this still appears.  I also tried letting it auto reconnect, and it ran through everything but obviously since so files are listed there is nothing to reconnect. Any ideas? 

I just reinstalled Windows 11 from scratch. Then, after installing Office365 and a few useful apps, I tried to install Photoshop Elements 2023 that I purchased on Oct. 9th, 2023. and have been using since. PhotoshopElements_2023_LS30_win64.exe was downloaded from my Adobe account and I tried to install it. First en error: MSVCR120.dll cannot be found, then Error Code: 183. WOW thanks! What to do!?

I tried to install a download of Photoshop Elements 10 on my Windows 11 system.  I "think" everything went fine.  I was prompted to restart my system to complete instalation.  Now my system won't reboot.  It's stuck on the HP screen, computer manufacturer.  I can't get my computer to load. What do I do?  Any help, suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  I hate to think that installing this software killed my system. Please help!

I have 2 laptops, one is a clone of the other. I am running Photoshop Elements (PSE) 2024 on both computers. On laptop #1 my PSE catalog is: 6.21 GB,  242,173 files. I created a full backup to my external hard drive from it. The backup file on the external hard drive: size on disk: 176 GB,  234,474 Files. When I try to restore it from the backup file to the PSE on laptop #2, it fails with a message saying that I do not have enough disk space. The catalog size on laptop #2 now shows  457 GB,  1,372,044 Files!! The backup/restore process uses exactly the same SPSE software on each laptop. Clearly, something is wrong with the PSE software.  PLEASE RESPOND!   [Personal information removed by moderator.]

I am running Photoshop Elements 2018 version 16.0 (20170902.m.113423). My laptop is running Windows 10 (version 1802 OS Build 17134.81).  I mostly use Elements Organizer to catalog my photos. I have a single catalog with about 50,000 photos in it.Recently I have been encountering errors whenever I attempt ANY action that involves making a change to the catalog. For example:- attempt to apply a keyword tag, get "Error applying keyword tag(s)"- attempt to create a new keyword tag, get "Error creating new keyword tag"- automatic import of new photos in my watch folders appears to complete successfully but no photos are imported- attempt to delete a photo from the catalog, "Error deleting media"- attempt to rename a keyword tag, get "Error editing name"- attempt to change the date/time on a photo, get "Error changing date/time"etc. I have attempted many changes, each time I get an message saying Error doing whatever action I was attempting.I use organizer a LOT; cannot pinpoint exactl

Dear all,I have installes Elements 2023 on my Win11 machine but it can't open the RAW files of my Canon R6 Mark II.I've already checked out the content of the community but I can't find out how to get the necessary Camera Raw version installed.@Jeff Arola  I've seen you have helped another member successfully by advising him to copy some folders back and forth, however my folder structure seems to be different.Where can I see which Camera Raw version my installation is currently using?I can only see that these are my builts of Elements.Elements Organizer 21.0.0.0Core-Version: 21.0 (20230329.Git.master.77124fa)Sprachversion: 21.0 (20230329.Git.master.77124fI'd highly appreciate any help in this matter! My text is default on RTL, how do i change it to LTR? i cant find it in the Tools menu.

. . . KILLED IT! I paid for this software in 2014 - it worked fine until this reinstall attempt from my unupgradeable Win10 computer (yes, I uninstalled it). I don't use it often enough to subscribe. I keep getting the round and round, sign in, okay you can continue, back to sign in, and on and on and on. I've read all of the posts I can find, but no one seems to know how to get around the Adobe sign-in. Adobe does NOT have my Adobe PSE7, 9, or 13 listed.  Adobe has been a pain since I started using it because of their attitude to their 'earlier' products - if it works, why should I have to replace it because they 'say' they have no access to verify license. I can't even get to the point where I would enter the Serial#. If anyone has any new information, it would be appreciated as I see folks who are funning PSE7 on their Win11. PSE13 ought to then as well. HELP!!!

Hi folks!  I'm new here.  I bought Elements 2023, along with Jeff Carlson's Visual Quickstart Guide, published the year before.  Elements is installed and running just fine on my Mac desktop.  Somehow, I've been distracted for the past two years, and am only now gearing up for Elements. Does it make sense to stick with my 2023 version, or has a lot changed since then?  If not much has changed I would rather save my money.  I realize that tastes differ, and there are some who always want to upgrade to the latest and greatest.  I'm just hoping for some collective wisdom on the return-on-investment for the upgrade. Thank you!

Hello. I've been trying to figure this out for awhile but can't seem to get anywhere with it. Is there a way to organize and move your actions in the action panel in PSE 24? It's not like the older versions where you can click and drag to your favorites folder. Thanks for any help!

Even though I have the print action set for borderless printing in Elements it is printing the photo smaller than 4x6 and not filling the photo paper.

I haven't used PE 2019 for a few years but today tried to install it on a Windows 10 Pro 22H2 box.  The installation went fine but when I tried to use it I was prompted for a 6 digit serial number whereas the serial number on my Elements packaging is 24 numbers separaed by hyphens!  I do have an Adobe account (as I have been running an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription on a Windows 11 PC for a few years) and I am pretty certain I created it when I first registered Elements in late 2018.  But my CC account does not mention that I own the Elements as well.  Can anyone suggest what I should do get Elements working?  Thanks

I use the places tab in Organizer 2025, which automatically maps photos based on where they were taken. However, videos don't get mapped and I have to manually add their locations. Although ExifTool shows GPS data is present in both photo and video files, Organizer only displays GPS details for photos. I've attached screenshots of the metadata panel for a photo and a video taken at the same time and place, as well as ExifTool data for both files. Has anyone else experienced issues with video file locations in Organizer? Is it a bug or by desgin?Thanks,MichaelPC Windows 11, media taken with Samsung s24 phone

Yesterday on opening my Photoshop 2022  I had the popup again about updating to  Elements 2025 so I went intp preference and unchecked some boxes as I had read on this site to do that. Later when I opened it again another box appeared saying to scan Q code or paste link in browser and verify my Adobe account . Upon correctly signing in it then asked me to enter my serial number for the product. That seemed to work and I eventually was able to use my program.  Today no pop up of upgrade to 2025 but  same thing about signing into my Adobe account to verify and entering serial number happened today and even more delay as the editor portion took awhile to load.   Is this because I changed my preferences in the editor portion.  Should I go back in and check those boxes I unchecked?  I am happy still with the version I have as works for what I want to accomplish.  But I don't want to go through this rigmorale everyday to open program. advice wante

I've been trying to use Photoshop Elements 2023 (Windows) to find photos captured on a particular month and day regardless of the year. I've tried the Search feature using text like "August 30" and "8/30" and "Aug 30" and I've tried Find>By details (Metadata)>Capture date. The latter seems to require a year. Any suggestions? Thanks for your attention.

I've misplaced my activation key for Photoshop Elements 7, and wish to install it on a new laptop.  I do have the serial number.  Any advice to recover the activation key would be appreciated.  I followed the steps on a previous post, and it didn't work.  Thanks.

TIA for any assistance. I just purchased and downloaded Elements 2024. The main reason I purchased it is because Adobe says it can be used OFFLINE once it's installed and not necessary to sign in (i.e. it's a stand alone product that can be used offline). I've entered the serial number and assumed it was activated at that point. (Apparently not tho' - my Adobe account shows I have no activated devices (using on my laptop only)). So far, I've only tried opening the photo editor workspace it opens just fine and I did a simple crop and save on a image. Wandering around the workspace menu, I see that I'm already logged in to my Adobe account - seemingly from the enter serial # step I did. I found I was logged under the Help menu in the photo editor workspace. If I select to "sign out", I get a "Sign out" pop up which advises "signing out will deactivate Photoshop Elements 2024 on this machine until you sign in again. This will also sign you out of all other Adobe applications on

How do I disable auto sync in Photoshop Elements

Windows 11 (automatically updated with a 2 week delay after releases), Organizer 2024, 32 GB RAM, Intel Core i7-14700 processor.  Catalog is on a 500GB SSD with 449 GB free space.   When I'm adding names to the UnNamed People shortcuts, frequently all of the Named and UnNamed shortcuts disappear.  To get them back, I must click some of the other menu items, like "Search" at the top of the page, then go back to the People panel and they usually all reappear. I've tried restarting the program, restarting the computer, repairing and optimizing the catalog.  None seem to help avoid that problem. I'm working with 73,000+ photos and videos.  Thought maybe I was pushing the program by not pausing between entering edits, but that doesn't help either. Suggestions?

I bought PS Elements two months ago and it worked perfectly. However, when I try to open the program now, it says that I have to reactivate PS Elements. When I press the buttom "Reactivate", I get 404 Page not found.I have tried to reinstall Elements but it doesn't work.Please advice what to do.

Did you get any resolution to this please? I appear to have the same issue. I purchased Adobe Photoshop elements 2021 most likely in 2021 and have used it on a couple of computers since which have now both been restored and sold. I wasn't aware I had to sign them out of Adobe first and therefore I can not now install to the new PC I am setting up as it claims........   "The serial number xxxxxx is already in use by the maximum number of computers. You need to activate the other computer within 30 days to use this product."   Did you find a work around please?
