Photoshop Elements

Elements Organiser 2025 has an Auto Sync (Beta) feature that I am unable to deactivate: the Auto Sync preferences settings are always being reset to on! Is there a fix to stop uploading and deactivate Auto Sync? If so, how can I apply it - my update option is greyed-out!

In Camera Raw I see only small picture area in large white window. How to resize picture area? 

After I edit a photo it no longer shows up as a photo in my file. It shows up as a Logo which I have to click on to allow my photo to appear. When there are several edited photos I have to open each one to finally get to the one I am searching for.Any ideas how to avoid this?Thanks, Chuck

Yesterday eveing I was using the Contact Sheet II feature and it was working as expected for the hours I was working. I just had a few moe to create before calling it a night and it suddenly came back with a program error. I did what I could to try and troubleshoot this, force quit the program, deleted the preferences, restarted my computer (macbook). I then completely uninstalled PSE and reinstalled.  Now the Print Package and Contact Sheet II options are greyed out and unable to be used at all. Something is completely broken and I need it fixed, the contact sheet is a large part of why I purchased PSE. 

Photoshop ElementsWindows 11My computer ended up with a blues screen.  After repairing it, I was attempting to reinstalll my applications.  I uninstalled Photoshop Elements and reinstalled and I am still encountering the same issue.  Each time I attmempt to use Photoshop Elements, I receive the following even after completing and it say's, After doing so,  it say's signed in and resume what you were doing.  Any suggestion would certainly be appreciated.   It goes right back to the image and have to start again over and over.  Thank you in advance for your assistance Hank 

Über Amazon habe ich für mein neues Notebook Photoshop Elements 2025 gekauft und versucht,es zu installieren. Da es Probleme mit dem System gab, musste dieses neu installiert werden. Nun sind diese Probleme gelöst und ich wollte das gekaufte Produkt erneut installieren, bekam aber die Meldung, dass  meine Einlösungscode bereits eingelöst wurde. Wie kann ich das Problem lösen? Hi, ich habe hier eine ältere Version von PS und Premiere Elements (V13) und diese habe ich jetzt auf meinem Laptop mit WIN11 installiert, da mein alter PC in Rente geschickt wurde, wo vorher beide Programme installiert waren. Dort wurden die Programme auch deinstalliert und vorher habe ich mich dort auch in den Programmen von Adobe abgemeldet.Beim starten der beiden Programme auf meinem Laptop werde ich aufgefordert, mich mit meinen Adobe Konto anzumelden, was auch ohne Probleme funktioniert. Leider kommt die Abfrage immer wieder und ich kann die Programme nicht starten. Ich habe auch bereits allen Ordnern Adminrechte eingeräumt (so wie auf einer Adobe Support Seite empfohlen wurde) und auch die Installation mit Adminrechten wiederholt, ohne Erfolg. Woran kann das noch liegen? Ich habe verzweifelt versucht den Support bei Adobe zu kontaktieren, finde aber für Privatpersonen keine Möglichkeit. Vielleicht kann mir hier jemand einen Tipp geben, vielen Dank!

I have recenty updatet my MacBook Air from 2015 with Intel processor,  to a "new" MacBook Air with A1 processor from 2020. I bought in 2021 Photoshop Elements 2021 for Mac and it worked fine on my old MacBook, but now i have problems.As soon as I start the editor it says there is an update to Photoshop Elements 2021.3, it can run the update now or as I close it. After I have closed the editor it starts to update, but there is the problem. It runs 88% then it stops and give me an errorcode 146. I have tried several times both closing the editor emedeatly for update, and finshing my work an then close for update. It is the same result every time. I have run the Adobe Log collector tool and got this message: AdobeLogs_20250317_164620_105-mac-GS.zxpI Realy need some help.Best regards Hans-Peter 

The installation process (on WIN11) said that it could not find this file: vc_runtimeminimum_x86.msi, apparently an older C++ MS package. I searched and found it, but received the attached message. Please let me know where this MSI can be found.... MANY thanks!!! PS if it is required why is it not included? 🙂

S'agit il reellement d'une erreur de telechargement de ma part ou d'une version piratee Merci de votre aide.  

I'm hoping to avoid making a mess while moving a catalogue to my new Windows 11 computer from older W10. I have a full catalogue backup on external drive. But concerned that restoring might create duplicates, because nearly all the photos are already on the new computer, having been transferred when I was setting it up, with the same names and in folders with the same name on both. Everything should all match because they are synced in Dropbox. Will Restore detect that the files are identical and NOT make copies, or is there some trick to avoid 27K dupes, without deleting all the photos from the new computer?

Is it a bad idea to combine ALL of my last 5 back up files into one HUGE file?I'm looking for ALL items in the catalog to be associated with only one file. Will this totally SCREW UP the entire file AND CATALOG?If not, will doing so delete multiples of duplicate files? Could this prevent the "searching for file" pop up? What concerns me is I had attempted to click on a photo and is disappeared from it's chronological spot in the current catalog. It MAY still be in there, but going through the 20,000 images is a task in itself. Thanks for any insight"Lost In NW Indiana"

Hi, I use Ps Elements 2025 and we need to save images and submit in Jpeg format.  If I save the image using the Save for Web function the jpeg image does not display the metadata.First shot below show Raw image detail, 2nd shot show Jpeg image with no detail, 3rd shot is the Save for Web screen.  The Save for web screen does not give the option to save all metadata.  How can I save a jpeg image to include the metadata, specifically in Ps Elements?  Would appreciate any guidance, thanks.  Gustav   

I do a signature, as a jpeg or psd.I click define brushI save it as best I can ctlr-sIt is there in the brushes - for a while  SometimesI have to click Load Brushes.Then disappears, never to be seen againHow do I save it in my brushes.Thank you.

I had to reset my computer. Now I have to import my photos from my backup drive. I am using Photoshop Elements 25. I have 200,000+ photos. Bulk import allows me to choose the file location but the import does not seem to be able to handle so many photos. How should I do it?

On my previous computer I had Elements 19. I have a new computer and I want to install Elements 25. My photos are stored on an external drive as they were when I was usin Element 19. Is the organization data preserved on the external drive, and will it be recognized by Elements 25?

I installed Camerara Raw 17.2 in Photoshop Elements 2025, it recognizes it, but it doesn't show me the new functions such as, for example, the one to remove reflections from images. Where am I wrong?  

Hello everyone,  I'm running Photoshop Elements 2025 on a 2021 MacBook Pro with Apple M1 chip. I have an external monitor connected to the MB.  When I open Elements, the screen opens on the external monitor and is "stuck" to the top of the monitor.  I cannot move Elements to my laptop screen, nor am I able to drag a corner or side of the screen to make it larger or smaller or change its shape.   All commands within Elements do what they should, but Elements itself doesn't respond to the dragging arrow.  The problem is present whether I use a mouse or the trackpad.  Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?  Thanks!

I have always printed from Editor which is quick when making small adjustments between prints.  Now when I click on 'Print' in Editor the program freezes, I cannot procede and have to Ctrl-Alt-Del to close the screen. I can print from Organiser but  switching back and forth with Editor is tiresome.  I am not technical so expect there is nothing simple I can do to resolve this and restore things to the way I have worked for 15+ years.   I'm using Windows 365 on a new powerful laptop and a new Pixma printer so feel that the problem lies with Photoshop Elements. Anything easy I can do ?  or should I just resign myself to the reduced functionality ?

Camera Raw 17.0.0.2043 in Photoshop Elements 2025 has a non-functional (grayed-out) Preview deselect button: i.e. I cannot switch between the before and after Auto edit settings.However, if I replace the Camera Raw 17 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\Elements 25\File Formats" folder with the Photoshop Elements 2023 Camera Raw 15 "File Formats" folder I get a functional Preview deselect button.I had this same problem/solution with Photoshop Elements 2024.

I right click a photo and it shows the little hand; however, when I drag the little hand to a new location, nothing happens.  Thank you.
