Photoshop Elements

I am attaching a file that was free and trying to change the text to have different words.  The forum doesn't allow me to attach a psd file, so I am attaching a jpg file and a second file that shows the layers in the psd file.  I can see all the layers but I haven't been successful in actually being able to type different text on the text layer.  Can anyone explain to me what I should be doing?  Thank you so much.

Hallo, ich hatte Photoshop Elements 9 auf meinem alten Rechner installiert und ein paar Jahre später ein Update zu Photoshop Elements 14 gekauft und installiert. Für beide Versionen besitze ich die Lizenz. Ich habe mir nun einen neuen Rechner gekauft und wollte dort wieder Photoshop Elements 14 installieren. Dazu habe ich mich bei Photoshop Elements 14 (wie beschrieben) auf dem alten Rechner abgemeldet.Danach konnte ich Photoshop Elements 9 auf meinem neuen Rechner installieren. Wenn ich die Lizenz von Photoshop Elements 14 eingebe, erhalten ich die Antwort: "Diese Seriennummer wird bereits verwendet". Im Forum habe ich gefunden, dass es hilft, das Programm komplett vom alten Rechner zu deinstallieren. Es ändert sich aber nichts. Hat jemand eine Idee, wie ich erreiche, dass das Programm wieder intalliert werden kann. Danke für Tipps.

Catalog file got currupted and now the program stalls.  How do I find & delete the old catalog file so that I can creat a new file and get the program to work?

What a disappointment!I just purchased Photoshop Elements 2024 and the menu font is way to small to see.I am using this program on my Surface Pro Laptop and would think that I could enlarge the program font size in the preferences. Nope.Have read what some of the "work arounds" are and none of them worked for me or I didn't want to have my desktop icons and such huge.Come on Adobe, do better and fix this so people can adjust the program menu fonts to a larger size in the Preferences.

I cannot use photoshop elements 14 on my laptop as your system thinks it is already installed on too many other laptops. I have uninstalled where I can, and I do not have access to any other laptops. How do I resolve?   [Mod: Moved to the Photoshop Elements forum]  

I have photoshop elements 2024. microsoft is forcing me to upgrade to windows 11. ( I now have windows 10 ). will my software I have be compatable with windows 11? will I be required to buy photoshop elements 2025?

Yes, I know it is my mistake. The PE version is the last one: 2025.To be more specific: the correct pointer for my photos should be: \\MY_NAS_NAME\my_folder\while I have: \\192.168.1.x\my_folderAfter moving to a new ISP my subnet is no more 1. Is there a way to replace all the instancies of \\192.168.1.x\ to the correct position without losing all my tags\metadata?Thanks for any suggestion

After not adding any new photos to Organizer for a few months, I added a bunch from a recent trip to Kenya. When I went to tag them by "Add new place" in the Places tab, instead of the map that usually shows there, I get "Sorry, we can't find that page". I can't figure out a workaround to tag my photos. The only change in my system has been a new Mac update (now Sonoma 14.4.1). I had this same issue a few years ago and it was solved by upgrading to the latest PE, but I am already using PE 2024.Suggestions?

Photoshop Elements work-space screen text is so small, I can hardly read it.  I need the text displays, tags and information  (ex. for menu bar, left panel with list of my albums and folders) to be enlarged.  In my computer settings, I tried changing screen resolution from 250% to 300% (recommended), which made everything except Photoshop Elements larger.  This just started happening.  I have version 18.0.0.0

A great feature to add is to be able to copy tags from one picture/ Video to the next. So many times i see a video or photo and spend time placeing say 7 people tags only to find out the next one has the same. How hard could it be it implement this.  i know I can select multible and then tag them all but sometimes your doing it one by one and its just not possible.

Meine Foto und Video Dateien sind grundsätzlich  (für mich) auf einem NAS. Mein PSE 2020 und PE2020 sind auf meiner Workstation installiert. Auf meiner Workstation habeich auch meine Kataloge (PSE empfiehlt den Katalog nicht auf einem Netzwerkdrive zu halten). Soweit so gut.Nun stell ich aber fest nachdem ich zahllose Mediendateien in meinen Katalog importiert habe, dass der Pfad den ich bei jeder Mediendatei ansehen kann (meistens) auf eien Speicherort zeigt der auf meiner Workstation liegt und nur wenige Mediendateien haben den  erwarteten Pfad direkt zum NAS angezeigt.INteressanterweise wird der entsprechend Ordner (für die importierten Mediendateien) auf meiner Workstation sogar mit dem gleichen Ordnernamen den ich auf meinem NAS für Medien gewählt habe bezeichnet.Da die Mehrheit der Dateien mit Daten vor über 2 Jahren zurück auf der WS liegen und die neueren (also jünger als 2 Jahre) den Pfad zur NAS angeben vermute ich dass die Kopie der alten  Mediendateien beim t

Hi,I've been using Elements 2025 for a few weeks.  I backed up my organizer about a week ago.  I continued to work in the Organizer cataloging and deleting images.  All of a sudden yesterday afternoon, when selecting an image, I get the "missing file" message.  This has happened to the vast majority of the images in my Organizer.  When I try to Reconnect, nothing is found.

Hallo an die Community,wegen der Migration auf Win 11 musste ich auf neue HW umziehen. Dort habe ich Photoshop Elements 2025 installiert. Alle Medien und alle Kataloge (6) habe ich migriert. Beim Einrichten  habe ich festgestellt, dass der Katalogmanager von allen meinen Katalogen nur einen erkennt und zum Laden anbietet. Alle anderen werden nicht angezeigt, obwohl sie in dem betreffenden Katalogdirectory vorhanden sind. Dies gilt sowohl für die Kataloge im alten Elements 22-Format als auch für die schon ins 25er-Format konvertierten (die Konversion habe ich noch auf meinem alten PC gemacht). Eigentlich sollten die alle im Katalog Manager sichtbar sein.Was kann da los sein? - Hoffe dringend auf Hilfe! Ralph

I have Photoshop Elements 2024 which I have not used for a couple of months. Now whenever I try and open Organizer it opens momentarily and then crashes. I have tried reinstalling the software but the same thing keeps happening. Any suggestions as how to resolve this would be welcome. Thanks

Is there a PSE 2025 Import Failure Log, and if so, where is it? Just imported about 40K images to my newly-downloaded product. Unsurprisingly, there were failures. I'd like to review them, more efficiently than I can by scrolling up and down in the small notification window that appears in the application. How can I?

I have just installed Elements and the size of the menu icons is tiny. I would like to know how to make them larger. Changing things like the screen resolution of the laptop has no effect

Is it possible to purchase / download just the Organiser bit of the PSE suite ie. no editor function?

Is there a way to set a preference in Elements to tell it to which directory I want it to start when I ask it to open a file or save a file?  I can do this in Microsoft Word and it is a huge time saver.  I don't use Microsoft's default file structure.

When I start the Organizer for the first time, then I have the impression that the Organizer is searching all disks in the pc.How can I control that the Organizer is only searching in one specific directory or map?

My organizer 2023 does not automaticly place the location of the photos? I have imported from organizer to google photos and it places it on the map so the information must be there, but nothing in organizer?  Searching on the net it says select the photo and go to places, it shows nothibng only a map with nothing on it. Any Help appreciated.

Hello everyone, I´m starting to use Photoshop but I´ve noticed that the font size in the UI is too small to be read properly as a person with hyperopia and astigmatism. The thing is, I´ve tried to modify this from the preferences inside the app scalling the UI to 200% but it didn´t work. I´ve tried many different thing including changing the configuration of DPIs in properties-compatibility. Still, none of this works. My resolution is 1920 x 1080, I have Windows 11 and my Photoshop version is updated to the last one. I hope I can find some help here!Thanks in advance.
