Photoshop Elements

I just bought Element 14.  It is constantly connecting up to the internet.  I have limited bandwidth & want to use the program offline.  It is completelyuseless to me if I can't work offline.   I could really use some advice.  I'm so disappointed as I'm not likely to shut off my modem every time I want to do some photo editing, not to mention the waste of money.

How do I bypass the home screen in Photoshop Elements 2024 and start with the organiser?

Hallo Zusammen,ich bin am verzweifeln. Ich habe diverse Versionen von PSE und einen neuen Lenovo Rechner mit Windows 10 Pro. Egal welche Versio von PSE ich versuche zu installieren endet noch vor der Installation in derselben Fehlermeldung: "Aktualisierung erforderlich. Ihr Browser oder Betriebssystem wird nicht mehr unterstützt. Möglicherweise müssen Sie erst die aktuellen Betriebssystem-Updates installieren." Sämtliche Ansätze zur Fehlersuche die von Adobe vorsgeschlagen werden helfen nicht. Auf jedem anderen Rechner den ich habe, lässt sich exakt dieselbe Version von PSE problemlos installieren.  Der Rechner ist jungfräulich und hat alle Windows-Updates installiert.  Meine Vermutung ist, dass irgendeine Windows-Komponente fehlt und Adobe einfach nicht die richtige Fehlermeldung ausgibt um mich wissen zu lassen, was für PSE fehlt.  Gibt es vielleicht eine Fehlerprotokoll-Datei die irgendwo temporär angelegt wird, aus der man erfahren könnte woran si

Hi HP Omnibook X Laptop running windows 11 I have purchased and installed Photoshop Elements 2025, however when i click on organizer,photo editor etc the box appears saying opening and after several seconds goes and nothing happens.Can anyone help ? Thn#anks in advanceMicky

I find the automatic HOME SCREEN as pictured HIGHLY ANNOYING as I only want to use photoshop elements and not the organiser or the Video editor. I'd like to turn this off in preferences. Please UPGRADE to allow this.

I'm running PSE 2024.0 and I can see that there is supposed to be a 2024.2 update, how do I get it to install?  

Windows 11 with PSE 2024 organizer, why would the Help menu - System info not work? All I get is a spinning circle and no response.Any way to get this to work?Thank you.

I noticed this feature which, the last time I looked years ago, didn't work.  Could someone verify this is correct?  Name tags, whether generated as face recognition or user input, are written when you use the write metadata to file.

Hi.  So has anyone figured out how to work around the little blue box that outlines your photos on the print screen?  I have always been able to move the photos on the page to where I want it to print.  I make a lot of 5x7 cards.  Have always put in a custom size for my paper, then moved the image to the bottom half of the paper to be printed.  I cannot get the blue box to move.  Is there a different setting I need to be using?  A way to disable that??  Thank you for any suggestions.  I have the latest version.  

As I type in photoshop elements 2023, the text is not updating as I type and I have to commit to the changes in order for it to show. It's really annoying me and has only started happening a few weeks ago. I found someone with a similar issue on the full photoshop but I don't think it's the same fix.

How do I make the man image (in the attached example) look more naturally in the hallway, rather than being copied and pasted onto it (which it was)? Thanks.

I recently bought an Adobe pack containing the latest versions of Adobe Photoshop elements and Adobe Premiere elements.The Adobe premiere element has installed successfully but the Photoshop keeps on showing error code 103.Please, kindly assist

Is it possible to use Photoshop Elements 2024 on two computers (not at the same time) with the photos stored on OneDrive?  I have a desktop and a laptop.  Each computer would connect to the Pictures folder on OneDrive.  They would/should share the same catalog.  My desktop has a large number of pictures that have accumulated over the years from backups of old computers and copied from friends.  I would like to slowly add these to the OneDrive and then catalog and edit from my laptop.  I have looked at various posts and I'm not sure Photoshop Elements is the best choice for this project.  But I have used it in the past and am most familiar with the interface.Thanks for your help.

Just installed ( and reinstalled) PSE 2025.  It would not accept the backup catalogue from our 2020 PSE, so we imported the photo's from the catalogue.  They all came in ( twice). We waited until the system had csccanned all the faces ( 13,000 itmes) and when I tried to access a photo. all the photo's disappeared exept a video that came in from our camera recently. Not sure how it got there.    So--two installations, two complete losss of all photos!!!  VERY disappointing!! We even bought a newer computer to handle the higher level OS --15.1)  See specs below.  PSE does not crash. It stays open. Just the photo's disappear!    We have used PSE for multiple years and multiple versions. Never had this problem.  We have PSE 2020 on this computer and it still works. I have a network drive (which could be my issue) that hostes all my photo's.  When using organizer to rotate photo's it bogs down after 2 or 3 attempts.  Anyone have an issue with this?

My HP TE01-1022 (specs fine for PSE) was originally running Photoshp Elements 18 (2020). PSE was installed via disk with activation code when the PC was new, about 3 years ago. PSE ran without any problems. Recently, there was a storm, and the PC crashed. The PC was repaired with a new motherboard (same as original). The PC is now running latest Windows 11 23H2, the most recent Edge and Firefox, updated dirivers, updated apps. Just about all apps were easily re-installed; some from disks, others from internet downloads, with all working fine. However, when I go to reinstall PSE via the disk, I get the drop down alert from Adobe stating that I should "Update your browser," and could go no further with the installation. As far as I can tell, as everything is fully updated, why this alert?  I have read and re-read this Adobe link (https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/update-operating-system-and-browser.html), but unfortunately, I'm still at a loss as how to get PSE 2020 on

Hallo Community,am WE habe ich versucht Photoshop Elelements 2019 (Ver. 17) unter Windows 10 neu u installieren. Bin direkt am Anfang der Installationsroutine gescheitert bei folgender Fehlermeldung "Browser aktualisieren". Beim recherschieren habe ich herausgefunden das wohl zwingend der Microsoft Explorer 11 nötig ist, dieser wurde aber vor Jahren eingestellt und nicht mehr unterstützt, mit "Edge" hat auch nicht funktioniert.Ich perönlich finde das schon ein Armutszeugnis von Adobe das die Installation nur mit einen bestimmten Browser funktioniert. Hat jemand ähnliche Erfahrungen gemacht, oder noch besser eine Lösung???Chatten mit den Profis von Adobe hat leider auch nichts gebracht.Im voraus vielen Dank,  Thomas

I have an ancient Adobe Photodeluxe program that will not run on windows 10. It has a great feature that allowed you to select a background color, click on the image and you have a new background color. I now use Elements 15 and don't see an easy way like that to change color. Is there one or is there a way to make my old program run on windows 10ThanksJohn

I previously used Photoshop Elements to put on a few computers that didn't need the high-powered editing that Creative Cloud has, mostly just text editing and whatnot, and I just bought a 2025 license and it's making me deactivate other PCs when in the past, all I needed for Elements was a license key. Did something change? I can't seem to use Elements 2025 without being forced to deactivate my own personal Creative Cloud.

I cut out the border on the snowman and then did something to it to put a red ring around the box.  I can't remember how I did this.  I need to do it on a couple more images.  I'm using Element 2021.  Can someone tell me how to do this? Norma
