Photoshop Elements

Hi all, I just upgraded to Photoshop Elements 2025 on my Mac (OS Sequoia 15.2) and can't print. I get this message “Could not complete your request because of a program error”. Has anyone else had this problem and solved it? Brian

Früher haben sich im Camera RAW Converter bei "Grundeinstellungen" automatisch die Untermenüs geöffnet, ohne daß ich die "Grundeinstellungen" extra anklicken mußte.Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, dies irgendwo zu verändern?Viele GrüßePeter

I'm scanning a bunch of photos into Elements. I always do a preview first so that the whole flatbed isn't scanned, just the photo itself. For some reason,  Elements is saving the preview with names like "img_001.bmp".  I never save my files as .bmp files but as .jpg files. Why is it doing this? I will have to go back and delete all those .bmp files.  Is this a setting? If so, I couldn't find it. Thanks for your help.

hello,i have adobe photoshop elements 10 editor on macbook pro (2010) OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 and from yesterday it appears a message "plist parsing error" and i can't open photoshop elements 10.any help or advice.....thank you.....

When working with a .png that is a layer in a project, I used to be able to simply click on it to get the layer to get handles, but now I have to use ctrl+t to get the handles...did I change a setting by accident?  Any ideas how to fix so that I don't have to hit ctrl+t everytime I want to re-size/rotate/etc....Thank you!

How do I get my scanned art to print using photoshop elements I just purchased I have HP 2700e all-in-one (printer/scanner)?  I using a new Macbook Air laptop. the printer is hooked up wirelessly.

In Elements 2024 after upgrade to Windows 11 all snipping tools require 2 snips of the same screenshot before pasting the following snip.  There was no problem in Windows 10.  After the upgrade the MS Snipping Tool began pasting the same image until I had performed 2 snips.  Only then would it allow me to snip another screenshot.  This only happens in Adobe products.  The MS Snpping Tool and a 3rd Party snippng tool worked fine in MS Word, and other programs. This only occurs in Photoshop CS6 and Photoshop Elements.  I have 2024 which worked fine in Windows 10.  This is definately a Windows 11 upgrade problem. Has anyone found a solution or is this a bug that cannot be solved until Adobe fixes it.

Hi, I use elements 2024 in Macbook air(2020) and it worked slowly and I change to new Macbook air (2022 model). When I clicked to use, it said "install failed". Adobe acrobat reader does not require to install, why elements does not work?? what shoud I do? thank you for your advice.Attached Screen shot:Cannot install. Error was occured during installataion.

Hello,I recently upgraded to Photoshop Elements 2025.   It won't print HEIC pictures.I still have Elements 2023 installed and it prints those same pictures without issue.What do I have to do to get Elements 2025 to print those same pictures?Thanks,Dave

Dobrý den, na PC s Windows 11 mám nainstalovaný Photoshop Elements 2024. Nyní potřebuji program aktivovat na MAC. Současné sériové číslo neumožňuje jeho aktivaci. Prosím o radu, jak postupovat.

JXL unterstützt?Das JPG-Format ist schon ein sehr betagtes Dateiformat und beinhaltet Einschränkungen.Das neue JPEG XL, zieht darauf ab, in allen Bereichen besser zu sein.Es wäre wünschenswert, wenn das neue zukunftsweisende JXL-Format in Adobe Elements Photoshop eine Unterstützung finden würde.Momentan ist eine eingeschränkte Bearbeitung nur unter der Camara RAW 16.0 möglich, aber nicht im Bildeditor von Adobe Elements Photoshop 2024.Im Adobe Elements 2024 Organizer werden die Vorschau von JXL-Dateien dargestellt,nur die Exif-Einträge kann man nicht bearbeiten. Beste Grüße Wolfgang

Also, it is reporting Windows 10 whereas I am running Windows 11. Thanks

APE2020 will not open and I get a message; "We have detected an abnormal exit.  Please try again or open/create a different catalog.  Do you want to try again?"  I tried creating a different catalog and get the same message.  I have removed Phototshop Elements 2019 and 2020, shut down, reinstalled 2020 and still have the same error.  By the way I am using an iMac with the latest updates.     You need to ask program questions in the forum for the program you are usingTo ask in the forum for your program please start at https://community.adobe.com/Moving from Using the Community (which is about the forums) to the correct forum... Hello, I recently upgraded from Photoshop Elements 9 running on Windows 11 to Photoshop Elements 2024 and now my prints are too dark.  My printer is an Epson R3000. I am using Epson paper with the correct profiles.   My monitor is calibrated, color managent is set to Always Optimize for Printing, Photoshop Elements manages color, color management is turned off in the printer software.   Printing from PSE 9 was never an issue. I am able to print from an old laptop running Windows 7 and PSE 9 without any problems.   I have removed and reinstalled the printer and drivers several times, which does not solve my problem.   My test prints are reference images which have not been modified, and printed correctly from PSE 9 running on Windows 11.   Does anybody have any suggestions?   Thanks, Andrew

I tried twice the procedure and in both cases the installation of Photoshop Elements 8 crashed my new windows 11 24h2, forcing me to do a recovery, fully resetting the PC.Installation seems initially good and Photoshop Elements 8 runs, but at first restart after installation the PC tries a recovery that fails and only way to recover the PC is to do a full recovery from USB, removing all apps, customization and data.Did anybody experience something similar?Any idea on how to solve?

I recently had to upgrade my computer and it is running MS 365.  Is there a version of PSE that will work on this platform with very little issues?  I know the most recent version is having major problems.

I've been using the Photoshop Elements Organizer for a long time with the 2022 version being the one I currently use.  I've had occassional problems with this version that have taken a bit of work to resolve in the catalog.  I thought maybe if I upgraded to the 2025 version those problems might have been fixed.  I did install the 2025 version but found that some "minor" changes had been made to the UI.  After some discussion about this with someone in the know, I learned that the font had been changed.  The consequence of this change is that the display of these lists uses about 50% more vertical space than in the 2022 version.  The extra space is between successive entries.  Since I have a very complex file structure with many folders and subfolders (about 1000), in the 2025 version I'm forced to do a lot more scrolling that I had to do in the 2022 version.  The same is true for selection of keyword tags.  I have decided to stay using the 2

I have photoshop elements 2018 but I find that there are some jpg or jpeg files that it wont open. In organiser they just show as an envelope. When I say open with editor I get the error message that the file may be truncated or corrupt. But if I use any other viewing app or editor the files open fine. Has anyone seen this problem and what is the fix please?

I just installed PS Elements 2024, and when I open the editor, I see black bars running across the majority of the screen.  Whatever is underneath can't be "clicked" and I've tried the traditional fixes (Have you tried turning it off and on again? - Roy) with no luck. I'm running Windows 11 and I don't see these lines when I open the catalog or in any other app.

I want to print a multi-page poster of a picture I have in Photoshop Elements but find it imposible so far.How is this done?
