Photoshop Elements

I've been using the Photoshop Elements Organizer for a long time with the 2022 version being the one I currently use.  I've had occassional problems with this version that have taken a bit of work to resolve in the catalog.  I thought maybe if I upgraded to the 2025 version those problems might have been fixed.  I did install the 2025 version but found that some "minor" changes had been made to the UI.  After some discussion about this with someone in the know, I learned that the font had been changed.  The consequence of this change is that the display of these lists uses about 50% more vertical space than in the 2022 version.  The extra space is between successive entries.  Since I have a very complex file structure with many folders and subfolders (about 1000), in the 2025 version I'm forced to do a lot more scrolling that I had to do in the 2022 version.  The same is true for selection of keyword tags.  I have decided to stay using the 2

I have photoshop elements 2018 but I find that there are some jpg or jpeg files that it wont open. In organiser they just show as an envelope. When I say open with editor I get the error message that the file may be truncated or corrupt. But if I use any other viewing app or editor the files open fine. Has anyone seen this problem and what is the fix please?

I just installed PS Elements 2024, and when I open the editor, I see black bars running across the majority of the screen.  Whatever is underneath can't be "clicked" and I've tried the traditional fixes (Have you tried turning it off and on again? - Roy) with no luck. I'm running Windows 11 and I don't see these lines when I open the catalog or in any other app.

I want to print a multi-page poster of a picture I have in Photoshop Elements but find it imposible so far.How is this done?

I have pourchased Elements 2024 because there is info on webpage I don't need be online to work with.This is false informatin. Every time when I log-off, program deactivate.Only reason why I spend my money to 2024 version because this.What I have to do work with MY already paid program in offline mode? Say I'm paranoid but I don't want Adoey spy/steal my private informatin/work/pictures. Anyone can help me or I have to refund this program and try find any other product working w/o private invasin to my PC? ThxV. 

L.S.I just started using a new Macbook running MacOS Sequoia 15.2.I downloaded Photoshop Elements 2025 for trial.I also installed Camera Raw, required to read DNG files.But each time I try to open a DNG file, Photoshop Elements crashes.The crash occurs no matter if I double-click the DNG in Finder or open it via File|Open in Camera Raw.When I try via File|Open in Camera Raw, the preview pane correctly shows the image.My DNG pictures are created by a 2020 Pentax K-70 camera.On my old Macbook I can open them without any issue with Photoshop Elements 10.Can anybody tell me what's wrong?Thanks in advance.Geert. 

I can nomore activate PSE 13 software on a PC with the latest version of windows 10.The activation keeps requiring a connection to Adobe (see attachment), in spite of repeated performance of the connection process through Adobe Account access (which, by the way, worked fine to allow me access to this page!)How can I overcome this problem?Is it a trick by Adobe to force us into purchasing new software?

Does anyone knows if there's a way to bypass the WIA Support/ Destination Folder option when using my scanner with Photoshop Elements? I would prefer the scan just open in the main screen rather than having to choose a folder each time.

I have downloaded a trial copy of Photoshop Elements 2025. I currently use PE 2019 with a Topaz Denoise plugin. I have been unable to get PE 2025 to see the plugin. When I click on the Topaz Pugin in the PE drop down menu (beacuse it does appear there), I get the messageCould not complete the Topaz DeNoise AI command because the file was not found.  I have reinstalled the Topaz app several times without success and manually copied the Topaz plugin into te PE plugins folder. Is there anything else I can do to sort this? I am reluctant to purchase the PE 2025 app if I can get the plugin to work as its a key part of my current workflow as a hobbyist. Many thanks for taking time to read this.Carlton

when I engage the print command it shuts down the whole program. I have photoshop 14

I have had 2021 Elements for 2 years. Suddenly the dropdowns on the menu bar starting with 'file' and 'edit' are greyed out. Even with a photo loaded in editor the drop downs are still greyed out and do not work. I can still upload a photo and access the 3 methods of working ie quick guided and expert. Is there a way of restoring these menus?

On a Macbook using Photoshop Elements with Sequoia. When I go to drag my cookie cutter tool the arrow changes from the usual crosshair to the arrow. This has been an issue ever since I started using Sequoia. Resetting the tool and/or Photoshop fixes for maybe the first time but it goes right back to it. I think this happens whenever I take the pointer out of the canvas but it never snaps back to the crosshair. I am trying to crop from corner to corner so this issue is common for me. 

March of this year, 2024, I purchased 2024 Photoshop Elements for my new iMac for $69.99. I was able to get it downloaded and it worked great for a few months. Around July, it wouldn't open any longer. I deleted the program and tried to download again and it won't download. It keeps giving me error code 183 "We are unable to install Adobe Photoshop Elements 2024 this time." I have tried too many times to download it and it keeps giving me the same error. I have deleted all Adobe files, given creative cloud full disk access, and gone through all the steps listed online. It still gives me error 183. Why is this happening? What do I need to do to fix this? If I can't get Photoshop on my iMac, I will be asking for a refund. I shouldn't pay that much for only a few months of the program.

I have purchased a canon R5 mark2. I have adobe elements 2025 with version 17 camera raw installed. When I try to import photos from camera or card reader, the photo downloader says <none  detected>. With that being said, if I import "files and folders" my files come up EOS_Digital (I:) I have a XFVC,  MISC, DCIM, and a CRM folder appear on the right. The MISC file shows up under properties as a exFAT file with how much information is on the CF express B card. If I click on the DCIM file, a 100EOSR5 file shows up, and when I open up that file, all my pictures show up. If  I highlight all my photos and click open, All my pictures show up in organizer (all my pictures are RAW CR3). I can edit them, save as jpeg or any format. When I click the "Back" arrow they show up with my other photos. Which is normal for me, but when I unplug my card reader from my computer, and try to open one of the pictures, it searches but can't find the pictures. For some reason its not dow

With Elements 2024 on dual 4k monitors (Elements full screen on only one monitor) and Wacom Intuos tablet, if the Elements  "UI Scale Factor" is set to Auto or 200%, then where the cursor shows and where the brush draws is offset up and to the left by close to a quarter of the screen.  So if you draw with the cursor in the upper left quadrant, it will ink in the lower right.  So to draw in the upper right of an image you need to have the cursor up and to the left outside of the image.  But pen pressure works fine and changes the width of the brush.  If you draw in any of the other quadrants of the screen, the cursor and the brush are aligned but pressure does not work and you get a fixed brush size.  This seems to indicate that the pen is being read as "mouse mode" outside of where Elements thinks the screen is, and in "Windows Ink" mode elsewhere.  And the PSUserConfig trick doesn't seem to work anymore.  So, either run Elements with UI Sca

Hello,I have reinstalled Photoshop Elements in the new PC. But opening row files plugin is not working well as before, some strange colors appear and photo affter openning looks not like before. See attached images with before and after printscreens. Before I had Windows 10, now I have Windows 11. Please advise what can be done.

Je suis actuellement à la recherche d'une solution pour récupérer des photos de famille d'une grande valeur sentimentale, stockées sur un ancien ordinateur de bureau Microsoft. Les photos étaient accessibles via le logiciel "Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2", installé sur cet ancien PC. Ce logiciel nécessitait apparemment un enregistrement avant la fin de son support ou d'une période d'essai du logiciel pour continuer à accéder aux fichiers (via un code reçu par mail, avant 2015). Malheureusement la personne qui gérait l'ordinateur à l'époque n'avait pas procédé à cet enregistrement. Depuis, il m'est impossible d'accéder aux photos via le logiciel qui semble aujourd'hui obsolète et n'est plus supporté par Adobe, même si j'arrive à en ouvrir l'interface... J'ai déjà fait appel à un informaticien qui a exploré le disque dur de l'ordinateur, mais il n'a pas retrouvé les fichiers photo, ce que j'avais moi-même tenté auparavant sans succès. Have a new laptop and new version of Elements (2025).  I did a backup from my old laptop to an external harddrive from Elements 2020.  After getting Elements 2025 loaded onto new laptop, did a restore using the backup I saved on my external harddrive.   After I run Elements 2025 on my new computer, I can see all of my photo's, but each time I try and open one, it cannot find it, (missing file).  I tried FIND ALL MISSING FILES, took an hour but still could not find my files.  I can find them!   What do I have to do to fix this. Thank You!!!!!

I had this happening when I had this plug-in on my windows 10 desktop with 2022 PS Elements and I cannot remember what I did to get it to stop appearing as soon as I open up the editor program. I transferred it to my new windows 11 desktop and now it keeps appearing In little box listing the different features it has. . Any idea how I can keep in the background.  Thanks 

Currently jan16/25 and iJust bought a new windows 11 desktop and wanting to use my Elements 2022 and downloaded it and has an older camera raw version-belive 14.1 while i have 15.3.0.1451 on my laptop .-from few years ago.  Can I get the 15 version and copy from my laptop or just stick with the 14.1 version. I have a sony AIV camera ans shoot in raw. Do i foollow the directions above.

I read online that Elements can open .dcm files but when I try I get an error message about not the right file type.  I am using a PC with Windows 11 Home edition. Can a dcm file be opened? If yes, how?Any help would be greatly appreciated.Chuck
