Photoshop Elements

I ave 160, 000 pictures in my Organizer.  I use Google Drive.  This was okay, until Google Drive uploaded all 160,oo picture and videos and charges me £7.99 to do this.  I do not need this, as I back up every so often onto an external hard drive.  Is there a method of getting to settings?  Secondly, can I switch this feature off.  I only need Goodle Drvie for those pcitres I take with my camera phone and pictures saved from the internet.  Thank you.

Hello,I would like to know if there is any way of moving each image inside of a group separatly using the moving tool, when I try to move one, it moves all the other images that are inside of the groupThank you

After I have imported photo folders and Organizer has completed facial recognition, I select  an unnamed face and give it a name.  The screen then jumps back to telling me to import images.  I stumbled onto a workaround, which is to select Places then select back to unnamed.  This seems to bring me back to a screen where I can continue to name some more unnamed faces. The same going to Places and back to  People happens when I make some other actions.  I have two questions.  The question in my subject line  and am I the only one with this jumping around thing?

Hi everyone I do backups of my entire PSE 2022 catalog to an external hard disk drive. My photo collection includes old photos of a village which I use as a historical archive and they are all tagged as such. I wish to do a separate backup this archive collection (only) to another disk so that it may be passed to another curator using PS in due course. Can I do this while retaining all the essential keyword metadata in a PS format or would other catalog programs be able to sort them? Is the only way to do an entire backup to another disk then manually delete the non-archive collection? That might take some time! Thanks Windows 10

Hi All, For 10 years or longer I have been using Elements and Premere 14 on a 10 year old PC. It has been a workhorse but is WIN 7 and having issues. I now have a new PC with WIN 11. I was using Elemenets 14 but would like to upgrade to the most current version or both. Do I need to first download the old (paid for & only downloaded once) version onto my new PC and then upgrade to take advantage of the current users upgrade price discount or can I download the latest version at a reduced cost? Thank you

I just tried to Import some photos from my iPhone 13.  Those dated 6/30/2024 or earlier Imported as normal.  However, those dated 7/1/2024 and later do not even appear when I click on the Import and select Phone.  The only thing that was different this time from all of the other Imports I have done is, when I selected Phone I got a box with a bunch of dates.  I checked on the boxes with a 2024 date (example: 20241_, 20242_, etc),  I had no idea what I was doing, but knew I wasn't going to be importing any photos prior to 2024.

I tried to use "Colon B&W photo" function,but an error message "Feature download failed. Either the server is currently unavailable, or your computer is disconnected from the internet...."occured.I tried on differen computers within a few weeks, and it never worked.Anyone know what's wrong and how do I fix it?

I had to recover 10's of thousand of files from a faulty drive. I lost all my previous catalogs. BUT the photo files I recovered still have the tags embedded in them. (I can see the tags associated with each file in WIN 10 file explorer.) After recovering and reorganizing 24,000* of the photos and upgrading to PSE-2024, I imported the photos. (* About 1/3 of what I have.) All went well EXCEPT the tags embedded in the files did not import. I have read what I could find at Adobe including community posts and can't find a fix.QUESTION: Is there is a way to import the tags after importing the photos? I've tried REPAIR CATALOG which didn't change anything. 

I can't reinstall Photoshop Elements 2022 after reinstalling Windows 10 on another SSD drive.I had an NVMe drive that was not responding so I reinstalled Windows 10 on a regular SSD drive. It was successful but now when I go to reinstall Elements, which I have done before successfully, I get an error 183 or a message about missing dll msvcp120.dll and sometimes a reference to customhook_hd_eo.exe.I have tried several fixes I have seen on this forum and others. Nothing works. I did eventually, however, download and install the trial version of Elements 2024 successfully so I am really confused. Is Elements 2022 meant to not last longer than two years? Is this a marketing thing? It makes no sense. What am I missing?

Hello! I recently installed Photoshop Elements and I went to use the Moving Overlay feature (which I have used many times before with previous years) but not only was it missing several of the options for overlays, when I clicked an overlay to use it would not apply the overlay.  I even saved my PDS file to JPG to see if that would solve the issue but it did not. Thank you!L.

Hallo,wir haben PSE 10 und PSE 2021. Bei Beiden habe ich Probleme mit der Kopie von Videoclips .Die Fotos werden von der Festplatte richtig übertragen.Be PSE 10  werden die Video auf dem Kopf wiedergegeben (vgl. Anhang). Die Videos wurden seitenrichtig aufgenommen und sind auch auf der  Festplatte seitenrichtig.Bei PSE 2021 wurden die Videoclips bei meinem alten PC und Windows 10 richtig übertragen.Bei meinem neuen PC mit Windows 11 kommt nur eine Fehlermeldung (vgl. just brought photoshop 2024 , opened it and no sky replacement tool in edit ?

When Photoshop Elements 2020 boots up,the program fills my screen, which is great.Only drawback is that the words are so tiny that I am almost forced to get an electron microscope to read them.All of the searches I have conducted lead totutorials on altering inage sizes,but not the program's display. Any help is greatly appreciated..

I selected an object and cut it leaving the white hole. Now I want to copy the same section lines on a defferent part of the photo and use the content aware tool (extend) to put a copy in the white hole.  Can I copy the selection line only?  Thank you for your help.

have new Laptop. Backed up files from old one and reinstalled Elements. I cannot open Photo Editor without a password. I have an account with a password but the scereen wants the serial number which I do not have. The redemtion code from 2019 does not work either. How do I talk to a person rather than a bot? Thanks for any help.

In Elements 2024 RAW editor, how can I copy adjustments from one photo to another, or to multiple others, without making the changes to all of the photos I have open in the editor. Thank you.

I am using Elements Organizer 2023. I ran out of space on my USB drive where I store photos. I copied all photos and files to new 6TB external drive. I created a new catalogue and imported files into Organizer, but none of the keyword tags are present. I imported the keyword tags into the new catalogue and they are all present, but cannot reassociate them with the files. Searched internet to find instrctions, but they do not seem to work. How can I reassociate my keyword tags to the moved files?

Can photoshop element 2022 work properly with surface pro 5 pen? mine is not working properly. I cannot find any answer on line by adobe. Is there any personal customer support from adobe?

I have Photoshop Elements 2022. A few months ago the Editor stopped working. It brings up the message "Loading Photoshop Elements Editor Workspace..." with the rotting circle but eventually this goes away without anything happening so I can't edit any photos.  How do I fix this?

I recently installed Photoshop Elements 2022 on a new Windows 11 system, after using for some time on Windows 10. I also removed the drives that contain the photos (and catalogs) from the Windows 10 system and installed them in the Windows 11 system, making sure that the drive letters are the same. That way, the catalogs open without requiring any special import procedure. I've noticed that photos removed from Photoshop Elements 2022 in Windows 11 (using Remove from Catalog AND Remove from Hard Drive) are going to the Recycle Bin. I don't recall this happening in Windows 10. Is there a setting to change this behavior?

I have Elements 2021. I found a lot of shortcuts for the tools in the Toolbox Panel and the Layers Panel in the User Guide.  But I haven't found any shortcuts for the Menu Commands or the Tool Options. I have a hand tremor that might lessen with the right medication and dosage, or it may get worse with age.  Consequently, I need to reduce my dependency on the mouse (not to mention the time waisted using it now that I know the names and purposes of the tiny icons).  Specifically, is there a shortcut for Edit - Cut - Create New Layer - Edit Paste - hide layer - return to Background layer, without using the mouse?  Also, is there a shortcut to return to Backround layer? I seems to me that the up and down arrow keys should have a purpose.  Thank you, Ann.

I just started having this problem after years of Importing photos from my iPhone 13 into Photoshop Elements 2022.  What is now heppening is that when I try to Import photos from my iPhone, it shows all photos taken before 7/1/2024.  However, all photos taken on 7/1/2024, or more recently, do not appear.  I have duplicated a photo, but still did not appear.  I called Apple Support and checked out my Camera settings and said everything is correct.  I am trying to Import my photos as JPEG, which I have always done.  I'm an old dude and definitely not a computer guru, but this is driving me nuts!

Using WIN 10 and Elements 12. While editing an album of jpegs, all files except one dropped out of the album. When I tried to reload the files into the album, I got a msg that the files were already in the catalog. I was unable to use the Find function to get so I could mark them as part of the album.  I think it may be a catalog problem. Can anyone help?

Where do I find the dark mode in Photoshop Elements 2023?It is driving me nuts looking at a white screen.I use the version from the Windows Store.Thank you!
