Photoshop Elements

I need to use Gotham font type but it not listed as an option. How can I get this font?

I am a new user of  Photoshop Elements 8. On the Adobe website Help, it says "to show the Panel Bin, chooseWindow>Panel Bin"a, which should then display Effects in the top section and Layers in the lower section. However, when I do this, which essentially puts a check mark by Panel Bin, nothing else happens, and the PanelBin does not appear on the right side of my workspace. What do I need to do?Thank you.

I want to enter an image into an online competition but the size needs to be less than 3 MB.  Most of my images seem to be larger than this.  How do I reduce the size of the image in either elements or iphoto?  I get confused by the different ways of measuring the images.  I just want to make the image less than 3 MB

I am using PSE 9 - I need to print two passport pictures (2"x2") on one 4x6 photo paper. My  printer is an HP Officejet pro 8600, I understand I have to create a file with the two pictures using PSE to send to the printer. Could I get some help on how to do this?Thank you

Hello,I would like to emphasize a certain spot on a picture by drawing a transparent rectangle with red borders around it. I cannot find how to make the rectangle completely transparent without also making the borders transparent. Also, I find it difficult to be able to change the borders. How do I put a checkmark symbol (where is it located) by a word I've typed

the outline on my eraser brush is gone and I can't think what I did or do to get it back, Help. I can't see where my brush is erasing.

HiI'm pretty new to Photoshop.  I've used Premiere Elements a bit longer.I want to put a red ring (hollow circle) over something in Permiere.  I understand how to make transparant areas with solid objects such as circles and stars.  I want to essentially make a .png of a circle with both the outside transparant and a second circle in the middle which is also transparant.  I know how to put it into Permiere after that.I've struggled for three hours in trial and error and searching documentation and tutorials.  I don't see how to remove a circular area from a larger circle on a transparant background.ThanksJanis

When I am tagging and hit name more peole, I get the "groups of people" window with no thumbnail photos, just blank and black with a "?" below, in the left column.  I have at least on thumnail photo in each line in the right column.  Only choice is to cancel or save.  What is wrong?

Freshly installed Elements 10.  Can not use the option-mouse click to define an area for the clone stamp.  The error I get is:Could not use the clone stamp tool because the area to clone has not been defined (option-click to define a source point).New Mac Mini.  Had the same problems in Elements 9 so I installed the 10 trial.  Is this a key binding error?  Did not have this issue with Elements 9 on my Mac Air or my Windows 7 system.  I'm not a newbie and know how to use the clone tool.  I won't say I'm an expert so if it's something related to layers please throw out some ideas.

With PSE 6 on OS X , I have the problem that whenever I want to  alter the crop feature selection, it annoyingly wants to know better than me and snaps to the borders of the picture - but I just want to cut off some pixels. Which is simply impossible. This had not been the case with PSE 2.  Is there any way to turn off this "snap to"-feature? "Snap to grid" and "Snap to guides" are disabled.  Ah, and another one: How can I make an automatic selection of the complete content of a specific layer? Under PSE 2, this worked well in the Layer preview screen, now the feature has vanished.Thanks for any help!

Hello. I have a picture that I want to use for an application's icon, and I was hoping that I could create the icon in PhotoShop Elements 6. I do not see any way to do this, however. That file-type option is not available in either "Save As" or "Export." Does anyone know how to do this? I did a Google search and saw where I would need to download a plug-in. If this is true, can anyone recommend a good plug-in? (I'm a little paranoid about what I download on my computer). Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

When I try to paint a certain color it always puts down the gray value of it, even the backgrounds I try to put in are in grayscale. On the tab for my picture it says (Layer 0, Gray/8). I'm not sure how and when I did it, so I have no clue how to put it back, if it was me.

When I select my basic eraser tool, it paints instead of erasing.  I was playing around with the background eraser one night and it has been messed up ever since.  I have tried resetting my tools with no luck.  I'm new to elements and I'm sure it is something simple but I just can'y figure it out.  I need it back in a hurry to finish a project.  Can anyone help?

I need to fade the edge of an image to 100% transparency, save as PNG, and then I can put it on another image and it fits naturally. how should i do it?

Hello guys and girlsI'm new to Photoshop and I'm in the process of learning to create my on custom logo! Can anyone direct me to safe place to download free fonts? Also do I need to put the fonts in a special place within the PS folders or can I throw them with my other windows fonts?Thanks.

I have deleted everyting I can find related to Adobe, Adobe Reader, and Adobe Photoshop 7.0.  There is just one file I can't get rid of.  the file is CoreSync_x64.dll.  Every time I try to delete it, I get a message, "This action can't be completed because the file is open in windows explorer.  Close the file and try again.  CoreSync_x64.dllFile Description:  Core SyncFile Version: 1.1.2.677Date Created: 10/16/2013 7:02PMSize: 3.20 MB"I have even tried going into safe mode to get rid of it, but no luck.  My system is Windows 8.1.  How can I find out what file is open and preventing my removal of this file?The actual file is located in C:\Program Files (x86)\adobe\adobe creative cloud\core Sync\CoreSync_x64.dll.There are no other files in any of the directories.

A few days ago while working on photoshop, my younger sibling messed around and made the layers tab disappear. From what she tells me, she accidentally drug it out of the pse7 window and it hasn't shown up since. I've tried logging off and logging back onto my computer, shutting it down and restarting, but of course none of that has worked. Any help, please?

I'm using paint bucket for fill colors and though I see and choose colors from the spectrum all I am getting is shades of gray.  What happened to the colors for the foreground and background, why does it only come out shades of gray even though in picker it shows I have picked a color?

I want to create an image with some text written on it. The text which is to be written is in Hindi language and I have that text in a ms word file. But I don't know Hindi typing so the only option I have is to copy and paste that text from ms-word file as it is. Now the problem is the same font is working in ms-word file properly but as I soon as I copy it to Photoshop with the same font enabled, it is showing something weird boxes. In short, Hindi font is working for ms-word but same Hindi font is not working for Photoshop particularly in case of copy and paste. Not only one font, I tried many of them but problem is the same for every font. Please help. Proper answer will be greatly appreciated.

When I save an image as a jpeg, there are three opptions: 1. Baseline Standard, 2. Baseline Optimised, 3. Progresive. Can anyone explain the differences apart from file size?

OK, this is driving me crazy! The simplest thing I should be able to do without question is holding me up.. I know how to perfectly center images no problem, but the text tool allows you to have text placedat the near top, top middle and end but not perfectly in the middle. I can do it by eye test manually..but I have a special font that I want for a banner to be perfectly in the middle, someone help!I want it to be centered with the exact same dimensions vertically/horizontally. Perfect Middle/Center
